Marluxia gathered up Xemnas' food together on one plate and smashed it in Xaldin's face.
Demyx laughed. "That must have been hard. I hate being new." He opened the box of Bertie's Beans and pulled out a brown one. He gazed at it for a minute, then popped it in his mouth. He wished he hadn't. "Ugh, it tastes like dirt." OOC: I have to go now, be back tomorrow!
"I've never had very many friends," Demyx admitted. "I've always said that the boys in my classes were too wimpy. They were all concerned about being the teachers pet to be mischievous. And the girls were always huddled in little groups, talking about who knows what to no one but each other."
Demyx nodded. "How do you think you'll like this school? I know it'll be a blast for me, especially with Hermione here. But she seems to have shaped up a little, so I think I'll be ok."
Demyx grinned. He had been really worried she would say no. "Well, that's about it! We can hang out here for a while if you want."
"Yeah..." Demyx took a deep breath and said, "Would... would you like to go with me?"
"Umm..." Demyx had to think for a minute. "Oh yeah, well, there's going to be a dance in about a week, and um, well..."
Demyx sighed. "This is private. You need to go away. If you were just trying to know what was going on, now you know." He turned away and shut the trapdoor. He saw Namine looking worried. "Don't worry," he said, smiling slightly at the look on her face, "He just took me by surprise. I overreacted a little bit, I'm not usually like that."
Demyx whirled around to face Hermione. "Have you two been spying on us?!?!?" he cried angrily, releasing Axel.
"Yeah, there's -" Demyx stopped. He heard something move on the floor above. He walked over to the trapdoor and flung it open. He grabbed Axel by the collar and said angrily "How long have you been listening!?!?!?!? What did you hear!?!?!?"
Demyx sighed in relief. "Now that we have that done...... I'm not sure if you know, but there's going to be a school dance in about a week...."
Demyx finally said, "Well.... I don't think Kairi or Olette would tell anyone if we asked them not to, and no one else knows, so if we're careful, then we should be able to avoid any problems, right?"
Demyx wasn't quite sure what to say. He wished that Namine would say something so that they wouldn't be in silence like this.
Demyx thought for a minute, then said "Well.. there are several things I'd like to discuss. One of them is the whole "like" thing with you and me. We don't want the whole school knowing about it, mainly because of harassment issues. It doesn't bother me that much, but it'll get annoying and probably a little uncomfortable after a while."
Demyx grinned. "I'm kidding, it fine. It's not that late." He felt something in his pocket, and pulled out the box of Bertie's Beans from his pocket. He hadn't thought to bring any food, they were probably going to have to sneak into the kitchen to get some. "I forgot I had these in here," he said, laughing. He offered the box out to Namine. "We're probably going to have to sneak into the kitchen to get food since we'll be here for a while."
