You can't tell if most of "those" words are the truth because most of them are metaphors. Metaphors are sometimes hard to understand. Like Noah's Ark, that's obviously not true, I mean you can't put all of the land-animals on a ship at once, I mean he used wood to build it...For the most part, the Bible is really a huge fable to live by. I believe most of it is true, just fully, I mean not like a lie, but like over-dramatic if you know what I mean. The Bible just consist of many stories, although I believe that many of them are the truth, there are also many that are just there as lessons.

So that's why he wrote the bible, because he's mysterious? He's so mysterious because no one has seen physical evidence that he exist, nobody knows for sure if he exist, nobody knows for sure if he created everything, nobody knows for sure if he did everything that was said that he did (I'm not sure if I worded the last one right...), he's mysterious because people have faith in him, regardless if they know for sure that he exist...but I don't really know what you mean by mysterious. I also believe, though it may go against the Bible (I don't know), that if God does truly exist, I don't think he would be a man, but a woman...I mean think about it, if what is said about him is true, wouldn't you think that he was a woman? I don't know how to word that right either.

To me, sorry if I'm sounding ignorant to whoever is not a Christian here and how stupid I must be for saying this even though the Bible is nothing more than an object that contains pages with words on it, the Bible is more than a book, it's not just pages with words on it, it's rules, morals, stories, fables, guidance, it has all the things written down in it that you should live by, I mean Christian or not. Makes you wonder why it's called the Holy Bible.

I'm sorry for having faith in my religon, I mean you may think that me believeing in something I have been taught my whole life is ignorant, but you know, we have differant beliefs so whatever.

That's what kinda pisses me off...you can't talk to somebody about your beliefs without them trying to disprove what you believe in.

As if people don't do that all the time, like in the crusades, I wonder how many people lied about their belief in God. I have faith in my religion, so I'm not really worried about being reincarnated into a toad, and if I do get reincarnated into an animal of lesser intelligent than humans, I would live a good life to be reincarnated into a human again. I'm not fully behind my logic of "what if you are wrong?" it was more of a thought I just had, and wasn't really a theory, I just kinda thought about it while I was writing. And you could have complete faith in God and Jesus if you converted to Christianity, you might not have at first, but if you follow the Christian life, you would probably have faith, regardless of your thoughts in the past. I mean, just look at all the people that were Christians, when they turned into atheist, there minds are made up about God not existing. I guess me saying I didn't want to argue means nothing...

Well excuse me for not remembering a number.

I wasn't really directing the whole thing at you, because I read what you said, and I knew that you weren't a complete atheist, I guess you are like me, in I understand you right, you question your belief about God, but it seems you do it more than I do, and sorry if that's not correct, I didn't fully understand what you meant by that post. I meant that almost every atheist I have ever known has making fun of religions, so I guess I was just really pissed about another thread being created that questions God's existence, regardless if the person doesn't 100% believe that God doesn't exist. I remember someone telling me that the Bible wasn't written by just ONE person, but by like at least three, no more than five people, wrote it, and that when it was translated, some things weren't translated correctly, and that some of the things in the Bible weren't fully correct, because the stories in the Bible were passed down through mouth, like many other fables. And I hope we don’t have any hard feelings against each other.

I'm not in full belief that God created it in seven days, but if Christianity is correct, God is one powerful being, so it's possible. Metaphors are used a lot in the Bible, so it may be just another one, like Noah's ark for example. Most of the things stated in the Bible are just stories, but have a great meaning, like a fable almost, and yes metaphors are used in the Bible a lot too which would explain my belief that things that are written in the Bible are partially true, just not all of it. I thought that the end of the generation meant judgment day, or the end of days, but that’s my opinion. I've also heard through out my whole life that God's view of time is WAY shorter than ours, in a way it would be true, because the older you get, the shorter time is, I believe that God has been around a REALLY long time, so time is REALLY fast for him.

I'm kinda getting tired with all the atheist on this site :\ You think about it, I mean someone, or something, had to create the universe. I know about the big-bang, but what created the things that created the big-bang? It's not like space just came out of no where, like it's just "been" there, someone or something had to create it, in other words God. And I'm getting tired of atheist making fun of Christians, Jews, and all the other religious people out there. I'm not a hard-core Christian I guess you could say, sometimes I doubt the existence of God, but I always come back to the conclusion that he is real, and Jesus is our savior. The fact that people make fun of religious people disgust me, Christians go out into the world and save souls from burning in hell, even if hell nor heaven exist, they are trying to SAVE somebody from burning and being tortured for all eternity, and I doubt anyone could say that's stupid. I believe in God, so I don't like to hear people talk about how he doesn't exist, because where's the evidence that he doesn't? Even though they are asking where's the evidence that he does exist, take a look at the world, I mean, Scientific theories explain how things are created, God is the answer why things are created, that's my belief. We all have the right to believe what we want to believe, but why choose to be an atheist? You have no morals to live by, and if hell and heaven does exist, as I believe, if your a Christian, you go to heaven, if you aren't, you go to hell...so can I ask all the atheist in the world, what's the point of taking a risk? So what if nothing happens when we die, there's no point in believing that God doesn't exist, because the outcome of him existing, would be you going to hell, so in other words: If nothing happens when you die, even if you do believe in God, nothing happens, but if you are a Christian you get to go to heaven if you ask for forgiveness, but if you don't believe, you go to hell, why risk the possibility of going to hell, if what atheist are stating is true "that nothing happens when you die" then why not choose to have the chance to go to heaven if something DOES happen when you die? I also don't understand why someone would believe nothing happens when you die, Science has no explanation of what happens when you die, other than your body rotting and eventually giving nutrients to our planet. I believe that we do have souls, and that when we die, our souls go to heaven or hell, depending on what we believe in.

Note:I don't want to argue with anyone about what I just posted, because religious arguments are one of the worst.

I really miss Cheat! and X-Play. Now it's mostly Ninja Warrior and Cops. The only thing they have come out with recently that was any good was the "Movies that don't suck" program.

Have you ever listened to Christian-Screamo bands? As I Lay Dying (yes, they said they were a Christian band themselves), blessthefall (Drums are amazing and the vocals are too), Destroy the Runner (An overall good band, but not as good as blessthefall), there is a lot more too, but really, most of the most famous/talented Screamo bands, are Christian.
