I'm too picky a drinker. I don't want to taste the alcohol, unless it's beer and it's actually a good one. My first beer was a Yuengling, and that was almost too much for me.

Umm...cocktails, cocktails...I can't think of any....I've had many frozen drinks in the past, and mixed drinks, and a few alcopops, but that's it. I don't have the money to go out anymore, drinks are too expensive here.

    American Tale: Fievel Goes West

It was girls' night in last night. We typically watch Disney movies, but one of the girls had that, so we watched that instead.

Go see an allergist. I actually have a friend who is allergic to things like pineapple and tomatos, but she can only have tomatoes if they are cooked. Which is why we always found it odd when she'd put ketchup on her salads, because that was the only way she could have tomato. The pineapple she couldn't touch at all.

I don't know if she knows the name of that allergy. I could ask her if she jumps on AIM anytime soon.

What's with all the school related stupidity lately? First the Lego gun, now some doodle? C'mon, it's not like she was scribbling a Death Note on the side of her desk.

I caught one of my fifth grade students doodling on his desk with a highlighter. I kept him in at recess and has him wash the desks with cleaner and paper towels. He learned his lesson. No need to call the po-po for that.

She just called back. Still can't get it out. I told her to trying moving the dairy farm.
She goes "nuuuu its stuck there, it won't move".
    Just do it anyway, Ma.
She tries. It moves. The chicken was somehow under the dairy farm.
"OMG thank you so much how I can I thank you?"
Don't call me about the game again....?
    "Oh...okay! *click*"

    She's scaring me..

Both. If I need a good hot drink that'll wake me up, it's coffee. If I just want to warm up, it's tea.

I couldn't live without my Rooibas Chai or my Hazelnut coffee.

She just called me on her cell all panicky and flustered because - get this - she dropped a chicken in her dairy farm on Farmville and doesn't know how to get it out of there.

Good to know she's got priorities, eh?

This is why I'm not really looking forward to teaching. I don't want to have to deal with this kind of BS if I don't have to.

Besides, I've seen those little Lego guns...they don't even look like the real deal. C'mon. The worst that could happens is someone chokes on the thing, and that's because it's a friggin Lego, not a gun.

I remember that episode, and there's that book called Change of Heart where a death row inmate wants to be hung so he can donate his heart to the dying younger sister of the girl he murdered.

I guess I'm still going back to allowing them to choose if they want to go in the name of science and the greater good. Maybe in a way right now it's no different than asking if you want to be an organ donor...we don't exactly force people to do that.

Good to know I'm not the only one who thought he runs funny. He's not Jogger the Hedgehog...

Also...yeah, Eggman. I don't know of any Sonic fans in my circle who even acknowledge that name.

    Cheating

What Misty said. I've looked up "Lets Play X Game" on Youtube a bazillion times if I get stuck, because to me it's one thing to read it in a strategy guide, but to see someone actually do it helps me in the long run. It's really no different than going out and buying a game's guide (except Youtube is free, while some guides cost $20 and up).

Maybe its because I'm a visual learner. I dunno. I've always found those videos a lot more helpful than text walkthroughs anyway.

Was the first song I ever heard by them, back when I was 13. Still really the only one I know the words to somewhat.

I remember the first time I heard them I thought they were Australian or something...I'm not sure what lead me to believe that...

I'm disappointed in the lack of a "both" option. Sure, I love some of the newer games we have and the newest gen of systems, but I can't be the only one who gets a flicker of nostalgia every now and then, and still gets satisfaction after blowing into an NES cartridge 20 times before it actually works.

They seem to be working fine to me, and I could've sworn somebody said that whole section was fixed after our previous server essentially locked us out.

Which videos do you need? I know I downloaded all of them before the dump, I might be able to find them on my drive and set up a place for you to get them if the links don't work.

I've heard of the band and do have a couple of albums, but to be honest I've only liked a few of their songs, namely "Voodoo" and "Faceless". I should listen to them a little more than I do.

    saving!

It's probably like what that Cloud fella on the lst page said: Gold and Silver had the clock system going, so you had a battery that tracked the passage of time, night and day, and DST as well as saves. Red/Blue/Yellow didn't have any of that, so the battery was just focused on saves.

I like this. It's not exactly forcing them to subject themselves to the testing, and if they were offered some sort of prisoner compensation (such as lenience or a slightly reduced sentence) they might actually do it. But to force the testing on them just because they are on death row? No.

I'm going to keep my views on the death penalty out of this one and just agree with what Crisp said.

That's excatly why they're pushing people to get vaccinated...most of the cases we see on the news about people dying from it had an underlying health condition.

It's been two months since I got swine squirted up my nose, and I'm fine.
