The flames shielded him vanished. "Yes?"
He wrapped his arms around her. "Talk to him, little one. I'm sure he'll listen to you."
He backs away as the heat grew as hot as a furnance.
"Malik, wake up." The fire grew stronger.
"And return empty-handed?"
"I don't know how to deal with this. What do you do?"
"Why what?"
"No, he's by himself. Blossom is close by the fountain."
She nuzzles her father tiredly. "Perhaps." He responded as a dome forms around him.
"What about the mark you gave me?"
"My dark powers are with you." She reminded him. "Bite me."
"No, his signature is blue flames and these are not." "Feeling better papa?"
"Quite picky, isn't she? Does Malik know about this?" He found a boy surrounded by a ring of fire while he's sleeping peacefully. "Something is not right." He muttered.
"Lemme go! I have to see my son!" "He's near by a volcano. I won't allow you getting hurt. Let me do this to prove myself." She calms down and nods.
A song lulls him off to sleep. She snapped her head. "No, my baby!" She cries out as she reaches to her son. He keeps a restrain hug. "What's wrong, my dear?"
He watches the lava rising slowly as something ignites within him.
He heads over to his quiet place, the volcano.
Hurt falls across his face. "Blossom..."
"Probably a powerful priest." He follows her.
"No, I'm too busy spending my time with my wife. Besides, light is my enemy."
