Oh yes. It's out there. XD When a show becomes popular enough, it spawns its own fandom and it increases over time. Peepz of all races and ages are fans of particular anime.. Even though that's a good thing, that real bad part comes with the fandom themselves in general. In fact, most of the old fandoms have gone downhill today, and the new ones aren't better, either. While new fresh fans is a given, its actually the majority of the new fans that cause the downhill. XD It has nothin' to do with the lack of knowledge. Rather, it has to do with other stuff. There are also the so-called 'know-it-alls' and the one-sided, narrow-minded, biased fans that make it even worse When it comes to bad fandoms, Dragon Ball Z and Sonic hit rock bottom. Oh yes, I said it. XD DBZ's fanbase has dropped considerably, now a shadow of its former glory.. Some the new fans believe that the original version of the anime far surpasses that of the dub. This is 100% bullsh*t. XD The original version of an anime bein' better than the dubs does NOT, I repeat, does NOT apply to every anime. Back then, we really didn't even give two sh*ts about the original. We really didn't care one bit, did we? No. We sat back and just enjoyed the show without complaints. Also, due to the strong fan presence of Dragon Ball AF and other so-called 'guru' websites and the vast universe of the series, people often mix up and their facts all wrong which mainly stems from the Super Saiyan system. The Sonic fanbase is no different. 95% percent of the fandom conists of whiny people. Sonic fans will look for at least one fault in a game and exaggerate it to the extreme. Every game has its faults and glitches, but to them, it's like a bomb was dropped on them. Almost all the fangirls are in crazy love of Shadow. While he is a dynamic character compared to the rest of the series, the debates made with him bein' better than the series's star, Sonic, is just plain stupid, to put it lightly. Bein' that Sonic is Sega's mascot and was Nintendo's and Mario's mascot, this is to say this is what sparks one of the more violent, and utter, biased craptastic fights on the net. Sonic WAS at one point, better than Mario, but that didn't last. D: It is these biased Sonic fans who neglect the fact that it is Mario and Nintendo who single-handedly revived video games to begin with, after the Video Game Crash of 1983 Yeah, so while a series is gonna be great and all, and have its fans, its the fanbase that needs improvement Any questions or thoughts? o:
As of today's chapter of Naruto, 397, things have gotten pretty wild. Sasuke gets his own Mangekyou out of the blue. And Tobi reveals that Itachi himself transferred all of his powers to him, most likely through that poke to the head and subconsciously fires off an Amateratsu which to no suprise, Tobi survives. Somethin' that Obito's body obviously can't handle. Speakin' of Tobi: The dude FINALLY directly stated himself to be none other than Madara Uchiha. And I quote from here, all in full truth: Tobi: Somehow, at the last second, he transferred all of his eye techniques Sasuke: ...That makes no sense...what are you trying to say?! Why would Itachi want to- Tobi: You still don't know? Sasuke: ?! Tobi: It was ----- to protect you Sasuke: Protect me?! Is that supposed to be funny?! Tobi: As I've said before, you knew so much about your brother, yet you knew nothing at all Sasuke: You keep f*cking with me, and I will kill you! Tobi: I see talking to you is going to be difficult. I guess I understand; some weirdo takes you in and starts saying shocking things. But I assure you, I speak the truth. You asked Itachi yourself about the man that helped him that night Sasuke:........ Tobi: It was me. Uchiha Madara RIGHT THERE! THERE IS YOUR PROOF! Dun't believe yet? Well, like the fangirls, Sasuke didn't take this so well, but Tobi/Madara interrupts him in mid-sentence, saying he wants Sasuke to know about Itachi's life and the truth behind it all and only Madara knows this all Still don't believe me? Go read naow. Any questions or thoughts?
Seriously, I REALLY can;t stand it. XD Everytime I wanna look for at least one lil' anime battle, I get the same crap about 100 times over: an epic battle killed by a Linkin Park song. Don't get me wrong. I like Linkin Park's music, I just can't stand it when both their music and the battle scene is killed by the same song used 1000 times OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN! Whether its Dragon Ball Z or Sonic. Speakin' of wihch. The Sonic theme songs have all been killed. There are only a select few AMVs with different songs. But everything else is just killed. Either I'm hearin' What I'm Made Of from Sonic Heroes or Live and Learn from Sonic Adventure 2. D: Does anyone have any have any originality anymore? D:
'Welcome to Neo Amerika, citizen!' The line yer usually greeted with when you start up the game. B.I.O. Freaks was a fighting game released in the late 90s by Midway, the guys famous for the Mortal Kombat series. Like its cousins, MK, and Mace, B.I.O. Freaks is a gory fighter. But wait. This game is a lil' bit different from yer usual fighting game. Yes, you can move around and punch and kick, but this particular fighter has some new game mechanics Each character has access to a unique primary weapon that can be used at any time and most of them do permanent damage. Each character also has access to flight abilities, allowing them to rise and strafe around their opponents. You can also dash as well. But unlike most fighting games, you get to your opponent in nearly an instant Unique to this game is a Limb Loss system, not seen since Time Killers and Bloodstorm, two games that tried to compete with Mortal Kombat. Like stated above, there are some weapons as well as special moves that causes the opponent or player to lose a limb in battle. Mainly you lose your arms first, and with it, any weapons that might have been on there. If a player takes enough damage again without arms, their head is destroyed, ending the round instantly. It is also possible to lose an entire torso Like Mortal Kombat, B.I.O. Freaks also featured Fatalities. However, unlike said series, these could be executed at anytime, which are signaled by glowing spots. Some moves remove limbs instantly while other will cut off the head or torso completely. In essence, they're super moves, but without havin' to power up. The game features 8 cybernetic fighters who fight in post-apocalyptic version of Earth each with their own strentghs and weaknesses and each represent a single country of the United States Ish kinda sad this game didn't get a lot of praise. It woulda been somethin' right now. D: Any questions or thoughts? o:
Mortal Kombat is a worldwide popular fighting game series that started in 1992 to compete with the then hyped Street Fighter II. Mortal Kombat's fighting game engine was similar to its rival's, though it had some differences. It had introduced the popular techinque known as juggling where you could keep hitting an opponent in the air for more damage. However, MK's greatest innovation was the Fatality, a finishing move that could be performed by the victor of the match, which resulted in the winner ending the loser's life in a gruesome manner such as heart ripping and immolation. In 1995, a Mortal Kombat movie was released in theaters. Unlike other movies based on games, this particular one was exceptionally well-received even by those not familiar with the series.. The movie is based on the first game with some differences. It revolves around fighters chosen from around the world to participate in a battle of good versus evil known as Mortal Kombat. Liu Kang enters the tournament in order to avenge his fallen brother Chan Kang (Chow Kang in the video game), who was brutally murdered by the final boss of the game, Shang Tsung, an evil shapeshifting sorcerer who steals souls to maintain and sustain his life. Meanwhile, Sonya Blade of the Special Forces is hunting down a ruthless mercenary named Kano and tracks him down to the tournament alone. Finally, Johnny Cage, a 'washed up has-been' is given an invitation by an old friend to the tournament in order to confirm that his fighting prowess is indeed real. These warriors of Earth are guided by a dry-witted version of Raiden Unlike other video game films, the Mortal Kombat film stays completely true to the original storyline, though there are some differences, such as the appearance of three MKII characters: Jax, Kitana and the MKII version of Reptile. The fight scenes are marvelous and the storyline itself is solid. The movie even features Fatalities, which was quite different from the time considering that infamous elements from their video game counterparts weren't normally prominent. Several of the differences from the movie were later transferred to the game, such as Cage and Goro's rivalry as well as retconning Kano into an Australian-Japanese thug thanks to the late Trevor Goddard.. At the time, if people wanted a perfect movie version of a video game, Mortal Kombat was the movie to look forward to until Tomb Raider came by. Any thoughts or questions? o:
As a kid, I was sorta big fanatic of Star Wars. I thought it was teh most epic thing in mah life. XD Havin' only owned two games, Shadows of the Empire and Return of the Jedi for Gameboy, I've always had the desire and wish to use an X-Wing. That all came true and glorious with Star Wars Rogue Sqaudron, a game in 1998 released by Factor 5 for the N64 and PC. It's one of the many games that explore the 'Expanded Universe' section of the Star Wars world. And this game and its series as a whole focuses solely on the glorious battles fought by the Rebel Alliance's military force, Rogue Sqaudron The first game was quite a smashin' hit. It had awesome controls and impressive graphics in its time. The gameplay always takes place in the skies where you combat hundreds of Imperials piloting whatever TIE variants they had like Inteceptors and Bombers. The game has at least 10 playable vehicles to choose from, 2, of which can be unlocked by beating the games 10 normal missions in one run. Aside from the infamous X-Wing starfighter, you get to pilot the A-Wing stuntfighter and the special V-Wing Airspeeder. Other unlockable ships include the Millennium Falcon, a TIE Inteceptor and even a car D: There was a duo of secret, well hidden passwords that could unlock the N-1 Naboo Starfighter, a starfighter that appears in Episode I, The Phantom Menace. Even though it is supposedly an obsolete ship in the Star Wars timeline, it is easily the best one in the game. The craft was used a promotion to the prequel movies bein' made after the movie storylines had concluded with Episode VI. Due to the immense success of the first Rogue Squadron, a second one, Rogue Leader, was released on the Gamecube as a launch title in 2001. This particular one had missions based on the original trilogy, starting off with the Death Star attack and ending with the Battle of Endor. Most of the vehicles from the first game return with some new unlockable ships like like the Slave I and the promotional Jedi Starfighter used in Episode II: Attack of the Clones. As a launch title of the Gamecube, the graphics were and cutscenes were pretty dynamic and the controls felt much more better with a Gamecube controller. With the Gamecube's hardware, the game also includes short clips durin' menus for the fans to see The success continued even further with the third title in the series: Rebel Strike. Its more of a mix of the two previous games, but with improved, polished graphics. The game this time is set up into two character specific 'branched' Campaigns: Luke's and Wedge's. Luke's follows the original movies' storyline while Wedge's focuses on blank spaces of the Expanded Universe of Rogue Sqaudron. The game also introduces the game-exclusive TIE Hunter, whose designs are based on the X-Wing's. Unlike the previous two titles, the game now has ground based missions, allowing the player to take to the battle on foot, usin' blasters and bombs and some missions, allows the use of a Lightsaber. Perhaps the most significant change was the addition of a two-player option, which also includes a Co-Op version of the previous title Rogue Leader I have enjoyed the Rogue Squadron series in its entirety and I'd strongly suggest buyin' any of the three games if yer a Star Wars fan. It may not be a KOTOR game, but they're definitely must-haves, especially for nostalgia. Any questions or thoughts? o:
I'm quite curious as to how many people on this single board actually still believe in this outrageous theory about Tobi, the leader of the Akatsuki. This is a theory that was put to rest quite a long time ago when Tobi reveals himself to be Madara Uchiha, the man who set the Nine Tailed Fox against the Leaf Village and trained Itachi Uchiha in the true malevolent ways of the Sharigan in order to wipe out the entire clan, leavin' Sasuke left alive. However, when Tobi did reveal himself to be Madara, some had to be hard heads and tried to twist it around, sayin' he has Madara's powers when he clearly states he IS Madara. In a short amount of time, some fake 'scans' from the manga were posted on various sites of Tobi sayin' he is truely Obito Uchiha. The same thing happened with Minato bein' the Akatsuki leader, though that proved to be completely false since Minato had died usin' the Death Reaper Seal. The sole reason for this confusion of Obito bein' Tobi is for two reasons: 1: The similar spelling of the two names, that Tobi was only a mere coincidence bein' an anagram of Obito with one O bein' taken out. 2" The similar placing of the visible Sharigan eye which is on the right side of the face. However, this proves to be mere coincidence, since, in flashbacks, Madara has always had two eyes, and plucked out his own brother's to prevent from goin' blind. Furthermore, Obito's corpse is certainly no use to Madara, bein' for two reasons: -Obito never had a Mangekyou, nor the Mangekyou Sharigan on his body. Plus, Obito was not even born during the creation and rise of Konoha -Since obtainin' his brother's Mangekyou, Madara has become immortal. Yes, he's beatable, but definitely immortal as he has lived through the ages. As of this week 'Tobi' has at last removed the mask, but we will have to wait one more week before seein' the full face. Any thoughts or questions?
I've pretty ran solid out of ideas to draw, so now it's about time I go back into the charity business. XD Step right up and request for whatever ye wants, I'm just not gonna do the followin' -Genitals -Yaoi -Yuri All of that is specifically off limits cause I dun't feel like appeasin' the appetite of fangirls today. Forgive meh fer meh outburst earlier, although I still disagree with the system overall. Are only certain higher members able to increase/decrease rep at will or is everyone just able to go about ramparting on each other's gauges just for the stupidest reasons?
I've been around the RP boards, and no offense, but, while I seem to find most of the RPs on here a lil'...borin', XD, why hasn't anyone put up a sticky thread for created characters? o:
MM ZXA was pretty much the first Mega Man game I've played in a decade on a console and not an emulator since Mega Man X3. Advent is the sequel to the game Mega Man ZX, which takes place after the Zero series, which was a continuation of the X series. The ZX in the series title represents Zero and X the original protagonists. The motif is pretty much sentai and a way to bring together or fuse two characters to one. As the series takes place centuries after MMZ4, the beloved creations of Wily and Light, Zero and X, have died and now they live on as Biometal, or Livemetal in Japan. With a Chosen One, they allow the user to Megamerge/Rock On and transform into a Mega Man. As ZX focused on the gameplay of both X and Zero, ZX Advent plays like the X series. The game's unique Biometal Model A focuses on the gameplay of Axl, who had the ability to shapeshift, which is pretty much expanded in this game as the ability A-Trans. Each time a player defeats a boss (save for the last three), he/she copies their DNA and gives them the ability to transform into that boss. The ability of A-Trans effectively replaces the Megamerge used in ZX Previously, ZX had two characters to choose from, Vent (a male) and Aile (female) though neither character changes the overall gameplay at all. Advent allows the player to choose two completely different characters with their own backgrounds and unique gameplay: Grey, an amnesic male Reploid with great rapid fire and Ashe, a female human with slower fire rate but stronger firepower. Mega Man Model A has access to dual Busters. It's Weapon Energy comes in use for its unique Homing Shot which can be used for multiple opponents to hit at once. Aside from that, gameplay is pretty much the same, though Model O, which was based after Omega Zero, is replaced by Mega Man Model 'a', a 'Classic' 8-bit style version of Model A. The game is also occasionally told through cutscenes as well as some anime ones as well, though the difference being is that the game has a full dub cast. Any thoughts or questions? o:
It's about time I showed off meh stuff. In mah intro topic, you would already know by now I'm not: -SUPEROMGWTFBBQ fancy graphics sig maker -SUPEROMGWTFBBQ artist -Artist with a bigass ego No, I dun't have the fanceh, pretty stuff, but I have MS Paint stuff, though. A slime-based Chimera creature: ULQUIORRAAH! Tag team Shadow Waterfall, consistin' of an alternate universe Kia and a Shadow/Void demon known only as Yami: Dragon character Kouki Otogi: Soul Kia wants huggle! D: Mah Sonic characters, Kia the Polymorph and Kouniji the Hedgehog: I think that's it XD
At least almost everyone owns a game they still own and play to this very day whether it was the 20th or 21st century. That old game you just can ne'er ferget or put down at all o: For meh, it's Mortal Kombat Trilogy for the N64. Had it since 98, when we first got the N64 XD It's the game that really got me into the MK franchise since it was also the only MK game availible where ever I moved. XD Back when I was a kid, I had done everyone's Animality, Babality and Friendship, and nearly every Fatality, except Reptile's Acid Vomit. It was only when I was like 12 or somethin' around that I FINALLY did it. XD Around the same time, I did mah first Brutality, which was Raiden's Anyone else got an age old game? XD
I'd like to get this little pet peeve over with dub hatin'. XD At first, I thought it was a bit okay appreciatin' the Japanese more, but then it started annoy me to an extent XD. This is mostly spawnin' from YouTube where plethoras of comments at based on biting and gnawin' at the English dubs of their favorite anime Especially when most of those vids have positive-rated comments spitting on dubs with the like of saying dubs shouldn't exist or sayin' English sucks. There seems to be no logical reason behind this hatred. I'm guessing it's because they think it'll make them cool. If we never had dubs in the first place, anime wouldn't be mainstream. Most of these viewers only care about....the raw original. I mean, I can watch anime, as long as I understand what's goin' on, and I prefer dubs over subs because I really don't wanna sit through a whole episode readin' subtitles and unable to appreciate half of the animation going on. 4Kids may have had a long history of altering anime to an obnoxious extent, but they've proven they can do great as seen in their uncut DVDs.. It's just that the main problem is there is just WAY too much complaining about those dubs rather than appreciatin' them for the attempt of making them mainstream so your friends will know what the hell yer talkin' about. XD I mean, the original Japanese dialog is okay n' all and they excel in a lot of parts, but then again, I don't think the entire world's gonna want to hear someone scream like an ass or easily get lost in translation since the characters speak in a language almost completely foreign to them. There are just a lot more people out there who just wanna enjoy the show in a language they know cause it'll help the anime grow. Let's face it, there are a lot more people who aren't gonna be bothered to learn through a whole lotta classes just to understand one phrase nor are they gonna complain OVER AND OVER about a VO's skill Yer opinion, please. o:
I know that at least EVERYONE has an obsession should have that hunger and lust for a specific snack or food you just can't get enough of. The kinda stuff that makes you want more and more till it's all gone and then ye goes out to buy some more to enjoy it even more Mine would have to be Jello. Oh...I just love angelic taste and squiggly feel in mah mouth. XD
Okies, this little thingy has been naggin' me fer quite a while now. While I do enjoy fightin' Sephiroth and watch vids of how other players fare against him, it's the really stupid wannabes that get me. While waitin' fer the vids to fully load, I scroll down to the comments only to be faced with more than half of them bein' really posted by posers and such. I keep hearin' these guys beating the super boss at ridiculously low levels such as 40 or 30 somethin'. Now, there are some people who can and can't be Sephiroth at certain levels, but it all depends on their fighting style. Me, I just whack away with meh Keyblade with Limit Breaks. No magic used whatsoever. Lowest level I've ever beaten him at was 58 and the first time I beat him was around 90. That doesn't instantly make someone a bad player at all. However, we have these idiots who bark and hiss and scowl at people's vids, bragging about how they can beat this tough boss in low levels without actually giving any proof. The only people with bragging rights are the people I see beating Terra and Sephiroth at level 1 with ACTUAL proof they can do and they don't even shout in people's faces, but instead give advice I'm just wonderin' how many other people may have been subjected to this immature behavior. o:
This should be mah final request fer now. There are handful of uber codes I found on a site I want to be able to port them from GC version to the PS2 version. I did download the Deltamaker thing posted on the one of the pinned topics but I don't have the offset for the game. I'll take of the conversion mahself but I just need these following codes ported: Game Speed Mod: Z2CV-XFGU-CH6D4 G4GQ-4NUJ-9HY81 5ABA-8NBK-60PYH 26VV-UVWE-B0MGM T023-19P7-YQK18 4X1U-5EX7-Q2682 EWDZ-A97Y-J0QF8 WRHK-68PB-398WW 81AF-5FDU-4C7QC TX2H-J4U7-0U981 R6WK-EV0Q-1Y6TG Shadow Color Mods: (The RRGGBBII/IIRRGGBB represents the nth color value. Yeah decided I'd first put this lil' question thingy. Does anyone have any codes for Shinobi (PS2) that might be of some use? CodeJunkies has okay codes, but I want codes that give actual unlimited X things. The Health and Shuriken codes work fine, but I need additional codes 1: One that locks the Slash Gauge at maximum at all times (thus, allowing the Charge Slash attack to be used indefinitely) 2: One for infinite Makimono (Ninjutsu) spell usage If you can, can ye put yer coding prowess to use and unveil? I maybe able to repay ye somehow. D: Oh, and these are ARMAX codes I need for the NTSC region
Anyone whose been watchin' the Dragon Ball series, or at least have watched everything would know about the myth that is Dragon Ball AF. Dragon Ball AF started out as a doujinshi (or whatever it spelled, it's a Japanese fan comic) which people mistook for an actual continuation because the art closely mirrored Akira Toriyama's (the guy who made the series). But what really made it spiral out of control was a convincing image of Goku in the next stage of Super Saiyan evolution: Super Saiyan 5 with the Dragon Ball AF logo. The image itself is what AF was to revovle around. Akira himself declared that GT was the last one and concluded the series but people were still convinced this was real. And so, people went to create fan art of this fictional series. All of the AF rumors centered around the SSJ5 Goku, which is depicts him with SSJ3-esque white hair, fur and tail. According to some other rumors, this form supposedly turns Goku evil and some such. Most of the rumors were about the Super Saiyan evolution in which some characters do obtain the 4th stage such as Gotenks and Gohan. There were also fan produced images of new fusions such as the somewhat popular Vegtenks, the fusion of Vegeta and his son, Trunks. The story itself has had many interpretations by many fans as to what would actually happen which would lead the way to Mary Sue/Gary-Stu characters. The 'official' art for Dragon Ball AF consists only of either fan art or existing anime stills and official renders for the DBZ movies which are mostly poorly done. The reason why this still goes on is because of the newer fans who believe that this will be an actual series. Ultimately, Dragon Ball AF is either a fan comic or a fanfic as Akira has confirmed that the series is over (and has been over for a decade), but only the new fans will be ultimately fooled into thinking this is an upcomin' reality
Y'know, it had only been a few months to realise how much the KH fandom emphasizes on theories. I mean absolutely no disrespect. Seriously. But, whenever an organization is introduced into a franchise, theories begin poppin' up by the fans. Sometimes these theories are sensible, but other times, they can be downright ridiculous and illogical. For instance, there's Naruto. Like KH, this series has its villanous organization known as the Akatsuki. Almost all of the speculations have been laid down to rest at this point. One of the biggest theories was Pein bein' the alter ego of the titular character's father, Minato Namikaze.. Even before the truth was confirmed about Pein, this seemed rather ridiculous. There was no logical way for Minato to even be alive after havin' done that Death Reaper Seal technique which kills its user. But there ya go, fans ASSUME this because of the hairstyle similarities, just like with the recent Terra/Xehanort theory. >.> Y'know, I wouldn't be surprised if theories like that were secretly ABOUT the hairstyle. XD Now only months ago that Pein was confirmed to be one of Jiraiya's students BEFORE Minato. The other theory, which should be dead now is the Tobi/Obito conflict. This all actually sparked from several edited pages of the manga.. This is all really bein' kept alive by mostly fangirls but it's been long confirmed that Tobi is Madara Uchiha. OBITO IS DEAD, DAMMIT! DX And then there's Dragon Ball AF. Only new fans of the legendary series believe that this is in the works. No fan could ferget the infamous image of the Super Saiyan 5 Goku. But beyond that, everything else you hear about it is consistently inconsistent because it's either someone's fanfic, a little lawlz thing, or just to fool the newcomers 'And not's let forget about the Reiko/Shao Kahn dispute. The argument that lasted for years until Mortal Kombat Deception where it was revealed that the former was an obsessive fanboy. This thing was generated by Reiko's ending in Mortal Kombat 4 where he is seen sittin' on a throne with Kahn's helmet dropping onto his face and that the Gameboy version flat out states that Reiko was indeed Shao Kahn. XD I ne'er actually knew about that till I surfed around I'm not much of a theory person. They're nice and all, but then again, I dun't see a lot of really good supportive theories. All I mostly see are ideas generated from similar hairstyles and name spellings and such. I mean absolutely no offense but, I dun't wanna see a theory that spirals outta control
