First game was trash, second game was considerably better (but still trash) and I'm playing through the third one currently. S'awright. Iris Heart makes it...tho apparently Japan hates her!? Haven't seen the anime yet but plan to at some point.
I mean like giving it a complete revamp. A new game with PS4/Xbone graphics. I think it would be pretty sweet.

Used to love this as a kid. I actually preferred Pandemonium 2. The whole "password to continue" thing was bull tho. I don't think it was like that in the second game. They should definitely bring the series back on current gen consoles.

I need to drag this back up. Spoilers just in case (Soul Eater spoiler tho) Spoiler I actually enjoyed Soul Eater. It had likeable characters, great fight scenes, etc. But the ending pissed me off. The same goes for Claymore. Both felt rushed and diverged greatly from the manga. I know this happens with most anime, and they could be left open for continuation, and in most cases they do with more seasons being released, but with these two it doesn't. The endings are absolute with the main villain being dealt with in some inane manner (the main characters aren't strong enough then suddenly OP OUT OF NOWHERE [Maka defeating Asura with a punch to the face AGHHH]). Spoiler There's so much more main events that have been missed and I feel they were both wrapped up too soon. Still, watch for half decent plot then ridiculous filler endings

I can sympathise. New fans will feel pretty alienated going into KHIII, and it'd suck having to trawl through the past history or watch cutscenes on YouTube. It may or may not help, but I'll sign it for ya. :3

So like, after Brotherhood I should watch the 03 version for a better backstory of the Homunculi and the two brothers or whatever? Is that the only differences besides filler?
