And remember, it's Saturday in New Zealand right now. There are no news reports of New Zealand being cast into hell, so I think we should be good.

Craig Ferguson, a macho black guy playing a tambourine, a scrawny shirtless guy playing a Guitar Hero guitar, a rabbit puppet, and crocodile puppet, Geoff Peterson (the robot skeleton sidekick), Adam Savage in an astronaut suit, and Jamie Heineman dancing to "Melt With You."

My order of preference of Late-Night TV hosts:
    Ferguson
Kimmel (solely for his godly skits/sketches)
    Letterman/O'Brian
    Fallon
    Leno

    ...It's been a while since I've seen it. ._.

I do agree it's for the best. If they wanted to, they could technically work in Orlando's character, but I recall hearing him say that he believed Will's story was over.

From my understanding, Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightly aren't in the movie at all. I mean, they pretty much summed up the rest of their story at the end of the third film. Elizabeth waits on an island and raises a child while Will's doing all the "lololol I'm Davey Jones" thing, and then they basically go at it once every 13 years. o.o

I'm not sure if you've ever played Paper Mario on the N64, but the instrument that comes in at 3:19 - 3:42 sounds exactly like some of the Paper Mario songs. You made me nostalgia-gasm. :'3

    Dragon Wars: D-War

Seriously, I watched it last night, and I swear it was like a 1950s B-movie made in the 21st century. I laughed. So. Hard.

Take that, vinegar and baking soda volcanoes.

Seriously though, I wouldn't necesssarily bet money on him just yet, but I do think it's worth giving a looksee. I'm glad a professor at the University of Toronto is actually letting him continue his work. From my understanding, Cystic Fibrosis isn't a pleasant thing to live with, and there's no cure and not much if any treatment available.

I live in Canada and have never heard about this. From the article that Patman posted, it looks like it was a great exaggeration of what was actually discovered. It goes from being a report about a new treatment for a specific type of cancer, to being a cure for cancer in general. :/

To be completely honest, I told myself I wasn't going to see it. I love the Black Pearl with all my heart. But the other two just didn't stand up to the first movie at all, and I kind of felt that they were going downhill. Of course, the (Cap'n) Jack Sparrow-isms make the movies (the whole "I've got a jar of dirt" thing makes me all warm and fuzzy inside c: ), but the stories themselves just weren't doing anything for me. To be clear, I do still like the second and third movies, I just feel it would have been better as a one-movie kind of thing. :/

But when I saw that On Stranger Tides has an 8.3 rating on IMDb, I was all like "whaaaa". That's a reeeaaaally good rating for IMDb (it would put it up in the top 250 if it stays consistent). So.... heck, I'd see it regardless, but I think this one may make up for the second and third movies.
