So, we have three friends of mine. We will call them Guy #1, Guy #2, and Girl. You with me so far? Good. So, Guy #2 is going out with Girl. And Guy #2 breaks up with Girl, even though they still love each other, for reasons that I am making no attempt to understand. Girl becomes depressed, emotional and overall in bad mental health, as teenage girls are apt to do in this situation. So, my friends and I notice that Guy #1 and Girl already know each other and would go great together, so I do what I do best with social interactions. I "manipulate" them psychologically so that they will go out with each other. Guy #1 asks Girl out, and she says yes. So they get along fabulous and wonderful and everything is made of SUNSHINE AND MOTHERFUCKING RAINBOW PONIES FROM THEN ON OUT. Spoiler ಠ_ಠ Spoiler Of course it didn't. It never does. So about 16 hours pass, and Guy #2 decides to spill the fact that he still loves Girl to none other than the school's gossip. I know enough about stuff to learn this pretty quickly, and of course I have to get involved in other people's shit AGAIN. First, I make sure that Guy #2 would take Girl back. Then, I let Girl know NOT to break up with Guy #1, he's batshit insane suicidal as is. The last step is to get on the bus and let Guy #1 know gently, explaining it to him in a way that won't make him want to kill himself. This is where things go horribly wrong. The gossip got to him before I did OF COURSE, so when we get on the bus he's in tears. He is one of my best friends, and I didn't want to see him like this, so it's equally as hard for me. We sit on the bus and I console him for a full hour while he cries nonstop. Eventually, he stops and tells me a story like the norm, and I believed that he was okay then. From what I've heard, he threatened to kill himself anyway that night. Guy #1 broke up with Girl over text messaging. And here's just the wonderful icing on the fml cake; Girl refuses to make any contact with Guy #2 on the grounds that she gets really emotional whenever she does. So I can't help but blame myself for all of this. I try to help people out in the school, and usually I do really well and it helps to keep some form of order. But then I try to help out my friends, and of course it resulted in emotional breakdowns and attempted suicide.
