Namine looked down at the ground, having not heard Roxas's grunt. "I have to get going," she said softly, rising to her feet. She glanced over at Riku before her sight went back to Sora, who was now looking at her. "Have to take care of Ty," she said with a weak smile. She would like seeing her loyal pet again, but she wasn't looking forward to the mess she would surely have to clean up.
Yeah. =/ Oh well, I'll figure it out...someday.
Namine kept her eyes on the television, though she wasn't paying attention to the program. She really did have to get going; Ty was hungry, and she was sure that he probably had an accident in the house. She frowned at the thought, lifting a hand and tucking back a strand of her long blond hair. It was time to go.
Yuppers...
Sora came into the living room, seeing two people awake and the third asleep. When Namine saw him and gave him a soft smile and a wave, he silently returned it, going to sit on the couch with her since it was the only seat open. He sat down on it and looked to the television, trying to figure out what program his friends had on.
Yuppers. =) But man, this fanfic is moving slow now. =/ Hard chapter.
Sora walked out of the bedroom and turned around once he was out, softly shutting the door behind him so Kairi could sleep in silence. He then started down the hall towards the living room, noticing that the door to the guest bedroom was open. That must have meant that Namine was up. Namine sat on a couch in the living room, her eyes on the television screen. She hadn't been awake for long, but as soon as she woke up, she knew that she had to head home soon to take care of Ty. However, she planned on waiting a few minutes just in case Roxas woke up. If he did wake up, then she would tell him where she was going before she left for home. If not, surely Riku would pass on the message for her.
Watched a TV show with my mom, then worked on my fanfic for a little. =)
Now that he was on his feet, Sora felt as if it would be awkward for him to stay and wait for Kairi to sleep. His soft smile stayed on his lips as he turned and headed for the door, the brunet wanting to give Kairi some peace and quiet so that she could rest well.
Yeah, I suppose so.
Sora turned around, ignoring the aching of his battle wounds as he looked to the girl on the bed. "Sweet dreams," he said quietly, offering Kairi a soft smile at the same time. He hoped she didn't have any more nightmares, but if she did, he would come running back, just like he had last night.
Aww, I'm so sorry. =(
Sora gently brought his arm back from around Kairi's shoulders, bringing it to his side and then setting his feet off the side of the bed, the teen rising to his feet. Kairi would surely be more comfortable laying down for a while, and he would go take care of his other friends while she slept.
Aww. :( I had been meaning to ask you about the kitty.
Sora opened his eyes after a few minutes, having figured out something that was bothering him. He looked down at Kairi, giving her shoulder a light rub, since his arm was still around her. "Babe? You look pretty tired. How about you lie down and get some rest?" She looked as if she could fall asleep on him again, but he wanted to get up and see if any of his other friends were awake. He had to be considerate of them too, since they were guests in his house.
Why are you sad? =/
Sora shut his eyes, exhaling a soft breath as he leaned his head against the headboard of the bed. He wasn't sure what to make of this silence; it didn't seem overly tense, but it wasn't peaceful, either. He wondered why that was, but he would try to figure it out himself before he talked to Kairi about it.
Hello again. =)
"Sure," Sora said softly, glancing at Kairi before he looked back down for the millionth time. He was going to try and be more honest with Kairi, not that honesty had been the biggest problem. Being open, now there was the issue. He had thought it would be good to not let her in on things, and as much as he didn't want her to know the ugly truth of his four months away, he finally realized that she had a right to know.
Sora kept his gaze downward, not sure what to say now. He wasn't sure if Kairi was thinking about some things, or if she was really unhappy with his answer. Well, whatever the case was, he wasn't going to break the silence; he had said everything he had wanted to say.
