"I guess we could do that." Toji said as he downloaded the files to a flashdrive.
"It's my father's notes on his research. I planned on deleting it all."
Toji opened the secured vault and got what he needed. He then got onto one of the computers and went through some files.
Toji walked as quickly as he could through the lab, not wanting to look at the various experiments on shadows.
Toji led the way to the lab.
"Let's get going now, unless you want to finish the cure first, Zain."
Yuki shuddered when she saw this.
"No, I have to go. The piece of equipment I need is in a secured area of the lab. I've got the code to open it."
Toji told Yuki what happened with the sample of her blood. "So you can't tell me anything about it." "Not with my current equipment. I'd have to snag something from my father's lab, but even thinking of setting foot in that house of horrors makes me sick."
Toji was baffled at what he saw in the blood. He couldn't determine anything with his current equipment.
Toji began his experiments on the sample of Yuki's blood.
"I was going to do some research on the sample. You told me before that you wanted to know exactly what gave your wings, remember Yuki?" "Yeah, I guess I did tell you that."
"I guess I'm glad I stored that vial of Yuki's blood." "When did you get a sample of my blood, Toji, and why?"
"So what was missing from your so called cure?"
"He can state his business just as well on the porch."
"That all depends on who you are." Toji said.
Toji went to answer the door.
"Please don't remind me of that, Zain."
"I did, for once in my life."
Yuki walked downstairs and started to eat.
