"Only 95%? Must be losing my touch" Hunter responded, the comment about his personality barely even fazing the guy. He glanced at Adelina and noticed she seemed a little upset, but that wasn't his problem. He did however make a mental note to leave her alone for the moment. After all, she'd given him food like he had ever so politely requested. Just as he was about to leave, Olivia piped up with her potion idea. She had a point really, the competition would be a way to show that he was better than Zack.

"That's a brilliant idea, Witch. I can prove I'm better and faster, and we get to test out your potion. Damn colour me impressed, a potion that changes your scent to that of a titan? They wouldn't be able to smell the human on us! I didn't even think something like that was possible, holy crap. Why has nobody ever thought of that before?" Hunter exclaimed, before grabbing the potion and holding it into the sky like a prize, gleeful expression on his face. It then changed to an unimpressed look as he hurled the bottle to the ground, shattering it and causing its contents to go on the ground.

"Right, they have! They just realized it is entirely useless! Because titans don't use their sense of smell to go and kill you, they just kill you because you're smaller than they are and edible! Masking the scent does nothing" Hunter said, before stepping over to Olivia and giving her a firm pat on the back. "Yeah, fantastic idea. Almost got Zacky boy here killed. Maybe I should've let you go through with it" he said before turning around and wandering towards the door. "If Zack still thinks he's the hottest shit around then he can come find me and figure some other way out. Cheers for the apple, Adelina. Olivia, maybe you should try and create a potion that brings back the dead for fairy girl there" he stated as he left. He meant it as a serious suggestion but god damn did he sound rude. He almost felt bad about it. Almost.​

With every word Aedion spoke, Hunter found his attention span dwindling more and more. Eventually he wasn't even listening, he just started watching people as they walked past. As soon as Aedion finished speaking, he turned his back on him. "It ain't a matter of pride, captain cocky, it's a matter of survivin'. You can hate me all you like, but you've seen the amount of people I've pissed off and gotten into fights with. If there's one thing I know how to do, it's survive. Keep arguing with me, see how much sympathy you get from our enemies" the male said. He began walking away, but stopped after three steps. "And if you keep talking like that, it's not just them that you're going to have to watch out for" he threatened, before continuing onwards. It wasn't long before he found Ana. With a grumble Hunter leaned against a wall and crossed his arms. "Ana, right? Sorry you had to hear....and I guess see that. That guy rubs me the wrong way. I might be a dick, in fact I know I am, and I cause all sorts of trouble, but I can tell you right now that if anyone's got a chance of getting us through this suicide mission alive, it's me. Just thought you should know that" Hunter said, his voice low and quiet. He hated apologizing more than anything.​

Hunter chuckled a little when the woman, Veera, asked if he was actually Carlos of Dahaka. "No, but I use the name so much that I really hope there is a Carlos of Dahaka. If he exists, then boy has he had some adventures let me tell you. Lets see, if memory serves correctly...then Carlos has been sighted at many brothels, he's bought at least six slaves, and I remember one time he got drunk and laid claim to the iron throne. Now that, that was an adventure. Three drunken women were impressed until they found out I was full of it, but by that time the deed was done and they were under the impression that they had slept with the future king. The looks on their faces when I told them otherwise.." Stefano said, laughing to himself quietly. It then occured to him that maybe Veera would actually appreciate a name. And she had offered him food. "My name's Stefano, and I hail from house Ragnarok. But nobody calls me that, and I don't think you want to keep calling me Carlos, unless you feel like sleeping with the future king too? No? Didn't think so. Call me Hunter" the man explained with a grin.


He had no idea where he was, but Tobias didn't care. He was unable to move, and that was the important thing. He'd thought he'd escaped the guards, and he had, but apparently someone else wanted him dead or at the very least captured. That part didn't surprise him, not when he had as many enemies as he did. What did surprise him was the fact he hadn't been killed on the spot. A blessing or a curse? Depending on how much trouble he was about to be in, he was probably going to find out. He heard a voice though, and slowly he opened his eyes only to see someone there taking off his gag. At first he thought maybe this was the one that had kidnapped him, but then common sense kicked in. She was probably just as screwed as he was. He did his best to nod. For now, he would play victim and not murderous conniving prick. "Y-yeah, I'm alright I think. Just...scared. Do you know where we are?" he asked. Maybe it wasn't the best idea to lie to her but hey he had to have some fun.​

"No, I wasn't appointed leader. I was just told to choose the teams and figure out what the hell we do. I wasn't made the leader, but I may as well have been. I only drooled a little, and what the **** is wrong with that? I see something I want and I drool, you got a problem with that? I ain't going to get anyone killed by going on this mission, in fact I am going to carry your sorry ass, but I'll only be able to do that if you pull your head out of it first and let me do my goddamn job. I don't know if you've noticed, but killing people is kind of my job. I get paid to do it, and I do a damn good job of it, while you sit around practicing all your gentlemanly crap. We do things my way, we live. We do things your way, and we might live but the process of doing it is going to suck so bad we'll wish we hadn't" Hunter growled, his voice rising in volume slightly. He'd rather put up with a billion Lances than put up with this crap. Actually, when he thought about it, maybe he wasn't that annoyed with this situation. Two Lances maybe. Maybe one and a half. Okay, Aedion wasn't quite as bad as Lance. But damn he was close.​

Akari sat down on the opposite side of the table to the king. She was a little surprised neither of the two they'd run into had followed, but she could deal with it. "Heck yeah I am. I was thinking of messing around with the gas canisters used for the 3DMG when the scouts get back to see if I can't reduce the rate they burn through their gas without reducing the propulsion they get from the release of it. Then it got me thinking of what they do when it runs out. Their mobility is considerably lower when that happens, but I was thinking that if they had some way to get higher it'd help a lot. But without gas they can't do that right? So what I was considering was making a pair of gauntlets for each of the scouts to wear when they go out on a mission, and then by moving their hand in a certain position it'll cause a tiny hook to fire. It won't go very far, it'll be only about this distance" Akari explained, holding her hands less than a metre apart to show the distance.

"It'll be pressurized normally so that the moment they do the movement it releases that pressure and then retracts when they do the movement again. The hook will stab into whatever surface they're facing at the time, then when it retracts it allows them to re-position their hand to repeat the process. Effectively, it'll give them the ability to climb walls, buildings, trees, heck even titans if they wanted to. It'll just take a bit of practice, then they'll be flying up walls like they didn't even need the 3DMG to begin with!" the girl exclaimed excitedly. It wasn't hard to tell she liked talking about her ideas, not when she did it as much as she did. "That's the theory, anyway. Putting it into practicality might take a bit" she added with a quick laugh.


"Wasn't planning on it" Drake said quickly, before he heard the sound of a flare being fired. Spinning around quickly, he saw a purple flare in the sky. Purple...that meant an emergency. That wasn't good in the slightest. He quickly ran over to his horse and got on top of it. "Amber, wait here, I'll be b-" he said, shortly before the princess turned into her animal form and dashed away. Spurring his horse onwards, he began hurrying in the direction the flare had come from, the worst case scenario already playing out in his mind as he approached the area quickly.

Well, it wasn't the worst case scenario when he'd gotten there, but it was by no means good. Out of the seven scouts that were there counting himself, there were only four standing. Knowing what his scouts were like, that meant that they were dead. The princess was fine from the looks of it and fighting fiercely, but gods...three of them were dead. Plenty of titan corpses around, with only four standing. Since when were titans co-ordinated enough to plan an ambush of this magnitude? "What the hell happened here?" he asked. The friendly tone he'd been speaking to them in before was gone to be replaced with an incredibly serious, demanding tone. He'd lost three people, three comrades, three of his friends. He should have been with them. It'd been a mistake to send them off on their own. They were good, but he was supposed to be their leader..how could he lead if he was going to send them off to their death?

Drake gripped his dual swords tightly and fired a hook straight at one of the titans. It was too late for Frank, Bill and Carla, but he could still save the others. He would save the others. The hook stuck straight into the shoulder of the nearest titan and immediately Drake dove off of the horse and began retracting his hook slightly, swinging straight towards the titan. He let it go loose a little as he neared the titan, before swinging underneath its huge armpit and upwards on the other side, before de-activating his 3DMG's hook and causing the device to snap back towards him as Drake launched himself skyward. He got a good vantage point from the air for a few seconds, taking in the positions of the four titans, only moments prior to gravity taking hold and dragging him downwards. The leader of the scouts hurtled downwards at a frightening speed, and as he neared the titan he spun with both of his blades, cutting straight through the nape of the titan and slaying it.​

Stopping spinning for a moment, he quickly got his bearings and fired the hook straight into the front of the neck of the titan. He immediately retracted once more, flying straight towards the titan. Lazily the titan nearest to Gale swung his arm out, to which Drake responded by de-activating his 3DMG just a little too late and slammed straight into the titan's hand. The titan then closed his hand around Drake and began trying to crush him, but the leader wasn't beaten. He stuck one of his swords into the inside of the titan's hand and stood it horizontally, preventing the titan from closing his hand entirely for the moment. He took a moment to catch his breath, and then he leaped upwards, giving his sword a swift kick and sending it spinning alongside him. The scout caught the blade in mid-air just as the titan finished closing his hand and swung at him once more, but the creature was too slow. Drake flipped himself over in midair and then fired his hook straight into the titan's eye. The titan recoiled, temporarily half-blinded as his opponent dashed along his arm using the hook to pull him forward. The hook then snapped back into the device that shot it as Drake got near and then swung one of his blades with a mighty blow, embedding it slightly in the front of the titan's neck. He then dove off of the titan and held tightly onto the sword, using it as a mobile handhold that went around the back of the neck as its wielder did, before Drake used his other blade to slice apart the chunk of flesh that served as the lifepoint of the titan, killing it.​

With that done, the leader of the scouts fired his hook straight at the tree that Gale and Veera had used before and he himself landed neatly on the branch. "Keep fighting!" he yelled out, as though people weren't going to fight without the order. While he was getting his breath back, he looked forward at one of the titans approaching Amber and saw that Susanne had spotted the same titan and was headed towards it by foot. What was she doing? Sacrificing mobility like that was not a good idea, she should be using the 3DMG. Then he saw it. Dangling from her was a crumpled up set of 3DMG, presumably damaged from a titan attack. And she was still attacking. Drake couldn't be prouder.

Unfortunately, pride did nothing as the foot of the titan slammed straight into Susanne, sending her crashing away and into the base of the tree that Drake was at. He didn't need to look down to know that impact would've been fatal. The blood splatter on the ground a bit away as well as the sickening crunch had been more than enough of an indication. Bloodlust filled Drake's bones, and without a word he held up the part of his 3DMG that fired the hook and aimed it straight at the titan's skull.

Shooting the hook, it slammed straight into Drake's adversary's head and no sooner had that happened than the leader was flying straight at it, the anger evident in his face and easily heard in the triumphant roar he let out as he soared towards the titan. He landed on the top of its bald head and detached the claw, before driving both of his swords straight into the titan's skull. The titan made no noise, but it did move its hands up to stop Drake, and that was what the warrior had been waiting for. Pulling the swords out, he leaped up and above the arms and swung both blades down beside him, cutting off both hands and leaving stumps to batter him with. Following up the movement, Drake stabbed one sword into the skull and then allowed himself to fall forward, letting his feet hand off of the handle of the blade as he released a vicious slash that cut the nape of the titan clean off.

As the titan's corpse began falling, Drake quickly got himself up and onto the skull, pulling out his blade and glancing around to make sure everyone else that had been alive a minute ago still were. The corpse hit the ground with a thump and created a huge dust cloud. Everyone looked fine for the moment, but he was aware of how quickly that could change. Turning and glaring straight at the titan, he took aim with the hook and prepared to fire. If nobody ended the one remaining titan, he was going to end it in a way that would be bloody and gruesome enough many may be frightened of that side of him, he was sure of it.​

I quite like this idea, and were I not in so many RPs I would be all for it. Almost makes me wish I hadn't signed up for others, but best of luck with this and I hope to see it take off.

Hunter just kind of stood there for a moment. He'd been about to push the issue of food further when Zack had turned up, then when Adelina had offered to get him an apple to tide him over that witch chick he could never remember the name of had turned up and said he'd better not be causing any trouble. "Nah, there's no trouble here. Well, not unless this guy here keeps butting in. All I was after was some food and he just rocks up and decides to be even more of an ass than me, and that's saying something" he said, jerking a thumb in Zack's direction. "Besides, it's not like you don't crave trouble. You thrive on it, witch. Can't tell you the amount of times you've tried to pull a fast one on me, so don't make yourself out to be some kinda saint. The only one here even close to that would be Adelina, but even then that's only because her cooking is pretty darn good" the man said, defending himself like a boss.


Akari flashed a grin towards Tessa and Griffin as the king left. She was in a pretty good mood after finishing her invention, or at least making some good progress; she always was. The fact that the king himself had complimented her cloak in a big way certainly didn't take away from it either. "I sure could use the help. The more people I can test this thing with, the more accurate my results will be and the easier it'll be to make the necessary changes. I don't know about you two, but I like the idea of being able to hide from the titans. Oh, where are my manners" the girl said, before wiping her left hand on her shorts slightly and then holding it out first to Tessa and then to Griffin. Once the customary greetings were done, she retracted her hand. "Akari Hirano, best tinkerer in the village. If you guys ever need something, I'm your girl!" she exclaimed, before glancing in the direction of the king. "I really should be getting going though. If you want to help out, meet us at the training grounds after lunch! See you later!" Akari said excitedly, only moments before she raced off towards the king to follow him.


Drake did blush a little when Amber spoke to him like that. He couldn't deny that he found her attractive, but he wasn't entirely sure anything would ever become of them. As she was walking away, Drake remembered what he'd been told by the king. However, if he told her that it was specifically the king that had sent her back, she'd never go. "If you want something more fun to do, I've got a couple of ideas. You could always join me on my mission, we're supposed to go and scout out the walled city. Could be a little dangerous and exciting, and there might be a titan or two in the mix. I'm pretty sure your father would kill me if he knew I'd just invited you to that instead of sending you back, but what do you say?" the scout leader asked. He hated the idea of inviting Amber to a dangerous situation almost as much as her father did, but if she was interested in messing around with people she wouldn't go straight back to the village, so the safest solution was to take her with them. Besides, he was fairly sure he could handle a couple of titans. If he'd managed to do it at 15, he could sure as hell do it now.​

Standing as tall as he was able, Hunter towered above Adelina. She had suggested he helped, and while he was hungry he wasn't that hungry. "An hour? What the hell am I supposed to do until then? You're a fairy, go and magick something up for me. Some kind of big sandwich or a steak or something like that. It should be easy, I mean that is your job right?" he asked, getting straight to the point.


Akari stopped what she was doing immediately when the king walked in and jumped a little, nearly dropping the equipment on the ground. "Your majesty!" she exclaimed. When he spoke and explained what was going on and then asked if she wanted to see the results for herself, Akari listened closely. She had respect for the king; something she didn't have for a whole lot of people. "Hmm, sure! Field tests are a great way to see what I have to do to improve it. I'd love to see it" the girl responded at last.

It was at that moment that Akari remembered what exactly the king had requested. He'd asked for some kind of equipment that could help the scouts stay safe from the titans. That was her project, her baby. Luckily for the king, she'd been thinking of something like that for quite some time. "One moment" the tinkerer said as she turned and walked into her room. She emerged only a moment later, carrying a grey cloak. It looked like a typical cloak, but within it there were tiny nanomachines; it was a work of technological genius, really.

"Looks like just a regular cloak right? I've had this thing being worked on for about two months now. Had the idea when I was watching how the titans act. They seem to go off of sight and not smell, so why not take away their sight? This thing messes with the light around the person when they activate it. You press this little button here" she said, pointing to a button on the inside of the cloak, "and it'll start doing its thing. To any of us it'll only look like there's a slight distortion, like a blur almost but only if you really focus on it. The titans aren't the brightest though, so you'll be completely invisible to them. It's stretchy enough so that it can expand to cover your entire body when you push the button, then when you push it again it'll de-activate and retract back to where it was before. Pretty neat huh? It's only a prototype though, I haven't tested it against an actual titan yet. If it works, I could probably have another one ready in about...hmmm...a week? How's that sound?" Akari asked with a toothy grin. The girl was proud of her work and it showed.


Drake was walking along when suddenly the horses began rearing up as a huge feline appeared in the center of their group. Drake managed to hold onto the reigns, not falling off of the horse despite its panicked movements. Glancing around to make sure his scouts were okay, he noticed that about half of them had fallen onto their butts. Nimbly Drake hopped off of his own horse and landed on the ground before turning his attention to the fae before them. He recognised her immediately. "No need to panic, guys, she's not going to bite. Well, not much. Get back on your horses. Veera, you know where the walled city is, right? How about you take point for the moment? Give me, oh I don't know, five minutes. I'll be right with you" he stated. He hated the idea of sending Veera to lead towards the city given how uncertain she always seemed, but of all the scouts he led she was the one he trusted the most. She'd proven herself several times and she could keep focused on the objective when it was required; she was a natural leader in his eyes, really.

Alright, lets see if you can beat me this time he thought to himself. He didn't draw his sword, simply watching his opponent. Circling around her a little, he waited for a moment for her to jump. The moment she did, he rolled quickly to the side, but apparently she'd seen it coming for he felt her paws on his shoulders as he was forced to the ground. He hit the ground with a light thud. "Well, all you had to do was ask" he said, before quickly realizing what he'd said and causing his face to turn a bright shade of scarlet. Pulling himself together he summoned all of his strength and rolled the great cat off of him, before continuing the movement and turning the tables so it was he that was pinning her down. "You're going to have to be quicker than that, your highness" he said. Though Flame was his friend, Drake knew when formalities were in order, and in his mind they were almost always needed unless she insisted otherwise.​

Shane used telepathic combat!​

Gaius used Quick Blitz. He flew at Sheeptard and punched their foe straight in the horns, cracking two of them. It did 5 damage, but with strength, speed and weapon it did 68 damage!

Ra used Binding Strike. He swung his magical staff thing and clobbered the poor *******, dealing 20 damage, but with strength, speed, magic and weapon it did 82 damage!

Veilen used Fire dash. His sword became engulfed in the flames of hell itself as he launched himself directly at the sheep king, dealing 25 damage but with speed, magic and weapon it did 57 damage!

Thomas used Sliding Dash. Faster than the speed of light (which is impressive given his mediocre speed stat) Thomas slammed into Sheeptard, dealing 18 damage, but with speed and I'm assuming weapon (can't be ****ed to figure it out okay) it did 36 damage!

Rennette used Barrier Surge. Cloaking herself in an impenetrable shield, she began glowing as she rocketed straight into their wooly foe, dealing 15 damage but with defence it did 26 damage! The glow retained, keeping her invincible for the round as she blocked for Gaius!

Charlotte used Fire Surge. Her body began radiating with the flames of justice themselves before she slammed into the roast lamb with the force of a meteor, dealing 30 damage but with defence and magic she did 48 damage! She then allied with her flame bro, protecting Gaius despite the other guardian beating her to it!

All together, the party inflicted 317 damage with their completely legitimate and not rigged at all rolls! Sheeptard's defence also conveniently reduced 0 of that damage!

HOWEVER

Sheeptard had an ace up his sleeve the whole time. Due to everyone attacking him at the same time, his second chance and once more ability kicked in, keeping the prick alive at 1 hp! What are the odds of that happening?

Assault and Baahttery: The Sheep King plucks a lamb from the earth itself and slams it into his chest with supreme, manly gusto, causing the lamb to stick to his woolly awesomeness and provide a temporary meatshield, and nobody can ever take that away from it.

Unstoppable Fleece: Despite his manly ego, Sheeptard is a little....sheepish, and is quite easily startled. Each attack landed on him has a 5% chance to engulf the attacker in the fluffiest wool imaginable, reducing the damage on their next attack by 50%.

Lambassador: While Sheeptard mourns the loss of his woolen brethren, he also respects the laws of the land and the means for survival, and so he consumes his fallen lamb friends, gaining 50 hp back whenever one of his meatshields are destroyed, as well as +5 damage on his next attack.

Counting Sheep: Sheeptard casts his magic on an enemy, causing them to feel drowsy as illusions of small sheep began running by them and leaping over fences. After three turns, the victim falls into a deep slumber. Lasts 3 turns.

Well, I suppose after a hit like that you guys will just have to give up and roll over to surrender. There's just no...wait wtf is this?!

Crap! He was late to the boss raid again. Now wasn't the time to raise his alchemy but hey, when you find rare plants, you take the time for the experience. Well, given his late appearance he was somewhat sure that the team could have taken down the boss by now. On second thought, they were garbage without him. Finally he arrived to come to a pitiful excuse for a team... he just let out a sigh.

"Really. Who sent the low leveled noobs to fight Sheeptard? I mean you guys are practically feeding this thing. Its a boss, not just a normal enemy. You have to think about how to defeat it, how to actually, oh I don't know, deal damage!? But instead, you all decided to come into this boss battle with peasant armor. The guy with black hair staring at the girl's chests the entire time looks like he belongs in a bath house, spikey red haired guy is just asking the boss to attack him with that distracting scarf, the one girl with white hair is bleeding. I'm all for using women as shields but at least make her the front lines or something. She'll be better as a meet shield since she is already damaged. At least the blonde girl over here is wearing actual armor. But you guys thought about using a distraction by feeding him poultry which is smart, but from what I can see, the bird is doing better against the boss than all of you. The freaking Mccdonals Happy Meal is winning the MVP metal for having armor on and doing damage." The black haired man gave a thumbs up to Ra and then turned to the boss.

"Look, this is how you beat a boss." He gave a single slash with his sword and the boss was cut in half, dead on the ground. "Gasp! I must have just learned the most powerful magic in all existence! Such a magic could only be bestowed upon those who were destined for such greatness. The ability to kill things with a single slash. The gods must know of my talents and blessed me with the almighty magic. This magic could not be learned by anyone, oh no. It is too complicated for any normal person to use. It takes skill and conviction to achieve such a thing. Perhaps some day, all of you can learn to achieve such a skill. The gods will only react to those though who are pure of heart, soul, and body. You must go my children! Go to learn this skill for it will save your lives!"

Born in the coastal city of Gors Velen, Yana was raised among several fishermen, one of which happened to be her father. Her mother did not have an occupation, always dedicating her time to looking after little Yana Aegrum. That bothered Yana immensely; she hated her parents. They never did anything wrong to her, she just liked hurting people a little too much.

At the age of 5, Yana's powers as a mage awoke within her. She began experimenting with her power over the element of fire and dark fire, and got a little stronger. Every so often she would use it on children around the city, and their parents did not take kindly to this whatsoever. They remained quiet out of fear of their child and her sadistic nature.

At 8 years old, Yana finally went too far. A child was found dead, scorch marks all over her body. Immediately people went and accused Yana of it, to which she admitted burning her with a giddy look on her face, saying the girl was practically asking for it. The people tried to take Yana away there and then, but the moment the leader put a hand on her he began screaming as his skin began burning only moments before the rest of his body was ignited.

Yana's parents moved to stop her, but they hadn't even gotten close to her before they, too, were ignited. In less than five minutes, there was a room for of screaming, burning people at the hands of an eight year old pyromaniac, and seconds after that the rest of the house became engulfed in flames too.

The next day, a team was sent to investigate what had happened. They could only deduce that a fire had claimed the lives of all inside, and initially they thought something had gone wrong trying to cook food. However, on closer inspection they saw a note. It was a confession note reading as follows:

Yana continued her killings, often leaving nothing but a pile of ash where she went. This continued right up to and after the age of 20, where she had a shock. She'd gone and roasted another family, as was becoming common practice, but amidst the burning rubble the daughter there had stood completely still, not making a noise or showing any fear. This one interested her, so Yana took her with her, deciding that she would be her apprentice whether she liked it or not. That would be fun

-Witch's Curse: Where she walks, the environment withers slightly; it doesn't die completely, but it slowly decays, a dead giveaway for when she is nearby.
- Spiritwalker: Yana has practiced in necromancy, and while it isn't as powerful as her fire magic she is certainly a competent necromancer. As such, she has the ability to speak with the recently departed.
-Resurrection: After focusing for a large period of time, Yana has the ability to resurrect a dead body, giving the being life once more. She rarely uses this due to her love for murder, but the ability is there.
-Reanimation: Through the power of necromancy Yana partially revives a body. The body does as Yana wills it to, though she has to be focusing immensely the entire time or else the spell fizzles and the corpse returns to its original state of being.
- Blazing Inferno: Using her power over the element of fire, Yana creates a large, black fireball in front of her, before commanding the fireball to float into the air and explode, showering the area around with searing, smaller fireballs of dark energy.
- Heatwave: Pretty simple. Yana releases a wave of dark-orange flames around her, damaging everything around her and potentially setting all those nearby ablaze.
- Flame Wall: Do I even need to describe this? It's a literal wall of fire.
- Disciple of the flame: Being a mage that specializes in the element of fire, Yana has near immunity to flame-based spells and attacks.

-Flame Generation: Creates fire where the user specifies. More fire takes more energy and smaller flames take less. Fairly simple stuff.

Nope, it wasn't working. Hunter was pretty annoyed to say the least. Word apparently travelled very fast, because he had heard of a titan being killed without him. Pretty close to Kaynta, too. And he hadn't even been invited to go hunting. His name was Hunter for god's sake, and he was a soldier. What part of that screamed 'no we don't need him'. And he was the best soldier there, totally. Except maybe...no, he was the best. And so he had spent the last fifteen minutes simply sitting hanging over the edge of the canopy, swearing and yelling as many curse words as he could possibly think of, but it just wasn't doing the trick.

So, he'd have to find something else to do. Standing up with a slight groan, Hunter began walking towards the kitchen. He needed to put someone down to make himself feel better. What had the world done to such a man to cause him to act that way and to be such a colossal dick? Nothing, he was just born that way. All natural, and he was proud of it. Stepping into the kitchen, he found the fairy maid sandwich maker thing. "Food. Now" he demanded, pointing at a plate just in front of him.


Akari was sitting down inside of her home at her work, tampering with some of the 3D maneuver gear she'd been given. She couldn't remember who had actually given her it, but she did remember they'd only given it to her the day before. The hooking mechanism was busted and apparently hadn't been firing properly, so she'd been given it to fix. That was a piece of cake, it'd been fixed in about an hour and a half yesterday. Today was a little more fun. With her goggles over her eyes, she was hard at work messing around with the thing. "Just a little more....turn it right here....aaaaaaaand done" she said proudly, pulling her goggles back up on top of her head as she held up the hookshot in the air. It was a work of beauty, if she did say so herself. And she did. But...it needed something more. What was it?

Drumming her fingers rhythmically on the desk, she had an idea almost immediately. Ideas were her specialty; she couldn't stop having them even if she wanted to. "Ah! Of course, it was so damn obvious!" she said, before pulling out a paintbrush. She painted red flames along the sides of it, before putting it down once more. It was perfect. Speed flames to make the hook shoot faster. Now if only she had an invention that let her remember who gave her the thing...

Drake Famoye smirked slightly at the king's words. Drake wasn't a particularly overconfident guy, but if there was one thing he was sure he could do it was a scouting mission. "I'll scout it out and be back before you know it. If a titan gets in my path, I'll take care of it. And if Amber gets involved, I'll make sure no harm comes to her. Besides, if she shifts I think it's the titans that will be the ones screaming in fear" Drake said, a light joke thrown into the mix. It wasn't as much a joke as his tone made it seem though; if there was any one female in Kaynta that Drake feared it was Amber. Her determination and drive to succeed in everything made even his pale in comparison. Maybe that's why he enjoyed her company; it was good to have a little competition once in a while.

With that said, Drake turned to his little band of scouts. There were only six of them, but it should be enough to get the job done. Stealing from the walled city wasn't too difficult, it was getting back with the stuff that was the hard part. It was a good thing he was experienced with it. "Alright, lets go. We'll get the stuff, then get back from the city before Adelina's finished with dinner" Drake stated. He trusted the scouting regiment and got along with them pretty well. However, there weren't that many of them that joked around with him on the job. While Drake was fairly easy-going, that could change in a heartbeat if titans showed up or anyone was put in danger; and that included them starting a fight with one another. They then departed, setting forth from Kaynta with the intention of going to the walled city.​
