ive been ignoring the kh section since i returned since i havent played any of the handheld games except bbs and com, but having posted in the section once it really sparked my interest to play the games again, and i would love to play the first one. if only school wasnt about to start and i wasnt being bogged down with college **** :(
because i always have headaches. i keep telling him its because i havent gotten much sleep lately, but he still insists. freakiin me out a little bit.

im expecting this to be deleted immediately. i had an idea for a story. its not very solid, but ive been working with it in my head a little the past few days and i think if it would be able to flesh out it could be good. its about a kid/teen (middle school age), for a reason i havent come up with yet, decides to become something similar to a super hero. He takes himself far too seriously, while others write what he does off as a joke, and becomes the topic of many jokes around the downtown area of the mid-sized city he lives in. He would be absolutely no help in any serious situation, and he knows this, but because he takes himself too seriously, he tends to fantasize about what he would do in a serious situation, in an after-the-fact sort of manner. However through his childish antics that look to others as pleas for attention, he manages to set an example for the younger kids of this city, teaching them courage and whatnot, though this is not his intention. In what would be the climax of the story, the adults of the city learn that he is not seeking attention, though people continue to not take him seriously, though he does become respected for his attempts to help people in need. Unlike many heroes he comes from a loving, fully functional home. He goes to a private school, though he does not fit in well. This is not because he is a social outcast, if he wanted he could have many friends, however he is dissatisfied with the current mindset of the youth of his city, this being the root of why he takes himself seriously. He has a mindset that would be more appropriate for an adult. That said he does not act like an adult, he just has a heightened sense of responsibility, justice, and honor. His dissatisfaction with the people his age motivate him to go to great lengths to prove to others, and himself, that he is, in essence, better than them. Though i haven't thought about it much (at this point im writing down whatever comes to mind) this could be the reason he decides to become a hero. He gains fame for his assistance with the police on lower-level crimes, and they have agreed to leave him be so long as he does not interfere with their work. I haven't thought out much what he does, as im trying to come up with a logical reason to get this character into a situation where he would be able to almost fight crime, despite not being any help in anything major. I dont want to reduce the character to chasing down thieves, but i also dont want to elevate him to super-hero level either. As i said earlier the climax would be where he proves he can be taken seriously, and this would obviously be the most serious crime of the story, but this also goes back to not being able to decide what i could realistically have this middle-school age non-super hero do, in an anything but realistic story. also, the reason he is called the aviator is because he wears an aviator hat, goggles, scarf , and gloves, his "costume" if you must. please realize this was just a daydream that i liked and would like to see what i could do with it.

My friend showed me The Grudge years ago and I'm still not over it, so I'm torn between going downstairs to turn the lights off, or not.
I found out today the school I went through kindergarten to 8th closed today. I really don't know how to take this, the school had become very corrupt and was sure to close, but I never really thought it would. All of my life-long friends come from this school and all of my most precious memories either take place at the school or involve people related to the school. My mother also worked there for 18 years and I was in her class twice, fortunately she quit before it closed, but now that it's closed I feel like a major part of my life has died, and I don't know how to handle it. I've been going to a new school for a while now, but still..

I'm sure I'm not the only one that has fond memories of Kingdom Hearts II, such as rushing out to get the game, playing it non-stop when I got it etc. So, this is the thread to share those memories.
