don't run fusion gate..its bad. backfield problem? people are running more hand traps than normal traps..you don' ever play this game anymore,and keep saying things like this...OMG. Of Cours,this is important.You need to know the rulings,and your going to understand more the game,and make smart moves. Decks #Decide your playing style This is important, as it determines how people would look at you as a duelist.Are you a rash duelist who would rapidly summon, attack and activate cards? Or are you the deep thinker who would analyze your hand and field before making a move? Or maybe the duelist that would remove cards from play so your opponent cannot use them again? think about it,and you will find a deck who suits you. #Use a Deck with 40 Cards. Sorry,But this is the thing i think its the most important on making a deck.All the Decks needs consistency,and making a deck with so many cards,can give you the wrong cards,and you WILL draw Bad,Every Duel.The less cards in you deck, the higher your probability of getting what you need. #Don't Put Randow Cards on your deck! All cards on your deck MUST have a purpose on your deck.ALL Cards,no exceptions! #Number of Monsters/Spells/Traps This depends a LOT on what deck you're using.i Recommend you to use 20 Monsters,13-15 Spells,7-5 Traps.I used to play Stun builds,with more control,using a lot of traps,and summoning Beaters to win the game.Now i'm playing chaos decks,who use at least 28-30 monsters.i Love it,because i play "Hand Traps",Like Veilers,MAxx C,and unlike Normal traps,this things can't be negated so easily. #Missplays. Missplay = Win If you missplay,you're probably going to lose.Think About what you're going to do,look at your cards,look at your graveyard,keep thinking every turn at least 7 Seconds.you will see ,how you're going to make better moves every duel. #Don't Waste Your Cards Don't Waste Your Cards,Like Dark Holing a facedown monster (p_p),reborning a weak monster,or heavy storming only one facedown card on the field (p_p).Don't go for Game so Quickly,your opponent can have a facedown Torrential,or Mirror Force,OR Even Gorz on Hand.This can Cost you the duel. Tip: When your opponent Maxx C You,STOP,Don't Continue making special summons and think you have game,that is so wrong..your opponent WILL draw a Veiler/Gorz/Trago/Fader Etc.then next turn = gg,even if you survive,you will lost because he will have more hand advantage than you. #Bad Hands You Must Make your deck,thinking in a way to NEVER get bad Hands.Try to Think This Way: "MY Bad Hands aren't bad,they only make me play in a different style" Cards For Atk/Def Put cards on your deck who can be agressive,or defensive at the same time.
