    Oh Sh-

They posted a tornado warning for my area.

I live in Massachusetts. In the hills.

We're not supposed to get tornadoes.

Anybody here in Kansas? My house might fall on yours soon.

    I'm Bored

So let's play a game to make me un-bored.

Game is simple: Someone posts a song title and the artist that wrote the song. The next person needs to post a song title with a word in common with the first title. Bold that part of the title. So we have something like this:

P1: Stone Dead Crazy - Queen
    P2: Dead Gardens - Nightwish

    Simple enough? Let's begin.

I'm gonna be biased and say Celtics because they're practically in my backyard. Their first game wasn't so good, but like I told my brother, it's still just the first game.

    Dances

Gah, that's the name. Thanks Flamedancer.

Why is that the only one allowed at school? Is it because it's "less dirty"?

This is another one that shows up a lot at the dances/parties I go to. It's Called "Mony Mony" by Billy Idol. There really aren't any steps to it, but it was still fun to dance to. But it sure feels like it just drags on.

    Dances

This one I had never heard of before until I went on a senior dinner cruise a month ago. I also had a few too many, as did everyone else on the boat. It was fun.

There's another one that I can't name, but it goes "To the left...take it back now y'all...hop forward three times..hope forward three....criss cross!..criss cross!"

Maybe someone knows what I'm talking about. I'm old, I doubt they play this one as much as they used to.

Are there any clubs at your school that might interest you? That would be worth a look around for, and who knows: if you get involved with that club or group you might just make some awesome friends.

What you're going through, believe it or not, is very normal. Everyone goes through a period where they just don't feel like they belong in a particular niche. It's just a matter of experimenting with things that may interest you.

    Help Meh

I'm putting this in the Spam Zone because that's what it'll ultimately be, spam.

I need to found a business for my Business Spanish course, and have decided I'm opening a winery in Chile. I want to come up with a good name for it that will translate into Spanish fairly easily (after all, it is a Spanish course).

So far I've got Grapes of Wrath and Vino Divino. Both of those names...suck, to be frank.

If it helps, the business will specialize in Sauvignon Blanc.

First James Dio...then Paul Grey...now this...and Dennis Hopper passed away this weekend too...it's a repeat of last summer already.

R.I.P to all of them, they will all be sorely missed.

Naruto's my top annoyance. If you're a ninja dressed in orange, that kinda defeats the purpose of being a ninja, doesn't it? It's one of the top costumes I see every year at the con (second behind Bleach, and this year's top pick of APH.)

Second would be Fighting Foodons (sp?) I mean, WHAT WAS THAT?

To be honest, I'm not sure how testosterone levels could be lowered. I'm sure there's some type of treatment for it, but don't quote me on that. Perhaps being somewhat more active might help you if that's really the case, just some way to help burn off those levels.

Since you keep mentioning the random and uncontrollable crying, I'm going to lean heavily on my theory of bipolar depression. I don't think testosterone would make you cry randomly (it might, though), and that seems to be the central idea here.

Have you mentioned any of this to your parents/guardians, to see if they can help you get the help you need? I still think you should see a doctor and see what they say about your symptoms, but maybe someone at home can help you at the same time.

Here's an interesting one I just thought of while talking to my friend.

We both think that there really is no such thing as the present. The way we see it, to truly be "in the moment" would have to be that exact second in time, but it's already passed us by, and thus is now a part of the past. In that sense, we can never really be in the present because time passes by us so quickly, that maybe there's really only two periods of time: past and future.

I thought this was kind of hokey at first but now that I've given it some serious thought, maybe it does make some sense after all.

    Thoughts?

No problem hon. Done the same thing here once or twice myself.

Now I can definitely answer the bipolar question, because I was once tested for that before they discovered the PMDD (which we now know is not an option for you). This is all courtesy of this page http://www.webmd.com/bipolar-disorder/guide/default.htm

Bipolar disorder is characterized by mood swings, much like the ones you mentioned in your first post. There are actually several types of bipolar disorder; yours sounds like what's called bipolar depression. basically what is happening to you is your brain isn't keeping serotonin -the chemical that your brain creates to "feel good"-balanced. Too much and your mood swings one way; excitable, maybe quick to anger, edgy. Not enough and you just feel miserable.

I still say see a doctor -even though what I said above is exactly what they will say, maybe a little more detailed. Mostly because I pulled my info from WebMD (not a real doctor, though my mom the RN had some help with it too), but also because they will be able to help you decide on some type of treatment, especially if you say this is beginning to get a little out of control or you feel you might not be able to control it. Typically the doc will put you on a med like Zoloft and suggest counseling to help talk out about your feeling and how to help you keep those outbursts under control some. I was actually placed on Xanax at first, told to pop it when I felt an outburst coming on and it actually put me to sleep. Glad I never drove then.

Another option, as silly as it sounds, is maybe your testosterone levels are off the charts. Mom the RN thinks because you're a guy and because of your age, those moods swings are results of high levels of testosterone and no real way to blow off that steam. My brother (now 17) seconds this idea (because he's actually still kind of going through it himself, and they think he has ADHD).

Alright, that's enough, before this turns into a Repliku length post. XD

Cool. Let me know how if that works; it's one of my favorite things to do if I feel like I can't get to sleep (because I can't do the warm milk thing; yay allergies!). Otherwise I think I might have another idea.

Do you eat anything before going to bed? Sometimes you can have bizarre nightmares in your sleep based on what your body's digesting.

Also try light calisthenics before bed. If you are physically wiped out, you'll not only fall asleep faster, but you'll go into a deeper sleep that usually doesn't have dreams. Things like stretching, jumping jacks, maybe some yoga positions. Or, like Fearless said, try to be more active during the day so that by the time you are ready to hit the hay, you're zonked.

Shoot. Sorry man...I actually never look at people's profile pages as much as I used to, and half the time those don't say a person's gender...forgive me. :( -feels like a grade F jerkface now-

Let me think...what you usually do to unwind after a stressful day? Try listening to music or maybe getting some exercise like a jog. That usually helps my brother when he gets stressed out because of schoolwork. He also plays his guitar or drums, but I don't know if that is an option for you. Something about beating the hell out of those skins helps him chill sometimes.
