i finally had time to see this movie and i was pretty disappointed. putting the whole "race bending" thing aside, the movie itself wasn't great. if anything, it felt like one of those youtube parodies are a fan made movie. also, the whole movie felt like watching a trailer because none of the characters had enough lines to really make much of a coherent story.
i personally think the world WOULD be a better place if people cared more. however, i don't think it's actually plausible for that to happen, even though i wish it were. i'm guilty of not caring what doesn't affect me as well. for example: the wars in Afganistan and Iraq, and that Oil Spill. i think those are all horrible events, but to be honest, i don't care that much and really don't have much emotional investment in those things. and i probably wouldn't start caring unless bombs were going off in the US (but still probably wouldn't care unless it happened close to where i live). but i still think that the world as it is now can be fixed if the people who ARE affected by whatever event could step up and take action. i do think that some of the problems that people have are there because they don't take enough action. of course i'm sure there are a lot of examples where that isn't true. while i think that the world would be better if we cared about things that didn't affect us, i really don't think we are obliged to care. because everyone has their own problems and if people took more action in resolving their own problems, i don't think outside interference from others would be necessary and again, i'm sure there are cases where this isn't true and outside interference IS needed (like the tsunami in Asia and the earthquake in Haiti), but i think what i said applies to most regular people. hope that makes sense.
i hate spoilers. they really kill the experience of new movies, and especially games for me if i know exactly what's going to happen. especially when you notice the setup for a plot twist and then be like "oh, but that's not right, this happens later". it really kills it for games that depend on the story like Heavy Rain for example: if i had known who the Origami Killer was beforehand, the ENTIRE game would be ruined.
no, i don't think so as long as it's just your signature
if it's another site it's fine as long as you credit the original source. if it's a new thread here, as long as it isn't a repeat thread.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet that's everything. but still, why ask these dumb questions, i believe a lot of them are very obvious to begin with.
i'm excited about it as well.i hope they fixed the issues that stopped the previous one from being epic, like not having enough cutscenes. but the fighting was very good in the previous version, wonder what tweaks they have this time around. i like the fact that you can also play online as well. i like the box art for the game too though i believe that one is only tentative. comes out September this year :) EDIT: here is the boxart
not really, i only really listen to music when i'm driving the car somewhere. but from what people in real life told me and looking at some of the posts here, i am somewhat intrigued on how music affects people.
this game, i don't know what to think of it yet. i liked Sora and Riku's fighting styles better when they were younger, and it would be cool playing as Riku without the card system (which isn't that bad by the way). but i hope they get Sora's young voice back, it suits the younger Sora much better. i remember reading somewhere else that there are new worlds in this game, so i suppose that could mean it is indeed important to the story? but i wonder why Sora and Riku are in their original ages.
please DO keep the discussion code-related ONLY. that's what the thread is for, it's not for modding the game's files or anything else.
well, i really don't think the recession isn't really as bad as the news makes it out to be, but i'm just using my own experience to say this so i could be dead wrong. as for President Obama, i really have no opinion on him. to be honest, i forget he's president half the time, whenever he's on TV i'm like "why is he still on TV? ohhhh right.......he's president." i don't know if he's doing well or not, and to be honest i don't care that much. but anyways, even if the years of the US being the best are over it's still not too bad a place to live (except for the high crime rate). i believe that the law was that the government can't force you to buy anything. they get around this with car insurance because you don't HAVE to own a care, but they are forcing people to buy health insurance (i think, i really am not too sure on the specifics of that).
just a note that you should probably have that code jokered too, i found it crashed on me whenever it wasn't jokered.
thanks a lot for that :)
i do that too, i believe it's done to show people that i'm not just some offended idiot and that i want to discuss things intelligently. though that can be done without mentioning sexuality, but i think if you're straight it just establishes that point more quickly. that's just what i think though, i could be wrong so correct me if i am.
i tried to get the command menu mod but i couldn't hack that one, it's too bad because i think that's how we can have Mickey use Pearl :( i tried hacking the summon ones as well but no luck
i guess as long as the post is relevant.
look, i believe in evolution too. but come on, if you're so sure that it's so correct then what was the point of this debate? debating is made to figure out which answer is correct so i don't see a point in debating if neither side is willing to move. if you're trying to get people to change their mind, insulting them is only going to make them defensive and unwilling to change their opinions (not to mention making yourself look bad). also, looking at the first post, it makes the point of this "debate" come off as just an excuse to insult religion (which i'm not going to say it is because i can't say for sure). anyways, the point of this post is, while you are free to say whatever, you're going to have to use more tact if you actually want people to change their minds, otherwise it's not going to work.
ok Aqua's voice isn't bad for battling. in the Japanese version, her battle cries actually got pretty annoying after a while but i don't think that would be an issue in the US version.
i hope they stop with these side stories. it's just that when KH3 comes out, i think we're gonna end up with quite a few clueless fans because i don't think they should have to buy so many systems to play like 5 side stories to know what the hell is going on. i mean there were quite a few people who played KH1 but missed out on Chain of Memories and was clueless as to why Sora was sleeping and as to why Organization XIII was called Organization XIII since there were only about 7 members of the Organization. i mean COM isn't bad, even though it was a rehash, it was fine because it was only once that they did this and this game DID add a lot to the story. i like this series but i hate when they re-use previous games for half-baked side story games like in 358/2 Days (which has it's moments but wasn't that great). at least with Birth by Sleep a lot of the content is brand new and hasn't been seen in previous KH games. i could be wrong about Re:Coded since i haven't played it but it looks just like KH1 and COM. i hope that the next unannounced title isn't just a rehash of old games.
huh, looks like a remake of KH1. which isn't a horrible idea but i wish it were on a console system. EDIT: wait, it can't be a remake, there's a Nobody in Traverse Town.
