*glass shatters* Nuu, don't hate meh. Even if I do have an annoying knack for finding them. X.x; Also, Forsaken... there's another little glitch I found. You can bring up the menu after GX kicks the crap out of you, while he's talking to 'his highness [Press the Menu button in-between dialog boxes]'. And during the Lost Souls splash-screen too. =| Edit Glad to be of service. And yay Dash Button.
Five bucks says it's the guy who was like "Nooo Zack! I can't believe you've done this!" in the beginning. Also, Forsaken, I tested your latest demo. No more cat problems, Vivi's mom is hella useful this time around [God that sounded wrong] and Dearly Beloved worked perfectly this time. o_O Buuut, I ran into a glitch. And I swear, I didn't hack the game. Honest. Coder's honor. Now I'm pretty sure there's only supposed to be one Vivi there. =| Mine's the stronger one. [In terms of HP, anyway.] =o I'mma see if I can get this to happen again, but I think I know why it does already. Edit - Almost forgot. Please do the world a favor. Make Vivi's mom give you an item that lets you run faster while you hold the cancel button. Pleeease. ^.^
Oh dear, we wouldn't want you becoming debilitated now would we... Tell ya what, we won't hack your game and let you know that we did. =D Just kidding. Keep it up.
So, just for ease of use and to summarize: 1] Worlds were one -> 2] Worlds get split up and locked off from one another -> 3] Locks mysteriously become undone and Heartless are able to break through and start devouring worlds -> 4] Sora locks them again -> 5] Sora makes new pathways -> 6] Whatever happens in the Future of KH. 2 and 3 are somewhat unaccounted for, as Heartless can't unlock keyholes, and someone had to split the worlds and lock them. =|
The end boss'll be Riku. Definitely. But Sora might be an optional boss, a la the fight against the soldiers in Crisis Core.
That's a good point. If they were unlocked before, that means someone not only locked them, but unlocked them again. =|
I didn't see this thread until today... I really need to get out of the code-vault more... Ugh... I keep saying that and never do it. XD Anyway, great game. However, there are a few glitches I noticed while I was playing: 1] The cat. =| It's solid, you can't walk through it, and it tends to lock you in corners. Also, maybe you should have made the old lady herself an event on the same level as the hero, instead of an event underneath the her behind the old lady. 2] The piano. I had to talk to it twice before Dearly Beloved started playing. =| Is that a coding error, or was my PC just lagging. Though it's not a glitch, maybe you could put some obstacles that discourage someone from attempting to walk to the next map on a square that doesn't have the next map event. Or, you could copy and paste the event to the other squares, that might work. Also, some of the backgrounds seem to be... uh... a bit too large. I mean, that door was 5 times the size of Zack. But all in all, this is shaping up to be pretty good. Keep it up. We coders'll be glad to hack this to bits when you're done. [Not sure how you feel about that, but meh.] =D
... I'd be the one leading the heartless... =S Thanks for letting me know what you all are gonna do. XD
... =o... Raiden uses an HF blade, and his stance is very similar to Riku's. Sorta. Did I mention he's a white haired bishie?
Es Raiden, de Metal Gear Solid 2. And 4. =|
In all his glory. April Fools. =P
*Re-watches Cutscene* ... So he does... I wonder... Can he split his keyblade like Sora can?
Sephiroth stopped being the hardest boss in the game since Limit Form and LV99 Roxas. XD I C Stupid People. No, no, no. It doesn't disappear specifically because of that. Like how they tend to disappear both times Roxas gets owned, and is still somewhat concious. He can't use them, so they disappear. I myself can't recall this happening with Sora, but... Sora slices through buildings and stuff with a Kingdom Key... =S Mickey is probably in the same position that Sora was in. Also, Xehanort, is wielding a chained keyblade. While TAV are not. Mickey is clearly training under Yen Sid. While TAV are not. Or maybe they are. I dunno, I doubt it. =S I mean, Mickey isn't even a King yet. BBS is too confusing right now. XD But anyway, Xehanort clearly knows the difference between a chained, and non-chained keyblade, and chooses to equip himself and his apprentice with them, later regretting the latter, supposedly. Riku was busy being Rikunort, in which form he wields the second Soul Eater. Kairi's keyblade may well have been Way to the Dawn with a different keychain attached. Like anyone would let Jack Sparrow or a cameo FF character wield a keyblade. That'd be alot of fangirls' wet dream, mind you. And yet again, while reading your post, Xiron, I get another random inspiration for a theory. Stop doing that, dammit. =|
Wrong. People are just going to call it Days. Like they've already started doing. XD
No. However they themselves are referred to as keyblade apprentices. ... o_o; Uh, I don't get what you're trying to say. X.x The closest thing to a name we have from Nomura is "Artificial Keyblade". Also, 'gratz on getting Premium, ICSP. Enjoy the boredom. Btw, want a sig and avy to go with that usertitle?
The matters of God are not the matters of man. As such, whether or not God exists should not be a problem for anyone but those who seek the truth. Either way, I believe in people. According to religious scripture, God gave humans free will, and as such, good people are good of their own right, and evil people are evil of their own right. In effect, God's existance doesn't affect our everyday lives. =S Oh yeah, IIRC, a certain religion was completely rewritten in order to brainwash slaves and peons that they should accept that they are poor and being taken advantage of, and should not quarrel or fight or attempt to make life better for themselves. Anyway, I've dodged the question for too long. Denying oneself the truth stops one's development. I'd rather not be an insane old bat at the age of 45. =S Does a doctor tell a mother her son is going to die, and nothing can be done to save him? Yes. And for the same reason. Whoever said that a lie is sometimes better than the truth is an idiot. Lies hinder progress. Like the mother, having been told, has time to comes to term with it, in the case that a cure is not found in time. Also, I abhor the practices of certain religious figures who fraudulently abuse their position in order to make money and obtain special favors. This would put a definite stop to it, no? My point is, either way, yes. I would. With no regrets. ... o_O Uh... You fail to realize that not all people are nice because they're afraid of hell. In fact, why would someone be afraid of hell in the first place? And lol at 4, btw. Adulterers would get the snot beaten out of them by their spouses. Priests lie all the time. I'm being offensive to jews right now. You hate the devil, don't you? Without evil, good cannot exist. Going to hell isn't a problem if you live a good life. =S
... I'll be back in a bit. You brought up some stuff that I seem to recall reading about... Not in this thread of course. XD Edit - Thank you, Xiron. You've aided me in the construction of a new theory. However, I will now, gratefully, correct your mistakes. No, the evidence we have is that Nomura called them Apprentices, while he referred to Xehanort as a master. This is a case of BCSS [Because Creator Said So] for now. =S While your analysis is valid, you missed one thing. Keyblades disappear before they can sustain such damage. Terra proves that their keyblades are indeed summonable, but the fact that they have to be conciously banished when not in use tells us something. Ven was clearly alive at the end of the trailer. The keyblade should have reformed automatically. *exhales* This one, is a tough one to fully explain, but, let me refer to what Nomura stated about the keyblade... Specifically, one that was created during the course of the games; Riku's keyblade, the Way to the Dawn. Pay attention to the bolded parts. 1.] There is more than one type of keyblade. 2.] There is currently no explanation, but Nomura also stated that "However, less obvious conditions still exist and there are still plans for an opportunity to reveal those." 3.] "Soul Eater's transfer and occurence". As in, Way to the Dawn, was originally Soul Eater. As in, Soul Eater became a keyblade, and one with a keychain attached. What does that tell you? 4.] >_> It's been stated many times, and this time, by Nomura himself, that other people can wield another person's keyblade. You're misinterpreting the purpose of the keychain slot. They were apprentices, being trained by a true master of the keyblade, who obviously knew how it worked. Therefore, their weapons, had a provision for the eventual day when they became full-fledged keyblades. [Way to the Dawn proves this unnecessary, but also provides insight as to why they're there] But yeah. Keychains are very important, and apparently must be earned through experiences which engrave memories into the wielders minds. Or, their hearts weren't strong enough. Plotwise, I think the growth system has something to do with this. Anyway, I hope I've cleared up those things. Don't hesitate to ask if I haven't. =D
Friend of mine wouldn't shut up about the Cloud vs Sephiroth thing, and went on and on about Sora and stuff. I was like, "Chyeah, whatever, like a game about some kid with a giant key, running around the universe with Goofy and Donald could ever be that good." Back then, I was all Devil May Cry fan-brat. Then he said the game was as good as, if not better than Devil May Cry. I doubted that, and let him know it, but then he smacked me with the "You won't know it if you don't play it~!" thing. So he loan me his copy of Kingdom Hearts 1, pat me on the back, and left me there, grumbling at a shiny PS2 game box. [o_O It was like, holographic and stuff, I was like, wtf?!] So, I went, played it, and 2 and a half games later, here I am, milking Kingdom Hearts 2 and Final Mix to death, while waiting eagerly on edge for Birth By Sleep and Days. <_< I mean, wtf, I hacked the game past its limits. Only one other game had that honor, and that was MegaMan Zero 3. Oh well, I guess I'm glad for good friends. XD
*blink blink* What's a desktop mascot?
<_<; MP + Blue Bar = Magic Points HP + Green Bar = Health Points LM + Yellow Bar = Limit Meter [<_< The fact that it's yellow is the biggest sell out. XD] ... Hn? You mean Fatal Mode? Where Terra goes all "Spastic Desperation Move" and magically starts doing Limits by himself? We can do this one of two ways. We can: A] Say Riku learned it was possible on his own, but realized it wouldn't be possible for him without Xehanorts heartless. or B] We say Xehanort's Heartless is a lazy ******* and doesn't actually fight you, because he's too busy folding his arms an pouting, spouting off and mouthing various things while you fight his... thing. =P Btw, I'm one of the few who thinks Xehanort's body degenerated over time into the black heartless thingy, and that's how he possessed Riku.
