I think I have too much stuff, Manga, DVDS, action figures, you name it. Most of it comes from the cons I make yearly pilgrimages to and the deals found there. I have this mountain of plushies on what I think is my bed. Trouble is there's so many of them I'm not sure exactly what is it Mount Plushmore is on top of.
I use a combo of stuff. Chrome I use for things like DA, here, Youtube, and that stuff. Firefox has been souped up so it's secure (well, as secure as I can make it), and that is where I do all my banking and eBaying.
I want that horned wolf Digimon. I've always been a fan of the lupine/canine/vulpine Digis (Garurumon anyone?). Nice that they're trying to revive the series. I feel Data Squad was a bit of a flop.
Well, it shut down within 20 seconds last night, and went to sleep successfully this afternoon while I was working, so I still don't know what first caused the hangups.
-raises hand- I used to watch it all the time when SciFi used to show it. Thought it was brilliant.
Well, this is what I've managed to trim it down to: either my antivirus programs aren't ending upon shutdown, thus causing the hang, or my dwindling disk space is really the culprit. I just did a disk cleanup and managed to gain back almost 5 GB of space I didn't have before, so we'll see what happens.
These two problems started yesterday, and I feel somehow the two are related. Last night I tried to shut down the computer, and after the window that says "Please wait while Windows shuts down" disappears, the blue background behind it was still there and my mouse still worked for almost five minutes, like something was hanging. Usually it's only 20 seconds after the window disappears that the computer shuts down. Last night I had to manually shut it down by holding the power button. Then today, usually I can close my laptop lid and it will go right into sleep mode without trouble. It didn't do that today at all, and I didn't notice it until I had picked it up again to use it, and a window was there along with my background. The window said "Please standby". None of my keystrokes were detected (I tried Esc then Ctrl Alt Del, nothing worked). I was forced again to use the power button to shut it off, then waited five minutes to reboot. I'm feeling that some process is causing it to hang so that it doesn't shut down or sleep properly, but I can't imagine what. I've already run a couple of virus scans to see what else could be the problem and nothing's turned up. I'm using a Dell Latitude D620 with Windows XP Pro and SP3. Thanks in advance for any help.
I was just thinking that. I can't remember the last time I saw Repliku. I'd have to go with either Wolfie or you, Mike. Maybe Misty too.
To the OP: This is going to sound funny to you but if you are using headphones, is the jack plugged in all the way? Sometimes I'd get a buzzing sound and realize the jack's not all the way in. Actually, my suggestion sounds pretty bogus now. I second Stardust and say check to see if you can update your drivers. Maybe even upgrade Media Player unless it's the most recent version.
You too? I could have attached a sail to the roof of my car and landsailed home today, with the wind gusts we had.
That's what I was thinking. I was also thinking of those old flag signals they often used, and many of those were different colors too. One of my good friends is color blind, but it doesn't bother him too much. We used to tease him while table-top gaming to pass something of X color and we'd get what was X color to him, but was really Y color.
Okay...laugh all you want, but this name came from a Yu-Gi-Oh fanfic I had written when I was 14...Nashida was the Yami spirit for a character I had written for the fanfic. The name just stuck years later. It's actually a misspelling of the name Nishida, something I found on the bottom of a Pokemon card around the time I started writing the fanfic. It was an artist name: Atsuko Nishida. And fun fact: Nashida actually means "student" in Arabic. Funny, considering I never thought this was a real name.
How does the saying go? Two's company? Three's a crowd? Four on the sidewalk's not allowed? I feel as if there were three people together like that, there would be too many issues: feeling like a third wheel for one, and maybe some sharing issues ("You did her last night,it's my turn"). Hard for me to picture something like that, really.
In high school we always joked that our food was "grade D but edible" and bad enough even the Army wouldn't eat it even if they were stationed in the middle of nowhere with nothing else around. How right we were. I too had a school that offered many options at lunch time-main entree, pizza, soup, salad, cheeseburger, or chicken sandwich. I can count on one hand the number of kids that would opt for a salad over, say, beef stroganoff or something. Nice to see something is being done to try and make things healthier, but I'm kind of having a hard time seeing why the military is so concerned other than the fact that the kids are so fat now that they aren't in fit enough shape to enlist.
I used to like the window seat up until that one flight back where we cut the edge of a thunderstorm, so half the plane saw the storm and half the plane saw the sunset. I wasn't on the sunset side of the plane.... I know I definitely hate being in the aisle seats simply because everything and everyone bumps into you. I hate getting jostled by stuff. I just wanna sleep until I land, kthanks.
Once again my poor wallet is being put in jeopardy. Too many things to pick at here.
$123.45. Yup. P.S. D'aww at the little KH Mobile Sora and Kairi hanging off the pig's ear. I found an Axel two weeks ago at an anime con, he's on my DS Lite now.
Maybe you coughed too hard at some point and caused a slight crack in your ribs? Only other thing I'm thinking of is it's a "stitch" in your side, when sometimes the muscles between the ribs tense up and it becomes painful to breathe or move. But I know when I get them, it's a bit further down from the armpit (maybe mid-rib). Any other symptoms you notice, other than the pain? Kind of odd that it goes away when you apply pressure; usually that would make it worse.
Think this counts those sexual abuse videos too? I had to devote some of my time the last couple of days so the guidance counselor could come in and show my fifth grade class a video on sexual harassment. Nice to know potentially I could lose my job for trying to protect kids, seeing as that's now part of my job requirement.
Hmm. Not bad if I do say so myself. What concerns me know is if this will be a 3DS exclusive now, because something tells me this won't translate well to prior DS models.
