i was the one who ported that code. i believe European Codejunkies was the original hacker of the code, but anyways, i did make an attempt at fixing it. however, it ended up being unsuccessful because i guess i didn't understand the code well enough to get it fixed. but yea, it still has those bad side effects.
people can be so stupid sometimes. i thought i read some stupid things before but this is now is the stupidest thing i have ever read. i bet those people weren't even alive when Pearl Harbor happened, why the hell do they even care? sure, i think it's a horrible event, but i honestly can't say i cared or was affected at all by it because i didn't even exist back then. bunch of ignorant people. i suppose the best thing about being ignorant is not knowing you are.
the codes that are 8 digits long are codebreaker, for example (making up numbers here) 00000000 00000000 digits are supplied with those codes. what you do is replace the ? marks with the supplied digits. you choose the digit to have the effect you want.
earlier today i got a Database Error, which is pretty nostalgic, it made me giggle a little, than i got really annoyed
i enjoyed looking through this as well. now i know who has done me an injustice...... also i'm glad i stopped spelling the word "what" as "wat". i personally find that annoying now.
merge it with what? i don't really see anything worth merging....
i can reassign it perfectly fine. however, it does not flash when not connected to the PS3. so i guess it is the battery issue. before i get a replacement, i will call Sony and see if they maybe have some sort of repair service. they do for systems, and even if it were out of warranty it was cheaper than buying a new one. i'm hoping it's the same case for controllers. though i have to wait til monday as they aren't open on weekends.
i was hoping it wouldn't come to that because those controllers are so expensive. thanks though.
i don't really know why either but you DO need it. you just do.
i'm having quite a lot of trouble with one of my PS3 controllers. the PS3 controller won't turn on UNLESS it's plugged in through USB. if it's plugged in, it will work seamlessly. however! the second you disconnect it, it shuts off and becomes unusable until it's plugged back in. i have scoured Google but haven't found any solutions that work. so any help please? and before anyone says this: YES IT IS FULLY CHARGED
that one will take a while to finish, but if you keep at it you should still be able to get this one even if you're not that good at the game. anyways, with online matches, at the risk of sounding conceited, i'm actually pretty good at this game. some tips: 1. as much as i hate people who do this, you can use a turbo controller to use substitution jutsu easily. however, this can backfire if you're not smart about it. (wasting all your chakra subsituting attacks that aren't even worth wasting it on) 2. give your assist choices and types some thought. here's information that isn't readily obvious from playing the game: Assist Types (effects will happen once team gauge goes up one): Attack- Ally will join in combos making harder to substitute. Also, the dreaded knockback hit if you send the enemy flying in midair. Balance- Ally will throw chakra shuriken if you do. You should test out several characters' chakra shuriken to see what works best with your main. Ally will give up their life to block an ultimate jutsu for you (they will be unusable for 60 seconds after this has happened). Guard- Ally will stand in a guard stance in front of you while you charge your chakra. Safe way to charge and don't have to worry about projectiles. Ally will stop dashing enemies. I do recommend always having an attack assist just for the knockback hit because one of those could prove fatal to enemies and if not, you at least have time to charge chakra without having to worry about attacks. To Beat Rasengan Spammers: these people have a tendency to waste all their chakra trying to kill you with rasengan. just make sure not to get hit. you can do this easily by luring them into using rasengan. what you do is jump and block. not a double jump, don't do anything else but block while the jump is happening. Rasengan spammers wait for people to jump because that's when they're wide open, but they can't tell if you're blocking in midair. so they'll try it but will fail at which point you punish them with a jutsu or a combo. this method works well for the most part but if you end up getting hit by one or getting thrown they'll most likely recharge all their chakra before you get a chance to hit them, so do be careful. To Beat Long Range Fighters: make proper use of chakra dash. and not a lot of people seem to know this for some reason but pressing X X (not sure what the button is on Xbox but its' X twice on PS3) will dash through all their projectiles. just be smart, time your dashes correctly and they shouldn't be too difficult to beat. this will take some practice though. Turbo Controllers: i'm still trying to figure this one out. they're not impossible to beat as i've done it before but damn near close to be. you're gonna have to find some way of wasting their chakra so that it won't matter whether they have substitution on turbo or not. as soon as you see their person rapidly blocking, don't use combos. instead shoot projectiles at them until they run out of chakra. however, this tactic won't work on someone who has half a brain and figures out what you're up to. you're gonna have to attack through their attacks, know what attacks beat which and counter their attacks with other attacks. do not attempt to throw them unless you see that they've run out of chakra, you will be the one who ends up being thrown. and if none of these work, don't be too hard on yourself, it wasn't your fault your opponent was using a gay turbo controller. beating puppet users stay near the puppet master. don't give them a chance to put distance between you and the master. stay close and in their face. most people who use puppet masters are turtlers, watch out for throw spamming. beating turtlers turlers are people who damage you once..... and run away for the rest of the match hoping to win through time. don't let it piss you off. just keep a cool mind and use throws often because turtlers block ALOT. however, if said turtler is using a turbo controller as well......you're most likely screwed. some general tips: don't side step too often, you'll get hit by dash type jutsus use awakening to beat ultimate jutsu and throw spammers. awakening deals with the issue elegantly. if you see that your opponent can use their team ultimate jutsu, stop fighting. unless their chakra is severly low, stay far way from them and just keep jump blocking. one final tip: if you're having trouble against a particular character. try playing as that character just to know understand their capabilities and quirks better. i found doing this reveals ALOT of weaknesses i wouldn't have noticed. hope those tips help!
my opinion on this: i actually think that the homebrew stuff is kinda cool and nice to play around with. as for the cheats thing, i like cheats (i did used to hack some after all!) because i see them as game enhancers, but using cheats online.....no, just no. it's really annoying playing against hackers in ANY online game. but i can also see why Sony is upset. i do like all the cool stuff that's possible with the homebrew, but i'm sure that there are bad uses for the homebrew as well like piracy and online hacking. also, something that really confuses me. i saw a lot of people defending the homebrew and custom firmware saying they want the right to run their own code. i think that's cool to be able to use homebrew, but why do these people feel entitled to being able to do that?
i completely agree. i like zelda, but it is rehashed too many times. though, i actually think Pokemon has been rehashed more times, if you think about it, it's like playing the same game again and again (but you need 2 versions to get them all too!).
most overrated game: i think Metal Gear Solid 4 takes that. it was a good game but i don't get why so many people worship it. most underrated game: that's a tough one. i'm not sure.
i remember that. i get the feeling Land of Departure wasn't added until much later in development.
never actually cried but the 2 games that came close to making it happen were: Persona 4 - unfortunately I got the bad ending (and didn't know there was a good one until weeks later!!!!) Heavy Rain - also got a bad ending first time around despite resetting everytime something unfavorable happened, lol (involves main character offing himself)
yes there is, it's 0002.
this code gives it, though it will give you 98 of all items as well All Bottle Items (98) HN1M-Q45Z-G1BG9 NDNE-X0AZ-UE1YC XNPW-UWJP-VFJBB AJK1-12MN-94HZG 934U-U8Q8-R8ZKR PVQH-4D7V-3XBVB TWMX-JG5P-WMX23 20340CE8 62626262 10340CEC 00006262 00340CEE 00000062 00340D49 00000062 20340DCC 62626262 10340DD0 00006262
yes, i mean the dash. Hinata isn't that great as a support because her jutsu is just too small but it has a much quicker startup time than Neji's. by the way, did you know that Amaterasu can be jumped over? it's not that effective because of this. my bro figured that out when I was Amaterasu spamming against him XD
for Deidara, i find that it kinda depends on which character I'm playing as. i can't really beat it when I'm playing as Sakura or Neji. but when playing as Temari or Sasuke, i can beat it no problem. i just keep using my jutsus and supports relentlessly (and without regard to chakra) until Deidara dies. which character do you usually play as? i agree with the boss fights thing. i actually wish the Naruto vs Sasuke fight in Storm 2 was how it should have been in the anime. the video game adaptation GREATLY surpassed the source material on that one. not all hope is lost for Lee. use his awakening for the teleportation ability. i find it's really hard to overcome the teleportation ability unless i'm playing as a character with a defensive jutsu. i've seen quite a few youtube videos of Sage Naruto getting put in his place by awakened Guy and Lee. so you'll probably get owned in the part of the fight before you can awaken but might be able to beat him once you can. also, have Tenten and Neji as supports (who have good stats with Lee), really helps against Rasengan spammers :)
