    "Haaagh!"

The judge fell off his chair in pain, falling to the ground and twisting awkwardly, as a loud "SNAP!" sound was heard. Wincing, he used the last of his strength to slam his gavel.

    "A one-hour recess, effective immediately."

With that, he fainted, and the security quickly carried him to the medical ward.

OOC - I was reading this whole thing while listening to a song I mixed from the Orchestrated Cornered themes. It was freaking epic. I'll upload the song to youtube in a bit. *cough*

    IC -

The judge's expression was one of amazement. The discourse between the prosecution and the defense was a sight to behold. He coughed, as he thought about the situation.

    "..."

He sighed as even the witness now challenged the defense.

"Mr. Xelax, do you have as explanation as to why the witness chose to run instead of using one of those Dark Corridor things?" he asked, narrowing his eyes. "Because, if you do, I'm going to have to look at the current situation in a new light."

    The judge sighed.

"That would be a tad inconvenient to the current witness, would it not?" the judge stated flatly. "If you refuse to cross-examine the witness now, I'm afraid you'll lose the chance to do so later as well."

Given this, could this be why the game freezes when you put a character like that in slot 1 without modifying the others first?

    The judge nodded.

"Such is to be expected from a group of people who cannot feel emotions. It's not a stretch to think that they couldn't feel loyalty to each other either." he sighed, then looked at the defense. "It's your move, Defense. Ponder wisely."

    Nudity =/= Hentai. :\

And if you good give a good reason why you'd have clothes after escaping from a research facility where you were being used as a test subject, then please, give an alternative. =D

Elfen Lied was hands down the most psychotic, violent shoujo anime there ever was. And the nudity was only in two episodes, the first, where she escaped, and, well, another part that's a bit of a spoiler.

But there's also that one other anime. Hellsing Ultimate. If that isn't psychotic, I don't know what is. I mean Alucard is freaking wow.

The judge furrowed his eyebrows at Harvey.

"Beware the mind-taker, Birdman, else he'll be eating your crest for dinner. Does the witness's resistance or escape have anything to do with any of the charges placed on the current defendant?" he asked, not seeing the relevance of the Prosecution's question.

He drummed his fingers as he awaited a response.

My battle style is simply that - a style for battle. All opponents shall fall to it. BWAHAHAHA!

It's usually Attack, then Cure when necessary, Guard+Counterattack Physicals, Evade or Reflect Magic Attacks [Depends heavily on the Magic Attack used against me. I WILL spam Reflega on Larxene and Seph, but for Roxas and Terra I hardly ever use it at all]. The only offensive magic I use is Thundaga. My other shortcuts are Magnega, Reflega and Curaga. And yes, I'm not above Magnega + Thundaga, but I only use Magnega if I'm surrounded by lesser enemies.. so...

:\ Basically, I have everything set-up so I can vary my style at will and I won't get stuck on a boss or something because I got accustomed to playing a certain way.

The judge woke up with a start upon hearing the ruckus caused by Sora, Donald and Goofy.

Rubbing his eyes, he looked at everyone with a sheepish grin.

"Sorry about that, now where were we?"

    OOC -

:\ See, the thing is, we're using the simplified Ace Attorney rules so that things would run smoother. Also, ingame, the prosecutors don't really do much on their own, it's sorta scripted, and, as such, I believe provisions should be made to accomodate this. I say that the bullets points/paragraphs remain, and both the prosecution and defense may press the witness and object to their statements; with first preference going to whichever side summoned the witness. >.> It wouldn't be a 'cross'-examination if it wasn't done by both sides, now would it? So it should go something like...
1] Witness takes the stand an gives testimony.
2] Whoever summoned the witness can press them for further info as required. The opposition may object to the relevancy, whatever.
3] When the side that summoned the witness is content with the information gleaned, the opposing side may then press the witness till they are satisfied, with the side that summoned the witness objecting as necessary.
4] Both sides content, the witness can leave the stand, and the case can continue.

    How's that?

Also, 5th granted, because it's a valid part of the Ace Attorney rules. Though, good luck to anyone who actually decides to use it. It's been proven that the prosecution can bend any lack of testimony to their will as well.

EDIT - Also, why is Axel charged with the "Attempted Murder of Roxas", and yet "Murder of Vexen" seems to be missing?

"Please, proceed with your cross-examination of the witness."

The judge leaned on his hand, propping himself up with his elbow, eyeing the antics of the prosecution. For a confuddled mess of a trial, it was quite interesting to note that there was someone who could manipulate memories in their midst. He'd have to make note of that for later.

He coughed and awaited the girl's testimony.
