Think of it as what it is: destroying your weak, pathetic beginning form to be reborn, a muscular, sweaty butterfly of a being.
I forget if I've asked, but you don't have a gaming PC yet right?
Not gonna bother with unreleased games that don't even have release dates yet (surprise they're Square titles mostly) Overwatch Dark Souls III Fire Emblem: Fates Pokken Tournament
That's why I like the idea of having options in matchmaking for what platforms you're playing with. By giving people choices, they don't really have grounds to complain about games being unfair, and I just like having more control available in general. I remember reading about SCUF controllers. A good idea altogether. Anyway, I'm really glad Rocket League got as big as it is to finally push Microsoft over to this decision. I'm certain there have been other games before that were nudging them toward it, but not as successful as Rocket League.
hey it's me your brother
Honestly I can't say for sure if you'll become immersed like I did. I love the gothic horror and orchestral scores and monsters and trick weapons and sense of dread, so I felt it was very immersive. I just can't tell you whether you'll like the core gameplay enough to keep your engagement. Hits, both to and from enemies, have an appropriate sense of weight and range. Firearms aren't very useful for damage except for stuff like cannons, but serve as a reward for timing counter-attacks well. If you die holding Blood Echoes (what you use to level up and buy most items and upgrades), you can still get back the amount you had, but only if you reach your blood puddle or kill the enemy who killed you. There's a fantastic sense of level design, since the world is very well interconnected for the most part, enhancing the storytelling. If you have PS+, you choose if you play alone or with others, though there are also some NPC summons who can help you in parts of the game. If you can get any sort of chance to play it first, like from a friend or rental service like Redbox, and you're still uncertain, try to do that first.
Yeah, I was just ranking them as groups. There aren't many cut scenes, and the ones that are in the game are pretty brief. Some of the storytelling comes from item descriptions, some comes from NPC dialogue. I personally really like the story of Bloodborne. New Vegas is generally viewed as the best 3D Fallout game due to its strong writing.
I'm glad that they're finally trying this; having to decide what platform to get multiplayer games has always been super annoying, because I almost always want to play them on PC where they're usually the best looking and best performing, but there have been so few cross-platform games sadly. The only genre I can see that being bad for is FPS, but even then, they should put options in the matchmaking for whether people want to play between those platforms. Good on you, Microsoft. Now stop the app thing on PC.
Starters for me: Gen 3 > Gen 1 > Gen 2 > Gen 5 > Gen 4 > Gen 6 Bloodborne is amazing (gee it's like I like it just look at my theme) It's got such an interesting lore, fantastic aesthetics and music, really satisfying combat, and a lot of just cool stuff. Bloodborne is the game that finally got me into the Souls series; it's to me the fairest, funnest game, with the most interesting world (even if the story isn't as deep as Demons' or Dark 1.) Just be aware: you probably will become frustrated at parts, but it's all about learning how to beat a section or boss more than it is leveling up. The Old Hunters DLC is really good too. Adds a ton of cool weapons and probably my favorite boss fight in the game. Transformers: Devastation I've yet to play, but it's a Platinum game, so expect a really fast, really combo-heavy game that rewards timing and style. Fallout 4...it's a prettier Fallout 3 with somewhat better combat and some great customization at the price of a story to give a damn about and less player choice than ever before. It's not a bad game, but Bethesda Softworks got kind of lazy with the RPG-parts to me and made it more like a shooter with Minecraft appeal. Batman Arkham Knight I've yet to start, but I own it and am excited to start soon. The worst things I've heard are an over-reliance on the Batmobile (which some people didn't enjoy) and an apparently super predictable story. Game looks gorgeous but it's a WB game so it's got a ton of content that's barred behind DLC prices. Xenoverse is a game that looks fun but I've heard is a GIGANTIC grind. I'm waiting for it to drop to $20 before I pick it up.
My Chespin allies. Though I got a Charmander because I am dragon trash.
I'm not at all shocked by this. Warning people of what they're about to read or watch or listen to in order to avoid traumatic responses just sounds decent.
This isn't really the place to post asking to buy consoles. Check eBay or Half.com or Craigslist or something.
Giratina
Well KH being your problematic fave is actually pretty damn good all things considered cause I'm here
I remember playing the Ninja Storm games on PS2, and yeah, I definitely think Ultimate Ninja Storm is a total upgrade over those. I haven't had a chance to play Devastation yet, which sucks because I love everything Platinum does (except Wonderful 101 SO FAR DON'T CRUCIFY ME)
I prefer the Budokai games to Tenkaichi, simply because I feel like the Tenkaichi games lack much depth at all and the characters felt samey to me; the NUNS games achieve a far better balance to me, and Budokai 3 could be a decent fighter on its own without the DBZ IP on it. I'm not sure what else could be done with NUNS though that wouldn't require some major re-hauling. Tacking out the teleportation would make it more fair but less Naruto. Changing some of the supers' hitboxes and tracking would make it more fair but less faithful.
The issue with making anime fighting games is that if you go too far into deep mechanics, it's gonna become a true fighting game, and that means that casuals will drop the game very quickly out of frustration due to how hard it can be to get decent at a true fighting game (I've experienced this firsthand.) Anime games like NUNS tread the line so that people who just like Naruto can enjoy it without feeling too overwhelmed, and people who do want some depth can still enjoy it.
I've played previous NUNS games a bit, but mainly just the Versus stuff. This one I've so far only watched like half of the Story Mode as friends and my brother played it, but I did beat one of them. They used Sasuke; I used Konohamaru
NUNS4 is such a unique acronym. But yeah the game's AI is pretty laughable compared to someone who's played the series for at least a moderate amount of time.
I looked up New exclusives and the only other title is Binding of Isaac: Rebirth. I assume the reason for barely any exclusives is that there just haven't been enough adopters of the New model over the non-New. Making too many exclusives could easily lose out sales, especially if people buy those exclusives but don't have the New system and then feel burned (which would of course be totally their fault but Nintendo's bad name for the upgraded system does not help.) This is basically comparable to the DSi situation, even though the New 3DS is a far better upgrade.
