    Well if it comes to mirror match, usually you win by having Towers or Kernel . And again I don't think Reqliphort is worse. But I know it have possible backfire effect. And I don't like when it can make situation worse for me. It may not, but still there is risk. And yes, Skill Drain can negate Towers and Kernel and LP don't matter in long run, when you can go so fast with this deck.[DOUBLEPOST=1418052612][/DOUBLEPOST]
    Rules haven't changed that much. 2 field spells and you don't get to draw when you go first. Plus pendulum zones. That's all that matters.

    I saw many builds and I personally like this one most. But as I said for me it's a best case scenario. Naturally it involves searching/drawing cards. Plus Assembler gives you too much draw power to not use it. But again in the end, one with Towers or Kernel would win the Qli race, as in basic in case of your deck, if you don't run other monster that can deal with that, you go -1 every turn on never ending wall of pendulum monsters. Reqliphort is not that good, but it's your additional one sided Skill Drain. On other hand Saqlifice is great card that can possibly help you with Towers/Kernel and give you all searches you need. Ehh I guess everybody plays their own way. My deck focuses on speed and getting all the pluses. I guess you prefer to go slower with this deck.

    Also lets talk about best case scenario for meta-Qli build. It involves standard randomized chances, so in arena it could be even Batter.
    Case of going first:
    You set scale with:

    With Scout you add 1 "Qli" card, in this case lets say we go all in:

    Now we pendulum summon 3 regular pendulum monsters from our hand:

    (I personally think its a best combination you can get in your Extra deck)

    Also its worth mentioning that if our opponent activates Maxx"C", he gets only 1 card.
    Now we tribute our Qli monsters for Towers

    And by this moment opponent probably just ragequit. Unless they can do something that can deal with it.
    We use Towers effect to make our opponent discard 1 monster OR look at their hand if they don't have any.
    -End Phase-
    We get to draw 3 card due to Assembler eff (too lazy to paste its eff, just go and look for it on wiki).

    Other available and more often happening case is you ending with similar scale (different monsters, but scale stays at 9-1), 1-2 Qli monsters, having Skill Drain in back-row together with Emptiness. At this point it's all Kyogre now. If we go second it looks similar, but in best case we get Raigeki for more Pendulum butthurt OR just OTK It's too bad that for now I don't see any good Qli FTK strategies (but old good Catapult Turtle may be answer for that).

    Positioning of scales doesn't matter. You can have Scale 9 Qli Scout on left and Scale 1 Qli Assembler and still be able to preform pendulum summon mosters from 2 to 8. Also to make this explanation a little bit more complete; when Pendulum monster is treated as Spell Card, it's not treated as any existing type of Spell (Normal, Quick, Field, etc.). And yes till this point every monster have even Scales on both sides and monsters with two different scales, if they make appearance, they probably gonna be anime exclusive.[DOUBLEPOST=1417991961][/DOUBLEPOST]
    Cost of this summon is hand advantage. You loose cards pretty quickly. And right now only good pendulum decks that can deal with that problem are Qli's and DDD's. And they Level (not rank) matters. But more importantly what matters are their pendulum effects and scales.
    EDIT: Right now there are 40 pendulum monsters (46 if we count illegal cards and 47 if we count twice appearing on list "Flash Knight") that are accessible in game. And most of higher scaled ones have effects that prevents them from being used outside of certain archetype. Also I forgot to mention Yosenju archetype. It also can deal with lack of cards in hand, but it's not pure pendulum archetype.
