As Aislinn stopped to nurse her side for a moment or two she could hear Aux calling out for her as they fought, offering her an extra little boost to her attack. There was a genuine smile on her face, despite the pain and everything that she was going through. From when they began in the pride lands to this point she had really noticed Aux grow. He also went from wanting nothing to do with her, to fighting alongside her, and now to fighting with her, actually them helping each other out. It was something she hadn't thought that she would get to see coming into this battle. By the time they had finished the pride lands, Aislinn had assumed that Aux legitimately just didn't like her at all and nothing could make that change. Now through the heat of battle and a common enemy that wasn't considered meddling in the affairs of other worlds, they had grown to become allies.

Running towards Aux she let him boost her up, using her own strength to push herself up off his hands and towards the darkside. Between the two of their strengths combines, she managed to get more air than she originally expected as she let the momentum carry her towards the large creature, preparing herself to make one, devastating attack on the creature as to do as much damage as they could in that singular attack. As she neared the darksides head, Aislinn tried her best to turn in such a way to do as much damage as possible as her strikes slashed across it's face in a cross pattern as it reeled back in pain for a moment. After the slash however came the inevitable plummet back down the the ground.

While she had fallen from that height once just before, as she landed this time, Aislinn didn't expect the jarring pain that shot up her side as her feet hit the ground, causing her to collapse forward for a moment. She grunted as she grabbed at her wound for a moment trying to regain her ability to move properly. A quick glance over at Aux and she knew that this was not the time to be weak. Although injured and prone, she barely managed to move out of the way of the next attack before forcing herself back to her feet, looking over at Aux, sucking in heavy breaths as she gave him the thumbs up. "Your turn." She told him as she took a step back.

Looking around she also noticed quite a few others talking, and Aislinn figured since things were going well she would try and keep her mind off the pain by talking herself a bit, hoping that Aux would respond well. "So Aux... Tell me." She started as she stopped and gripped her side again before deciding to try and shake it off taking a defensive stance against the Darkside so he wouldn't catch her off guard. "What brought you to the Mark of Mastery exam? You weren't with the group when we first entered, and we did it in part to help get us out of our situation, so what brought you to it? This Mark of Mastery seemed far from the traditional methods, I was surprised to see anyone else there with us." She tried to offer an explanation for her inquiry. At the time she noticed that he joined she really didn't think anything of it, but after trying to befriend him a bit and seeing his connection with Hikaru and Kaida, Aislinn couldn't help but be a little curious about the story.

The creature might have stood up, but the safety didn't last long as it turned and slammed it's fist into the ground, the energy from the force causing Aislinn to nearly loose balance as a pool of darkness formed around it's fist. Everything told her that she shouldn't go near that darkness, warned her against walking into a situation where the darkness could swallow her again, however her other option was to continue hitting at the ankles of the creature and hope that her minuscule amount of damage that she was dealing would eventually add up to be worth something. That wouldn't only be gambling with her life, prolong the fight to see how it turns out, but also the lives of those who were fighting the other heartless, trusting her and Aux to keep the giant monstrosities off of them while they cleared the waves of smaller heartless who could undoubtedly do great damage themselves if they grouped up. Even one of those Neoshadows could be a hazard if the weeping wound on her side was anything to go by. Sure she had been caught off guard by the thing, and was doing it to protect another, but it didn't mean that they should be taken lightly. Out of all the creatures that they had fought, only taking one decent swipe seemed like she was doing pretty well, but looking around and seeing all the others who were in better shape than she was, perhaps it wasn't quite the accomplishment she had thought it should be.

Still paranoid about the darkness that swirled, Aislinn cloaked herself in a magical essence that acted as a barrier, it was one of few abilities that she could use that seemed to have a sort of magic to it. She then launched herself at the outstretched hand that was creating this pool of darkness that the heartless seemed drawn to. Aislinn couldn't afford to worry about the little guys as she rushed into the arm. When she landed from the attack, Aislinn was surprised to find the ground beneath her feet was actually solid and wasn't sucking her into the realm of darkness, like the last encounter she had with something like this. Sighing a breath of relief she made the most of the time that it's hand was in reachable range for her to hit.

Just as the Darkside tried to pull his hand away, Aislinn used momentum from one of her strikes in order to jump up and land on it's hand. Careful to keep her balance she started to sprint up the arm while it was still horizontal enough to do so, before jumping off the arm at the face of the Darkside, raking her keyblade down it, on her way down. The keyblade stuck into the body of the creature, helped slow Aislinn's fall enough that it was not dangerous to her when descending. That being said she had not thought of how it would feel holding onto a keyblade above her head as it slowly dragged down towards the ground, pulling at her side. As well with the slower falling it was not enough damage from stopping the darkside from attacking her. Swiping a hand towards its chest, Aislinn was forced to let go of her keyblade, kicking off the body of the heartless to get out of the way of the attack. By that point she was low enough to the ground, landing wasn't a problem, but when she did land she had to summon her keyblade back to her. She was thankful for that ability with the keyblade or else she would have lost her weapon to the body of the massive creature barring down on her.

She had thought that it was over, that they were done with this fight, having just fought off over a thousand heartless, but this was not the end. Their test as masters was just beginning once more. Aislinn had the sinking feeling that their Mark of Mastery exam was going to look like a cake walk, compared to what was coming for them in this battle as large shadowy creatures rose out of the ground and loomed around them, as smaller heartless filled the space between them, much like the heartless they just fought. Aside from the Darksides that loomed over them, at least this battle would be similar enough to the previous one, fighting similar enemies meant that they could take what they learned from the first battle and put it to use here as well. The amount of those annoying flying demons had increased however and Aislinn knew this time she wouldn't be able to dart around taking most of them out herself, she would have to leave some of that work to others, especially considering that she knew that she would have to deal with the even larger guys first. This time The Invisibles were not her top priority, still high on the list, but by far not her top priority, not when larger more dangerous things loomed ahead of them, when she dealt with the two bigger enemies, then she could put focus on the little guys.

Aux seemed to be on the same page at least as he was the first to offer for them to take on the bigger game. "It would be my pleasure. Lets show him exactly what we are made of. By the way, I will get the killing blow." Aislinn challenged Aux in a more friendly manner. She found that a challenge never hurt, especially when they were tired and likely to get discouraged through the course of this battle. Though her side still burned, Ailsinn released it when she realized she had been holding it through the time that the two men spoke before summoning more heartless. Her thoughts of getting it healed were put on hold for the time being as there was more things to hit, and creatures to destroy. "Try and keep up." She warned Aux before stopping her running with him to hold back for a moment before preparing a Zantetsuken that launched her right past him to the first Darkside.

Her feet had hardly hit the ground before Aislinn found herself preparing another attack, jumping over the heartless's hand as it knelt down, sweeping it's hand over the ground before bringing them up to his chest. Next thing she knew balls of dark energy were shooting from the heart shaped hole in the creatures chest, and were coming towards her. Quickly circling around back of the thing, Aislinn found an opening that she could use to attack the creature several more times. Before she could finish her combo however, once more Aislinn had to move out the the way of the dark balls of energy that the thing was shooting. From what she could tell, the key to this battle would be to keep herself moving, something that should be natural to her, but she was finding a little more difficult due to the injury that she had sustained earlier in the fight. Thankfully the dark energy didn't last forever before he stood up again, giving Aislinn one last time to jump and try to do a significant amount of damage on it, before she was left to nothing but it's ankles to hit, which didn't seem to be working too well so far.

True to his word, Kyo took Thea to the cat and kitten. She happily went about playing with them, almost avoiding dinner until she was forced to sit down and eat, what Thea described as peasant food. She might have lived at Divine Rose for quite some time now, but there were still certain dishes that she wasn't fond of and didn't believe that they were proper food suited to her tastes. That being said when her options were only that meal or nothing, she generally caved and ate the meal anyways, although slightly grumpily.

Come evening while they should have been watching out for the flute player, it had been a long day and Thea was tired. It wasn't long after curfew before she started to drift off to sleep, falling into a deep sleep until such time as the alarm bells went off and she was jolted out of bed. Tired and a bit upset, Thea walked out to the street to see what was going on. She was in her clothes from that day, as she had fallen asleep before she could be bothered to change. Hearing the flute sound though, Thea worried about the boys she met earlier that day. When Gavin and Zephyr came out she turned to them.
"We have to check on my new friends! Make sure they are alright!" With that Thea ran into the streets and went in the direction she seemed to remember the Town Hall being.

Renza fixed the problem on where to go thankfully. Leaning down Everette put a hand on the child's head. "Thank you Renza, that is really helpful and means a lot." He ruffled her hair a little bit as he gave her a warm smile. "Lead the way. The quicker we figure this out, the sooner that house can be filled with laughter again, and you can tell everyone about how much of a big help you were to Divine Rose!" Everette encouraged the small child hoping to make the situation a little better for her. Nothing about this was good but he didn't want her to feel totally down about it either. Standing up he put a hand on Samuel's shoulder reassuringly. "Do what you need to do. We will help where we can. Just take your time."

As she reached for the door a sudden large blast shook Kiara to the core. She barely registered the explosion or the fact she was flying back, all that she could see was a bright white light as her ears rang. While the fire itself seemed to be absorbed into her, the sheer force of the explosion and the bits of wood, metal and other scraps that went flying when she was damaged could do far more damage than she had healed from the fire. Landing on the ground, her whip was jarred from her hand and the idea of getting back up just seemed difficult as her vision was blurry but started to return from the white it had been when the blast had gone off. Through the ringing she could hear another voice, but someone else could deal with that, Kiara couldn't deal with anyone yet.

    Welcome to KHV's Role-Playing Arena!

    What is a Role-Play?

A Role-Play (RP) is a creative experience of acting out a story creative setting, where a story is made up and acted out in text form, similar to a "Create Your Own Adventure" book. LARPing (Live Action Role-Playing) and tabletop RPGs (like Dungeons & Dragons) are other related forms of the hobby. The Original Poster (OP) serves as a Game Master and leads the participants on an adventure through collaboration, either in an original story, one based on an existing franchise, a mixture of the two, or even a crossover. The characters portrayed range from canon characters to completely Original Characters (OC). Together, all participants act out the story in a group setting.

    General Rules

    • All of KHV's forum rules apply in the RPA.
    • Breaking the rules in the RPA will result in various consequences such as a simple talking-to from a moderator, a verbal warning, an infraction, a temporary or permanent ban from the RPA, and ultimately a temporary or permanent ban from the entire site.
    • RPs that have gone 30 days without a post will be locked for inactivity. With good reason, you can request more time if you need it
    • Don’t bump your thread just to get it noticed. Double posting is allowed to provide updates and announcements in your OOC threads though.
    • KHV's RPA is an open forum and excluding applications from certain members without a reason approved by staff is not allowed.
    • If you have a problem with another member such as frequent rule-breaking, you are allowed to kick them out of your RP after they've been warned about their behavior and talking to a staff member beforehand.
    • Flaming, bashing, insulting, and overall rude behavior is not tolerated anywhere on KHV, including here in the RPA. If there is a problem--or if you feel that you are the victim of negative behavior--contact one of the staff members.
    • Joining someone's RP means that you agree to abide by their rules for their thread. Frequent rule-breaking can result in getting kicked out of the thread by the creator and/or a moderator. If you are found to be breaking rules of various RPs often, you can ultimately be temporarily banned from the RPA. If someone is breaking your rules, you can contact a moderator to help enforce them.
    • You can recruit however you'd like as long as it's fair. You can ask for "preview posts," sample OC forms, some form of questionnaire, etc.
    • There is a minimum of 20 words per post in the RPA except in special cases (such as a turn-based RP where only a command is needed). Think creatively!
    • While being creative and creating character banners is encouraged please make sure your banners are not too big. Top banners should not exceed the 600x400px and side banners should not exceed 300x500px.

    • Be aware of mature content. KHV is a PG-13 site. If you go into anything passed that please put it in a spoiler tag with a warning. If it goes too far, Moderators have the right to delete or edit the post.
    • Polls are only allowed in the OOC Lounge and the Role-Play Discussion sections. Polls in actual RP threads will be removed with a verbal warning.
    • It's perfectly normal to get inspired by many things such as the thoughts, designs, and writing of others. If you are inspired by someone else's RP, please give credit to that person in the opening post of your RP ("Inspired by ____"). If your RP borrows a noticeable amount from someone else, it is recommended that you talk to them and ask them for permission before posting your own RP. Just remember: inspiration and blatant copying are two completely different things and copying someone is not tolerated. If you think someone has copied your RP, contact a moderator.
    • All 1x1 RPs must use the "1x1" prefix, regardless of any other category it falls under. Unless it is an OOC thread, then use the OOC prefix but make it clear it is a 1x1
    • The 1x1 RP may be planned out between two members beforehand. If a second member is being recruited instead, the applicants must be treated fairly, but the choice is ultimately up to the OP. If you don’t think the applications were treated fairly you can contact a moderator

    ~Special Policies~

    Retries

A retry is considered reposting the same story with little changed, unlocking a locked thread, or reposting someone else's RP with their permission. If you would like a retry, you can contact a moderator.

    Franchises and 1x1s

A franchised RP is an RP with more than one story thread involved. These share the same universe and are usually created by the same person to explore another aspect of the universe that doesn't fit within the main thread.

You can also make a 1x1 RP based on an open RP if you'd like to expand its story. If you do this and the 1x1 ends, it's recommended that you request it to be locked to avoid getting it moved to the Retirement Home.

You cannot make any franchise thread for someone else's RP without their permission.

    Role-Playing Events

If you would like to have some kind of community event in the RPA, you can contact a moderator for help setting it up or for permission to post it or even for help ironing out the details. We are always looking for ideas!

    Where to Post and Prefixes

The RPA has a handful of subsections and several prefixes to use for your threads. Make sure to post threads in the correct sections with the appropriate prefix, if a prefix is applicable.

OOC Lounge - Out of Character threads used for discussion, sign-ups, rules, more information, or anything else outside of the in-character thread. "OOC" is used for discussion threads and "Interest" for threads simply seeing who's interested or the discussion of an idea for an RP.

Role-Play Discussion - This area is to talk about Role-Playing as a subject or new ideas for our RPA. You can post threads about topics such as character creation, setting development, styles of RPing, etc. There are no prefixes in this subsection.

Hall of Fame - RPs that have been completed will be moved to this section after passing a review. Those involved in these RPs will receive special commemorations! The requirements for this area can be found within the section. Only staff can post in this section.

Retirement Home - RPs that have been locked will be moved here, along with their respective OOC threads. Only staff can post in this section.

Role-Playing Arena - the main lobby of the RPA is for all non-original RPs (those based on any existing media). The prefixes here are "1x1" (strictly between two people), "Kingdom Hearts" (based on the Kingdom Hearts franchise), "Video Game" (based on any video game), "General" (doesn't fit any of the other categories), "Anime/Manga" (based on any anime or manga), "Movies/Media" (based on a film, television series, webseries, etc.), "Crossover" (mixing two or more properties together), and “Original” (used when the story is unique and based in your own universe and your own concept)

    Who to Contact?

If you need help with anything, feel free to contact a staff member, specifically @Aelin FireHeart or @Arch . Any other staff member will gladly be able to help you.

    Thank you for reading!

    Happy Role-Playing~

More talk of her father. While Auburn loved and admired her father, she felt like there was a bar being set that she could never meet. She was not her father, she would never be her father, and she highly doubted that she would ever have the strength to be as good or famous as her father was. Still she wouldn't speak of that to anyone here, instead keeping her mouth shut and speaking highly of her father instead. "Yeah... He is pretty great, there are not many up and coming huntsman who haven't heard of him it seems, and I guess that he has been talking to Qrow as well...." Auburn trailed off with her thoughts wondering all of what he had said to Qrow and if they were in recent contact or if it was all from the warnings before he left her at the academy.

Blaine then turned and asked about her family before. Thanks to having such a good father to raise her, Auburn didn't find it too bad to speak about it. She was aware that she was adopted, and her father had gone to great lengths to make sure it was something she had learned to accept and deal with. That being said that didn't mean she liked talking anymore, it was something that her father struggled with getting her to do. That being said because of his profession, he felt like it was better to train her at home and not send her to a battle school, so she had never been forced into a whole lot of social interactions before this, generally just having to deal with one or two people that would stop by her house, most of them being huntsmen and huntresses that came to visit with or check on her father.

"I have never really been without family per say.... What happened was that, my parents and I lived on the outskirts of a smaller town, they didn't like the business of the city you see and well. Grimm managed to breach the perimeter of the town, our house was one of the first to be attacked. My parents died protecting me, but before the grimm could hurt me too much my father came to my aid. He killed the grimm that I was trying to stand off against. Apparently I had grabbed a kitchen knife and was standing over my moms body trying to defend it. He said he saw something in me that day, something that was missing in his life, so he took me in and raised me as his own. I don't actually remember much about that entire thing... just what he told me, but yeah... he has been like a father to me ever since so I can't really say I have been without one." Auburn explained, her voice meek as she backed up a little bit biting at her lower lip nervously. She still didn't make eye contact with Blaine, she didn't really want to know what he was thinking after that, she had just done her best to explain and to Auburn it sounded like she was looking for pity when that was not the case, it made her rather uncomfortable.

They were all dealt with and now it was seemingly safe. Edna came out to see them commenting on how terrible things were before once again turning her attention to turning them into super heroes. Tinarah shook her head a bit a little annoyed that this thing kept going on when they weren't heroes, but she didn't feel like arguing at that time. Placing a hand to her head Tinarah took a step back and settled down a little bit, finding a seat on the floor to take a break. She should have been okay, she should have gotten back up to help, but her body refused. Guilt built in her soul as she thought about how weak she was, how she was holding her friends back. It would have been better if she had stayed behind at the castle, letting her body recover and gain some weight until she was fully healthy again, but the thought of sitting around while her friends fought for all of them, she just couldn't do it. She couldn't let Aria be used and fall to the hands of others. She couldn't sit around and wait for the news that her friends had been killed fighting a battle she should have been a part of. That was why she was here, even if her body was ready to give out at this point, aching for rest.

Thallasa seemed to also want to take a break, but there was a part of Tinarah's mind that didn't think they should.
"They are still out there.... those people, they have attacked civilians and now have taken a hero of this town, can we really afford to rest?" Tinarah used her keyblade to push herself to her feet, she was a little shaky still. "Shouldn't we be stopping them?" If it was Uncle Fost here with them, she knew that he would be rushing out that broken window after them, helping the people, not just sitting here talking about resting and sleeping. Tinarah had seen her world fall apart in moments, she had seen things been destroyed in minutes, to take a break and sleep through the night, there was a paranoia that things would go terribly wrong and that she would fail to help people again. Tinarah was still terrified to lose the people around her, especially after she had seen many of their fates in that alternate universe that she was in.

One hot chocolate, no whip, with chocolate shavings, in a mug for here! Orders up! So you have been around the area lately? We would love to have some more regular customers. I don't have too many flavours yet, just the basics like vanilla, hazelnut, things like that I will look into orange for you though, perhaps it will be in by your next visit. Or if you want to bring in some of your irregular ingredients I will try to do them justice.

Just as Aislinn thought about how never ending this battle seemed, words that were written on a tapestry in her home town came to her mind. The tapestry was old and depicted a young man standing there beside a red headed girl. The man looked at the girl with pity in his eyes as his body seemed to fade back into the shape of a planet that was in the background. Below it was written a quote. "Never ending you say? My dear Sapphire, everything must come to an end. I will one day come to an end, as will you. Nothing is never ending." The following panel showed the red head rising up, but the man was gone, there was a glow to her as she stood tall. From there there was a scene with the woman holding a small child and beside it was written. "Nothing is never ending, though I wish this moment wouldn't end. I miss you dearly R, I will raise him in a way that would be right by you." This entire tapestry was posted in an old forgotten temple that Aislinn had found on the outskirts of her town, shortly after her parents had passed away. Poking around the temple she found there was another door that lead to a cave. The cave itself seemed to have a life to it that left Aislinn feeling rather uncomfortable. After that first day, she did not return to the cave, but had, more than once returned to look at the tapestry, taking her younger sister to see it as well. When she had told her mentor about it however he had warned her that some things were better left forgotten. That was one lesson that never really stuck when it came to Aislinn.

Words tucked away in her heart, Aislinn let them drive her, let her see the end of the battle, though it was still in the distance. She would finish this off when the time came and she would make sure that everyone, including herself got out of this safe. The crazy man wasn't going to stop anyone in their dreams of becoming masters. The pain in her side dulled as her mind drifted to greater things, hope filling it once more. With her hand poised on the back of her keyblade, Aislinn aimed a strike right at one of the Neoshadows, letting the extra strength from her left arm drive the keyblade forward and through the creature, before she spun knocking a dark ball back slightly. Four more Neoshadows rose up around her, and Aislinn found herself neither grimacing or grinning, like she was just content fighting, she was not enjoying it, nor was she hating it, it was simply something that needed done, that she was determined to do to the best of her abilities. What she needed to do was kill these damn things and protect those around her, something that she would have liked to believe that she was doing an okay job at so far. With one more attack Aislinn drove her keyblade through a second Neoshadow, not stopping for a moment before spinning around slashing at the third in a cross like motion. From there she looked towards the fourth, determination in her eyes as she pushed herself onward making sure to kill that one too before it advanced any further. Turning back however in the gap she left between her and Aux yet another heartless popped up. "Oh no you don't." Aislinn mumbled her herself as she ran at it, finally finding the energy she needed to wrap herself in a protective cloak and slam into the heartless, once again doing her part to protect Aux.

Was it weak to ask for help? Aislinn wanted to believe that asking for help instead of letting your pride get the better of you was a good thing, however even as she tried to convince herself of this she was still finding it hard to do such things. Everyone else was wrapped up in their own little worlds, talking and fighting along side their own friends, and as for Aux, Aislinn didn't even know if he knew a cure spell. From observing him she had the feeling her could very well be like her and not have the capability to perform such feats of magic while maintaining his current strength and skill set. What that meant for her though was that she wasn't going to get off easy any time soon. At the very least the blood was at least beginning to clot, even if she kept tearing open parts of the gash with every second attack. When it came to high stakes battles like this it was near impossible to avoid such things from happening. The only way to prevent the wound from getting worse was to heal it, or sit back and take it easy for at least a little while, neither of which was an option at this point in time given what was going on with the heartless that were still swarming around. What kept Aislinn going the most was the knowledge that it was almost over. As soon as they got rid of the last few heartless she could go to Luna or Ananta or someone and ask them to heal her wound when it was safe to do so. For now it was best to save the magical energy for the fight at hand since she knew that it was a little more important.

Speaking of the fight at hand, though the numbers were dwindling greatly, they weren't totally depleted as Heartless still rose up around them, threatening them. Letting out a bit of a sigh, Aislinn lifted her keyblade, and in a little slower movement than before started her attacks. She felt like she couldn't risk another Zantetsuken at this time, and she didn't want to use it and move too much further away from Aux. Her attacks felt rather limited then given the current state of everything and the fact that she couldn't summon the energy to create another barrier around her just yet. It wasn't that her normal attacks weren't good, in fact she liked to believe that they were quite powerful most of the time. That being said they never quite had the same effect as when she used some of her full force moves on the heartless. Those took out the creatures in no time flat. That being said she supposed with the current numbers, that she could afford the extra time in order to give her body the rest that is was currently asking for.

Once again a heartless tried it's luck, sneaking up on Aux from the side. Aislinn not wanting to let that happen, made her move to stop him from doing too much damage to Aux, this time being more cautious of what was come up on her own side, this time kicking out to catch the Darkball that had tried to lunge at her. The tactic worked well enough as it cleared room for her to take out the Neoshadow that was moving to attack Aux, before she turned to deal with the other issues. This heartless was not the only one that wanted a piece of the overly angsty teenager it seemed, as four others were around the same area. Not going all out but not going easy on them either, Aislinn moved her way through the heartless using basic attacks to take out one after the other until they were all gone, just in time for more to pop up. This was going to be never ending wasn't it?

Oh really? That's terrible. The weather has finally been looking up where I am from. It makes me wish that I could go home and enjoy the sun before the rain decides to return, you know? But spending most of my time here, I guess you got to get used to the weather, almost makes me glad to be working. *leans on the counter sipping her latte.* Speaking of work I should be doing that shouldn't I?

It was down to the point that she could count the amount of Neoshadows that were left. It felt good to be able to see the end of this battle in sight. They were almost there and she only lost her cool once, while that in some ways was an accomplishment, it wasn't entirely given that she was a master now. She should be able to handle things a lot better than she had been, though stress was baring down on her. The thing with being a master was that she should be an example to those who would come after her, and as it stood so far she was unable to do that due to her own temper when it came to long drawn out battles. Still she supposed that it could have turned out to be a lot worse, she didn't loose her temper that bad compared to what she could have done after all. She managed to keep it directed where in needed to go, and that was at the heartless.

With those thoughts in mind Aislinn decided it was time to continue slowly decreasing the numbers of the heartless wanting to deal with them as soon as possible. The Neoshadows were low enough that she thought it would be best for her to try and finish off the rest of them before turning her attention entirely to the other heartless around, most likely the Darkballs that were floating around them being just as annoying as the Neoshadows. The only difference was that the Neoshadows seemed harder to kill so that was where Aislinn set her sights until they had all been dealt with. One thing at a time would make her fight a hell of a lot easier to deal with, and easier on the brain.

Moving into a better position, Aislinn did her best to continue ignoring the pain in her side in favour of the battle ahead. As soon as they finished with this then she could deal with the aching pain in her side, but until that point she was sure that she could focus enough to get rid of these things. Part of her considered dropping her little Soldier form in favour of getting access to her magic once more, but the other part of her warned that it was not the time to deal with it at the moment. She could do this without being at full health.

Pulling out her keyblade Aislinn finally got into the battle spirit once again, starting her attacks, using a barrier surge to keep herself from getting any more injured as she fought. At first the hit didn't do too much damage but as Aislinn didn't stop there, taking her time delivering three more hits to the first Neoshadow before moving onto the next one, and then the one after that. After the first one fell in the end, Aislinn had to fight two at once, since one of her attacks didn't do what she thought it would. It was slightly annoying but either way she was trained enough to handle it. The two fell to her blade before she found herself throwing another shadow at the Neoshadows. The Neoshadow lived up to its reputation and ripped the poor shadow apart before she could do anything to stop kill the Neoshadow. That being said it wasn't hard to deal with the one that was cruel. She did it in a few strikes before finally turning to the last one in her area and lashing out at it, with a quick strike that was aimed for the head.

Glyde was looking bad and Aria was calling for help but there was none that Tinarah could offer. Tinarah shifted uncomfortably knowing that the only thing that she could do to help was deal with the enemies that were attacking. More of them she could deal with the less of a threat that they would be. With that in mind, Tinarah set out to fight the helping hats that surrounded them. She grit her teeth in annoyance as she let loose a string of attacks on the enemies around them, trying to make short work of them is she could. Between her health and the injuries she was taking, at this pace she wouldn't be too far behind Glyde if they didn't deal with this guys quickly.

While she might have been taking out a lot of enemies, the heartless didn't seem to fond of Aux either. While they were fighting nearly back to back, so Heartless couldn't get the jump on them, their sides were still left exposed when their focus was too narrowed in and those heartless that were in front of them to notice them other ones around. This seemed to be what was happening to Aux as Aislinn spotted a Neoshadow rising up out of the corner of her eye, right next to Aux. Silently cursing in the back of her mind, Aislinn spun ducking out of the way of an attack aimed for her left side. She narrowly got grazed by the attack, and Aux might have been able to hear the sound of her sucking in breath between clenched teeth, but she didn't stop moving. Unfortunately for Aislinn her current form blocked all forms of magic that she might have been able to use to heal herself, instead she was forced to grit her teeth at the pain and push forward, dealing with the heartless that thought it was a good idea to threaten her comrade, something that she would soon teach him was a big mistake.

With the slash out, Aislinn cut for the Neoshadow, but it moved out of the way before she had hit it. It was a feet of strength and will to stop her momentum enough that she didn't take out Aux with her own keyblade. The heartless then appeared again behind Aislinn, perhaps they weren't so mindless after all. Either way it was going to be dead soon enough if she had her way. The next attack was parried by the creature, however after that it's luck started to run short as she managed to land hit after hit, no sooner did it die did the one that drew blood before reappear. Aislinn dodged out of the way but it seemed rather satisfied with what it tasted in her blood, wanting more. There was no way that she would allow that to happen as she picked up the pace of her attacks, parrying a few of the heartless's own attacks before landing one right in the chest. For a moment she could feel her side burn and reached over to grab at it for a moment. When she did a Shadow jumped for her that Aislinn managed to bat away rather quickly. But the Neoshadows circled like sharks, three more closing in on her.

Letting go of her side, Aislinn took her keyblade in both of her hands to ready herself to fight once more. Sure her side hurt but it was nothing compared to what she had been through in the past. There was no way she was letting these bugs get the better of her. Grimacing she clenched her teeth and pushed her way though it as she started to unleash another set of attacks on the Neoshadows that sat ahead of her ready to pounce. Making purchase on the first one, she had to roll out of the way of the second, only causing the wound to hurt more. Her return to her feet was slightly less graceful than normal, but she still managed as she went for retribution on the one that tried to catch her from behind. That only left one more that was an immediate threat to her. She could do that, deal with it no problem. Launching herself forward she quickly dealt a six attack combo to the heartless and dealt with it as well, just in time to stumble back a few steps holding her side again. She could not afford another mistake.

Well with that little burst of anger out of her system, Aislinn could focus more on what was important, and that was this fight and defending those around her. She had made quite a gap between her and the person that she agreed to watch his back. Taking a few deep breaths, Aislinn just walked towards Aux again. With fading amount of Heartless she managed to walk between the enemies pretty easily, kicking one shadow to it's death along the way as she went, not that she cared at this point. Her lungs were burning now, perhaps she had gone a little over the edge with her rage and attacks, but in the end Aislinn couldn't bring herself to care all that much. In the end it got the job done, and fast. It might have left her tired from over using some abilities and pushing herself to the limit just to make a point, but in the end it was worth it.

Taking a moment, Aislinn watched Aux fight, his strength and determination behind it. It was admirable to say the least, and that is why despite her little break down she would need to keep up and defend him. They had a deal after all, he watched her back and she watched his. So far she hadn't had to worry about what might be coming up behind her so she needed to make sure that Aux felt equally as safe with her watching his back. Given her little break down that might not be as easy as it seemed. He might not trust her after all that, but she hoped that he still had some respect for her despite the evils of the woodland creatures that played baseball.

Organizing and straightening herself out, Aislinn closed her eyes for a moment, letting the music that she created in her own mind calm her. Music, always her center. She started to hum even as she found her center and got ready for the attacks. The time she wasted calming her mind gave more of the Neoshadows time to close in. It seemed that she was quickly becoming public enemy number one with them, but that was likely because she had taken out so many of them to start with. It was okay, she was getting good at taking out the little creatures and they stopped really getting on her nerves, as much as being almost routine to deal with them. The same attacks and tactics every time, Heartless were nothing more than mindless puppets, easy enough to deal with.

Waiting for numerous to jump at her Aislinn rolled out of the way at the last moment, causing three to crash into each other and be dazed for a moment. It was more than enough time for her to rush forward barrier surrounding her as she bashed into all three of them at once. From there it only took a few more swings to deal with the rest of them. From there the other two near by were easy enough to deal with. The first taking a cross slash to the face, the second however got nothing nearly as fancy. Not able to keep up with all the fancy maneuvering, Aislinn switched over to a more basic method of fighting them, focusing only on her strikes, delivering one after another, instead of adding any over the top tactics. With only one near by her, it was all that was needed in order to effectively deal with the damn thing. Just as she thought soon it was nothing more than dust on the wind, much like it's other companions. "I still got your back." Aislinn assured Aux now that her sanity had returned.

"You are getting good at those aren't you? A fair warning to you. As good as new keyblades may seem, never pit yourself against a small child, or an owl, or a tiger, or even a bunny. I swear they are all devils and demons in the skin of something innocent. And with your luck with those pitches you are never going to beat them, or at least not before you knock a screw loose." Aislinn warned with a sense of seriousness that shouldn't normally be there. The topic seemed like a joke, but she was deadpan serious when she spoke of these creatures of the abyss that had come up to join in a children's baseball game. Whoever thought it was a good idea to let that happen, well she just hoped that his heart was filled with darkness and now he was just one of the many Heartless that she had or would defeat that day.

As she continued fighting she started picturing Christopher Robins head on the heartless, or at least one in the distance. Between him and her stood, Owl, Rabbit, Tigger, Kanga, and a small shadow which she put Roo's face on. They would all die for the sins of those infernal baseball playing creatures. They were all going to die in no time with that motivation in front of her. There wasn't even a pause long enough to wait for the heartless to attack before Aislinn was on the first two. The smiling faces of Kanga and Roo stared back at her as she through her all behind the attacks grabbing the shadow and bouncing it like a basket ball before sending it bouncing at the larger heartless. "How do you like that?" Aislinn called at it before leaping up and bringing her keyblade down on the Neoshadows head.

As the smoke cleared from the first two heartless her eyes settled on the face of a rabbit. Taking a few slow steps forward, Aislinn launched herself at full force with a Zantetsuken attack after it had seemed to be comfortable with the speed she was moving, ready to attack her at that speed. A grin spread across her face as she looked passed where the heartless previously was at where the next one stood, this one looking like an owl. "Try and keep an eye on me now." She grinned as she started moving side to side, far faster than she should have been capable of doing. As she closed the distance, it seemed that she would end up on the left side of it, but as the Heartless went to swipe left she found herself centered on the spot she had started as she slashed through yet another Neoshadow. It had not stood a chance against her, neither would the striped bouncing pest. Oh how Aislinn wished she could go invisible. "Hey Aux, this is how it is done!" She called over to her battle companion as she rushed towards the heartless but suddenly launched herself in the air, confusing the Neoshadow slightly as she landed on the other side, striking in it's back sending him flying towards Aux, but dissipating into smoke before ever reaching him.

This just left one more Heartless, the final boss in this little escapade. She was going to make this one hurt. Taking the first couple steps forward slowly, she then launched herself into the air, using Zantetsuken to speed herself up as she came down behind the heartless, lashing a couple times before she moved back and forth, side to side, puncturing him in several different spots to the point that most would say it was overkill, and it was, but the little demon child deserved nothing less. "I think it's dead." She said towards Aux as she stood, watching the black smoke swirl at her feet.
