It still amazes me how different they are and yet are voiced and appear to be the same person. It's probably not that amazing, but it still fascinates me.

I don't think Roxas is at all selfish and unjustified in wanting to find out who he is. In that scene, Axel is obviously holding back so why should he put him first if he's not being honest with him? His feelings are hurt and he is alone, he finds that he can't trust anyone in the organisation. I have a lot of respect for him because of that, he wants something and he will defy authority to go and get it and that is probably why I prefer Roxas.

It could just be because I feel I know Roxas better because I've seen him more and the story of his friendship with Axel. Ventus has a similar story in the fact that he runs away and ends up finding more out about himself but he isn't betrayed by Terra and Aqua and he wants nothing more than for them to be safe. Both have noble causes but I feel more for Roxas because he is seen more as something to be used opposed to anything else.

If he could remember feeling such sorrow as well as feeling betrayed by the organisation but couldn't really remember why then surely the logical thing to do would be to connect the two and perhaps blame the organisation for the pain he was caused (because it's technically true even if it's all through Xion). Perhaps he realises him memory is a bit of a mess and blames the organisation for it as well (in a sort of Wolverine-esque story).

I don't think he would remember exactly what happened but the feelings are all still there and they aren't going anywhere.

Woo : D it's always a great pleasure to have old returning members come back! I hope the forum is as good as you remember it and I'm sure you can fit right back in!

I feel you, it's DVD's with me though... there are just so many that I want ;-; it's so sad, as well as the fact that a million films are coming out in the next month that I am dying to see (like Amazing Spiderman 2 and X-men). Are you studying History or Art by any chance then?

Anyway, welcome back! If you have any questions at all then you can shoot me up, otherwise, go crazy and get stuck in! I look forward to seeing your posts around the forum.

It was like 10 degrees C last week and today it was 24.... : D I loved it, it reminds me of the hours I spend outside reading last summer. My house is amazingly insulated so no heat ever gets in or out so when it's too hot I can step indoors and revel in the coolness.

I am ready for the barbeques!

This is great for someone starting out : D you know, there are better and more helpful programs that you can use (GIMP is probably the best if you want something free and legal). It will allow you to, firstly, experiment more with the sizes of avatars (as they are generally supposed to be small icons, on KHV they can be up to 200x200 pixels). It will give you a great variety of tools at your disposal as well as better ways of presenting text.

Anyway, don't let any negative comments dishearten you as you are completely on the right track in developing your graphic art, the best thing to start with is a good quality render or picture, the ones you have used are quite grainy and can really bring the signature down a lot, all the effects in the world can't make a Picasso out of a bad quality stock.

Your experiments here have a lot of thought behind them and that is good, keep at that but I have to agree with Nova, the rule of thirds is very important: a link Misty posted about this rule that illustrates the point well.

Your colours are vibrant and beautiful but, on the stitch sig, the ducklings are sort of faded a bit from being so bright xD of course, that only helps make Stitch stand out more. One thing I was always taught was the importance of the focal point and making sure not to put anything major too far away from it so that it would draw your attention away. This includes text or other things, your "May love" text abides by this so very well done : D but the SOS and Sebax in opposing corners feels like a bit much, I suggest only having one and having it in the "Sebax" corner. Having said that, I do love the variation of fonts used in the "Sebax" signature, it's very unique : D

Please keep it up, this really shows your potential and I would hate to see that wasted : D

This is really good Laplace : D especially if you compare it to your first one you posted up (which wasn't bad by any means but really shows how you have improved through comparison). The lines are a lot cleaner, of course there are still a few wibbly bits like her right show and bow as well as the double line on her dress, aside from that I can pick no faults as it is really nice. Just keep practicing, you have improved immensely and it's great to see : D

I have been there, sort of. It was what I mentioned in your other thread, I was really close to one of the girls, we were really close friends and it felt like I was sort of invading her privacy almost. What I did afte I couldn't hold it any longer was I told her, I told her I was having these feelings but I removed the part about these feelings being toward her (I am sure she guessed it though) and it did really help me alot. She taught me the best way to get over it was to focus my sexual energy on something else, every time a thought of her came into my head I should stop it and think about something else.

There is no reason to beat yourself up but I understand your thought process, I really hope everything works out Tale as you are a lovely guy and I really hope that if you do open up to your friends or even just come out to them then they will accept you.

This is a bit on an insane debate to say the least, but I have to agree with ~Phoenix~'s first comment. Most of the bone is not super hard as it's exterior is (this is called cortical bone and it only makes up a thin shell of the actual bone). The interior is mostly "spongey bone" which isn't exactly sponge but it is a lot less dense than cortical bone which makes it far better designed to allow blood vessels to get through and provide Oxygen for the bone cells. Bone as a structure tends to splinter but I suppose it would be theoretically possible to sharpen but you would get a point of spongey bone and marrow (a substance being even more flexible and spongey than spongey bone):

I can imagine that if it was ever done then it would be like trying to stab someone with a rubber point that would then break after use. In reality though, I imagine even if done by someone else in a clean surgery you wouldn't survive long. It will be exposing the inside of your bones to infections and bone marrow is where red blood cells are made so there is a reason it's protected by skin, cortical bone and whatever else let alone knowing how the body will try and heal itself. It would make a weapon but it would be so pointless and absurd that even a pencil would be a better weapon.

    Anxiety

A true show of the importance writing can have on us :3 I don't think it's dorky at all, whatever makes someone feel better must be good (except murder... that's not good but that's another topic). It is exactly what I have been doing for years, I have learned to control my thinking before it snowballs into pure anxiety for the most part. The last time it happened was about 18 months ago though so it's really not that bad any more, in fact, it is something that has helped me learn how to avoid it e.g. keeps me motivated if I have to revise for an exam because the only way to keep my anxiety at bay is to study hard and make sure I am confident that I can do well in it.

Now it's just simple thoughts, like at work if I do something wrong that may cause someone else grief, I assume it has and beat myself up about it e.g. I see my boss constantly worrying about food wastage and how much money goes down the drain because of it and I accidentally cook the wrong steak that then gets thrown away, I feel I have directly cauased her so much grief when I know that every person makes mistakes and wastes foods, it's not just me but that is still how I react.

A better example is if someone compliments me and I thank them, my brain immediately tells me I am being vain and that person thinks I am vain too so I go about beating myself up to prove to myself that I am not vain. Thankfully, these everyday thoughts never really cause me to faint but they are always there.

It is true, doctor's like the labels, I liked the label as well as it defined what was wrong with me as no one had any idea.

That sounds horrible D: I am sorry you had to go through that. School seems to be a major cause for anxiety whether it's the social side or the workload.

Using the froot loops analogy because I love it, there is a difference between being surrounded by them and experiencing them, if you eat them for every meal then yes they would get boring after a while but if we only have them for breakfast (or less frequently than every day) but see them advertised everywhere then we will think about them and want them more. It would be normal to see them everywhere and we would still have great desire for them.

This sounds like a great topic to put in discussion though xD sure more people see it here but I can almost smell the debates >:3
