Somehow in the midst of everything, Finlay had managed to defeat the Neoshadow that was gripping Ananta. She finally stood up and took a good, deep breath. Her comrades finally finished off the rest of the heartless and she was left to see Steel get attacked by the strange man. Karina had chided the man, but that wasn't enough. Ananta had a look of anger on her face as Steel tried to nonchalantly get the guy off. She decided to take things into her own hands and she ran towards Finlay. Her leg kicked the axes away and she stood over Steel, her keyblades in her arms and at the ready to defend him. "If you can, Steel, get away while I keep crazy off of you." she said to him.

"Whatever you think Steel is, he's most certainly not that. He's a kind guy and a great friend. I'm proud to say he's even my best friend. I care for him and will protect him with my life. So if you want to fight him, you've got to fight me too. Believe me, I'll hurt a lot more than him, too." she said.

Qamar scratched her head. Splitting the party like this was risky. After all, she was taking the only other Master as well as the tank with her. She was practically leaving all the weaker of the group in one small package. Although she did even that out leaving Boreas and Qamar to take care of them. "Master Thallasa, can I vote we have a team leader over here? I suggest...Boreas." she spoke out. "Or Takehiko? Oh and will we get those fancy communicators in case anything happens again?" She asked and stepped over to Thallasa.

Qamar didn't appreciate getting pushed, but she didn't fight it. She ended up back in her room, changing into her new costume. Once she emerged, she looked over to see Glyde didn't participate. "Wow, look at him. Killing the fun." she rolled her eyes and walked back to the living room to find everyone either changed or getting there. In the sky, words appeared and Qamar shrugged. Illiana made some comment about the situation and Qamar tapped her chin. "I guess it could be, Illiana. But as far as we know, they're outnumbered. Most of us have our strength, but we can't really rely on some too much." she commented, glancing over to Torrin. "Though I'd hope they would speak up if they weren't feeling to well, right guys?" she spoke that last part a little louder.

"But I'm fine, Takehiko. We just need to keep an eye on everyone and make up for anybody lacking in strength. The quicker we get this machine broken, the quicker we'll get to kicking that clown's a**" she said, punching her right hand into the palm of her left.

Having heard the response from the rest, Ananta looked over to the sound of a....guy yelling and attempting to run towards Steel? That struck her as odd since he almost looked like he wanted to kill Steel or something. Ananta wasn't too sure if she should go and help. After all, Steel was strong enough, he'd be fine probably. The last time she tried to help somebody, they ended up hating her in the end. But Steel was her friend, he'd probably appreciate at least a familiar face, right? Shrugging, Ananta started to trudge over to Steel. She also wanted to find out if he knew why the guy was trying to get to him.

She stopped upon the appearance of five Darkballs. They seemed to be attached to a Neoshadow in a weird way. Like a string was visibly there, but it was more or less made of darkness. It was amusing, to say the least, and since Ananta wasn't doing much else, she decided to end their little party. She summoned her keyblades and rushed forward, attempting to cut the Neoshadow, but it had began to float upwards by the weight of the balloon heartless alone. Blinking, Ananta looked up to see the Neoshadow was now launched down towards her. It clawed at her, but it was met by her keyblade, causing it to stop. She then stabbed the Neoshadow. The Darkballs were now free and now they wanted revenge for ruining their party. Each Darkball ran into Ananta, hitting her from all sides. Battered and bruised, Ananta fell to her knees. Glaring upwards, she then started to assault each one with a flurry of attacks. Once she was done, she landed on her feet and returned her keyblades. The Darkballs collectively disappeared in puffs of smoke, leaving her to assess the damage.

"Bunch of bruises but...that's it I guess?" she said, dusting herself off of any sand. Her journey continued as she approached Steel and glanced back over to the strange man approaching. "Any idea who that guy is?" she asked, tilting her head. "Do you need help...?" She looked up to Steel. Her eyes caught glimpse of four Darkballs floating about. "I guess we'll just have to wait for the guy to get any answers, huh...?" she said, summoning her keyblades. She the jumped forward and attacked the first Darkball. It went down easily, while an ice spell smacked the second one into oblivion. The third one took a little longer, but it was gone too. The last one just took a single fire spell before it puffed out.

Ananta landed beside Steel and she readied herself in case the man came to attack Steel. "How's the fight been for you? I'd say things were interesting on my p-" she was cut off by a Neoshadow grabbing her and pulling her to the ground. It kept a tight grip on her, covering her mouth as she struggled against it. There was nothing she could do, but her eyes looked at Steel in desperation.

Karina's response was just as Ananta figured it'd be. Luckily for her, Ananta didn't actually get hurt by Karina for once. In fact, her words seemed a lot softer than what she remembered. As if Karina missed the group or something. Ananta smiled, content with what was told to her. She nodded to herself and looked to Karina as her companion spoke about odd things and eventually kissing. Ananta rolled her eyes and realized what was going on. Eventually, Karina had dealt with him and Ananta laughed. "That was funny." she said, summoning her keyblades. "Well Karina, I see you've got yourself a boyfriend, so I'll leave ya to it!" she called out, running off and jumping towards a tree. She landed atop and scanned the battleground, looking for a target.

A group of Darkballs loomed nearby. Ananta took this chance to deal with as many as she could before she ran out of BP. After all, she could injure one...but what was the point? She'd rather not get too tired between assaults, after all. She launched herself in the middle of the heartless and began to dispatch them each. Loud Thunder cracked down as the Darkballs all exploded into puffs of smoke. A single one remained that she didn't actually damage enough for the magic to finish it off. "Oops." she said, rushing after it, stabbing it with Blessed Thief.

Not far from her was Beuce, Stratos, and Aislinn. Not wanting to stand alone for a bit, she decided to join them. "Yo." she called as she slid to a stop on the sand. Unfortunately, she slipped over a stray log that, in hindsight, was obvious for her to see. She fell face first and just kind of stayed there for a long minute. She stood up and dusted off the sand that clung itself to her clothes, hair, and face. "A...Anyway um...how much longer do you guys think this'll last?" she asked, curious. "Oh, right. I can't really run to everyone right now, but I can at least do this." she said, using the MP she had accumulated to heal the three. Luckily she had plenty left, so she wasn't drained completely.

"I got...blown off by Karina. She didn't want to talk to me, but I think she's doing alright." she commented to Stratos and Beuce. "She seemed to be really "friendly" with the guy fighting near her, though. So that probably explains it." She nodded towards Arctus.

Qamar shrugged when Frozone and Elastagirl ended up leaving. Thallasa came by and spoke to the group there and eventually, Edna returned. She was still angry at Torrin, of course, but that wasn't so bad. Considering Torrin probably could have done worse, after all. Either way, Qamar followed the group down a hall and into a room where she was met with mannequins that bore outfits. Each one had a note with their names on them.

Hers was rather garish and caused Qamar to frown. Though she wasn't going to say it out loud, she certainly wished there was more purple in hers. "I guess we take these and go to our respective rooms and get changed, huh?" she asked. "I guess I can figure out how to fit my clothes under these..." she wondered out loud.

Although Kaida hadn't answered Ananta, she decided to leave Kaida and run to see a person who she thought was hurt. Karina had appeared with the rest and, whether or not Ananta was who she cared to see, Ananta was happy to see her again. She figured she could at least say hello to the girl. Even if Karina ignored Ananta, she didn't care. She just wanted to see her again. Ananta ran over and launched herself at an Invisible that was looming over Karina. It fought back and cut at Ananta. She coughed when it eventually punted the hilt of it's sword into her stomach. She slunk down into the ground and held her stomach, her keyblades fell beside her and thumped on the sand. Her hand gripped the sand and a smirk grew across her face as the Invisible came in for the kill.

Her right hand punched the Invisible in the body as she drew her keyblade across it's head. It disappeared shortly after, leaving Ananta to stand up and dust herself off. Her keyblades disappeared and she walked towards her friend. She heard the comments from another boy. Certainly Karina had made friends wherever she went, seeing as she was with this group that came with the third wave. Ananta stopped behind Karina and cleared her throat. "Karina." she started. "I'm so glad you're okay. I was worried I'd never see you again, but look at you! You look so much stronger now. I..." she started to tear up a little. "I'm sorry I was...I was such a bad friend. I should have known you weren't happy I should have been better...please...please forgive me."

Ananta bowed to Karina, not even knowing how the girl would react. She opened her eyes and saw yellow eyes glaring at her from dark pools in the ground. Not even thinking, Ananta got back and pulled both her keyblades out, watching the three Neoshadows emerge from the ground and glare at her. One leapt at Ananta and spun around in the air wildly. Her keyblades blocked the attacks as she struck the heartless down, watching it flatten into darkness and disappear. The next one went back into the ground and tried to attack Ananta from behind. Spinning around, Ananta cast a Fire spell that launched the heartless against a tree. It slid down and a yellow coconut fell, clunking the heartless, and defeating it.

The final Invisible tried to attack Ananta from below. She jumped up and watched it launch upwards. She matched strikes from it and hit it back, slowly descending down before she finally kicked the invisible into the ground. She used her keyblade to stab it and watched it disappear. Ananta closed her eyes a moment and turned back towards Karina. She walked back over and took a deep breath. "As I tried to say before I was attacked..." she bowed once more. "I'm very sorry, Karina. Please...don't hate me..." she spoke, the last part a little lower than the rest, as if she was trying to say it to herself.

The memory racked Daeni's brain and gave her more insight to an earlier memory of hers. She fell to her knee and used her keyblade to keep herself propped up as things started to connect. "I remember...this..." she muttered. The memories connected with Marley's and everything made more sense to her. The reason she saw Chrono there was because Aeuvum was the source of this. Aevum...or whatever, wanted the darkness so bad and now...now they have to stop the result before it escapes.

When the creature developed a face, it's voice echoed through the cave as Daeni got back to her feet and planted herself. It wanted more darkness and it knew there was only one way it could get any more. It set it's eyes on Daeni and she felt an uneasiness in her heart. "Marley..." she muttered, trying to think why her heart ached so much. Things started to connect, but she couldn't believe it. "There is no darkness here!" Daeni screamed out. "The only darkness is you and we're going to destroy you!" Daeni held her keyblade tightly.

Qamar sighed upon hearing Takehiko correct her again, Qamar scratched her head. Thinking to herself as she walked back to one of the rooms, she made a decision to try and not act the way she had been. Walking to the window, Qamar looked out to see Aria and Torrin just chilling out. "I hope he let's her get to sleep." Qamar shrugged, knowing Torrin had it handled. Turning around, she wrapped her arms around her body. "I wish I wasn't like this...why'd it have to end up this way..."

Walking to her bed, she tossed off her shoes and pulled off her skirts. She then untied her hair and placed the bow shakily on the bedside table. Her gloves and jewelry came off next. As she held the rings, bracelet, and armlet, she stared at them. Her head started to hurt and she thought of the day she had bought these. But the man standing next to her wasn't anyone she recognized. She knew the man, but she also didn't know him. The man had dark hair like hers, but that's all she could tell.

Gasping, she dropped the jewelry on the table hard and stared into the mirror. Beads of sweat had formed on her forehead in that time. Her body shook while her hand reached up and touched her eyes. Just as always, they glowed in this darkness and she was able to see herself clearly. Although her head was still pounding, she knew that meant she was remembering something. Something that had been locked up for some reason. "At least I know I haven't completely forgotten those things..." she muttered. "Can...can I really just...forget my life though..." Qamar took a tissue and wiped her forehead. She balled it up and managed to make a shot into the garbage can. "Two points."

Turning around, Qamar stretched out her body, doing moves as if she was a ballet dancer. She hopped over and spun around, trying to clear her mind and trying to make her head feel better. Finally, she slunk to the ground and breathed out. "Tired..." she muttered, closing her eyes a moment. Qamar rose to her feet again and moved to the bed, crawling in and curling up. "I wish I remembered...everything." She turned over and fell asleep.

Light shined through the window and woke Qamar up from her nightmare. "Why..." she said, not understanding any of it. "Master Kide...." she shivered and whimpered, holding herself again. She was always able to talk to him about her nightmares, but now they were a world apart, so how could she even talk to him now? If Thallasa had a way, she'd gladly take it, but she doubted that was possible. She rose from the bed and did her morning stretches before sitting down to meditate. Sadly for her, voices came from outside the room and stopped her from meditating. "Well..." she sighed. "That's a first."

She pulled her clothes back on and glanced at her jewelry again. Closing her eyes, she took a deep breath and fixed her hair up in the mirror. "Whatever." she muttered, turning to leave the room. She heard her comrades speak in their defense. Qamar nodded. "It's true. We're here to help and I think that's all that matters at this point. If we wanted fame or money, we wouldn't just be sitting here. We'd have left earlier and looked for the next big thing. We want to help and that's all." she stated.

I'm pretty strong thanks to his strict training..." Speaking of her Master made her smile to herself. She missed him already, but she'd see him again soon enough. Besides, she needs this training in order to get on the track to be a Master some day.

"Is your Master Atmos or Choma? I'm curious to learn a little about them....oh!" she stood back up. "Actually, we probably need to go to bed soon, huh? We can talk some later if you want, Take."

Are you sure you're old enough to be adventuring with us?" she teased. "I'll try to not be so...uh...that." she said, referring to her earlier actions.

She then sat down on a couch and leaned back. "I don't really think I've said my name, but I'm sure you heard it from Master Aster. My name is Qamar. Aria tells me your name is Take, correct?" she asked. "I just need some talking to help myself sleep...I got really worked up so..."

Qamar walked with Take back to the living room and she immediately felt her foot bump something. While she did trip a little, she ended up kicking the keyblade in frustration. "Yeah a total freaking accident, you slimy wench!" she said in exasperation after Illiana had left. Now that it was only Take and Qamar, Qamar walked around the room in utter frustration. She started to rant.

"Why does he think he can handle everything? Why won't he let anybody help him or something? I want to help too! I hate being left to the sidelines. I thought leaving the castle would let me be able to help people more and get some actual friends instead of a practically mute and antisocial acquaintence." she groaned, not even caring if that last part was unfair to Adalric.

"I just want to help people and be friends with them. Why won't he at least put a little trust into me? I'm trustworthy? Right?" she asked, looking at Take. She ended up glaring at a pillow still on the floor. She then kicked it, watching it zoom out the open window and off into the night. The sound of glass breaking in the distance echoed through the night. "I need to punch something" she said, looking over Take, walking towards him. However, Qamar stopped and sighed.

"I'm sorry." she said, looking at him and seeing the utter confusion in the boys eyes. "He got me really riled up. I don't understand Torrin. I just want to help him....."

Her eyes welled up with tears. "I don't want Aria to get hurt or lose her." she said, her eyes wide as tears fell down her face. "I've seen way too many people hurt already."

Take had intervened and honestly, Qamar listened to him. Take was right about this and it was obvious by now that Torrin wasn't budging. When he explained himself, it at least helped Qamar understand a little better. "Fine...I understand now." she said, looking at Torrin. "And...I'm sorry, Torrin. I think I get why you're adamant about it now...if it's truly important, anyway. Just...try not to be so secretive? I want you to trust me and not treat me as an enemy, okay?" she asked of him. "Trust me in knowing I just want to help. Just don't listen to the words in your head telling you otherwise."

Qamar looked back and saw Illiana. "Alright peanut gallery." she commented and looked at Take. Qamar then put a hand on his shoulder. She was still a little tense from the argument so she looked at him softly. "Let's go talk a little, hm? I want to learn a little more about that stone from earlier." she said, trying to indicate that was code. She then walked with Take.

A dream came to Ananta in her sleep. In the dream, she was on a beach in her world, playing in sand and being taken to the boardwalk where she fell over. At that moment, she opened her eyes and gasped in a deep breath of air. Ananta coughed, as if she hadn't taken a breath in awhile. Coughing and grabbing her chest, she grabbed her crystal and felt the warmth inside was very dim. Her fingers trembled as she realized just how bad her situation was right now. She couldn't use magic for awhile. She was forced to use only physical attacks now. "I...I gotta talk...to Kaida..." she muttered to herself, moving to stand up. She wobbled a little bit, feeling weaker, but her strength was returning gradually at the least so she could fight.

Her eyes wandered the battlefield, seeing it now devoid of the two gargantuan heartless. Thanking her comrades silently, Ananta wandered carefully over to Kaida and looked at her. "Thank you...I...I nearly died there..." she said, avoiding even saying she had basically stopped breathing. She didn't want to make Kaida worry, after all. Besides, all that happened was she had retreated deep into her crystal to heal a little bit. "Sorry if I worried you." she chuckled. "But I can't use magic right now....so please excuse my lack of healing for awhile."

Ananta called her keyblades out and stared down at them. As ridiculous as they looked, they gave her more abilities to deal with the enemies. Though they were all magical...she'd try to make up for it. "Watch my back." she said, running towards two darkballs. They both snarled and zoomed at Ananta. She blocked one of them and slashed at the other. The two heartless were both balloon in structure, so she figured piercing them would cause them to deflate. The first one instantly disappeared and the other one got a little confused by that. Ananta took this chance to dispatch of the second and she chuckled at the sound of air that seemed to seep out of the dark smoke.

"Kaida, I got a question just between us girls." she asked, hopping back. Her breathing was heavy even from that light amount of fighting. Shaking her head, she looked at Kaida. "Um...ok, don't take this the wrong way, I've just noticed the way you act around them. Do you like....like Aux or Hikaru? In more than a deep friendship way? I'm just curious, maybe I'm getting the wrong vibes." she said, looking up to see a darkball zooming down. Ananta stabbed it with her keyblade as five more surrounded the two.

Taking no chances, Ananta quickly attacked the darkballs. One by one they were dealt with before she landed on her feet, falling to her knee. "Ugh..." she groaned, losing her keyblades as her hands hit the sand.

Qamar listened to Torrin and tapped her chin. "Well, you're sounding pleasant. What, did I hit a nerve? If anything, you're being an a** right now. Certainly not acting very Masterly to me." she stated. "Of course, you don't have a Master. So how did you become a Master if you don't have a Master?" she asked, not really expecting an answer. "And a specific set of skills...sure, and that helped you so far? If you have those skills, why haven't you solved her problem yet?"

Qamar cocked her head to the side. "As it is, you're being really mean for no reason, Torrin. Perhaps stepping back and taking a deep breath before attacking somebody verbally is a good idea. Besides, I don't think Aria would be too happy if her boyfriend was making enemies with everyone." she said, not moving. "Look, don't take this the wrong way, but I can swear to you that I can protect her. If you're as capable as you say you are, sleeping after talking to her is your best bet. I understand your worries, but you'll die if you don't sleep."

Take had poked his head out by now, but Qamar ignored him. "And that particular skill would actually be nice to have explained to somebody before you go in there and f*** up Aria somehow. Thallasa won't know, I'm not a damn whistle blower." she muttered to him, trying not to let that part be overheard. "And I"m serious. Qamar looked at Torrin when he came in and she sighed. "And yet you've done nothing to even help her a little. Except maybe being there after the fact, at least we'd help her just a little bit. But whatever, you're the master, you obviously know more, dont' you?" she snarked, turning her head and walking towards the broken window. Edna had told them there were plenty of rooms, but Qamar wasn't tired. She was fine as far as she knew, so staying up all night wouldn't be too bad for her. Besides, she had a few tricks to keep herself awake longer so long as she didn't overexert herself the next day. If she got too tired, she'd sleep tomorrow, but tonight she decided to keep watch and hopefully let Torrin sleep.

Once everyone walked off to their rooms, Qamar turned and headed down the hall. She happened to see Torrin standing in front of a door after passing a note underneath. She raised an eyebrow and leaned against the nearby wall. "Just so you know, I can stay up tonight and keep an eye on her. You're better off sleeping after the day you've had." she suggested. "If anything happens, I'll wake you up, Master." she said, her arms crossed.

Qamar wiped at her eyes once Aria talked and she smiled. She teared up a little bit due to not being pushed away for once. After Aria left, Tinarah had managed to accept her apology and explain why she was acting the way she was. Qamar understood and nodded with Tinarah. "I won't ever understand the pain you went through, but I do want to at least help you cope. I've had to learn my own ways of coping after what happened to me...." she said this and felt a twinge of pain in her head. She held her head and shook it.

"A...Anyway, I think it'd help if you just sort of, didn't worry about trying to be super friendly right now. Open yourself up to the ones you care about and you'll get better." Qamar said. "It's...certainly helped me a little, at least."

Her eyes wandered over to the kitten and the violin. When Tinarah asked if she wanted to hear it later, Qamar nodded. "Actually, we could combine our techniques? I can assist her in meditating and you can play a soothing melody that would help her clear her mind and lull her to sleep. What do you say? I mean, I love your playing, so I totally wouldn't mind it myself." Qamar smiled, adjusting her clothes idly as she looked to see if there was any indication they'd be going to bed soon. "You know, I think we should help clean up those mugs. After another cup of hot chocolate, for me at least." she smiled and put a hand on Tinarah's shoulder.

Take explained the stone and Qamar nodded her head. "I wish I could say I had a momento of my mother, but...honestly, I don't? Other than an old photo, I have nothing to help with my childhood. I don't even remember it..." she mumbled the last part as Take ended up wandering off.

Qamar shrugged and scratched her arm as her eyes scanned the room. "Aria. I know I'm annoying and pushing myself into ya'lls group, but I really do want to help. I don't have any friends and I just want to call you guys people I can count on even just a little. I know I can't say we're friends yet, but...." she shrugged. "I just hope I didn't start things off badly with everyone. I mean, heck, look at poor Tinarah...I scared her half to death. Because of that, I am truly and deeply sorry." she said and bowed to Tinarah. She stood up and looked at Aria a moment before turning her face away. "I don't know why I'm pouring all this out, you just seem like a nice person who just wants to help people...."
