Gaius sort of stood there. He wasn't going to audibly celebrate Dale and Johanna officially becoming a thing. He'd thought they were already a thing before, so the fact it was official made no difference to him whatsoever. He had his scarf wrapped around his neck tightly, fighting off the feelings within. For once, the usual cheery Gaius had an extremely serious look on his face. Since he'd joined Sapphire Eclipse, in the small amount of time there had been a lot going on, and though he could feel himself getting stronger it still hadn't brought him any closer to finding out what happened to his mother. Was he really going to find out anything through the guild, or was it all just a complete waste of time? Despite the serious vibe Gaius was giving off, Gexln was completely unaffected. He wasn't celebrating the announcement of Dale and Johanna, anyone with eyes hadn't been surprised, but well he had had a bit to drink already. And so he did what any normal drunk person would do, and began using Break Time in the middle of the crowd. He'd been on a mission once to rescue children that had gone missing, and had found them in a dungeon with nothing keeping them there aside from the wicked dance moves of their captor, and the dance moves had stuck inside Gexln's head ever since.
Gaius used Binding Strike!
Yana stood above her minion. The flames had been snuffed out by the lack of oxygen, and while Yana had been almost prepared to let things slide before, a spark of rage flared up inside the young witch. Annabelle had tried to suffocate herself before her magical strength had given out. She'd tried to end her suffering and take the easy way out, the coward's way out. How was she going to kill others if she herself was dead? Not only that, she'd forgotten that Yana had necromancy powers, so she was also proving how unintelligent she was and how little she listened. Yana pulled up the sleeves of her top and a shimmer appeared in her eyes as she opened her mouth and spoke. "Oh, i'm not going to punish you" she stated. Quickly, Yana bent down and held up the dress she had been carrying for Annabelle. "Come on, put on the dress, you have to look nice for your trial" that heinous ***** said, forcibly putting the dress onto her minion. She then opened a portal that opened up deep within an alleyway in Novigrad. Acting swiftly, Yana began running towards a large group of people, screaming hysterically. She forced tears to come running down her cheeks as she allowed herself to fall forward in front of the group of people. "Help! Please! She's coming! The witch! Sh-she said she was going to kill everyone if I didn't help her, but I got away and...oh god she's here!" Yana stammered, her words slightly muffled through tears. Damn she was a good actress. Right as she finished that statement was when Annabelle stepped through the portal. Immediately Yana got up and turned around to face the little girl. "P-please don't hurt me y-your greatness. I swear I didn't tell them anything. I didn't I didn't I didn't I promise, please let me live. Please..." she whimpered, tears increasing in frequency. Now was the time to truly sell the point. Using as much power as she could possibly muster, Yana began using every bit of fire magic in her body, causing her entire self to become alight with black flames as she released a bloodcurdling scream; she'd heard more than enough of them to mimic it perfectly. This continued for a good ten seconds, lasting long enough to burn all her clothes to the point they were merely tiny bits of fabric on her, covering next to nothing, as well as leave her skin tinged slightly which was impressive given the witch's resistance to flames. "I'm...s-sorry...please.." she said once more, before giving everything she had in one last final burst of sobbing and tears, falling onto the ground in a crumpled up heap of sorrow. Zach took one wiff of the blossoms and immediately felt his strength leaving him, at the same time that he completely lost control over the werewolf body. With a terrifyingly fast lunge, the wolf pounced forward and plunged straight into Teriana. His claws weren't out, but the force behind the shove was tremendous. Not enough to kill the girl, likely it wouldn't even break her back or any bones, but she'd have a sore back for a while if she didn't do something to break her fall. Once that was done, still charging towards her the werewolf body fell to the ground, consciousness slipping away. As the finger jabbed into Callum, he lost his balance and quickly fell off of the roof just as Tessa yelled she didn't have names. That was a blatant lie, everyone had someone they wanted to kill, didn't they? Immediately after that, Seth gave three names. Three, no two, fake names. He knew the names of each guard in Novigrad, and even the names of a couple of their wives after....adventures, and while he had never heard of the first two, the third was an actual person. Ugh, Meg Griffin was disgusting. He'd only been with her to piss off her husband, and he had loathed every minute of it. "Bull you don't have names. Everyone has names. Hell I could come up with a list in minutes if anyone asked me, so how can you not want someone dead? There has to be someone. Anyone will do. How about the guy giving fake names? He'd be easy, and that'll be one name off the list and one name closer to both of our freedom"

After recovering from the shock of his psionic inundation doing less than its base damage, he used it again.
"You hit a lot harder than you look. Thanks for the fight, I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did" the young fire mage said, before his attention was grabbed by Jack. "Yeah, who're you?" he questioned, before hearing his name called out once again. Geez, he'd only just finished the fight and he was going to have to go again? It was a good thing he was so experienced with fighting or else he'd probably be exhausted. Wiping away a single bead of sweat from his brow, he hurried over to where Zephyr was. He stood there for a moment, sizing his opponent up. He hadn't seen this person before, what a way to greet them. Without a word, he dove forward and swung with tremendous force, using Binding Strike. Skadi had been watching from the sidelines after her fight. Her body ached a bit, but other than that she felt fine, just a little fatigued. The moment she'd seen Gaius beat Silvia she had stood up and began walking over towards Silvia. She could congratulate Gaius, but given it was a tournament he'd have another fight soon and holding him up would only irritate him, but she could go talk to her friend. "Hey! Silvia! Nice job! I've never seen Gaius look so serious in a friendly fight, you really had him going there!" she complimented.
Because his rper needed to post to get the rewards, Glen began panicking a little. They were captured inside cages, listening to poor poetry and being told that this guy had a huge plan but he couldn't even go into a huge monologue and give them time to get away. They had to get out, and they had to do it quickly. Kross had had the idea of summoning his keyblade, and to an extent that was a good idea. They were locked inside the cage, the giant key unlocked things, but after all this effort to trap the keyblade wielders, would the mad doctor really overlook that fact? Apparently so. However, what the mad doctor hadn't planned out was that someone would be so stupid they would try the same thing over and over again with the hopes eventually it would work. Glen was that someone. Summoning his keyblade, he began attacking the cage over and over again in an effort to escape.
"DEATH PENALTY. ELECTRIC CHAIR. GUILLOTINE. LETHAL INJECTION. DEATH BY SNU SNU!" Gexln shouted at the doors that lead out to the courtyard. With that being said, he walked away to find Tabby. He had some serious hunting to do.
I'm sure Caleb would have tried to say something witty in response to the attack thrown at him, but he was literally blown apart by like five mines converging in on him and exploding. However due to the power of godlike healing magic he was fixed in seconds. He had been a fool to fight Veilen. Trying to fight him.....had been a mistake. Veilen had had the right idea, but just because he was correct didn't mean he was right. Caleb was just thankful he hadn't been killed. People died when they were killed, well unless you had johanna nearby evidently. "Don't apologize, you take a hit better than most people. That being said" Gaius said, cracking his knuckles slightly, "I'm going to have to break through that defence of yours" the fire mage said, flames intensifying as he leaped forward and used Wishing Edge.
The moment the king told him to rethink his reasons and keep away from his daughter, a small sign that read 'challenge accepted' lit up in his mind. Then the old geezer had to go and call him out on his misuse of hand grenades. Like what the hell, did he not see the entrance? It was so worth it, even if he had to do dishes. That being said, who was he to force him to do dishes? "You can't make me do the dishes, you might be the king but I'm the brawn around here!" Akari, who had been standing there with a look of confusion on her face the entire time, shook her head. "No, that's Drake" she said quietly. "Well what are you going to do without the brains of the place here?" "That one's me" "You'll be lost without raising morale because I am the looks here" "Flame" the inventor called out before walking over to go and check the weaponry and gear just as the king had ordered her to do. "WELL I CAN'T ARGUE WITH THAT" Hunter said, just loudly enough that the king would surely hear. Drake bit his tongue as the guard once again referred to Fae as 'things'. He wanted to knock the guy's teeth out pretty badly, but if he did that he would surely only cause more problems. "There's some resemblance. When you see that I'm telling the truth, I will look forward to seeing you soil yourself as you slowly realize that you've been beating up humanity's best hope" the scout leader said, managing a smirk behind the words.
Callum hadn't really been phased by the flipping off, and he hadn't cared enough for the girl to follow behind her, but yet there had been this nagging voice in the back of his mind. It had told him he should, because until she gave him those names she had power over him, and even if that wasn't the case she was still his best shot at finding out where the hell the guy paying him had gone off to. And so, after kicking at the ground in frustration he had followed her. He was being much more careful this time, simply observing and keeping an eye on her. God, was this how parents felt when their children rushed off in a temper tantrum? If somehow he found someone who could tolerate his moodiness, he would be thankful he was a Witcher. The inability to knock someone up was a blessing in itself sometimes. Coming to a stop at the edge of one of the buildings, he looked down at the girl who was hurrying through the city. "You already tried to outrun me once, I don't know why you would think it would work a second time. So, names. If you can't give me them now, you're going to have the worlds moodiest and darkest Witcher on your tail. What do you say you save yourself the trouble now and just pick three people? It doesn't even have to be three that matter, any three will do" he explained, hanging off the edge of the buiding somewhat acrobatically. Zach had been having an internal battle of epic proportions. With each minute that passed while he was shifted, the potion wore off a little. It was getting harder and harder to hold onto what little control he had. As a desperate effort to maintain some sort of focus, he put an enormous amount of willpower into getting his wolf body to sink his teeth into his own arm. He let out a slight yelp as the pain set in, but it worked. He had control for now, but already he could feel even that slipping away. He quickly began scratching in the dirt, writing a message that simply read 'no control' before he sat down behind it, in that familiar pose that a household dog would have. As long as he sat like that she would know he wasn't some rabid beast, and the second he was no longer seated there, well he just hoped that Teliana thought of something and quick. Well, Yana had portalled back to the camp quickly only to see that it was empty. She found herself horribly disappointed in her minion, not because she had left but because she had left and not even bothered to cover her tracks. Seriously, the amount of clues as to where she'd gone was ridiculous. Broken twigs everywhere, hurried footprints, hell she wouldn't be surprised if the girl cut herself on something and leaked blood. She would really have to teach her to hide her tracks better. After she found her, anyway. It didn't take her very long. Annabelle wasn't amazingly quick, and Yana knew the area reasonably well. Not only that, but the tracks made it painfully obvious. "MIIIIIIIIINIIIOOOOOON" she called out, raising her voice. She held up a fireball in her right hand. "WHAT DID I TELL YOU ABOUT ESCAPING?" she boomed. The fireball began increasing in intensity and power, gaining increased size before Yana hurled the fireball not at Annabelle as the girl had probably suspected but at a tree branch laying on the ground. The branch was set alight, and the witch held it just above the ground, poking at the dirt below. "YOU COVER YOUR DAMN TRACKS" she shouted, before sighing. "If you run away, how am I going to give you this dress thingy I found? Or did you want to walk around all naked forever? 'Cause I can totally arrange that if you'd rather"
"Not a day's, more like a week's" Samuel responded, ever the socialist as he walked in. At <Seth's Angel> asking if he was there to buy or sell, he shrugged his shoulders. "If you're interested, I've probably got some stuff from the drops lately. In any case, I need to buy some more potions. I'm going to go hunting for about a week solid, farming up experience and trying to find and beat this boss, but I used my last potion today. How many do you have for sale?" the boy questioned. The sooner he got done with buying these potions, the sooner he could go and work more on clearing the damn game. Emma let out the very smallest of giggles at Bryce's fussing over the smudge. Here they were, in a game where it was literally life or death, with very little progress on anything, and not only was she not too worried for once in her life, but Bryce's biggest worry seemed to be the smudge on his shirt. "It's fine, it doesn't look as bad as you think. Besides, i'm hardly dressed up myself. You should've seen how difficult it was to keep these things clean when you work at a blacksmith. Oh yeah, that reminds me. Here, hold out your hands so I can give you this" Emma said, before opening her menu and scrolling through the items. Once she'd found what she was after, she chose to display the item, and in her hands materialized a sturdy looking axe.
As Lucia wished her luck, Skadi nodded and prepared for the fight. It wasn't much of a fight though, more of a butchery. One moment she was fighting, and then the next her nerves hit right as Lucia tossed her knives at her. Her feet were frozen to the spot (I had to) and she found herself unable to move. Striking down another guildmate, could she really bring herself to do it? Turns out no, no she could not. The knives soared towards her, each spinning as though they had been thrown by an absolute pro. Though the ice mage couldn't bring herself to hurt another in her guild, she did have one advantage. Lucia didn't know it, but she was actually a descendant of a legend that went by the name of Keanu Reeves. As the blades flew at her, Skadi bent backwards and simply ducked underneath them as time seemed to slow down. If these were regular knives, she would have had no problems surviving, but it had never been said how many knives there were, and thus they were never ending. Skadi managed to avoid, like, another six waves of knives before one found its way into her shoulder. She flinched as the blade hit and grimaced a little in pain, and that was all it took for the rest of the knives to hit, and given they were infinite well **** she was messed up. Thankfully, due to the magic of anime and, well, magic, she was healed immediately which was a miracle in itself given the wounds. She looked up from the ground, still in a lot of pain and simply laying on the ground. "Lucia, right? Do me a favour? Find the guy who made those things and give him a raise" the girl said, a little delirious. Unknown to Veilen, Caleb had once taken classes at ballet. Hadn't been his idea, it had been to impress a girl who it turns out had also been there to impress a girl, but he'd been there nonetheless. As such, he was confident he could twirl and jump over those mines without an issue, and so he decided to GO HAM and dive in with Blitz. Gexln had thought of getting a drink and trying to out-do Edric, no easy feat, but had decided against it. He figured the ability to walk would be required for the trial ahead, and given his status as an S-class member as well as the guy who had been running the mission before, he would more than likely be needed. It was good he had thought that way, because he had been right. He was needed. He listened to Ra providing a recount of everything. While they weren't the exact words the dragon slayer would've used, it wasn't as though Ra was wrong. He just didn't say it with enough charisma or enthusiasm or anything. Where was the swearing, the angry fist shaking? The telling of the hippies to get off of his fcking lawn? Mikasa had just tried to murder them, and yet there was no death threats, he was kind of disappointed. Taking a huge breath because he knew that he was expected to give a summary of everything, he opened his mouth and began his story. "Well, since Ra did a pretty decent job, I'll keep it quick. Gaius made fun of Dale, Dale sent us on a wild goose chase, we ran into this mutant sheep thing that had lots of tinier mutant sheep hold me down. A lot of tiny, mutant sheep. Anyway, after that we ran into Mikasa. First she decided to call us idiots for falling for the oh so obvious trap that wasn't even obvious given we hadn't even made it to the damn location the trap was going to be set in, then she decided to insult my status as not only an s-class member but also calling me a liar, saying I was no dragonslayer. Then she told us she wasn't going to let us pass, quickly changed her mind to go and harrass Dale, threatened to murder Johanna and then when we tried to stop her from killing a guild mate she was like 'you know what killing that one person is wrong, I'M GOING TO TURN INTO A GIANT AND KILL EVERYONE THAT SAYS NO'. My memory gets a little hazy during the fight, I remember beating her up before she was in her titan thing, and then I can't even remember, it was like I'd been phased out of existence or something. But yeah, Mikasa being an absolute dog, insulting everyone, trying to murder people. That good enough?" he asked rhetorically.
Posting this from phone (which is about to die) so you will have to forgive lack of formatting. Also you probably should've done this in pms instead so that its less cluttered but whatever Caleb uses barrier surge on VEILEN even though i'm pretty sure you don't get invulnerability in this tourney Gaius uses binding strike on Silvia Skadi uses Quake on Lucia
Shane used Psionic Inundation again
For Gaius, I will be unequipping Fire in place of Fire Strike, and also equipping Wishing Edge. I will use his point in Natsu to give him his extra stats, and then lastly I will purchase and equip yet another Titan Chain. ALSO BECAUSE HE GETS ANOTHER AS I WILL EQUIP FIRA! For Skadi, I will be unequipping Thunder in place of Cure, Magnet in place of Magnera, and I will also equip Blizzara. Am also going to switch out Sliding Dash for Binding Strike. Since she has 1040 jewels and 1 item slot open, I will also purchase and equip a moon amulet. The moon amulet (alongside other stats) gives +3 AS, so I will fill those with Zero Gravity, Fira, and Quake. For Caleb, I will swap out Aero in place of Barrier Surge. I will also equip the exp earring he looted from the guard's corpse.

"I guess so" was all Callum said in response to the three names comment. He walked calmly over to the bathhouse and went inside before, well, bathing. While he did so, he thought of what he'd just done. He'd lost to that human, and given her his temporary loyalty, wasn't even getting paid for it either, and on top of that he'd told her he would try to end this damned conflict. How the hell was he going to do that? Great job Callum, you screwed up again, he thought to himself. He put on his clothing and his equipment once more before walking outside of the bathhouse and over to Tessa. "Three names, given at any point. If you have some now we can get to business, if not then I'll go off and do my own thing for a while" the male said, making his intentions clear. Yana had found what she was after. It was a graveyard, one she had visited just after her aunt had passed away. She hadn't wanted to go, but she'd been forced to; it wasn't hard to force a four year old to go places, really. While there, she'd learned of a young girl, twelve years of age, who had died in a horrendous vampire attack. The girl hadn't stood a chance, they'd said, having vicious scratch marks all over her body and a deep puncture in her neck where the fangs had penetrated the skin. They had buried the girl inside a coffin and put it six feet under the ground. She had been a member of a noble family, one well known for having expensive clothing. Maybe the royalty was the reason the vampire had gone after her, to see if the blood was any different, but either way that didn't matter. "Alright, screw doing this. I need that dress, but digging will take forever. At least, only if I do it myself" the witch said before shifting her stance to one that provided more stability. After what she did, she was going to be exhausted, probably barely able to stand; but on the other hand, if she completed it, she was going to have an ever-loyal minion, she was sure of it. Holding her hands out, she cracked her knuckles and then placed her hands on the ground. She could do it standing up, but it was way more awesome this way. From her hands, black ghostly tendrils resembling dark, bony hands emerged and plunged straight into the earth. Through the earth the hands moved, ignoring the laws of physics as the spectral hands found what they were after. Each hand had gone in a separate direction, and to a different coffin, before they passed through the coffin's exterior surface and then finally plunged into the dead heart of the corpse inside. Seconds later, the corpse became reanimated and immediately began doing whatever it could to escape the clutches of the coffin, which happened to be simply digging. Though the corpse quickly became completely surrounded by the soil that entered the coffin and crushed by it, it was already dead, and thus continued digging as best as it could. After a good ten minutes, three corpses arose from the ground, absolutely covered in dirt and grime before making their way over to Yana. Yana hadn't done a complete resurrection; she had merely reanimated the corpses for her purposes, and thus it didn't take quite as much energy. However she was still panting from exhaustion and breathing heavily. Without a word, the witch pointed at the tombstone that rested at the girl's grave and commanded the corpses to dig. They did so, and in a reasonable amount of time they had broken through and hurled the coffin out of the earth, placing it in front of their commander. As Yana now released the spell, the corpses simply fell to the ground, completely dead once again. Wandering over and still breathing heavily, Yana heaved the lid off of the coffin, a smile appearing on her face as she saw what she was after. At Ana's words, Zach had stopped for just a moment. A small voice inside of him was demanding he kill her, eat her even, but that voice was pushed down by his regular thought patterns, allowed partially through due to the potion's effect. He stood there, not sure what to do, when he was cut with the blade from the vampire and threatened. He wasn't sure what the vampire was talking about. He hadn't hurt Teliana, and he didn't plan to. No, the one in danger wasn't her, but the vampire himself. There wasn't a single part of him that didn't want to tear the vampire apart, but he had a blade to his throat. Would he survive if the blade cut there? He wasn't sure. He forced himself to calm down and ignore the voice telling him to fight. He didn't want to get himself killed, after all. He was thankful he wasn't like his brother; he had no doubt whatsoever that Matthias would've attacked. The tension dropped and he allowed his shoulders to relax, waiting for the vampire to lower the blade. Unlike Zach, Matthias wasn't scared of The Change. In fact, he looked forward to it. He had long since embraced his nature of being a werewolf, trained with it even, and the moment he felt that familiar tingling sensation and increase of temperature he hadn't fought it, but allowed it through. The people around him had had mixed reactions. Some had screamed, others had began cursing, and some had outright attacked him. The ones that had attacked him had been the first to go, their chests sliced open and their entrails left to spill out onto the ground. After that, the ones that had been yelling at him had gone, throats torn out and scratched all over their bodies. With those ones taken care of, he had turned to the screaming ones. He'd left them last on purpose; the longer they survived, the more fear they felt, and while Matthias wasn't sadistic, the werewolf nature of him very much enjoyed playing with his prey. They'd gone down quickly but certainly not quietly, killed in whatever way Matthias had seen fit. He had allowed one person to escape though, the man that he had fought before. Nobody knew his name, so it wasn't so dangerous to let one escape. Besides, the more the stories of the werewolf that plagued Vizima, the more likely it was that others would come to try to stop him, or Witchers would be called in. If Witchers were called in he'd know that the town was desperate. He'd seen the hatred they had for Witchers, he shared some of it himself. If one of them came to stop him, things would get interesting. After all, he'd never killed a Witcher before, but he longed for it.
As Mikasa held up her hands in a form of surrender, Gaius didn't buy it. Why would she fight so hard to give up so easily? She had to have something else planned. She did. A very big plan, actually. Once Mikasa turned into her titan form, Gaius did the first thing that came into his mind and bit down on his finger, just as she had done. He waited to turn into a giant, but it never came. Instead, his fists became ablaze once more as he prepared to fight.. Gexln, like Gaius, wasn't surprised by the fact that Mikasa wasn't giving up so easily. She was S class. Although he had seen Mikasa fight before and he could've sworn she wasn't nearly this durable normally, but unfortunately he had no idea how she had done that. He'd put it down to the power of friendship, but that couldn't be it due to her being kind of a *****. Nonetheless, it didn't really matter how she'd done it, he was just going to have to kick her ass anyway.
Drake squirmed a little, but endured the pain rather well given how intense it was. He didn't scream, didn't cry out, he simply gritted his teeth and endured. This seemed to bother the guard, but not as much as Drake's next words. "I'll tell you that when you learn how to hold a knife properly, so I'd say we've got a few years of quality time" he retorted. The knife was suddenly plunged even further into the scout leader's thighs, and Drake could remain silent no more. He didn't scream or cry out, but you could hear him straining not to do so. "A little better" he said. His plan was simple; piss off the guard so much and do whatever it took to get the attention away from Veera. Once the guard eventually gave up they could work on escaping. He was just thankful that Flame had gotten away when she had. He owed Gale more than his friend probably knew. They could torture Drake as much as they liked, he'd never tell them what they wanted to know, but if they'd tortured Flame in front of him he wasn't confident he would hold up for very long. The idea of her being hurt was one he detested and would do everything in his power to prevent. It wasn't just his duty to protect her, but he wanted to protect her. It was no secret that his affections for the Fae princess ran deep. Her ravishing beauty, the feisty nature, he couldn't think of many things about her that he didn't find attractive, and the very thought that he may never escape the prison and see her again was one he would not allow to enter his mind for even a fraction of a second. As the guard dug the knife further into his thigh, Drake quickly realized that if he pissed off the guard too much he may not live to ever get out, or at least be crippled beyond belief if he did. And yet he couldn't allow Veera to be punished for his mistake, so what was he to do? He had no way to keep both himself and Veera out of harm unless he sent the guard away, though there was no way to do that. Unless....he had an idea, a long shot but maybe it would work. And if it didn't, he wouldn't be in any worse of a situation. "You might want to ease off on the knife. I'm sure your leader would be very upset to discover you'd just killed off your best hope of fighting back the titans. My name is Drake Famoye, son of one of the most powerful generals to ever stand against the titans, Daniel Famoye. With every twist of that knife, my fighting ability drops that much more, as do your chances of survival" he announced. A wave of fear surged through Akari as the king spoke of launching a rescue operation. Going back to the walled city, could she do it? Her father had been killed there, she was sure of it, and she'd seen her mother die there. That place brought up a lot of bad memories..and yet at the same time as the fear entered her body, so did curiousity. This was her chance to test her inventions. Not only the cloak, but the gauntlets as well as the other invention she'd been working on secretly. As a person the very idea of her going back to the walled city was one that terrified her to no end, but as an inventor she simply couldn't resist the urge. Walking over to the king, she gave a very slight grin. "Akari Hirano, ready to do whatever task is necessary to go and get them back" she stated, only moments before a quite loud explosion was heard from a distance away. Hunter hadn't done a hell of a lot while everyone was talking. Instead of doing things and being productive, he'd gone to marvel at the armory they had. Or rather, at the lack of one. All it had was a few guns, an absolute assload of 3DMG, and a hand grenade. So naturally, he'd done the only logical thing and taken the hand grenade to go to the training grounds. And what what a good idea that was. Everyone there, talking about some rescue operation. Rescuing Veera and Drake from the walled city, which meant that they'd likely run into some titans along the way, and other people that probably didn't want them saving Veera and Drake. Hunter had been close enough to actually hear what was going on (barely), but he turned and walked away, tossing the hand grenade playfully from one hand to the other. Once he'd gotten a distance away, he tossed the grenade forward. He raced forward after he realized his mistake, pulled the pin, and then threw it forward once more. As the explosion went off, he walked through the smoke and dust in the air that was now there due to the explosion, walking as though he were in slow motion for dramatic effect. Once he'd made it through the dust, he ignored the fact he'd just wasted their only hand grenade and he unsheathed his blade to sling it over his shoulder heroically. "Did somebody call for a hero? Guts, glory, hot princesses and the chance to make the leader of the scouts look like an amateur? Sign me up" Hunter declared, announcing his intention to help.
