Ah... I see. Obvious joke in not obvious enough. Let me fix it so you can understand.
[JOKE]And before Jaden gets his card back, its getting stolen. Again.[/JOKE]
>Prediction level? >Hyy... 99. >Same here.
Tributes for Yubel.
Yeah I'm fine with that. That would breake a ilusion of plot armor, show that they are not alpha and omega of dueling and still alows for going for happy end when they can get card back. Because it won't be that bad if they will rematch opponent to get back card. But if you have orginal idea that won't do exactly same thing as anime do every time I will be more than happy to hear that.
Do you honestly think that doing the exactly same things that anime did is entertaining? Because I don't and you are going for exactly same thing as anime give us every ****ing seson. Somebody steals card and somebody somehow wins it back. That was boring in first series and it continued till Arc V and will continue in future if there will be another one. At least here we can go for something orginal.
Eh... why do we even try to make it interesting and orginal? After all there will be that guy who is not seeking inovation, but stagnation. It called undirect route Jaden. We go for happy ending while adding chance for some development. For example if Silver wins he can just give a little talk about how garbage Winged Hairball is and gave it away (still his deck is focused on power so he have no need for a monster like that) OR keep card, letting Jaden chance to challenge him again, when he can get his card back. Both of example will give you 'happy ending' for this little unecesary Arc and will be more orginal than what they did in smilar examples in anime, which is boring after they use it again. Plus somebody needs to remember you how unrealistic protagonists win streaks are. Even Cokemons do a better job and they lett Ash loose from time to time, when its not necessary for him to win. But hey if you hate sugesting inovation that much just drop out of RP. It will probably die, but why would you care? By doing that you will have chance to fight with evildoers who don't belive that anime is unflawed.[DOUBLEPOST=1417219747][/DOUBLEPOST] Another big flaw of anime.
You getting back Winged Hairball is not a happy ending. After all its not even close to ending. Plus this setup of RP won't allow any endings.
Somebody didn't read "Book of Less Boring Plot Solutions" I see.
Somebody did read "Book of Boring Plot Solutions" I see.
I decided that I'm not going to 'save the future!' with Silvur (intentional misspell) and create character to use. So here he is: vengeful Ghost of past, present and future not-Christmas; owner of the land every character that appeared till now is standing on (unless it's over it).
That won't help. It only opens up more strategies. I think we should go with just keeping players from going all in and stopping each other from almost everything. For example I will take your field from last game. What you had there was full field off monsters and traps. That situation in first turn make it so you can prevent your opponent from making any move if you want to and have good protection. This can be hard to judge what is going overboard an what is not; but for sake of general enjoyment I think we need some limits.
I'm not talking only about that. This duel were quite fair. When I said OTK arena before I stated what this place really is for most of time. I understand that nobody wants to loose, but lets at least allow each other to play. Because what we do now on most of duels here is literately going for unbeatable combos every time. (To make everybody understand what I'm talking about, I had reeded some of older duels on this arena and they weren't enjoyable to read. And purpose of playing here should be having and letting other have fun, not go straight for the win. For that there is real game with random draws.)
"Well I don't mind having guests, but you should at least say hello before going on someone land and threading it like a playground. Ehh... Kids these days." [DOUBLEPOST=1417042892][/DOUBLEPOST] OOC: Look at your (and everybody else) moves until now and tell me they were fair with a straight face. This arena really needs "don't powerplay all the time" rule.
AKA No chance for win conditions.
Okay. So from now on we will have two Silvurs running around in amok.
Hmm I think I will join this RP today with Abby-knows-what-character.
Not funny joke is not funny.
<That crazy moves. It almost don't feel like OTK "duel" arena.>
Well just look at end of Jaden last turn then. It's there.
