"Then we need to find out who did" huffed Dawn, Lorelei looked around Destiny got to her feet, and walked slowly in her own world to the castle
Dawn clenched her fist "No doubt about it, I'm in on this to"
Destiny remained against the wall Lorelei looked up "Its ok katachi, promises are not always kept, dad promised..me cloud pancakes..."
Lorelei hugged Katachi "Its ok, dont cry" Destiny felt weak, her knees buckled beneath her as she slumped against a wall, tears flooding down her face "I dont know what to do"
"She'll grow to understand what has happened as time passes" sighed Dawn Destiny walked slowly through the kingdom
Destiny smiled and began to walk away "Look after your sisters" Dawn wiped away the tears and hugged Lorelei
Destiny held tightly to her children as she looked into the sky
Destiny held out her arms "It'll be ok come here" Dawn and Lorelei sobbed as she cuddled their mum
Destiny took off and landed at the lake "I have something to tell you three" Dawn lowered her head "Your father left two days ago to check out a report of a village being wiped out with our loyal guards, they returned this morning .....your father had not returned with them, just this...." Destiny held up the dragon pendant " The guards took my to where your father....was believed to have been killed" Destiny tried to keep her composure as she eventually transformed back "I'm sorry, your father is not coming home"
Destiny nealt down, "You three get on my back, we're going to the lake"
Destiny took flight and headed home Dawn looked up "Look its mum" Lorelei looked up as well. Destiny landed with her head down
"and where is mother" asked Dawn, being very grown up for her age, she tried to fight back her tears, clearly understanding what had happened
Destiny landed on the cliff edge and just collapsed, laying up into the sky, her crystal body glistened in the sun the it wasnt reflecting a joyful personality "How....could he" Destiyn slammed her fist "He promised we'd be together forever, now ive lost him...forver." Dawn walked behind her brother.
Destiny hit the cliff side in frustration and confussion "This is pointless...he PROMISED ME...he'd come back" she screamed aloud, as she slowly flew back up from the mist, feeling weak and alone. Dawn bent down to Lorelei "We're going to see the guards why dont you go inside and one of the servants can make you pancakes" "YAY" cheered Lorelei running inside Dawn looked at her brother "Come on .... you can speak to them"
"O great" huffed Dawn Destiny flew further down into the mist, she flew slowly since she could barely see
Destiny stopped in mid-air, it was full of mist around her "I cant see anything, guess I should just keep going down" Dawn looked to the distance "The guards are returning shun"
"No please I'll be ok, return to the kingdom and guard my children" said Destiny as took flight down the cliff Dawn sighed "Im confussed" Lorelei spun in circles "I'm hungry"
Destiny spread her wings "I'm going to search the grounds at the bottom of the cliff, i'll follow his blood trail as much as I can"
"Thankyou, you may return back to the village now, keep it safe, keep my children safe" Destiny walked forward and knelt down, a slow breeze passed as she wept. She transfomed into her final form in a flurry of ice and snow, and prepared to fly down the cliff
"I have no clue" replied Dawn "Thankyou" whispered Destiny as she followed the guards
