Elsewhere in a seemingly abandoned building...

A table with six seats was in the center of the room, old and dusty. A man with gray hair blew the dust off of the table and looked at the only other person there. He gave a nod as if to acknowledge his presence, and then slammed three pictures onto the center of the table. One was a picture of a darker looking individual with a sickening grin plastered on his face and a scythe slung over his shoulder, another was an image of a behemoth of a man, taller than anyone the guild master had ever seen with muscle to match and a horrific looking club. The last, however, was not one but two people. One of the men was missing his left arm, the other his right, and both had a look of insanity in their eyes that the guild master had only seen in foes that had been tortured for months on end relentlessly.

Pointing at the picture of the man with the scythe, Alastor Nex spoke up. "Four targets. These men, Orpheus, are dangerous criminals. Each of them have a history of violence, and those who go to apprehend them are never seen again. They are so feared their very names send chills down the spines of the townspeople, or so they say, which makes them perfect for our guild. That one is Dane Erapper, commonly referred to as the Shadow Reaper. Brute force is needed to sway him, and so I will cut him down a notch or two and force him to help us" the wizard said, before pointing his dagger at the giant with the club.

"They say this man has no name, or that if he has one nobody has ever lived long enough to know it. He is simply known as The Warden. His strength is legendary, but rumours say his speed is his flaw. By itself it's not bad by a long shot, but in comparison to his strength and defence it's practically nonexistent. Which is where you come in. With your undead, you should be able to keep him at bay long enough to subdue him. Failing that, you kill him and take him as one of your minions" he explained, going over the strategy. He paused when he got to the last picture, but continued shortly after.

"These two...they are known as The Hands of Madness, and if anybody is going to refuse our offer, it will be them. They are said to have lost their sanity many years ago, having it taken from them by a mage that specialised in curses and torture. As a result, however, they are highly resistant to magic, and their own magical skill is remarkably impressive. Both of us will attack these two and convince them to aid us. With intellects such as ours, it shouldn't be much of a problem" Alastor stated.

"If you truly wish to see this guild rise and become more powerful than either of us imagined, it is exceptionally important that these four join us. With their strength, this guild will be unstoppable, and we will see such power at our command it will make even Ezekiel seem like a mere child. Bring them to me, and everything we have been working for will come to fruition" the guild master finished, not willing to state his other thought.

And if Thea is truly with Sapphire Eclipse, she will share their fate.

Skadi was surprised to see Zwei challenged the prince. There wasn't much point to it, surely, and all it did was delay the mission. Although, with the way things had been with the guild recently she reasoned it could be good to let off some steam. "You know, I once saw Caleb do jousting just for fun. He was pretty good at it, never let me do it though...always insisted it was too dangerous. But hey, I've been through a lot of danger lately, and it looked like a lot of fun" the ice mage said, before thinking about it for a moment. "I want to take on the prince too!" she declared.

"Taking on an entire dark guild would be a terrible idea. One small group against an entire squad isn't a favourable outcome, but if it comes down to that or letting lullaby do its thing then I'm going with taking on the dark guild" Caleb said, listening closely as everyone spoke. He was learning a lot about Eisenwald and Erigor, and the more he heard the more dangerous the mission seemed.

"Marriage should never be a necessity, marriage is something people should do for love, because they want to. At the same time though, I can sort of understand where the prince is coming from...I mean, if I had the ability to save people by marrying someone I like to think I'd go through with it" Skadi said, keeping her thoughts to herself until that point. The more she heard, the more she felt for the prince. It must be such a difficult position for him to be in, and it only made her more eager to help him out.

Gexln nodded in response to Malkira, acknowledging the admittance of defeat. He made his way over towards the bar once more as people departed for their missions. Sitting down, he was just about to fix himself a drink before the doors open and a high pitched, angry voice echoed through the guild hall. A small, orange cat had entered and he was very riled up about something.

"GEXLN YOU TREACHEROUS WHORE!" the tiny voice called out.

Gexln chuckled a little bit at the outburst. He knew exactly who, and what, the voice belonged to. He turned around and showed a grin as the small cat raced over to him. "Hello to you too, Tabby" he said, stifling a laugh at the fury on the small creature's face.

"DON'T HELLO ME YOU LITTLE SHIT! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW LONG I WAS LOST OUT THERE?" Tabby yelled out.

"You've lived here for eight years Tabby! How do you not know your way around?!" the dragon slayer responded, genuinely shocked.

"Oh you think I'm stupid or something? You wanna mess?" Tabby cried angrily as he began swiping his tiny paws at Gexln, who simply put one hand on his head and kept him away.

"I've been back here for not even a day and I've had three people try to fight me. I guess I shouldn't be surprised, but damn Tabby, why are you so riled up over this? You could have asked just about anyone for directions if it was that bad, and I was kind of eager to get back and get on a mission again"

As Gexln spoke, the cat started looking less and less angry and more just hurt in general. "You know about my abandonment issues" Tabby said, his voice very much full of sorrow and his eyes looking watery.

Gexln sighed. He'd forgotten about Tabby's past, or at least what the cat had shared. Now he felt a little guilty. Grabbing Tabby, he pulled the cat to him and ruffled his fur a little with his hand. "Eh, I'm sorry Tab. Tell you what, you follow me back to the center of town and I'll go buy you two fish, how's that sound?" he offered. However, the small glare on Tabby's face said it all. "Fine, three. But that's it!" Gexln decided, to which the cat responded by jumping up and sitting on Gexln's shoulder, ready to depart.

"Well if they take away the earpiece there is always Uncle Errol. He's pretty powerful, and I can't imagine he would let us go in unprotected. Just trust him and we'll be fine, he won't let us down" the girl responded, remaining quiet the rest of the trip until they arrived. Once they got to the carpark, she punched herself remarkably hard in the face so as to leave a mark to help the act, and then she climbed out of the car and walked over to the doors, making sure to keep a look of annoyance on her face and allowing Jean to push her along like he probably would a prisoner just so she could practice. When Christie got to the doors, she shot a glance towards Jean, waiting for him to knock and get a move on with the operation.

Lucas was shocked at the fact that Colton hadn't thrown the table at him. He had no doubt Colton hated him, and while yes he was injured already he was capable of actual thought and had the ability to adapt to the situation, whereas the robot's intelligence extended only as far as its programming. Nonetheless, he sighed as he walked over and simply put a foot on Colton's back to pin him down and show him how powerless he was.

"Colton, if you try this again, you won't survive it. Stay in the cell and you live, get out of the cell and you die, okay? You've had a lot of chances already. You fought back when we initially took you, but that was manageable and to be expected. Then you trashed India's lab, just a small annoyance so that was fine. Then you messed with the machines, and though it really messed with things your determination was admirable. Finally, you blew my damn hand off, and the only reason I didn't kill you there and then was because Lyle needed your results for the fight against the robots. Now though, you're just like any other subject. Try this again, and we will terminate you. We can and will find someone else to take your place in your absence" Lucas said, no longer sounding calm but rather pissed off. Turning to look at Isabella, he shot a glare at her. "We can and will find someone else to take his place" the investigator demanded as if to enforce his point, before getting off Colton's back, picking him up with his good hand, and simply shoving him back into his cell.

As Shane's plan was working, he maintained his calm look when the guards began beating each other up. However, they soon stopped and left the cell, leaving Shane's plans ruined. To top that off, alarms began going off and metal walls slammed shut, placing Shane in complete darkness with no possible way to escape. Either Lyle and the others had caught onto their plan early, or Colton had seriously screwed up. Given the circumstances, Shane was going to go with the latter. Only one thought was going through Shane's head, one thought that was repeating over and over again. Damnit Colton, you had one job.

"No, he locked you up because he was afraid of you. That doesn't mean you deserve it. He should've helped you with it, not locked you away. What kind of person locks away their own daughter? That's just ridiculous" Tobias said, figuring that was the right thing to say. To an extent he believed it, but enough to say so? Not quite. "Eh, I mean I guess setting up something would be best. I never was much of a team player anyway, but I'm sure I can manage working with you. By the way, you might want this. It served its purpose pretty well" the boy said with a chuckle, grabbing the bra out of his pocket that Jason had somehow missed and handing it back to Cynthia, before realizing what her reaction would probably be, so he made sure to take a couple of steps away from her while her mind processed what was happening.

"No, Xander will try to kill me. Seriously, I've only gotta rest a tiny bit more and I'll be back at full strength, and then Xander doesn't stand a chance. If he tries to kill me, he'll fail. Horribly. The others won't try to kill me because of you. I won't hurt you, but they don't know that, so it'll be fine" Dane said, an air of confidence around him. It hadn't been particularly long, but he was already feeling very well rested. He looked up from where he was resting as he heard a sound come from their right in the distance, like something ripping. There was some kind of strange portal, like it was a tear in the very fabric of reality, and people were stepping out of it. Not just any people, but the ones Alisia had just talked about. Jerking his thumb in their direction, he spoke up. "Looks like we won't have to wait long to find out. I won't kill Xander yet, but if he attacks me then he's kinda screwed himself over, so you might wanna say something to him before he does his blurry crap and tries to stab me in the face or something" Dane suggested lazily.

Hunter spawned in the keyblade graveyard alongside Caleb and Audrey, after having grabbed them and shoved them through the tear before following himself. And how awesome the keyblade graveyard was. The area was bland, dead, and boring as ever, but it had Hunter in it now, hence the awesome comment. Immediately he noticed Dane sitting in front of the cave. "Look! Over there! It's the bad guy, but not quite as bad as he was before, and he's in front of the hero's cave! And his slave is inside of the cave!" Hunter shouted, pointing at Dane. He then turned around and pointed at Caleb. "Archer, be a good dog and go try to murder him!" he ordered, testing out his new pet, as Caleb let his fury guide him and began sprinting towards Dane.

As the alarm went off, Lucas' eyes widened. An escape? Now? Damnit, was this why Shane had attacked him like that? They'd been planning something. "Colton you son of a *****" Lucas said quietly as he looked at one of the nearby screens that told him the source of the alarm. He turned to look at Isabella. "You know, given your high IQ, you sure have a habit of letting your subject get out of control" the investigator said bitterly. He then took off, running down the hall towards Colton's cell.

He arrived there quickly, and wasn't surprised to see Colton out of his cell. "Colton, I might be missing the use of my arm, and I might not have a gun, but I still have a dagger and you're still sick and unhealthy. Not to mention the robots that are against you, too. You've got two minutes to get back into your cell before I force you back into there by whatever means necessary" Lucas threatened, before glancing at his watch and keeping an eye on the time.

As Gaius lashed out with his fists, Gexln nimbly dodged the strikes, his agility far surpassing that of the young fire mage that was assaulting him. The kid was putting up a decent fight, but to say he was outclassed was an understatement; there was a world of difference between the two combatants, and Gexln knew it. Immediately after Gaius struck, the huge statue that was moving sent its fist rocketing towards the dragon slayer. The force behind the punch was impressive to say the least, but Gexln held up both of his hands and shifted his stance so that he was in the best possible position to defend against such an attack.

As the attack impacted with Gexln, a small shockwave was released due to the sheer force behind the strike. The shockwave ended, but Gexln hadn't shifted an inch. The slightest grin appeared on the S-class wizard's face. "That's it?" he taunted, right as a young fire mage came flying at him.

Gaius was shocked that Gexln had blocked the attack with such ease. He didn't know Malkira, but he looked pretty strong and a rocky statue surely would have a bit of power in a solid strike. That hadn't deterred him though, indicated by him leaping at Gexln once again, with flames rotating around his fists. "You're going down!" he cried as he struck with all his might, but was met with Gexln simply blocking once more with his hands. The guy wasn't even using his weapon and he was this strong, what was he?!

"If you think that's all it takes to beat a S-class wizard, you've got another thing coming. I beat the S-class trials at 13, imagine how much stronger I've gotten 8 years after" Gexln said with a slight chuckle. The look of surprise on Gaius' face was priceless. Why wouldn't he be surprised? The S-class trials were supposed to be the biggest test the guild had to offer, and he'd beaten it with Quinn as his partner at 13. Taking advantage of the surprise, Gexln flipped backwards, kicking Gaius in the face with his heels as he went back a metre, before dashing forwards with a powerful uppercut to Gaius.

The fire mage felt the hit connect, sending searing pain throughout his body as he was knocked high into the sky and away from the battle, slamming into a wall and falling to the ground. How was it possible that he'd beaten the trials at 13? He hadn't taken them himself, but they were said to be stupidly difficult, and he'd done it as a child? "How did you beat them?"

"The S-class trials are done in pairs. I paired up with Quinn. Despite being just kids, we defeated them. I'm the shadow dragon slayer, I won't go down easily. This fight's been a pretty good warmup though, so you've got that going for you"

So that was how. He was a dragon slayer. He hadn't heard much about dragon slayers, but they were supposed to be pretty damn strong. Either way, Gaius wasn't going to continue fighting. Gexln was holding back even now, he'd been toying with them. So if he kept fighting, he would take serious injury and that could influence his next mission in a bad way. With a sigh, Gaius sat down and waited.

With Gaius giving up and no longer fighting, Gexln realized that he, too, should be attempting to find a mission, or maybe even run one. However, he had the problem of Malkira. Not that it was a serious problem, but he would have to end the battle quickly. "Alright, now you have two choices here; either you can go and find a mission yourself, or I can kick your ass and then you can go to your mission. Take your pick" Gexln said, standing relatively close to Malkira but far enough that he could prepare a defence if Malkira decided to attack.

Zane had been stunned into silence at the sight before them. A civilization on top of a tree was one thing, but dragons. Actual dragons! He remembered as a child, where he'd been given toys of the majestic beasts, but none of them came even close to capturing the true awesomeness of what he could see. At the thought of the toys he'd been given, his mind snapped immediately back to Skadi, the one who had given him the toys. This was another world, a new place entirely that people would surely have never seen before, at least not any humans. The police had never found anything about any of the missing people, and Zane had always imagined that the person responsible was just exceptionally intelligent..but what if they weren't even human? What if they had come from the world they were in? "Yeah, it's just reminding me of my childhood, reading about dragons and elves and well...pretty much everything here. Eren, was it? Have you ever heard of any humans being taken here in the last 20 years or so? Not here as in this town, necessarily, but this world in general?" he asked, eager to find out the answer.

"Well yeah of course I'm perfect, why wouldn't I be? I don't think I'm going to be your queen though, you're not really my type" Lilith said, shortly before gasping. Had she actually just said that? She'd never not been attracted to somebody in the slightest. Well, at least now she knew; it wasn't just anything that had a pulse she liked, it was anything that had a pulse and was human that she liked...she was almost disappointed in herself. She was snapped out of her thoughts by Alec's little outburst, and was intrigued by the way he was talking. Apparently there was something he gave a crap about aside from money, sex, and power. What an idiot, those were the only things important in life, that was like the first thing Lilith had learned in school!

Although, that wasn't the only thing Lilith had picked up from the conversation between Craxen and Alec. "Ooooh! Elves! Actual elves! Like, taller dwarves without the beer gut! Can I kill them?" she exclaimed joyfully, before realizing one crucial thing; Alec had called dibs on murdering their former allies. "Nuh uh, you won't kill all of them. You're going to leave some for me! You hold them, I'll hit them, perfect teamwork" the girl said with a small laugh. She walked over to another pile of gold and prepared to gather more of it; it seemed like her pockets were endless or something with the amount she'd taken, and saw a lovely dagger with a ruby in the hilt. It. Was. Gorgeous! With a little cry of joy she picked it up and studied it carefully, before putting it with the other weapons she had in a little satchel she had with her.

Christie got into the car, finding it surprisingly comfortable to sit inside. She wasn't interested in cars too much, but damn it was a nice one. She was still marveling over the car when Jean spoke about being a cop and a fugitive, snapping her out of her thoughts and back into reality. She had to maintain focus, keep concentration purely on the mission at hand. Everything depended on herself and Jean keeping in character and convincing them of the scenario they had to come up with. She hadn't really thought much of a scenario, but thankfully they had about fifteen miles to discuss it.

It didn't take Christie too long to come up with something, though that had to do with the fact she probably wouldn't do much talking to the people that had captured Colton. Their questions would surely be for Jean, given that he was the one pretending to be a man of the law. "Alright, so you remember the park that Carter and Colton both went missing at? If they ask, say you found me there. Say that I went to you for help, telling you that my friend went missing, and when you asked if there's any reason someone would want to hurt him that I told you that he's a telekinetic. If they still aren't buying it, then you could say something about me describing the car that they drove away in, and that should get their attention. Sound good to you or do you have a better idea?" Christie asked, thinking aloud.

Gaius was getting his ass kicked pretty badly, but not as badly as people had probably expected. He'd taken far more punches than Gexln had, but he'd gotten a couple of them in. However, as he he saw Thomas come over and brag, his face was one of confusion. He stopped focusing on the fight for a moment. "Not a clue what you're talkin' about, I was there the whole time. And who cares about some red rock? That ain't gonna win you any fi-" he started before he felt a painful kick to his stomach.

"Don't lose your focus or you're a dead man walking" was all Gexln said as his foot became engulfed in shadow and sunk straight into Gaius' stomach, knocking the boy back and sending him flying across the hall, crashing straight into Malkira.

"Holy crap you're new. Are you a living statue? How do you eat?" Gaius asked, a thousand and one questions coming to mind.

"Giving up already?" the S class dragon slayer called.

Remembering the fight, he turned back to face the direction of Gexln, but that was when Ra called out. "I think I saw Dale with it" he called out. "I ain't giving up yet! I'm just getting warmed up. You running out of steam? My grandmother can kick harder than that!" he shouted at Gexln.

A slight smirk appeared on Gexln's face as Gaius retaliated. The kid was a pushover for him, of course, but at least he didn't give up. It was good to see new guild members fighting so hard. "Remind me to never get into a fight with your grandmother then" he responded as the fire mage and shadow dragon slayer clashed once more.

After the boy had asked about Cynthia's predicament, he was then surprised to see her suggest going to her place. Oh wait, damn, no it was to explain the situation. Then again, he supposed that was important too. So he decided to follow her, for once not saying a word as he was lead back. The moment they got back to her apartment and she sat down, Tobias sat down beside her. She picked up a wooden box and held it. Oh, that made sense. She was secretly into arts and crafts and that was why she was so pissed. And then the box exploded.

Tobias jumped up immediately, stepping away from the couch for just a moment. She was one of them? How long had she known? No, if she'd known about it before she probably wouldn't have gotten caught...meaning the information was new to her aswell. Waaaait. He could use this to his advantage. Maybe she'd give into his creepy gross lust if he kept her secret and kept her alive. Yes, then it would be worth it. How could he react to it though? He had to make it sound like he was heavily interested and was going to keep her safe. "Well......that's a thing. Now I see why Jason would lock you up, I still think it was a stupid idea though" he said. Nailed it. Shrugging his shoulders, he looked her right in the eyes. "So now that we're not in Raven Sun, how else are we going to get paid?"

"As much as I wish I could go, Kye, I can't. My arm might be next to useless, but I still intend on capturing the other group of people. Which means I can't go, I need to stay here. If there is a problem though, send a text to my phone and I'll get there as soon as I'm able" Lucas replied to his partner. If he left at such a crucial time, then everything they'd been working for could be lost. Isabella's explanation sounded sincere enough to satisfy him for the moment. "What's next is pretty much standard procedure, or at least what we've been doing lately. Check security, keep an eye on your subjects, and just run tests to develop the research you need. Even if we capture the group of people, the research will still help. It's a boring and uneventful task, but its what needs to be done" the investigator spoke.

"If I wasn't weird, I wouldn't be here would I?" Shane answered. Well, that plan had failed. Fortunately for Shane, it hadn't backfired. The manipulation hadn't worked, but he should have expected that result from trying to use his own words to manipulate the people. Two of them had left, meaning only two remained. Thankfully his task was now easier. He hadn't sensed a response from Colton, so that was worrying, but he could feel that the boy was alive. If he wasn't responding, there was a chance he was simply heavily distracted, which meant he had tried to escape, and that meant Shane didn't have much time.

He had to do something and quick. There was a good chance if he tried to manipulate both of them one of them would give into it, but maybe things just needed a little bit of a push. He had to hope his plan worked; if it didn't then he was in a very, very dangerous situation. He reached out for the minds of both of them, no longer wincing at the sound (but damn did that take some serious willpower) and influenced their minds. He used his Darkside View on both of them, bringing out their darker, more aggressive personalities. In just a few moments they would be like rabid beasts, he was sure of it. Then he used his pushing on the two of them, planting just a suggestion to strike the other straight in the face, hoping their natural lust for dominance aided him. He then simply sat there and waited, doing his best to look as though he were bored.

"I'll live. Which is more than I can say for that heartless. It was a little sloppy, but you got the job done" Dane said as he stood up slowly. He looked behind him at what he'd slammed into. The mouth of a cave, well damn no wonder it had hurt. It got him wondering though. The legend had spoken of a hero inside a cave, and he had gone to the keyblade graveyard because it sounded like it fit. There was no way it was that simple, was there? "Hold up, I'll be back in a minute. I'm just going to go check something" Dane explained. He walked into the cave and headed down the single pathway, getting to the end. What he saw there surprised even him, causing his eyes to widen. He wandered back to Alisia and sat down, leaning against the mouth of the cave once again. "If you want to see what your hero looks like, go in there. Seems to be asleep or something. As much as I hate to say it, I don't know how to wake the hero up. Which means that we're going to have to wait for the others to catch up. Here's hoping Samsara isn't as thick as she seemed, if they take too long I think I'm more likely to die of boredom than anything else" Dane said, closing his eyes as he did what he could to rest.

"Traitors? That can't be good. I wonder what would possibly prompt someone to turn against Raven Sun. For all the good your organization has done, I can't too many would have a problem with it" Lucas said, sitting down as he spoke to Kye. "Hmm. This tattoo isn't quite as good as some of the others I've seen, but I suppose they were professionals, so given the circumstances I'd say it's a solid attempt. Thank you, Isabella" he said. However, a thought had been bugging him for a couple of minutes at that point. Isabella was a telepath, and he knew that. He also knew her desire to know things, and to figure out how minds worked. "Isabella, I have a question for you. At any point during the tattoo or before it, did you attempt to read my mind or my memories? And keep your answer honest. I might not be a telepath myself, but I can spot a liar fairly well" Lucas said, eyeing the scientist suspiciously. He shot a glance towards Kye, just to make sure she was still here. Lucas trusted Isabella about as far as he could throw her. While she had helped him out, he knew how unstable the girl was.

Tobias was fairly quiet as he was lead out, which was unusual for him. However, when Jason made the comment about putting an end to him, the boy couldn't resist making a remark. "If you were going to put an end to me, you would've done it earlier. You've had a couple of chances, you just haven't seized them" he responded simply. He walked along, not giving any resistance as he was shown to the exit and grabbed his claws. Putting the gloves back on, he felt immediately a lot safer. Right away, he turned back to face Cynthia. "Alright, now I know we aren't partners or anything like that, but after the hell I went through trying to get you out of there, I think I've earned an explanation. I got locked up and shown the door after I violently attacked several people, threatened a few more, and half blinded Joshua, but from what I heard you just got into a fight with Jason. Call me crazy, but given your personality that doesn't scream like its worth being kicked out over. What really happened in there?" Tobias asked.

Christie nodded her head as she heard the instructions given to her and heard the way the earpiece worked. Coming up with a scenario could be interesting, but really anything would do so long as it was believable. The fact they already knew she was a telepath could actually come in handy; if they knew her face and knew she was with Colton, then they would be more likely to accept that she had been captured. This was it, this was the day they brought Colton home. "Just get me in there. They can try to read my mind all they want, but the second I see an opportunity to get everyone out I'm taking it; and god help them if they get in my way" the girl said, a serious edge to her voice.

As the men came in to clean up the mess in the cell, Shane could do nothing but stand and watch, sitting down in the corner. There were four of them, and every time he tried to read one of their minds that horribly loud, high pitched frequency ran through his mind again. He couldn't focus with that, so he couldn't do anything.

However, right as the men dragged Carter's body out of the cell and began mopping up the blood, Shane was reminded of the aftermath of that night, the night his powers had really been in overdrive. He had manipulated twenty people at once with his power, this was only a fifth of that. The headbands sent painful frequencies, but it wasn't like the others...no, he could still hear their thoughts, it was just painful to do.

He began prying into the mind of one of the two with the gun trained on him, wincing as that pain entered his mind once more. You know I can read minds. Wouldn't you love to know what your colleagues think of you? The one cleaning the blood closest to my feet; he thinks you're a coward. He's always thought you're never going anywhere in life because you don't have the balls. The guy next to him? He's hated you from the moment he met you, he wishes he was cleaning your blood right now instead of the kid. And the guy next to you, the guy that acts like he's your best friend? Your girlfriend broke up with you two weeks ago, claimed she thought you were going to be hurt, but she lied to you. The guy next to you and her have been seeing each other for a month and a half now. Doesn't that piss you off? All four of you are supposed to be a unit, supposed to be a team, and yet out of the four of you...you're the only one they don't trust. If you help me get out of here, I'll see to it they suffer, and you'll never have secrets kept from you again. Shoot them right now, not enough to kill them but enough to maim them, and prove that they're wrong about you. Shane sent telepathically to the man, whilst simultaneously using his pushing on him and rewriting his memory so that all he said made sense.

At the same time, Shane sent a swift message to Colton. Colton, if this backfires and I die, give them hell, but if you're going to make your move then do it now! Do it for Carter!

Zane could only sit and watch as the car began taking off, and as the car turned into a park he let out a yelp of surprise, his eyes going wide. At this time of the day the park would surely be populated, what was the guy thinking? He reached to undo his seat belt, but just as he was about to the ground began rising. Actually, the car just began going underground, entering a tunnel that was lit with...drainflies was what the elf had called them. He had also mentioned something about it being a path that seperated his world from theirs. While it made sense with what Zane had seen, it was something that made Zane's head spin. This had to be some kind of dream. I mean, other worlds? Wouldn't someone have discovered them by now? He kept his mouth shut and simply looked ahead, though he was full to the brim with questions.

Lilith waved away the smoke from Alec before she let out a little squeal of excitement when she heard Craxen. "Murder? Oh I've always wanted to. I've never done it, but since I was this high" the girl said, holding her hand up a bit off the ground, "I've always wanted to see what it looks like, and what it feels like. I wanna watch the blood run from them, I wanna watch them go boom, I don't care how it is so long as it's fun, and hey torture helps with that. Is there anyone that doesn't want that?" she said with a giggle. She then skipped happily over to the money that was all over the place. She'd clearly died and gone to heaven. Money, power, sex, and more money, and she got to fulfill her dream? This day was turning out to be awesome. She began grabbing money and stuffing it into her pockets. "Besides, it's not like we've got anything better to do. AND we get paid!" she exclaimed, stopping a moment to jump for joy at the statement before continuing to steal- I mean borrow the money indefinitely.

Gaius walked back towards the guild hall, his nose still sore from where Mikasa had hit him. The trip back had been relatively quiet; he was both tired from the fighting and also feeling quite content with things. As he neared the guild hall, he could see Caleb leaning against the castle, simply waiting. He waved to his friend before speaking. "Hey Caleb, lost somethin'?" he asked.

"Sort of. I haven't seen Skadi since before she left on the mission. I'm starting to get a little worried, this isn't like her" Caleb responded, before noticing the various injuries on his young friend. "What happened to you?" he questioned, the concern evident in his voice. He rolled his eyes quickly, however, at Gaius' response.

"Fought a maniac trying to free a demon. Guy just didn't want to stay down, he kept going into different forms. At least Cal didn't have more than one form, she went down pretty easy" Gaius answered.
    "Calxiyn was fighting you?"
"Yeeeeeah, she put on some mask and went insane. It's okay though, still kicked her ass" Gaius replied. He went to walk past Caleb and into the guild hall, but stopped and looked over his shoulder at Caleb. "You coming inside or what?"

Caleb shook his head. "I'm going to wait out here for a few more minutes, see if Skadi turns up"
"Alright, suit yourself" the fire mage said as he pushed open the doors and walked inside.

As Gaius opened the doors, a strong gust of wind blew through the doors behind him, as though even mother nature was like 'holy crap, Team King has returned'. And it should have been, because not only were they the legendary Team King, but they were the first group of non S class members to complete a S class mission. Time seemed to slow to a crawl as they took the first steps inside, with the sound of silence accompanying them followed closely by the sound of a single step. It was a very intense moment, one full of seriousness and tension, right up until Gaius decided to open his mouth.

"We're back, and damn did we kick some ass. We're S class material right here, slayers of demons, destroyer of lunatics, and so powerful we destroyed the moon itself!" Gaius declared. He then saw Skadi and called out to her. "Hey Skadi! Caleb's looking for you, he's outside" he shouted.

With Quinn backing down and settling for a drink, Gexln decided the best thing to do was to continue his drink undisturbed. He'd wanted a fight, but if Quinn wasn't willing then there weren't many people he thought would be a challenge. He turned and sat down on one of the stools and was about to order another drink, before he heard the sound of a certain loudmouth shouting about how strong he was. He looked over his shoulder. "I only just got back a short while ago, but the moon seemed intact then" he said dryly.

"Well yeah, if we destroyed the actual moon we'd cause all kinds of problems, we got rid of a curse that's been on that island for a long time now though!"
"If you lied about destroying the moon, how can we believe you about the other things?"
    "Because they're true!"

At this comment, Gexln stood up from the bar and strolled over to where Gaius was. He stood over the boy, not a great deal taller than him but enough he could look over him. "Dunno, you look pretty scrawny to me" he responded.
"You don't look very tough either. I bet I could take you down with one hand behind my back"
"I doubt you could even land a hit on me with both hands available"
Before Gexln could react, Gaius lunged forward and punched him straight in the arm, before backing up a short distance. "Looks like you're the liar here" he taunted.
"I like your attitude, but that's only going to get you so far" Gexln said as he lunged straight for Gaius.

"As stupid as the rest of us? Karina, you're asking him to check a racing track for a skateboarding kid. A racing track, as in vehicles racing around on it, not children on boards. Ice cream can wait a bit, why not help the guy find his son?" Glen asked, irritated with Karina already. Damn he'd forgotten how much ***** she was outside of SoS. He walked over to Goofy and held out his hand as if he meant to shake Goofy's. "My name's Glen, nice to meet you" he greeted.

So everything had worked out in the end. Boreal had gotten his ass kicked, the demon villagers were all better, and Veilen was stuck in a tree. However, Mikasa had called them traitors for going on the S class mission. "But did we betray Evanora's trust or prove she should trust us more? I don't know if you realized, but we completed the S class mission. I'd say we're ready to take on some test to become S class. You're just pissy because we're better than you" Gaius responded, before wandering over to grab Veilen's sword. He held it up, and then pulled Veilen out of the tree as he handed his comrade his sword back. "Hey Veilen, I have a great idea. When we get back, lets launch you at Thomas to show him what he missed out on!" the fire mage exclaimed with a mischevious grin on his face, ready to leave.
