I used Oblivion throuout as much of the game as possible but the rest of the time I used Hero's Crest. I like them both.

  3. The Fifth Element
    Riku

He is my favorite because he seems the most real. I mean Sora is cool but I highly doubt that someone could be that happy ALL the time. Riku has different emotions, which depend on the situation. Thats what I like about him.

The doors were pushed open again that day, letting in another person. Of course Tristan didn't think of himself as a person, more like a monster. He didn't want to be this way and that was why he was seeking the book he had told himself so many times. A voice in the back of his mind whispered to him though.

"There is another reason you seek the book."

He growled and pushed the voice deeper down still. Inhaling the air he was surprised to find out that there were two others in here. He was tempted by the blood but held himself back very well. He was in complete control. The stairs were translucent, well almost anyway. Tristan thought this was odd but he didn't really put much thought into. His speed was twice that of a human so he was gaining on the two fast.

Christopher nodded gratefully, and let loose a soft smile. He saw a look of slight anger come over her face as she sized him up but he disregarded it. Stepping into the house, he procceeded to stow his jacket in his pack and followed Bridget. She was shorter than him but not much and he thought she looked very friendly. Maybe he was beginning to like her.

"By the way, I don't think I ever caught your name," he said.

Christopher heard no reply but heard something about a present and then footsteps towards the door. He looked at it expectantly and waited for it to open. The sky was changing for the better, or so Christopher thought. Clouds were being pierced by sunlight and the water from the trees was dripping less and less. He unbuttoned his raincoat, leaving his button up white shirt and black pants open. He hadn't had time to change from the cafe. His converse sneakers were a little damp but he honestly didn't care. The door swung open and Christopher gazed at the girl from before. He raised his hands up in a gesture of surrender.

"Uh.. just wanted to make sure that you were ok, so please don't taze me," he said softly.

He heard the shriek and his eyebrows furrowed. he banged a little softer.

"It's me...er...Christopher from the cafe. I wanted to make sure you are ok. And uh please don't taze me,' he asked helplessly.

He stood at the door as the rain lessened a little around him, leaving the trees dripping slowly and at a steady rhythm. Christopher tapped his foot to the sound of the water falling, waiting for an answer. He hoped she was ok. His eyes blazed when he thought of those thugs, on his way to work tomorrow he would deal with them.

Maybe she isn't answering the door because she doesn't think it's me?

" Uh...'To yield without conviction is no compliment to the understanding of either.' " he said loud enough for her to hear.

Christopher jumped onto his motorcycle and brought his foot down hard on the kickstand, making the engine roar to life. He speed up and rode low over the motorcycle, flying in the direction of the car. He watched as she went in the house and a few minutes later his best friend followed. He blinked in surprise.

    They must be related.

He ran up to the door after putting away his cycle. He banged on the door and waited, dripping.

"Ok bye," called out Christopher as he clocked out.

He grabbed his pack and slipped on his raincoat over him and the pack. He was thankful that he had brought it and waved goodbye to the staff of the cafe before stepping into the rain. He flipped up his collar and started for the parking lot. The rain had made the cars leave this street so it was pretty quiet. He heard something.

    "Get away! Someone! Please Stop!"

Then he heard a scream and without thinking was racing towards the horrible sound. He came upon three thugs and the girl from the cafe before. He stepped into their line of sight and spoke in a clear, confident voice.

    "Stop."

    "Right away."

Christopher tore his eyes from her and walked back to the counter, repeating the order to the person behind the counter. He shifted from foot to foot as he waited for the tea to boil, finally the order was set and he carried the tray over to her table. She was beautiful and he knew it. He set the tray down and put the food on the table. A call made him turn and he walked back with the tray. The cook was motioning him over and handed him something wrapped in a napkin. Christopher took it and unwrapped it, finding 4 cookies.

"What is this for," he asked, holding up the cookies.

    The cook just smiled.

"Happy early birthday ok? I'll see you tomorrow but not the next day so I decided to give it to you now."

Christopher murmured his thanks and went to sit down at a table next to the girl.

Christopher noticed a girl come into the cafe and sit down, pulling out a book. He smiled to himself. From the cover he could tell that it was Pride and Prejudice, one of his favorite books. He walked over to her silently and stood behind her.

"Affectation of candour is common enough— one meets with it everywhere. But to be candid without ostentation or design— to take the good of everybody's character and make it still better, and say nothing of the bad— belongs to you alone," recited Christopher as he slid around to the other side of the table.

"I'm Christopher, what would you like today?"

Lillian looked at her schedule and found that her first class was History. She sighed and rolled her eyes. As she made her way to the class she studied the school. It was fairly small and blank but she didn't mind. She entered the classroom and sat in the back. The bell rang and the teacher came in.

We will be learning American History for the 9th time in 9 years. Every year they always say that we'll skip "right up to the present" but we always get stuck in the industrial revolution.

Christopher sighed and began drawing on his pad. He didn't think that he was that great of an artist but he enjoyed it none the less. He drew the scene outside, rain falling on the cobblestone, cars driving by and some people walking with umbrellas. He finished the drawing and looked up, thinking he had heard something. The man was calling to him and waving. He stood and returned the pad to the front pocket of his apron, along with his pencil. He rarely used them because usually there were only two or three orders to remember. As he stepped up to the table the man smiled.

"Thank you son," the man said now.

He seemed sober now, or close to in anyway. Christopher nodded and smiled.

"Your welcome sir. You can call me Christopher."

"Well ,here Christopher, keep the change."

The man put a bag of coins in his hand and stood to leave. He walked to the door and the jingling bell signaled that he was out on the street now. Christopher looked down at the bill and sucked in a breath. This was a hundred francs! He quickly counted them up and gasped again. He would get to keep €14.00 for himself. He happily put the money in his pocket and gave the actual pay over to the man running the cash register.

Lillian stepped off the bus and eyed the school. She sighed and then looked down at herself. She wore simple jeans and a dark purple tee shirt with her jacket over it. Her sneakers were damp from the rain but when weren't they? She grabbed her tan pack and threw it over her shoulder. She began walking towards the school.

Its my first day of high school. I have seven new notebooks, a shirt I hate....and a stomach ache.

Christopher served the man and watched as he drank the coffee slowly. It was black, which explained for the shudder on the man's face as he took the first sip. Christopher nodded once, satisfied. He turned back to the counter and sat down in a small wooden chair. He sighed and set his head in his fists, watching the cafe bustle around. Boredom swept around him and he glanced at his wrist watch. He had about an hour left until he could stop by and say hi to Miranda. He remembered how shocked he had been when Haiden had told him that Miranda was coming back. It had taken him awhile to get the information out of Haiden's jumble of words. Haiden had been so excited that he had spit out all of the sentence in one shout. Tristan chuckled as he remembered that moment. He wondered idly if there were any new customers. His eyes swept the cafe but found none so he resumed thinking. A few drops splattered the glass in the front of the cafe and Tristan looked up at the cloudy sky.

Lillian opened her eyes and realized that she had fallen asleep. The first rays of dawn were bursting over the horizon and sat up. She rubbed her eyes and looked around, disoriented.
