The closer they walked, the more excited Gemini got. She could already see the people in the streets. "Oh!" she gasped, looking at all the different people. Besides Sameire and Gemini's mother, she was only used to Cat Clan people. All the different apperances fasinated her. "They make me want to be an artist." she laughed aloud although the thought didn't make sense outside her own head.
Gemini touched her pocket that held the little money her father had been able to give her. "So I go to an inn... and then find a job... and then move on." she said to herself, as if going through a list.
OOC: gah! i need to get on on the other game where you win when you remember... this is killing me. BIC: Gemini nodded with a big smile and, finally, spun around so she was walking foward again. "Wow, look how lovely it is!" she exclaimed, taking in the town.
"You're welcome, maybe someday we can meet again. Then I can hear all about what you've found." Gemini felt the reluctance in Sameire's grasp to let go but she pulled away gently. She wasn't keen to be alone again but she didn't have fear behind her and was eager to see what the town had to offer. OOC: talking to characters again are we, Garxena? *sigh* i thought we were over this... Gemini: hi! me: AH! it's contagious!
Gemini shook her head, "I'm not involved." she assured Sameire. She looked over her shoulder to see the town too. "I guess this is where we part." she smile broke her face and she offered her hand again. "Thank you for allowing me to meet you. I've learned more from you than I thought I could."
Gemini glanced around, as if expecting to see someone following them. "I see," she shrugged, looking at Sameire slowly. "I'd be in your way anyway, I mean I'm just seeing the world. You have a real goal."
Gemini nodded. "Well, that explains why you don't want a companion after we reach town." she said, "I do hope you find all the answers you're looking for. It is important."
Gemini watched Sameire's face as she spoke. "So that's what you're really doing? Trying to find out about your father?" she tried to clarify.
"What did he say that could be worse than beheading your brother?" Gemini's eyes flashed a fearful emotion as she asked. The more Sameire said, the darker the world was becoming in Gemini's eyes and it was beginning to frighten her.
yeah, i bet not. i love the summer here! it's just lately it's been pretending to not be summer. silly weather
Gemini looked away from her to the sky again. "That... awful. Did this happen recently? Because you're just running away now, aren't you?" mentally she was adding up what she'd already been told with the new information.
Gemini looked at the crest with interest but without any recognition. "Well you didn't really lie." she pointed out. "I never asked your social class." she tapped a finger on her lips thoughfully. "So what did your father do that could drive you away?"
Gemini looked at her in surprise. "What is she running from?" she asked, scrutinizing Sameire now. "And yes, useless. I've lived my whole life without royalty, and my whole clan was fine. It has no need." she explained, smiling again. "Are you a run away princess?"
Gemini thought about it for a moment. "I think royalty seems heavy." she finally answered. "So much responsibilty. And it's so useless, really."
Gemini looked at her again. "No, I don't." she smiled apologeticly. "My clan was small. We stayed away from the world. Father didn't talk to me about the world and Mother... she just didn't either." she explained. "All I know is the clan."
"I don't know who or where that is. I'm sorry." Gemini apologized, trying to laugh off her own ignorance. "Why?"
"uh..." Gemini rubbed her nose, "I'm sorry, who?" She looked up towards the sky, hoping she wouldn't come off as too dim. She suddenly wished her father or mother had told her more about the world.
"you don't have to tell me about it if you'd rather not." Gemini said, softly. "I don't want to make you uncomfortable."
Gemini hesitated to ask because she knew she'd been asking a lot already. "Why is it so bad?" she finally asked anyway, hoping she wasn't being rude. Sameire's problems were already worrying her, she couldn't help being curious.
Gemini waved a hand as if to push away the terms she'd used. "Those are just code for 'strong', i'm sure." she decided. "I wish I was as independent as that." she added, fondly. OOC: rawr, u got post 1100 :p
