"Whatever do you mean my dear?" The shadow laughed coldly. "I'm right here."
The shadow saw the look Jasmine had given him and grinned evily from behind Alyce's back. He knew she had an idea of what was happening. He winked at her, making sure only she saw it. be back in 10 minutes i promise!
Twilight looked up and saw the tear, she reached forward and wiped the drop away with her thumb, caressing his face gentally. "Gharanth..." She whispered his name, wondering what had caused these raw emotions in him.
"I dunno...a few minutes? How long has it been?" He attempted to sound confused and unknowing. He didn't like questions. He never had. He silently promised that she would be the first on his list. He looked down when Jasmine awoke, just watching.
All Twilight's worries disappeared in the rythum of Gharanth's song. It was like the sound of the wind, soft but strong and always moving, always free. It was calming there next to him. A feeling of peace. She sighed, loosing herself icompletely for the moment and letting her troubles vanish behind her.
"Sorry...I guess i'm just not feeling like myself right now...maybe it's the shadow." The shadow rolled his eyes in his head.
The shadow stared at Jasmine for a moment. He could feel the fear comming off of her. It was an addictive feeling he had grown to know and love. The fear of others. He could smell it, taste it. It made his mouth water just at the thought. It took everything he had to resist the temptation to kill her and unleash it all. 'all in good time.' he thought to himself.
Twilight nodded. It was true. She wasn't confident. She'd never been confident in her life. Not once...or at least not that she could remember. She was always kicked down, Gharanth was the only one who had really picked her back up, besides the man who had taken care of her for a few years after her memory was lost, but his light had been snuffed out long ago.
The shadow let out a laugh by accident but covered it quickly with a caugh. He remembered his...visit with the girl. It angered him that she had survived though. "And...is anyone else hurt?" He tried to keep his tone somber but he wanted so much to laugh. ooc: scareing people like that is sort of a habbit of mine.
"I am not trained to make decisions like this, Gharanth. I will do what you think best." She lay her head against his shoulder. "But if you think doing so will get you hurt in any way, then I am against it."
ooc: yeah...I scare alot of people...FEAR ME! The shadow, or Jake, stormed down the hall. He could smell the fear wafting in the air and grinned crookedly. He had been watching Jake. The crooked smile was something he did often. He rounded the corner, spotting his victims standing around the girl, Jasmine was it? He chuckled to himself as he approached, making his face grave as if he was worried. "What's going on?" He asked in Jake's voice.
Twilight flushed. "No. But...I thought Xena said the elemental warrior of our world was gone."
Bella curled up her knees, still leaning against Gharanth. "What now?" She asked, confused at what road they took. "Do we go to the Elemental warriors temple or stay put?" She rested her eyes, taking his hand.
Bella hummed as she walked through the town, feeling careless and free.
Jake dreamed as he slept. He stood before the shadow in a strange white room. He seemed to have no control over his limbs and he was stuck watching as the shadow drew close, hissing in his ear. 'They are going to die.' The shadow hissed. "NO..." Jake managed. "I won't let you..." 'I'm not going to do anything.' The shadow laughed coldly. 'You are.' Jake gasped as the shadow faded straight into his own body, making his mind numb. "No..." Jake muttered weakly before he lost all sence of what was happening and the shadow took over. The shadow in Jake's body looked up around the hallway. "Time to go meet my...friends." He laughed.
Jake's eyes drooped and he sighed. "Maybe i'll sleep after all." He slid down the wall, sitting on the floor and head lolling forward in deep sleep. ooc: Sorry. I have to go. The shadow put Jake asleep. Just ignore him till I get back.
"N-no...i'll stay awake..." He shooed away the comment, leaning against the wall and watching them work. "Hey, Geryl, you alright?"
Jake just stood and watched, feeling tired allofthesudden.
Twilight laughed. "I've very touched that your tail likes me." She leaned against him, still grinning. ooc: bye then.
Twilight laughed, touching the tip of the tail with her finger. "I think it's cute." She giggles a little, looking up at him.
