    Music

I think, without music, our world, and our lives would be completely different. Music/artists/bands shape some people into the person they are. I've been thinking alot today about how different I would be if not for the music I listen to. I wouldn't have my sense of humor, my sense of style, or my ideals about people, and I probably would have killed myself if not for a couple of bands that really made me fight through my sadness. I know I can't be only one who feels this attached to music either. Does music impact any of you guys in big ways?

    fun.

fun. is an indie pop band that recently got popular. I've liked them for a couple years now, and am so happy that they're getting recognition, because they're brilliant. Has anyone heard of them? Here's a couple of my favorite songs by them. I've been listening to them alot more lately because I had forgotten them until their sudden burst of radio popularity.

He knows I "kind of like him", but that's about it. Other than that, no. And he doesn't exactly care about my feelings, he never has. He's kind of a jerk(my dad). I've tried to talk to him, but he blew it off as nothing. I can't tell him all the things Chris and I have done, he would probably run him over with his motorcycle, and I can't tell him about what Chris means to me, because he'd laugh at me. Now I'm going to have to spend the night at his mom's house, because my dad is moving in there, and man, Chris and I are talking, but whenever we're together/alone in the same room, **** goes down, and then my feelings come into play and it's just awful. This whole situation is terrible, and if he's going to end up being my stepbrother... Well **** me.

Well now I have a worse problem.

His mom and my dad started dating. Now, not only is there the awkward and painful, heartbreaking, stressful **** that was happening from my first thread, now our parents are dating. And what's worse, my dad marries almost every woman he dates(been married 5 times now), and so now Chris is probably going to end up my stepbrother. So even IF things were to be fixed between us, it would be even more awkward, because now he'd be my brother. Fml

I hate FOB's lyrics, Pete Wentz thinks he's the **** when clearly he's not, but I think Patrick is an amazing vocalist. The only reason FOB is any good is because of Patrick, but I like their music, it's fun to sing, and Patrick Stump does an amazing job with their songs. He's even doing well on his own, and can actually play instruments well on his own as well. I saw them live, loved them, and well, they're funny. I think they're great, despite their many faults, and the fanbase doesn't actually bother me that much since they're too busy harassing the band members to harass other people about not listing to FOB.

    Fall Out Boy

So I know they've been on hiatus since '09, but I love them. I love every album they've done, including Folie a Deux. I don't know why so many people hate that one, but I love how much they change between every album, it really shows that they expand as musicians.

However, I'm not a Pete Wentz fan. His lyrics are mediocre at best, give or take a few songs. I do think Infinity on High was written well, but From Under the Cork Tree? Folie a Deux? Not so much. Patrick is the reason I love FOB so much. He could sing the ingredients on the back of a Cheez-It box and I would still listen. I think his voice is amazing.

Don't think I'm not giving credit to Andy and Joe, I just don't really know much about them, oops.

    Best:
Horrible Bosses- One of the funniest movies I've seen since The Hangover
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2- Do I even need to say anything here?
Tekken- Just because I love the game
No Strings Attached- I thought this film was adorable, and I like Natalie Portman, so
Jane Eyre- Wasn't as good as the book(of course), but I liked it
Sherlock Holmes: A Gay of Shadows- gaygaygaygaygaygaygaygyagyggyagayyagay

    Worst
The Change-Up- Thought it would be funnier, Ryan Reynolds just doesn't do it for me
    Footloose- Just... Duh
    Happy Feet Two
    Bonnie and Clyde vs Dracula
Human Centipede 2- I DIDN'T EVEN WATCH THIS. YOU'D THINK THEY'D LEARNED ENOUGH ABOUT ASS-EATING FROM THE FIRST ONE

I know I'm a girl, but I'm a lesbian, so I ask girls out alot, and well, I don't think every girl I fall for is the most attractive person, hell, I'm not either, but I like them for their faults. It's what their interests are that make me like them and want to ask them out. Looks don't matter much to me, well, they do kind of, but only because I will like something about how they look as well as their personality. Alot of times I like someone if they can put up with being around me for more than a few weeks, because alot of people that I live around can't stand me.

Though that doesn't stop me from wishing I could have a girl that looks like Katy Perry, unf.

    I collect cereal box trinkets
I scout out any cereal boxes with mail-in proofs of purchases or prizes in the box and get them. I have hundreds of little pokemon, star wars stuff, Captain Crunch tee, etc.

I also collect band merch. I have tons of blink-182 merch, dating all the way back to 1996. I have pre-hiatus Fall Out Boy merch, Our lady Peace Merch, Barenaked Ladies, and all that jazz.

I collect Kerrang! magazines as well. The things they manage to put in interviews, well, let's just say that they always get the dirt on musicians.

I'm thinking the woman could be Eragon and Murtagh's exiled mother and possibly other children of hers X:

I honestly wished he wouldn't have paired Eragon and Arya, I was really hoping for someone new to show up for Eragon to fall in love with.

Off by two, and it could cause problems because I'm about to be 18 and he just turned 16, I could get in trouble, and I've already gotten into alot of trouble with him. Two years is alot, to me that doesn't matter, but state law would call it rape if I did anything more than hold hands with him until he's 17 where I'm from. There are alot of other problems according to age.

And I've been talking to him, just trying to have a clean slate and have normal conversations, and it's been going okay. It's just that in the past he's done things to purposefully hurt me, and he's never done it to me again, but it hurt, but hopefully things can come out better this time.

Believe me, age doesn't matter to me in terms of what he looks like, or how I feel it would reflect off of me, I just have gotten in trouble so many times with my parents for things of that sort that I'm really cautious now.

I know, this has been going on for over a year now, and every time I talk to him again, I just fall for him all over. It sucks that he's the only guy that's ever been perfect, I really can't help my feelings.

    I would suggest:

    1) The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams- amazing, scifi classics, Douglas Adams is pure genius, and his satiric way of writing is brilliant, I could read his books all day.

    2) Pride and Prejudice and Zombies by Jane Austen and Seth Grahame-Smith- I read this thinking it would be odd to read, but it was awesome, it's literally Pride and Prejudice, but Seth Grahame-Smith rewrote it with a butt-kicking zombie action storyline. Needless to say, I found it hilarious.

    3) The Zombie Survival Guide by Max Brooks- Absolutely perfect, great advice to anyone who wants to protect themselves from the impending threat.

    4) Haunted by Chuck Palahniuk. This is a collection of short stories that he wrote, some are funny, some are downright terrifying. I recommend this to anyone that loves well-written shorts.

I just watched the first episode of this last night, and I must say, I love the way they portray Sherlock. it's different than usual, they almost show him as sinister. And I love John, he's just a wonderful character, the actor is amazing, as is Benedict Cumberbatch.

The episodes are long, so I haven't yet found the time to watch another, but you bet I will.
