For an instant, a flash of light shone on Marcus' right arm and a beam shone from his left wrist. When it faded away, he held a heavy sheild painted with a cross and a broadsword. His shadow was gone.

Marcus walked quite calmly through the crowd. Whenever the crowd parted and his shadow fell to the concrete, he could see Mikuhl's scowl glow through the darkness.

Marcus exited a brick lined alleyway, Mikuhl spreading out infront of him, across the ground and the people.
"Alright. Just remember what I told you." A large, pale figure in armour said. "And you remember what I told you!" retorted the young man at his side. The first man seemingly sunk into the ground and became the shadow of his younger counterpart.
