Well, I have to admit I didn't see this coming. Both a horrible thing and a good thing I suppose. I haven't personally talked to you too much, but generally when I have it was a pleasant conversation, and nobody can deny you have done a lot for the site, making it a better experience in my opinion for everyone. It's sad to see you go, but if you feel its right then it probably is, and it's a good thing that you're able to recognise that. Best of luck to you for the future, Misty!

Okay, because I forgot to credit Cstar, I'm just going to put this here. I did almost nothing for the banner you see inserted above, it was all her. If you ever need a banner, I would highly recommend seeing her graphic's shop because as you can see she is pretty damn good at it. Eternally grateful for it, my friend.

Yana was coughing a bit after the oxygen had been sucked out of her lungs. She had to admit, her young apprentice had an impressive spell there, and under most circumstances that would've probably caused Yana to actually show some sort of praise, but certainly not after she'd used the spell directly on Yana. Sure, Annabelle could've killed Yana with that spell and she supposed she had to be thankful for that, but there was one unforgivable thing that Annabelle had done.

    She had cheated the game.

Yana skipped over to Annabelle, the usual giddy look on her face as she went over there. "That was interesting, very interesting, you sucked aaaaall the air out of the place" she said, before landing a vicious backhand on the girl's face, "and you completely cheated! I told you to use the statue thing not try to kill me! That's it, you're going to have to learn your lesson" the witch scolded. She was going to make good on her threat, even if it wasn't the fire that punished the apprentice. She grabbed the girl and simply ripped off the clothing, using the smallest of flames to weaken the fabric so that she could do that because shut up its possible. "We're going to do this one more time. Just one. If you do what I tell you, you can stay here, if you don't then you're going to go for walkies into town just like that to get me things" the young witch said, sinister grin on her face as she did so.

"Please, I know exactly what to do. I was just giving you the chance to make yourself useful, but apparently you can't even do that. No wonder your father doesn't show up, he'd probably die of embarassment" Hunter said with a slight laugh. "Interrogation's our thing. The other team was recon, I think, and we get to beat the crap out of or ask a guard nicely about his traumatising memories. Should be fun, so the sooner we head to Durlag the better. Men, to the horses!" he proclaimed, before he turned to look at Ana. "Not just men, in case you're wondering" he added, before turning and heading out of the room.

A few minutes later, he was at the stables. He went over immediately to the black stallion. It was arguably the fastest horse out of all of them, if a little wild, so that was important. The leader obviously had to have the fastest horse so his entourage could ride his sweet-ass coattails. The horse was a free spirit, but damn it got the job done. It was also named Boris. "Boris, we meet again" Hunter said simply. This wasn't the first time he'd tangled with Boris. He and Boris had had many confrontations, most of them ending with Hunter walking away with a broken arm or rib. However, Hunter had the best idea ever. He dove forward and slammed a saddle onto the horse's back, and immediately the magic of television put a golden glow around the horse as Hunter acquired a new mount. He then allowed the horse to rear up with dramatic flair as he raised his sword into the sky and pointed it forward. "To Durlag we ride, to ruin some poor guard's day even more!" he roared, before shooting off towards Durlag.

Shane accepted the potion from Tessa, giving a curt 'thank you' before making sure the others were alright. He didn't know any of them remarkably well, but he still needed to know that they were okay. Looking around, it seemed like he was the only one who was even remotely injured. Physically, anyway. Emotionally, a couple of them seemed to be shaken up a little. The one who seemed the worst though was the one that had hit on him, Alexis. He remembered before the tower where she'd been so sure that there were no records, had the idea of Ze Operator knowing about her past sunk into her mind and messed it up a little?

Walking into the Stasis Room, he found her sitting in a corner with Ze Operator (who has an obnoxiously large banner) nearby, so the boy walked over. He didn't sit down, but did crouch down nearby her. "You know, having our 'fun' later isn't going to be very enjoyable if you're moping around like that" he said simply.

Caleb is going to equip Barrier Surge in place of Quick Blitz, assuming he has that. Some kind of magic if not. I don't care what.

He's also equipping the looted exp earring.

"I hope so. All I want is to be able to make a difference, and help create a place where people no longer need to fear titans, but yeah I could use a bite to eat. Can't fuel genius on an empty stomach now can I?" Akari asked, standing up with a slight laugh as she did so. Maybe she was too casual with the king, but Akari had never been one for too much formality. When the situation demanded it she could knuckle down and be entirely serious, but in general she tried to keep a positive outlook on things. The girl had made some impressive inventions to be sure, but her greatest creation was surely the mask she wore that concealed the pain she contained within her heart so well even she forgot it was there sometimes.

Drake stood silently as he thought carefully about all the information before them. As Veera had pointed out, the cannons weren't actually pointed outside the walls but rather were aimed at inside. On top of that, bodies littered the ground before them as far as the eye could see. He watched as Flame took off along the wall, telling them she'd use her flare if she saw anything dangerous. It was confusing for Drake, overlooking everything made it seem like a ruthless titan attack had happened. There were walls destroyed partially, which supported that idea, but if the titans had attacked somewhat recently, would there not be some there at that point? Titans acted on instinct, he knew that much, and surely their instincts wouldn't send every single one away from the area unless they'd been fought back. If they'd been fought back though, the humans wouldn't have left their dead in the streets, nor would it be deserted. So a titan attack wasn't too likely, though it was a possibility. That only meant one explanation that he could think of, and that one was one that made Drake feel extremely uneasy.

"The cannons may not have been used on the titans. Overpopulation in such a confined space would be a thing...there is a chance that this might not be a titan attack, but a mass culling..." the scout leader said, his voice sorrowful as he spoke. He saw Flame heading back rather quickly, and given she hadn't used her flare he assumed things weren't dangerous, but he hadn't been sent to simply visit the city, he'd been sent there by the king to find answers. "We need answers, and we're not going to find them standing around here. We have to go deeper" he stated, before turning to look at Flame. He pointed in the direction he knew to be the gate to the next section of the wall, not sure how else to tell her his intent, before leaping off of the wall and using his 3D maneuver gear to sling himself forwards. He hadn't gotten very far when he saw some humans walking forwards. They seemed to be searching for something, but what? Knowing Amber's race, she was in danger if she got too close, so Drake had to make this quick. Swinging in, he landed just a few feet away from them, holding his swords ready but not so much in a threatening pose. "Me and my fellow scouts were sent to examine the area outside of the wall, and we return to nothing but rubble and death. What happened here?" he questioned, not wanting to tell them who he or anyone else there was.

Shane is buying and equipping a Ronin Chestplate, Helmet and Boots for a total of 750 credits, bringing him to 1000 credits.

He will then buy (and equip assuming its possible) Pyrokinetic and Cryokinetic combat for 550 credits, bringing him now to 450 remaining.

How do I use skill points?

"Flame then, sure" Drake Famoye agreed. With everyone agreeing to move on, Drake got onto his horse. "Then we continue to the walled city" the scout leader stated simply. He spurred his horse into gear and began galloping as fast as his horse would take him. It wasn't long before they arrived at said city, where Drake hopped off quietly and hid behind a few bushes. Something was wrong, something was very wrong. He'd been to the walled city before, and he'd lived there as a child, and at both times he'd always known the wall to have titans along the base of it, scratching at the wall as though they were going to magically start climbing up the damn thing. And yet he saw nothing. What was going on? Was this another ambush? He held up a hand to indicate they should wait, before he quietly aimed and fired a hook straight to the top of the wall. "Alright, time to find out where the titans are" he said, re-activating his 3DMG and pulling himself to the top of the wall.

(Guys i'm not sure what he would actually see help me out here)

"Huh. Your great grandfather sounds like he was smart, making what would eventually become all this. My great grandfather was a farmer, so was my grandfather, and my father was..." Akari began to say, but the mere thought of her father was enough to bring a tear to her eye. Her eyes got slightly watery, and she cleared her throat before continuing. "My parents were both part of the scout regiment in the walled city up until my father injured his leg trying to break up a drunken brawl. My mom hid the fact she was a fae pretty well. She grew her hair real long, and tried to keep to herself when she wasn't at home. I can't remember ever seeing her shift at all, now that I think about it.." the girl said, her voice trailing off slightly as painful memories began to stir. Clearing her throat once more, she forced a slight smile. "My family's nothing special, but I'm determined to make something one day that is going to make such a difference the Hirano name will never be forgotten" Akari stated.

I've been doing some thinking, and I'm no longer part of this roleplay. There are quite a few reasons for my leaving, and if anyone wants to know I can tell you, I really don't mind. But I'm not going to get into it here. Best of luck to the other participants, I'll be killing off Sebastian in my next post.

As the Sword Arm came at Shane, the boy barely had any time to get out of the way. The arm hit him right along his torso and landed a devastating blow. Had it been any further over, Shane had every reason to believe it would have killed him. He tried to get up, but struggled. It felt as though something were broken, so Shane wouldn't be able to move too efficiently. Thankfully, he didn't need to move too much. Reaching out towards the Kolossus, Shane began poking at the creature's mind more aggressively, sending shocks at his enemy and trying to shut down its brain. Permanently.

    Shane used Psionic Inundation!

"Kaida!" Glen yelled as he dove forward and reached out with his hand to try to catch her. He was too slow, however, and his fingers didn't even make contact with hers as his friend slipped away from him, the last thing he heard from her a loud yell. He sat there for a moment, before turning around. A look of incredible seriousness appeared on Glen as his now slightly-too-long hair began blowing in the wind, fuelled by his badassery just like anime shows have a habit of doing. Without a word, the keyblade wielder held out his left hand and summoned his keyblade. He leaped into action and began hacking and slashing with his weapon, but it did absolutely nothing, merely passing through the ink-creatures.

Suddenly from out of nowhere, Glen was shoulder barged by a slightly larger ink creature. He rolled backwards and into the hole that Kaida had just fallen into. Not giving up, he stabbed his keyblade forward and into the ground, holding onto it desperately. As his foe walked in front of him, he could see that it was now an ink lion in the shape of Scar himself. Who Scar was he'd never know, but that wasn't important. "Hikaru! Brother, help me!" he called out. The ink creature was having none of that though, digging its claws into Glen's arm that was holding onto the keyblade and causing him to yell out in pain. The ink creature then leaned forward and looked deep into the keyblade wielder's eyes, and Glen just knew what it was thinking. He didn't get to see it play out though as the ink creature grabbed Glen and tossed him back into the hole, the last thing the keyslinger seeing being the confident eyes of the lion prick that had thrown him into the hole.

"It's not my fault if you fall asleep in just a few seconds of laying down. I'll do it a little more gently next time. Maybe I'll prod your body gently with a pointed stick. Or maybe I'll do it with a pointed di-" Hunter started to say, before breaking out into a coughing fit, cutting himself off. This continued for a tiny bit, before he regained his composure.

Hunter stood still, thinking for a moment. Yes, you read that correctly. Hunter was thinking. "That'd be a great idea. I, your leader, will lead us on the path to victory" the man said. He made no move for a moment before realizing a very, very big problem. He couldn't recall what their mission was. He cleared his throat. "However, every good leader needs to respect the opinions of his team. I can't do that, can't even come close, but I can pretend I can. So, Aedion, what would your take be on what we ought to do?" Hunter asked.

Akari blinked a couple of times when the king mentioned he'd like to see it when he was done, simply not saying anything. One might mistake it for embarassment, or shock, but no...
"Well yeah, you're the king and the leader of the warriors. I don't know why I'd show it to anyone else first"

It was sass. And lots of it.
"Your majesty, if you don't mind me asking, who came up with the idea of creating a city in the trees? Are they still around?"

Drake was still reflecting on what had just happened. It boggled his mind, really. Titans hadn't been orchestrated like that before to his knowledge, certainly not intelligent enough to set up an ambush. Had it been a coincidence, or was there something more behind it? Titans behaving differently...did it have something to do with the rumours of the walled city needing assistance? The only danger Drake could think of would be titans attacking, so had the walled city done something to cause a change in the titans' actions?

He was snapped out of his thoughts by Flame shifting back and forth, before she spoke of rewards and such. He didn't see what he had to be rewarded for, so he assumed she was talking to the others. Drake got up from the position he'd been crouching in, recovered, and walked to the front of the group. If there was going to be a time the scouts needed a leader, it was then. As he turned to face them, he noticed only now how much smaller the group looked. There had been seven of the scouts before, and now...gods, there were only three of them and Amber.

"I've never heard of titans being that organized. I'm not entirely sure why they were, but I've got a hunch the walled city might have something to do with it...which means there's a solid chance we'll run into something like that again. I can't promise we'll all come back from the city alive if we continue, and so I'm not going to ask you to come. Veera, Gale, if the two of you go back now, I won't hold it against you. You'll be rewarded, and hopefully you'll forget this ever happened. Amber, I know there's no point in telling you to go back; I've known you for too long to think that'd work, much as I wish it would. However, we do things my way. No shifting and racing ahead" Drake explained. He looked at the titan corpses, as well as those of his fallen friends. How had they managed it? He took a deep breath. "No matter your decision, I'm continuing on. The mission is an important one and might yield answers, so I intend on seeing it through. Besides, I've got a reputation to uphold, right?" he asked, jokingly, although his voice was very dry and dull as he asked.

Gexln let Mikasa have her little rant, pushing off the corpses of the defeated sheep that had assaulted him. For once, he actually sat there and simply listened as someone gave him a lecture. However, where she crossed the line was accusing him of not defeating the dragon. "Incompetent? Damn Mikasa, I wasn't aware I was supposed to walk around thinking 'oh **** maybe I should be careful, the next corner could have an unbelievably annoying sheep', especially not after I'd gone to the place Dale had sent me to. You think you're so good at this? These guys handled themselves fine, they didn't need me. But even if they had, at least i was here. You always seem to piss off and go find something else to do from what I've heard" Gexln responded.

He turned to look at the others there. "Ignore what she says. If you couldn't handle it, you wouldn't be here. We'll be fine, just keep going forward with the mission" the dragon slayer stated. Glaring at Mikasa, he started walking past her. "I defeated a dragon before you were even part of the guild, and I'd beaten the S-class trials younger than anyone else except maybe Quinn, so you can shut your hole before I shut it for you. If you wanna fight I'll take you on after this, but don't you dare come here on my mission and try to get in my way of finding out what happened to the dragons. You get between me and that, and not even Evanora will be able to stop me from tearing you apart limb from limb. Come on guys, lets get this thing over and done with" he hissed angrily, before walking past Mikasa and into the building, ignoring her warning.

"Trap or not, we kicked its ass. And we'll do it again. Those lizard things don't scare me, I'm going with Gexln" Gaius said. He started walking past Mikasa, before he stopped and laughed. Turning around, he opened his mouth to speak. "Besides, it's not like we have anything better to do is it? If you're scared just wait out here and we'll come back for you Mikasa" Gaius teased, a friendly jab before he laughed once more and wandered into the building, following behind Gexln.

Yana Aegrum stood in a forest just outside of a cave near Kaer Morhen. She was with Anabelle, her loyal minion, who was also unconscious because she'd failed the last test that had happened about half an hour ago. The test had been fairly simple. It was extreme dodgeball, with Yana hurling fireball after fireball at Anabelle. Needless to say, the girl kind of sucked at it, as was indicated by the fact she was passed out on the ground like a little wuss. Yana tossed the water from the bucket of water she was holding at the girl, and then when the girl started stirring a little Yana threw the bucket itself at her. The bucket landed straight on the girl's stomach with a light thud. "You can't even dodge that? How are you going to stay alive if you can't even dodge a bucket?" the witch criticized.

She waited for Anabelle to get up, and she hated doing that, but once the girl was up she wasted no time in getting down to business. She held up her right hand and giggled a little bit as a dark fireball appeared in her hand. "Now I'm going to throw this teeny fireball at you, and you're going to block it with your statue thing that you can do. And if you can't do that then your clothes are going to catch on fire, then you'll be naked, and then I'm going to send you into town to buy more clothes all on your own, still completely naked. So you might want to stop them. Or don't, I don't care" the witch said with a sadistic grin before hurling the fireball straight at Anabelle.

Zach Strowl stood on the farm, doing very little at that point. He was feeding his chickens to make them fat and edible, but also to produce eggs that he'd be able to sell in town for money. Mainly for eggs, but a good meal was all the kid was after. He also wanted to rid himself of the curse of the moon, but after looking for years he'd been unable to find anything. With a yawn, Zach wandered over to the fencing and sat down next to it, his legs folded beneath him much as a dog would do. It was one of many bad habits he'd picked up after all the werewolf transformations, unfortunately. And were those fleas he could feel on his back? God damn fleas, he hated them with a passion. With a sigh, he crossed his arms and just sat there, waiting for thursday's dinner to finish eating their food so he could move on and go into town as he usually did every wednesday.

Callum Crux, Witcher of Kaer Morhen, sat in a corner of a bar, simply drinking his alcohol. He was up to his sixth glass, but he wasn't feeling it too much. He hated being a Witcher sometimes. Alcohol was a poison, but he needed it because there were memories and feelings inside of him that he needed to kill. Death surrounded him everywhere he went. When he was a young boy, he'd often been the survivor of horrific incidents, but the way things were now that he was a fully fledged Witcher....he was more often than not the cause of them. Taking another gulp of his drink, he sat down the glass and ignored the looks he was getting from the people in the bar. He was used to them looking at him with disgust, what did he care? They were only people, and people kind of sucked.

    Gender: Male
    Race: Werewolf
Appearance: Here for regular appearance, and here for what he looks like as a werewolf.
    Bio:
At a young age, Zach Strowl lost his parents. They were hunted down on suspicions of being werewolves. The accusations were wrong, for they were only humans, but this didn't stop humans from cornering them and impaling them on blades of silver. This left a young Zach Strowl to grow up alongside his brother, Matthias. Matthias was a couple of years older than Zach, and so the role of guardian fell to him. Matthias was arrogant and had a very short temper though, and while he protected Zach for several years after the death of their parents, he made plans to avenge their parents and kill the werewolf that had been killing people and framing his parents.

Matthias went missing for about a week, and Zach had to fend for himself, running the farm on his own. When Zach's older brother returned, he brought news of the werewolf's death. Matthias had indeed slain the werewolf, but he hadn't gotten away unscathed. Unknown to Zach, Matthias had been bitten and had the curse of the werewolf passed onto him. Things went on as usual for the next few days, and then the night of the full moon arrived. Matthias went crazy, killing many of the animals they had on the farm before he turned to Zach. The rabid werewolf struck his brother down, creating a small scar on the right side of his face, before biting his shoulder and passing the curse onto him. Matthias then left and ran away, never to return.

Years went by with Zach living a relatively normal life. As normal as a werewolf could have, anyway. He made sure to cover his tracks well when he lost control of his werewolf state, and while he never gained complete control over it he did manage to get a small amount; enough that he was able to stop himself going on murderous rampages. He did what he could to maintain this lifestyle, farming on the outskirts of the town known as Novigrad, but one thing was always on his mind: Where had Matthias gone, and why hadn't he finished Zach off that day?
