I've lost my knack for being eloquent lately, so this is gonna be on the short end, but I'm gonna miss having you blue and bold. If I'm completely honest, I kind of suspected you were probably going to leave at some point or another, but when was a different story. It's been weird being your friend all these years -- I remember when we first started talking and were ultra nice to each other, and not even 6 months later we fell into our ~casual antagonism~, lmao. I have you to thank for...the entirety of my music taste, basically, and how invaluable that became to me over a few years. I've seen you grow and change and just become something more along with me & everyone else here through these years, and even if we didn't agree on every little thing (TerrAqua is terrible, Kelly is the real space girlfriend), it's something I wouldn't change for the world. I know you're going to be an excellent English teacher/whatever other degrees you collect like your Star Wars memrobilia, and I know you'll be great at whatever it is that comes next, you've grown so much and deserve it.

Yeah, and not to mention the sheer amount of systems all the games were on. If you wanted to be caught up completely on the KH story, you'd have to own three entirely different systems just to play them all. I want to have all of my games on either one or two systems, before 2.5 I never had a chance to play BBS and never thought I would just because I don't have the funds to go out and get that whenever (plus, this isn't accounting for the fact that unless there are other games on the system you wanna play, you'd be essentially buying the system just for KH, which...lol I love this series, but I ain't buying a $200+ system for one game).

It was first mentioned for the Western audience at the end of the Re:Coded movie, but its been an integral part of X since the first iteration of X launched in Japan a while ago.

Seriously. If anything, I could have understood $60 for 1.5 and especially 2.5, given how massive KH2FM is and getting BBSFM's stuff on top of that. They haven't said how long the Aqua part is, but for a non FM version of DDD and a 2-3 hour movie, that's way too much for a small amount of stuff.

Nice to see 2.9 2.8 confirmed officially. The inclusion of another (mini?) BBS chapter is sorta weird, but considering Aqua's been there like...11 years, there's probably some weird Xehanort related thing only she knows (plus the Realm of Darkness and Aqua in KH3 visuals, lord have mercy). And I guess this also answers why the LinkdIn had stuff like attraction flow listed for 2.8, EXCITED TO GO ROLLERCOASTIN' WITH MY BLUE HAIRED GF.

I think someone mentioned one of the choices involved sacrificing all of humanity? I'll have to look it up again, but even though it's still kinda eh I think it's more...not powerful or relevant, but closer to home than the synthetic vs organic thing (which I think was pretty neatly resolved already with the Geth/Quarian decision you make in ME3).

Oh I'm not serious about it! haha. It was just a thought and a pretty rare to happen at that for people I don't know that well tbh. initial interest in people really comes and goes for me, so idk when it crops up to stay or is just a 1 second thing (the gray-romantic/gray-ace #struggle). of course i'm definitely interested in bein' buds though, she seems really cool and fun to hang with (apparently she got stuck in Alcatraz one night for like 5 hours and traveled a bunch of places. like damn gurl hmu for backpacking across the world)

I was sitting in psych club at school yesterday and found myself thinking "wow y'know this classmate (who is also in the club) is actually sorta cute" A sophomore asked her how old she was because he thought she looked like a teacher, and I didn't see it because she looked 21ish to me and couldn't possibly be older than that. Then she says "I don't like to talk about my age, but after I graduated from x college I worked for eBay for a few years and now here I am among all you babies" and is probably late 20s - early 30s

I've never been in one or been interested in joining a frat, so I can't speak from that angle. That said, I think the point of the Greek organizations is to help foster a community of brotherhood/sisterhood and bring different kinds of people together. AA few of the Greek organizations at my school run charity events every other week and are pretty nice to everyone. One of my Women & Gender Studies teachers actually told us about this fraternity that was very active in trying to combat sexual harassment & assault -- if they noticed one of their members start to give even the slightest indication they were going to do something out of line, they'd take them home (the Greek life on my campus have actual houses on campus which is bullshit to me lmao) and talk with them about it. It's really cool to see there's at least some people that are trying to be proactive.

I have heard the horror stories too; the fraternities over the news the last year especially, and even the sororities are pretty awful in regards to transphobia/transmisogyny. I do hope that with all the media attention aimed at Greek organizations, that there is a really heavy internal push towards better expectations out of their membership.

Overall I think it's another case of Your Mileage May Vary; if it something someone wants to do, they should be aware of the good & bad, and also do research into the one their trying to join & get a general feel of them.

how is is that Destroy has to target Reapers and all synthetic life, yet Synthesis allows you to alter the genome of the entire ****ing galaxy in a blast of green febreeze? I know EDI and the Geth all have Reaper code in their programming, and that's probably what did it, but it's like...they outright say the Reapers are a mixture of both organic and synthetic life (LIKE SYNTHESIS DOES TO EVERYONE LMAO). how can the crucible not distinguish that big a difference? There's such an offputting element to Synthesis to me as is, but mechanically speaking, as an option in the game it doesn't make sense that one beam can alter every life form in the galaxy, yet the other one can't differentiate friend vs foe.

And like, it's probably just because Bioware didn't want to have an ending where everything ends happy and wanted them all to come at some kind of cost, but the difference between Synthesis' scope of power and Destroy's is ridiculous. and you could probably argue Synthesis is the happiest ending in the game, but they really try and push you in those last few minutes to choose it ( i accidentally chose it and had to reload >: )

I disagree! I don't think hookups are a bad thing at all. (To give reference to this, I'm somewhere on the asexual/aromantic end of things, so I technically don't have a foot in this race in any way :b). I think it depends on what you're looking for mostly. A good number of people want to have relationships that aren't solely based around sex and have that long term emotional bond to it that you mentioned. But there are also people and also times where the people who do want relationships may just want to have a non-committed, physical romp with someone.

Maybe you want to try out sex to see if it's something you like, but aren't in a place for a relationship. Maybe you've just amicably broken up with your partner and you decide "yo we don't work together on an emotional level but physically? ha-cha-cha." Or maybe you just like having sex and don't want any strings attached! There's a bunch of valid reasons people have for pursuing hookups/friend with benefits, and I really think it depends on that person's unique circumstances and what they want to pursue that makes them happy. It's completely fine for someone to never want to have a hookup or know in their gut that's not something for them, but it's equally fine for someone who knows this is for them to go for it and feel like it's a good thing.

And the thing about hookups, or well, hookups with consistent partner(s), is that it encourages you to do a lot of talking with the other person! Asking how they're feeling about it, making sure things between you & partner(s) are okay based on the terms you agreed on for doing this. I can't deny there aren't some really bad sides to hookups, but doing it with someone you trust and someone you can talk to helps it to become a positive experience for everyone involved.

I'm in the same dilemma as Below with regards to GSC and HGSS. I love Johto a ton, and really love the additions the remakes added, but there's just a certain charm to the originals' 8-bit simplicity that makes me go with them.

ORAS and BW are also really great too. The entire plot of BW and the Delta Episode are some of the best writing of the game franchise to me.
