Mike, like I said before if it wasn't for you I would have probably never pursued voice acting as a hobby. To see you say this is the equivalent to seeing a hero give up personally. Ok I'll admit it you are my voice acting hero, whenever I land a role in a voice acting project I instantly do a mental thank you to you and one other person. Now as for going further/making a career out of this I'm not really sure how to do that. I would think it requires a lot of skill and also a very great amount of luck. Maybe you should try thinking in a broader scope, instead of the specific voice acting. What I mean is instead of trying to make a career out of voice acting, try making a career of acting in general. There are many other forms: Theater, TV, Movies, etc. and when you make a name for yourself you can specify it back to voice acting again. Some voice actors actually started out doing acting in general then moved on to strictly voice acting.
"Ven...Ven...Can you hear me Ven? I've taken over Terra's body and I will complete my mission...OVER!" *radio static* "Is that you Old MX-man? I have no idea what you mean it's been 10 years since your last transmission, over and out" *radio static* Lol it sounds like a conversation over the radio idk. But anyway Newkidaye did a great job voicing Master Xehanort his delivery sounded a bit too animated for me though. Also Mike for your Ventus I say "Gooob" (Check my youtube comment for what that means).
Yes, there isn't a lot of opportunity, you're always competing with someone, you never really settle down, and unless you make a name for yourself the pay isn't that great either. But in return you always have something new to look forward to everyday, you get to meet a lot of people, and it never gets boring. Plus you're entertaining people, giving them something to take their mind off their lives and transport them to something beyond their imaginations.
Lol yeah and he's pretty interactive with the people who comment/subscribe (vlogs, replies to comments, etc.).
I thought this was pretty inspirational so what do you do with inspiration? Share it!
Hey Jayn don't wanna put any pressure on you or anything but did you receive my lines for this (and the extra lines for Smiling) via Email? Just wanna know since the deadline is tomorrow and if you didn't receive them I could just resend them or something.
I chose attack when I first played through...not sure why probably because I never thought about it and just wanted the one that killed things faster. Now however I would probably pick magic since KH2 is pretty easy so I usually mix in Magic attacks with my combos just to keep things interesting.
Oh don't get me wrong I'm completely neutral here, when it was a tie I didn't want to give anyone a vote because that would break my standing as a neutral person. Now that it is not a tie I want to bring it closer to neutrality...let's just say I'm rooting for both of you! Atiragrame3 you get your man girl! Excasr you get your man boy!
As everyone said I really hope this isn't all there is to the 10 year anniversary. I mean Nomura said something about an HD test, these games have nothing to do with HD. Though I think the price is normal over there, the price for things in Japan when converted to US Dollars is a bit more than what it is for North America, so basically while the bundle would be $195 dollars there will be cheaper if it were to be sold in the US.
OMG I was like wait...I auditioned for something? Then I was like OH YEAH! And I rushed over to VAA and confirmed lol. Thanks for letting me know!...
Hmm...I'm not against the idea, I mean if they made the game with more polish I would definitely like it more (the only thing I didn't like about the game was the combat gameplay, yeah it was KH2ish but the combat didn't feel satisfying). Plus with the added storage space you could add more voiced cutscenes. But if they're making an updated version shouldn't it be Re:358/2 Days? I mean just to keep in with the Kingdom Hearts naming tradition, what you described is basically a remake.
Welcome! You sound very upbeat I'm sure you'll fit in quite well! Not quite sure what else to say, this is probably the first time I welcomed someone to the site...oh hey you're the first person I welcomed! Congrats! XD
Hey guys not sure if you know but there's a demo for this game out on the Japan PSN Store, just played it. Gameplay-wise it's pretty much the same as Storm 2 though with some changes such as log substituting now has a bar different from the Chakra bar. You get 4 at the start of a match and it refills as time passes so you won't see as much spamming the block button. The way you execute one is also different in that the button doesn't have to be pressed the exact moment an attack hits you and is generally much easier to do, if you're getting hit simply tapping L2 once will execute one. (also the L2 button is a substitute/block button while the R2 button is strictly block). That's about the only obvious change in the gameplay aside from new combos that I see right now (I also can't read Japanese so there are probably others). And yes it does follow the manga story though it's a bit different from the way Storm 2 does it. It was pretty much just jumping from one scene to the next with a Narrator introducing the scene and some light voice acting by the characters, also the scenes were more of a slideshow of pictures. The scenes/gameplay scenerios include Naruto vs. Sasuke at Orochimaru's lair, Sage mode Naruto vs Pain at the obliterated Konoha, and Naruto vs. Tobi at the snowy place, sorry forgot what it was called the one where the Kages meet. So it looks like we'll get a retelling of some of the stories in Storm 2 along with some of the newer stuff.
Aww the tie is broken I was hoping it would continue I love suspense. Anyway I'm voting for Atiragrame3 just to bring it one more vote closer to a tie. No hard feelings Excasr just wanna set the competition in balance again, you have a wonderful singing voice btw. XD
Oh wow it's 50/50 right now the competition is fierce!...I think I'll just sit back and watch.
Baby♪, Baby♪, Baby♪, Baby♪, etc. Lol that was stuck in my head for awhile, in fact it is my official Tetris playing music (Try it! It works surprisingly well XD) Anyway Yeah I got P3FES and Persona 4, they're both awesome! I'm almost done with P3FES The Journey and somewhere in the first month in Persona 4. I had to go back to a previous save point though in P3FES because I was just not ready for the final boss (I really wish I could control my party members like in Persona 4! Or apparently in P3P too) so I decided to aim for Lvl 99 before I go back, but it's kinda unmotivating thinking about the grind there lol, but that's JRPGs for you. Maybe during Summer Break I'll get back to it.
"Including Killer Bee's First Single!" LOL Well now I have to get this game because I wanna hear that ninja rap! But seriously it does look pretty awesome, I bought the other 2 and was never disappointed. However, Tales of Graces F also comes out the same day and I feel I have to support that game since the series is on the verge of becoming Japan only. Though if I find myself with some extra money I'll definitely get it. I am a bit concerned about the story though, is it an original story or is it sticking to the actual story? I mean I doubt CyberConnect2 will disappoint with the cutscenes and gameplay, but in my experience original stories of anime video games (especially Shonen Jump anime) are a bit disappointing.
I just finished TWEWY (Definitely one of the greatest games on the DS if you have a DS you must have this game!) and the ending song made me tear up a bit along with the scenes shown. Though I have a feeling the composer had nothing to do with that song similar to how Utada Hikaru's songs are probably separate from Yoko Shimomura...aside from the orchestrated versions. Still the other music was also pretty awesome, 3 minutes clapping is my favorite, play it when I open the menu in-game, play it while voice acting, play it while typing this, play it EVERYWHERE! Anyway looking forward to this, 3D is just getting better and better with each piece of news that comes out! XD
It's been about 11 days since the last post so I'm not sure if this is still going on? o.O Anyway I do have some events to add (though this is all based on me using the search function lol): 2/5/2009- KHV Fan dubs is born. Auditions for the 358/2 Days Fan Dub Production are held. 9/6/2009-Auditions for the Birth by Sleep Fan Dub Production are held. 12/21/2011-Auditions for the Dream Drop Distance Fan Dub Production are held. ...Somewhere between the Birth by Sleep fan dub and the Dream Drop Distance fan dub I KNOW THERE WAS A RE:CODED FAN DUB! Well there were also some auditions held for when a new trailer showcasing new characters popped up but I figured I should keep it limited to when each production first started. Oh yeah and: 1/25/2007-greater_bloo joined kh-vids...to download some videos for his Kingdom Hearts AMVs! (That he doesn't make anymore! XD)
Gonna send some lines in! Actually I already sent them since everyone is singing those lines lol. But yeah just letting you know here as well since I didn't post it earlier. Looking forward to the final video!
