Not to nitpick but if I could offer a correction: BlazBlue CS Extend was actually an entirely new version of the game, which included a lot of original content and balance changes that couldn't be bought anywhere else, in addition to DLC characters from the previous version of Continuum Shift. CS itself actually received a handful of (free) changes that may have warranted an entirely new game in another series, eventually leading to the nickname CS2.

As for the actual topic... I really don't care either way, as long as it's reasonably priced. Cosmetics DLC really shouldn't go for more than a dollar imo, and deluxe packages should be worth at most the same as the original game's current value, to account for the fact that you're getting all the extra stuff late. Even then, I tend to spend more than I should on stuff I know I could get in a complete edition later, such as the Disgaea 4 DLC packages. Basically if your sales angle rubs me the wrong way, that's really pushing it, 'cause I'll buy anything if I like it.

/pansexual demiromantic who prefers assertive women and effeminate men

Pff is this supposed to be hard? :L LOL THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID

Real tho, for me romantic attraction mostly beats sexual attraction; the one follows from the other, in most cases. I've even come to fantasize about people I once thought were kind of ew, just because I formed an emotional bond with them. So it's pretty hard to turn me off once you've got me to the point that the genits are out in the open and all that.

Ughhhh. I hate to do this, but I'm gonna have to withdraw. Story's not coming out right, and now my plate has filled with too many obligations to finish it in time. Really sorry Cat. :c

I'm down for villains. Hell, I'll co-host. (If I can do that and also host a different one, since I already have an idea brewing.)

Same here. I feel like anger issues and self-harm are two sides of a coin, one for outward thinkers who are taught (or learn on their own) to make their problems everyone else's problems, and one for those who are pressured never to bother someone else and to deal with their own problems on their own time. I find the best way to deal with being in a poor frame of mind is to shut off my mind; do something that's immersive, repetitive, or contributive to someone, and forget about that person who's upset for a while.

Unless friends and family are responsible for much of the aforementioned stress. Or just can't do much to help. Whether they're hardly around, don't take the problem seriously, or just can't relate, it's very rare to find family or friends who are equipped to fully carry somebody else, especially when they already have their own burden to bear. Plus it would require admitting to self-harm, which usually results in "Oh my god you CANNOT do that" rather than "Ok, let's talk about why you're doing that."

I suffered a cocktail of mild anxiety and depression for... I'd say half a decade. And the thing about these disorders is that they build. Inexorably. It's in their nature. Leave them for too long and they all grow to absurd proportions. I never resorted to self-harm, but I would oscillate between being terrified to die and desperately wanting to more than anything else. My parents were no help, much less my friends, because they didn't have the words to get through to me and I was either too upset to communicate what I was feeling, or too afraid of another emotional low to talk about my problem. Fortunately, we have enough money to get me professional counseling (and, lately, medicine), and I've gotten much better as of late. But maybe you can see from that little anecdote how difficult it can be, and how many obstacles can present themselves, even when you do seek help.

That's all well and good when you're in the right mind. But it's hard to stay rational under trying circumstances. Self-harm is immediate, it's intense, and it's readily available—Some people just gravitate towards it in times of stress as a matter of course. Especially if they've tried more mundane stress relief and seen no returns from it. And when it comes to anxiety and depression, you sometimes reach a point where sheer chemical reactions in your brain override reason, and you really can't wrap your head around the idea that this isn't forever, this isn't the end of the line, there is another way.

Perhaps you'd care to sign up as a replacement? That way hopefully you wouldn't be needed for a while or for quite as long.
