With regards to this, I have to say I'm suprised at how many fanboyish votes have been made considering It's not about the character's reputation, but the characters performance. It's not a supposed to be a popularity vote from what I can gather, and while some of the characters chosen can put up a fight, I'm sure a character like Sora wouldn't hold as much of a chance if his stats are on par with the opponents, and if it's a computer that's controlling him. But what do I know right? 1. Sephiroth - He probably has the most variable of attacks, which can be an advantage or a disadvantage depending on his opponent and his coding. Most of his attacks are combo relative. Heartless Angel if performed the way it should would instantly lower the opponent's health to a single hit point. Even without that move, he can still gain a good lead on an opponent with the Meteor spell, since he's invincible during that time period. 2. Digital Roxas - From what I can see in the videos, his attacks are not quite as varied as Seph's, however he has a good mix of range and melee tactics. His Desperation move acts like a nerfed version of Sephiroth's meteors. The ability to throw those light pillars with each swing could be devastating too. 3. Cloud - If everyone's stats are equalized, then Cloud probably has the best meleeing chance of everyone if he engages the warriors spirit combo. Throughout the entire phase of that attack, he's impervious to a counter assault, which allows him to score some easy hits, depending on whether it's ally Cloud or Enemy Cloud would determine how long this attack lasts, and how frequent it hits. Either way, his only downside is the lack of any range tactics. (Unless you count Climb Hazard which is more of a one shot radial attack) 4. Digital Saix - If he's still capable of performing his berserk mode, then his attacks have quite a degree of radius and can be performed consecutively, allowing for a relentless offense. Even when he's not buzzin' on moon rays, he can still launch a decent offensive, crossing wide gaps, and throwing his weapon. Besides, he's invincible during his Desperation Move as well I think. 6. Final Form/Limit Form Sora - I should think if Sora would stand even a remote chance against anyone, it would only be in his Final Form, which has some ridiculous combo attacks, or Limit Form, which has the Ars Arcanum,Sonic Rave, and Strike Raid. I will in turn give Normal Sora some credit though, if he could manage to perform the Trinity Limit, which makes him invincible 3 times in a row, then he might just have everyone else beat or on par. I recollect at some point in the thread you may be doing something about the invincibility perks of some of the character's abilities, if that same case is applied to these characters, then I would think the entire stack just got shuffled. Same with any nerfing of abilities (Like Making Trinity Limit only hit once). Whatever the case may be, I'm definately looking forward to this, and I hope people will start considering their choices for more than their sword size..
Roxas was created from Sora, Sora is the reincarnation of Venn. Ventus = Sky Sora = Sky Coincidence? I think not. I don't think Roxas is the re-incarnation of Venn, Sora is, I dunno why Roxas looks like him, probably to strengthen that theory. If that's the case, then we can assume Riku is the reincarnation of Terra, and Kairi is the re-incarnation of Aqua. Namine is supposedly Kairi's nobody, however that was never verified, if it's to be true, then that means your nobody doesn't have to look like your original self, OR your re-incarnate (In this case Aqua) They also state that there was a 14th member to the organization that was a girl, if that was Kairi's in fact nobody (it's a possibility since Namine may not be), then it's possible that the Nobody would look like Aqua. Lastly, Riku never had a nobody, therefore we don't know what his nobody would look like, however a theory would be it'd look like Terra, which completely throws me off because they look so different it's ridiculous. ~Dragon
SPOILERS!!! (-.-') Zack died trying to protect Cloud... At the end of Crisis Core he was seen dying and in a bloody mess after just killing like... a crap load of Shinra soldiers. Venn - 15 Aqua - 15/16 Terra - 17/18 Old Guy - Over 9000 *shot* 60+?
Sephiroth may not have given it all he had, but what's to say that Terra did? Sephiroth could take you down with a single combo, or with Sin Harvest, Terra could take you down with virtually every attack in his arsenal, he didn't need to to combo you. Sephiroth might have a long *** sword, but Terra's keyblade can shape shift, and become not just longer, but BIGGER than Sephiroth's. Also Terra's attacks over all are just bigger, and more badassier... Terra ftw... ~Dragon
In the Final Mix vids, (The Subbed ones) Axel questions whether or not Roxas has a heart, and Roxas can't say for sure. So maybe he does, maybe he doesn't, stranger exceptions have happened. Also, I don't think Axel ever had real feelings. >>'
In order to unlock the Paradox Hades Cup, you need to max out all the summons, all the drive forms, complete every world, and I think you need the Ultima Weapon. I was already maxed out at level 99 when I did it, so yeah it was cake for me sadly D:
My first play through was on Easy mode, I obtained everything you can get in that game except for completing the journal, and maxed out at level 99, I beat Sephiroth at level 69. My second run was on standard mode, I didn't max out or grab anything in this mode. I managed to beat Sephiroth at level 47, and beat the game at level 51. Third run was Proud mode, I didn't max out or set goals once again, I did Proud mode mostly for more challenging boss battles, Which most of them I saved as separate files. Killed Sephiroth at level 49, and beat the game at 53. My Current run is once again on Proud mode, however I've restricted myself to the use of only Keyblades with an Attack or magic value of 3 or lower. No Healing Spells, No Party (Place them on Sora attack), No Items, and various other restrictions during certain points, such as no items, or no reflect spell, etc. I just started, so I'm still in Mulan's world at level 8. I want Final Mix+ to come to America so I can pwn Critical mode DD:
When he said "I see. That's why." I doubt it had anything to do with his skills, rather it was for plot purposes. I dunno for sure though. My opinion is with Roxas, I say Sora got lucky, and Roxas let his guard down long enough for Sora to take advantage of that. All is fair in love and war though, so I suppose Sora's actions were justified. However if Sora hadn't caught him off guard Roxas would've definitely won that fight.
