The time to chat with Aux was nice, but short lived, she would need to talk and fight if she wanted to keep this up. Sure the number of heartless that surrounded them were constantly thinning, but that didn't mean they were gone yet. Looking over the island Aislinn took in the sight of many people battling many more heartless. The shadows were attacking in swarms. The Neoshadows were teaming up and surrounding people, while the Darkballs were simply throwing themselves at them, with no real concern for what they were doing. The entire area was a mess and made Aislinn glad that she decided to deal with the Invisibles first. If those things were darting around as they were dealing with this mess of creatures it could have been deadly for one or more members of this group. The thought of one of these kids dying to this did not sit well with Aislinn, they had already had friends taken from them through the Mark of Mastery, when they failed to show their skill. But now as masters it would only hurt that much more for one of them to go down soon after being named a master. While Aislinn did not know about the others, becoming a master was a dream come true to her. It was everything she wanted, it was the power she needed. From Kaida's reaction, she could tell it was also a major deal for her as well. Just the energy in the air after they were proclaimed masters, it hurt Aislinn to see all that energy stripped away by a crazed man with the need to get approval from probably an equally as crazy lady that had recently fired him. Perhaps the man was just narcissistic, but it bothered Aislinn. At this point there was no saving that man from himself, he had condemned himself to the darkness and likely the loss of his life. If not to their hands, to the hands of the heartless, that would feed off that darkness taking it over. For now he thought he could control them, but how long would that last?

Twisting her keyblade in her hand, adding some fancy movements just for the hell of it, as she moved into position to deal with more of the annoying Neoshadows. That being said the Shadows were still the most brave and most stupid as one jumped up at her. Aislinn grabbed this one with her bare hands. It was kind of cute now that she looked at it, but it was still going to try and kill her if she didn't do something about this and fast. Tossing it up in the air, she hit it like a baseball. "I would call that a home run." She called over her shoulder at Aux with a bit of a challenging grin on her face as her attention turned back towards the bigger guys, that didn't seem too impressed with her joke as two jumped at her at once. Unable to deal with both at the same time, Aislinn dodged out of the way, rolling on the ground and back onto her feet, just to the left of one of the heartless that just tried to attack her. Not expecting her to move so fast it left itself open for an attack, it was a deadly mistake. That was the first step she needed to get into a rhythm of killing the heartless around her. One after another they fell to her blade as Aislinn constantly rolled out of the way of their attacks, hitting them once, rolling again until the area immediately around her was clear of all heartless. There was still some not five feet away, but at least the ones baring down on her were dealt with.

The rest of the team jumped in making pretty short work of the remaining Nequabots, and Kiara took a step back as she placed her hands on her knees and took a moment to just breath. "Good work guys. Now we just need to get into that lab. There is a certain woman that I have a score to settle with." She was still tired from the energy that she had put into her limit, but there was no stopping now. She could only go forward and finish things off. Kiara forced a small grin to her lips and picked herself up, masking her exhaust with her over confident swagger that she tended to carry when she wanted to prove herself. In a few long strides Kiara approached the door, trying to open it, her whip in her free hand just in case something waited for them on the other side of the door.

It was good to see that Aux still had a sense of humour through all of this, especially since she wasn't too sure that he had one to start with, when she first began working with him in the Mark of Mastery Exam. He then told her not to worry about the fact that he hated her, and that he hated everyone. At least she knew that she didn't do irreversible damage to a relationship that was barely there. More than anything Aislinn was just glad the issue was something that was fixable and not a huge problem that was her causing. "That isn't entirely true. You seem to get along with Hikaru and Kia-" Aislinn cut herself off remembering how Kaida reacted when they first saw Aux. Perhaps she was not the best example of this. "You get along with Hikaru just fine it seems So you can't hate everyone, just takes a while for you to warm up to them." Aislinn pointed out. She was trying to be kind but she didn't know if this was just going to piss Aux off more, he did seem a little on edge with her at times and she wasn't quite sure how to handle him and talking to him. She never want to make enemies here, so she tried her best but who knew with some of these kids if it would do the trick.

Turning back to the heartless Aislinn was a little bit disappointed that Aux even missed her reference that she was going for and mumbled under her breath. "If one more showed up then it might be a problem. Then that one will be mine." As she did so she launched herself back into battle at the Neoshadows that moved in there swaying jerky movements, all taking their sweet old time attacking, giving Aislinn time to get the upper hand on them. Unleashing a vicious cross slash on one of them she then spun and stabbed the other one through where the heart would be. Planting her keyblade into the ground, Aislinn then used it to vault over another small group of heartless, landing on a shadow before turning around and dealing several blows to the next Neoshadow from behind. That death however was enough to trigger their attention and bring them all to look at her once again. One, Two more went down to her blade before she had a chance to look over or reply to Aux again.

"Oh trust me, I am. If there was anything harder then those stupid floating demons that I was taking out earlier it would be a real pain in the ass." She said taking a deep breath before preparing herself in case anything tried to attack during the moment she took to breath. "Just don't go losing your sanity on me to this guys, or thinking you can go become all soft or anything. I would hate to see these runts break that fighter spirit of yours. After all it makes things so much more interesting." If felt like on odd encouragement, especially since she found that Aux and his personality were quite difficult to deal with. But she meant it as well. While she did believe that he could be a little more pleasant, she didn't actually want him to change all that much. He had a certain passion to him that was very useful in fighting, though he could afford to learn to be a little more helpful to other people. That would just come with time she supposed. He didn't seem to sold on the going to other worlds thing to start with, so it was probably just something unfamiliar to him.

Turning around Aislinn glanced back to see how Aux was doing. While she did keep her eyes all around, ensuring that nothing crept up on her, she just wanted to make sure everyone else was okay as well. "How are you holding up over there?" She asked in an earnest, not mocking voice, like she was genuinely at least slightly concerned. It wasn't at all that Aislinn didn't think that Aux could handle things himself. He had proven himself more than capable when he took on the hyena's by himself to buy them time to worry about Scar. That being said it didn't mean that she was not allowed to check up on his well being every now and then. If they were going to fight along side each other, even for a little bit, Aislinn needed to make sure that everyone was doing alright, it was in the best interest of everyone. If even one of them fell to something she could have prevented, not only would Aislinn feel bad about it, but it also put them at more of a disadvantage than they already were at, and that was something that she really didn't want for them, not when they were already facing off against thousands of heartless. That being said taking a quick glance around the island it seemed that the numbers had been reduced by a significant amount. It gave Aislinn a moment to relax her shoulders, but not enough to fully regain her energy as the battle was still going strong and she had someones back that she needed to be watching after all.

After that moment to check on how her comrade was doing, Aislinn turned her attention back to the heartless around her as she formulated the best plan of action going forward. At this point there was no real strategy, just hit fast and hard and dodge when she could. With this many heartless, there wasn't the time or predictability to create proper strategies. They just had to do with what they could in order to get through this in the best way that they could. Taking her keyblade in both her hands, Aislinn put a lot of strength into her next hits on the heartless around her, showing them no mercy as in a whirlwind of attacks, Aislinn had moved to Aux's left side, intercepting an attack that he was about to take, slicing the heartless's head clean off it;s body. From there she darted away before she was too annoying, taking up her position around the back of Aux again trying to deal with mostly the big guys first, though on occasion the smaller heartless would find their way closer to them and realize why that was such a bad idea. She had seen the damage that these creatures could cause. She lived in fear of them for so long that it was time to stop. Breaking free of that mentality Aislinn was determined to deal with these little demons once and for all, prove to herself what she could do here and what she could take home to her people. It was this thought that kept the drive going, even as beads of sweat trickled down her forehead with each swing and strike of her keyblade. Even as her muscles ached since she hadn't had a proper break in a while. Through all of this Aislinn still pushed on, not only to save herself or this world, but for what it would mean going forward and returning to her own world. It was a goal that she set that would get her through this to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Well that didn't exactly go as planned. While Tinarah seemed to have caught the man by surprise he did not expect her to jump out at him again. It got his attention off Aria but Tinarah still didn't manage to make purchase with him as a barrier went up to block her. This was not something that Tinarah was used to dealing with. Fighting heartless, they couldn't put up walls to block her assault, but this man could. Luckily for her however, somehow Thallasa managed to retain the ability to still use her magic and was able to knock the man out of the building, causing the other lady to retreat with Mr. Incredible in toe. That wasn't good, they would need to go after them, but first there was more enemies floating around that needed dealt with.

Looking around Tinarah quickly guaged what they could and couldn't do. From what she could tell she couldn't actually get too far until they dealt with this things, and the crazy lady that lived here probably wouldn't be happy if they left her to deal with these creatures herself. Keeping that in mind Tinarah cautiously moved into battle, giving herself a little bit of distance between her and the rest of the party, just so that she had more room to work with. The closest she had come to fighting with other people was when she worked with one of Torrins groups, but they always worked in open areas. Putting her training to good use Tinarah started to take out the helping hats, making pretty short work of the first five, before she turned to see who was next.

Much to Aislinns surprise Aux had joined the battle and even started on his way towards her, fighting his way though the heartless in a rather violent manner. She didn't mind too much, having help over on her end of things was not something that she was willingly going to turn down, even if the help was from a hot headed boy who clearly didn't like her at all. In the end help was help and she could use some of it at that moment if they were going to make it through this in one piece. The way Aux worded things when he finally chose to acknowledge that she existed, made Aislinn chuckle a little bit as he asked if she had anything for him to hit. Choosing to make a game out of such things, Aislinn looked around and picked up a Shadow as she took a few steps backwards allowing a little more space between her and Aux. "Alright are you ready for it. It is going to come at you underhand." Aislinn warned as she brought the Heartless around and tossed it towards Aux like an underhand pitch, ready for him to hit it away like a baseball, taking some skills that she learned with the skill Fist Bump, to make her pitch all that more effective, since she was throwing a creature instead of a ball.

Glancing around though her games wouldn't be able to last long as she noticed that heartless started to pop up around them, more of those pesky Neoshadows. Gritting her teeth Aislinn was a little annoyed by them as she turned to look at more forming behind her. Jumping, Aislinn flipped over a few of the enemies before landing back to back with Aux. "You don't have to like me, but we are doing this together, if you watch my back, I will watch yours, deal?" It was a quick offer that she didn't assume that he would refuse. She finally smirked as she thought of the words of a hero who once passed through her town on his own travels. "So, do you think you can handle this many?" She challenged Aux before being forced to jump into the battle that was awaiting her. Her knuckles already white from gripping the keyblade. She didn't wish to think herself that angry of a person but at this moment the pent up rage from the battle was gnawing at her gut and Aislinn simply bowed to it's whims as she unleashed herself on the heartless that she was facing off against.

Like dust on the wind, all the heartless were was dust on the wind as Aislinn let her keyblade cut through one after another. Even when she jumped back to go into a defensive like stance, Aislinn would be careful not to bump into Aux or get in his way. They were working together for now and she didn't want to run the risk of pissing him off and adding another enemy into this battle. It was already tense enough as it was, and while some people like Hikaru seemed okay to talk with others, she was finding that a more difficult task than she should have. Her focus being entirely on the battle in front of her made it more difficult to observe and communicate with those around her, it was something that she would need to work on going forth to become a successful keyblade master. The title would mean nothing if she didn't have the strength to put it to good use and actually uphold the title to it's fullest.

"Daeni! Now is not the time!" Cerdic snapped as he put his keyblade down and walked over to Alder pushing him away from the console. "Here let me do it." He didn't really give Alder much of a choice, at this point he was simply pissed and just wanted to get this done and over with. "1. 0. 9. 5. 6. 4. 2. 8. 3. 7. There done." To say that Cerdic was fed up with all of this was an understatement. His attention then turned back to the mass in the corner. "Do what you need to do Alder." Cerdic told the other man before glancing over at Daeni for a moment, a little worried that she might do something stupid and get herself hurt to. Sure she was pissing him off right now, but he did still care for her. She was like a little sister to him. That is what siblings do. Piss each other off but still care for each other.

The man seemed to be glad that she showed up to fight him. Her attacks were avoided and parried with ease as he defended against her. After he managed to do that he stepped on her keyblade using it as a way of jumping over her to deal with the other girl she was fighting with. This was annoying that her attacks did so little, but at the same time, Tinarah knew not to let herself get too worked up over this. Anger or frustration only lead to more mistakes and she couldn't allow a mistake in a battle such as this one. Taking a deep breath in she prepared another attack when a piece of granite hit her in the stomach, knocking the wind out of her before Qamar grabbed her and dragged her behind a chair for cover. Tinarah was left coughing and sputtering for a moment but soon regained her composer. "If we all focus on one, the other two will just attack us when we aren't paying attention. I will try and keep the masked man attention for now, if you want to help deal with Mr Incredible."

As soon as she whispered the words to Qamar, Tinarah took a deep breath, pushing the pain to the back of her mind as she readied her keyblade. She then launched herself out from behind the chair using a few moves that Torrin had taught her in her month training with him. While she might have hated the man, he was a good fighter, a great one even, perhaps some of his skills that he taught her would do her some good in this battle since she was not able to use magic. This time Tinarah aimed her strikes to disarm the man, if he dropped his weapons, parrying her blows would become a lot more difficult and she would stand a better chance of getting the upper hand on him.

Good, Kel was able to fend off the Invisible and defeat it. That was good, she didn't have to worry about the big guys popping up anymore, though there were plenty of smaller heartless to deal with. During the period of time that Aislinn used to catch her breath and just breath a little bit, it seemed more people had gotten over their shock and finally joined in the battle. It wasn't that they were slow to join or anything, and Aislinn didn't hold it against them, but she had been jumping around so much already that it just took her by surprise to be noticing that people were just now joining in on the battle. That being said they were more than pulling their weight in order to keep up with the rest of them, meanwhile Stratos was bouncing between heartless like there was no tomorrow. Was there an end to this boy's energy? Like what sort of food did these people feed him, the way he kept moving, kept fighting was incredible and Aislinn didn't think many people could compare to that, though she could sure as hell at least try to keep up a little bit. She might have been new but she was no push over.

Like a scene out of a video game the Neoshadows rose up around her while Another Side, Another Story played through the air around her. While the song was slow at first it was enough as Aislinn stood up straight her eyes glancing over the heartless that were rising up around her. There movements were slow as they swayed side to side, all preparing to attack in unison if they could manage it. The first jumped and that send Aislinn spinning, her keyblade flying out around as it made purchase with the body of the first heartless. Two more jumped at her but with another slash she managed to take the second one out before barely managing to dodge roll her way out of the thirds attack. Rolling back onto her feet, Aislinn wasted no time with the on slaughter of her own attacks, her hits going from one target to the next, back and forth over and over again until both the Neoshadows turned to mist around her. Four more still swarmed around her as small Shadow Heartless started to join their much larger brethren in the attacks on her. It was a mistake that would soon lead to their deaths. With one slash Aislinn managed to send the first Shadow flying at a Neoshadow. However before the Neoshadow could brutalize the poor creature, Aislinn rushed forward at the two, piercing her keyblade through both heartless at once. As she did so another heartless jumped at her from behind. With no other choice Aislinn was forced to take the hit, but that didn't stop her, not yet anyways.

With the hit shaken off Aislinn turned and did her best to fend of the heartless that had just attacked her. It wasn't long before it too was nothing more than mist around her as she looked back at two more Neoshadows preparing to attack. However it was the smaller Shadow heartless that jumped into action first. Already annoyed with the wound on her back, Aislinn quickly lashed out and met the Shadow mid jump making sure it never landed before it too fell to her blade. From there she looked at the last two Neoshadows. "Lets do this." She mumbled before she used one of her favourite skills, Zantetsuken, to take out the last two. The one move was easily able to take out the two heartless and left Aislinn ready to continue her fight, ready for the next round should they choose to approach.

It was time to leave some of the work to the other people as she looked across at the last Invisible that it seemed that Kel was facing off against. Aislinn took a moment to breath and catch her breath as she listened to the battle around her, but not just the battle at this point, but also the communication that was happening. It made Aislinn happy to hear the team communicating, Kaida talking to all her comrades, it made this whole situation a little less... bad she supposed was the closest word she could think of. The fact that there was still high enough spirits to be talking to each other, that unity among this group. A small smile peaked Aislinns face as she looked around one last time before realizing the threat that still lay around her as she ran towards a run down looking shack near a water fall, jumping on it. The area was small enough that not too many heartless could get up there, making it a little safer for her to take her time catching her breath. "Alright Aislinn, you can do this, you got this. Breath a little more and then just go. All the kids can do it, and you are not that old, you know that. Older than all these guys, but not so old you are out of shape. Just go in there and continue fighting." The little pep talk just helped her focus herself, hearing her voice was better than hearing the battle around her. With that she managed to lift her keyblade again focusing on a spot in the distance.

By this point Aislinn gave herself enough of a break that she could focus in her energy back for another big attack. Her gaze focused in on the horrendous creatures that had been so cruel even to their own kind. The ones that tore apart their smaller brethren because he was hit with in in the heat of battle. The heartless Aislinn focused on were the Neoshadow Heartless. She had been taking them out slowly, but since she decided to leave the last Invisible for someone else, she figured she could afford to take out those creatures in mass now, more than she had before.

Once more, just like before, Aislinn slowed her breath and focused her energy. Her eyes glared at the cluster of heartless that were near the docks, the Neoshadows. With cherry blossoms around her and the threat in front of her, she launched herself off the top of the old dilapidated shack and towards the heartless. On her way over there was a couple of shadows that tried to get in her way to stop her but they were just met with the end of her keyblade, as her body kept flying through the mist that was created upon the death of the heartless. Ripping through the back of one of the Neoshadows, Aislinn found herself surrounded by a group of them, just like she wanted. Letting her mind fill with music, Aislinn started her dance of death. Twisting around, one after another the Neoshadows were met with the end of her blade. While some would think it was easier for her to use one blast of magic to wipe them all out, her magic was locked to her so she couldn't do too much with that. In exchange however she gained the extra strength and skills needed to deal with these guys in close combat, and it was not something that she shied away from as she took out the eighth heartless around her, not noticing how heavily she was breathing until she stopped.

"I am not acting myself? Why do you think that is Daeni. Look around you, look at what is happening to us and this work. What in the ten layers of hell would give you the idea that I should be okay and be flirting of all things. Besides look around us, who the hell would I even flirt with? You? You are like a sister that is disturbing? The child that you left to die? Kara? The girl who had to leave because she couldn't handle the stress of all of our friends dying? So no I am not alright, I haven't been able to do a damn thing to stop all this from happening. So why the fuck do you think I should be okay?" Cerdic snapped as he turned back to the form that was forming in the corner. He was anxious that all this work would be for nothing if they didn't hurry up.

"Quick, Alder, what was the hints for the user name and password. I am going to keep an eye on this thing but I can at least try and think of the answer as well. But if worse comes to worse and this... thing... forms, run." He demanded not wanting to see more friends die.

"I-" Auburn was a little caught off guard by how the boy just spoke out like he did. "Well.... Sort of. I mean I am not biologically his daughter, he has never been married even." She admitted, rubbing the back of her neck a little awkwardly trying to explain it. It was odd talking like this, but at the same time it was about a subject she was comfortable with, so it made things a little easier, and she wasn't actually ashamed of the fact she was adopted. She was actually rather happy that her father chose her. He didn't have to keep her but he did and he trained her and it was nothing to be ashamed of. "I am his adopted daughter. He raised me since I was five." Auburn finally said shifting slightly uncomfortable under the pressure of having any attention at all on her. But maybe now it made sense why Qrow was so worried about her. You did not want to mess with her father. He was scary when he wanted to be. Over all Auburn believed her father to be great and kind, and she had seen him have many good laughs with Qrow, when the old drunk man used to come over to check up on her father or ask for his help with something, but when he got mad, he could be scary and she knew it, that is why she knew that Qrow probably had that talk to save his own butt. That being said they both probably wanted to see her succeed, so maybe she needed to try, at least a little longer.

Fighting these humans was nothing like fighting the heartless or even sparring against Stamatis. This was it's own ball game and Tinarah was not quite sure how to handle it. While her attack had been dodged at least they seemed to be backing the girl into a corner a little bit, enough so that she had to call for help from the masked man who was currently battling the new girl. Trying to keep an eye on both fronts was hard, but as the woman jumped and went to attack Glyde, Tinarah turned to the masked man just in time to dodge out of the way of the blades. Tinarah glanced over at Aria quickly. "I will help with him, you help deal with her. I will try and keep the attacks off you." Stamatis had drilled into her head how important it was to communicate. He had made her practice talking in battle, telling her that she had to tell him what to do or he would stand there and let the heartless attack her. It was good training to get her talking a little more and now it was more instinct to just say what she was thinking in battle. Outside battle she still wasn't good at dealing with that and communicating, but at least she could do it in battle.

Now with her attention on the masked man, Tinarah ran in for a melee attack. She was annoyed that she couldn't use her magic, it was what she relied on more, but at least she had some knowledge of melee fighting and would put it to good use. She was not able to flank very well since the man had his attention on her, but maybe if she kept his attention Qamar could get a good flank attack on him. That just mean she had to face down an opponent of unknown power. That made her nervous. Even so she still had to try as she started slashing, first towards his torso, then trying to take out his legs.

Everyone around her seemed to be keeping up nearly as well as she was, they were all fighting hard, and still there was hardly an end in sight. They would need to put a lot of work in in order to get any further with this fight. At least there was only a couple of the Invisible heartless left, meaning that she could move on to a few easier enemies, give herself time to breath. That being said the big threat still loomed over her and she would need to deal with the last two before she was allowed time to relax and deal with the small enemies. As much as she would like to join the fight reducing down the numbers, left unchecked the big guys would be scary. As long as they could get those under control the rest shouldn't be too much of a problem. Though having their numbers cut down to two of them, the Invisibles were not too happy. She could see them start to dart around the beach, their swords out front. Jumping back Aislinn didn't give it a chance to hit her before she watched it do something she thought was strange. Putting it's sword in the ground, the heartless suddenly disappeared from sight. The next thing she knew a ring of purple orbs surrounded her. Aislinn was not able to roll out of the way before those orbs came together, converging on her spot. It stunned her for a moment, but when she saw it reappear by it's sword, she was back on track, ready to attack once more.

Surrounding herself in an protective wall, Aislinn charged forward at the thing, deflecting it's sword with her barrier as she went before she got the first strike on it. Unfortunately it was not enough to take him out. She would need to do a lot more than that one attack to take this thing out. It seemed annoyed that it's friends were dead and was being more aggressive than the others, Aislinn would have to watch out for that as she fought it. Taking her time with her strikes. Instead of doing a lot of fast, small strikes, Aislinn took her time and made sure she hit as hard as she could instead of as fast as she could. This meant that Aislinn only could manage to hit the thing once before she was sent dodging out of the way. She was able to get back to her feet soon after though before hitting it again. This went on a couple more times before it finally died. Taking a deep breath Aislinn looked around and shook her head at the small enemies that were making their way closer to her. They wouldn't stand a chance and she was sure that they knew that already.

Turning to the Neoshadow first, Aislinn took her time with this one, no fancy moves, not over the top attacks, simple hits that caused it to go down rather quickly. She didn't want to waste her time with the strong attacks that would take a lot out of her when something like this didn't need it. It was more worth it on the big guys, the big guys that only had one of them remaining. Sighing she then turned towards the small shadow that had been pawing at her leg for the last minute. "Shoo." She commanded it as she kicked it up and then swung at it like a baseball she had just thrown up. However instead of smacking it across the room he just dissipated into smoke a dust that surrounded Aislinns face as she walked through it looking for who was next.

So it seemed why they needed meet in this room was a meeting to talk about how their worked as a team. Auburn already knew that she was lacking in the communication department, that was part of the reason she wanted to leave. When Qrow turned to her and addressed her in particular, Auburn took a step back and shied a way a little bit as he crouched to her level to talk to her. Why was so much of this about her? Who cared about her? Of course her father had talked to Qrow before she got there. The old man worried far too much about her sometimes and did his best to care for her. But now she could only think of why he wasn't here instead of her? He could do so much more than she ever could.

As Qrow tried to give her instructions, Auburn bowed her head and meekly apologized to him before he stood up and walked off telling them to talk to each other. She still wasn't a fan of that idea, but at least their new member made an effort to speak, so... she would too because it was clear she wasn't going to go far from here, and her father would be mad if she walked away now. She had to do as Qrow said and step out of her comfort zone, try to talk.
"H-hi... I'm Auburn Miyashiro." She replied to him, glancing over at Lazuli and then to the others. She wondered how much any of them knew about some of the more popular Hunters, especially those that did most of their notable work eleven years ago, and only went back into the field a couple years ago. When he raised her, for 9 years he disappeared from the Hunter scene, but now he was back and Auburn wondered if anyone would draw the connection... or care, about the man who she called father and also saw as a hero. However she had always been such a shut in, perhaps he wasn't as important as she liked to believe perhaps it would mean nothing in the end.

There was still a gap between her and the next Invisible heartless, meaning that Aislinn would have to try and make her way further through the battle at hand. There was more fighting to be had before she could ever make it over to the next Invisible. Frustrated about all this, Aislinn picked up a shadow by the antennas, Aislinn began to spin it over her head before throwing it straight at a Neoshadow that was popping somewhere between her and the Invisible. She watched at the Neoshadow got annoyed and the small shadow seemed to be shying away from the larger heartless. A pang of guilt hit Aislinn in the soul as she watched the Neoshadow picked up the small heartless by the head and the legs. It's long, sharp, claw like fingers dug into the things head and legs as she watched the Neoshadow pull. There was a bit of a tearing sound and then the head was off, both the head and body turning into mist as the glowing yellow eyes of the Neoshadow peered at her, challenging her. Perhaps she should have thought things through before throwing a heartless at another heartless.

Spinning her keyblade around she searched her soul for a familiar force that she knew from before, when she first became a master. Music could be audibly heard around her as Aislinn spun her keyblade around a couple times and let the music carry her forward on light feet. The the beat of a drum her steps danced around the Neoshadow. Her keyblade hit to the sound of the snare. Strike after strike she dodged the long claws as she continued her onslaught. This was for the poor heartless that she exposed to so much pain before it died. She was inflicting equal pain on this heartless before she finally delivered the final blow so that she could move on to her real target, the Invisible that now rose up in front of her, sword out looking ready to try and kill her.

Through all this she managed to close the distance between her and the Invisible. Between the music around her and the extra strength granted to her by the job she chose to use, she didn't worry too much about the Invisible that stood in front of her as she kept on the move. Aislinn knew that the moment that she stopped moving she would not want to start, so she just made sure that she was still hopping around, dancing to the music as she slashed once from it's left shoulder, to right hip, before going from the right shoulder, to the left hip. After that she took her keyblade and drove it forward into where the heart would be if this was a person. The Heartless tried to drive it's own sword forward but that was easy enough to dodge before it crumbled to dust on her keyblade. With that Aislinn needed a moment to breath and recollect her thoughts before she could continue her dance of death that she was forced to go through. A dance that would truly prove her worth as a keyblade Master. If she could survive this then she could survive anything that was waiting for her back at home. She would be confident that she could save her home from whatever state it was left in now. Whatever had happened to her home after she was lost to darkness couldn't have been good, but Aislinn prayed that they were able to hold the walls in the end and keep the city strong. As long as they could do that, she could put an end to the infestation, but first she had to put an end to the heartless here.

Continuing her crusaders escapade through the horde of heartless, picking on the bigger heartless first before bothering with the smaller heartless like some were. Aislinn was quite thankful for those who fought the smaller heartless and kept their attention while she did her work. She wished she could be of a little more help but, she knew that she needed to pace herself. If she was going to deal with the large heartless, she couldn't waste time on the smaller heartless as well. If she tried to do too much at once, she would exhaust herself far too fast and wouldn't be able to keep moving. Still only taking out a few heartless at a time wasn't feeling like she was making nearly as much headway as she would have liked to. Still the number of Invisible heartless was quickly going down and they looked like they could do a lot more damage than the little guys. That being said the little guys in the quantity that they were swarming in could still cause issues if they wanted to. They already were for what she could tell, but Aislinn wouldn't let that slow her down as she set her eyes forward, collecting the energy she needed for another large attack.

Slowing her breathing, Aislinn breathed in once, and as she exhaled, time seemed to slow around her as the faint smell of cherry blossoms filled the air. After that there was small cherry pedals that began to fall around her before she shot forward, time seeming to restore to it's normal flow as she dashed through the air towards the towering Invisible that was standing on a wooden dock. She leaving the beach she hit the wood at the same time she hit the heartless. That was all it took to take him out. A serge of adrenaline pumped through her veins as Aislinn turned to see what was next. The next Invisible floated far enough away that Aislinn knew that she couldn't get over their without fighting at least some things along the way. Starting with the neoshadow that had tried to sneak up behind her as she took in her next course of action. As she turned she missed the feeling of her cloak whipping around behind her. The thing was old and tattered, it had need to be replaced but she still missed it slightly. At least her new outfit was doing alright for her. A new her after all. Jumping around the Heartless she stashed it's arms away from her as it tried to claw at her before turning around and making one last slash towards it's torso. The heartless turned to mist in the air around her keyblade as she did such things.

From there Aislinn didn't miss a beat as she brought her keyblade down just as a heartless popped his head up from the ground where half a shadow still remained. As it managed to pull it's body fully up, Aislinn pulled a second strike at him, not giving the Heartless even a chance to attack before it died itself. She didn't take much joy in this kind of battle and was doing it out of necessity more than anything else. She knew some soldiers and guards that enjoyed the thrill of battle, and to be honest, Aislinn enjoyed a friendly spar, but she didn't care to have anything too serious. It was more just testing herself against someone else and finding out what she could improve. At this point there wasn't even anyone she felt like she was protecting with this battle. She was fighting just to save her own hide, and that was the hardest reason she could think of to fight. Yes she wanted to live, but there could have been so many better reasons to fight, being the kind of person she was, she would die for someone else, but to live just to live, it was harder to reason with.

Having called out for help, Kiara took one last large breath before jumping into battle. She was worn out and bruised by this point, but Kiara was not going to stop yet. She had to deal with these things. Kiara didn't think her magic would do too well against these things so instead she decided to just use the whip blade that she wielded to flick at the robots and wrap it around it's neck. With one hard tug she managed to sever the head from the body. "Nequa bots. Psh. Someone seems a little full of themselves don't they?" Kiara scoffed as she readied her whip to keep going in battle.

How come it did not surprise Aislinn when Stratos had jumped into the battle right behind her. It was not a bad thing or anything, but it felt to be suspected from the boy. He seemed to have that sort of personality to him, and Aislinn respected that. She couldn't help but give the boy a small smile before turning towards the mass amount of heartless that were wanting her attention it seemed. Looking around she quickly surveyed the heartless around her, what she needed to fight. While the small ones were everywhere, Aislinn zoned in only on the larger heartless, the six friends of the one that she had defeated moments before. Not the biggest of the heartless out there, but they were ones that Aislinn was certain she would be able to take on herself.

Doing her best to dodge around heartless that were in the area, Aislinn set her sights on an Invisible heartless. It was in a distance but she could manage to get there she was sure. She just had to get over there. Wasting as little time as possible on the smaller heartless, Aislinn was quickly closing the gap between her and her quarry when a Neoshadow rose up in front of her stopping her in her path. Trying to dodge out of the way and keep running, the neoshadow wouldn't allow such things to happen as it moved and launched itself at her swiping with both its claw light hands. Dodging out of the way, Aislinn rolled to avoid the attack, getting the first bit of dirt on her brand new clothes. "You are going to pay for that." Aislinn mumbled. In truth she didn't care that much about how her clothes looked, or how clean or dirty they were, it was simply a reason to fight, something to drive her a little more to fight as she rolled back onto her feet taking her keyblade and slashing at the Neoshadow in a cross shaped motion.

The Neoshadow fell to Aislinn's keyblade, opening the path for her to continue moving once more. She could see the Invisible heartless nearing now and she readied her keyblade to deal with it, when a stray shadow walked out into the path. It wasn't that they were hard to defeat, but this was getting annoying as it leaped at her ready for an attack. This would not be hard to deal with, but it was still annoying. She lashed out with her keyblade sending the heartless flying and hitting the Invisible in the chest. As it did, the Invisible swatted the poor heartless got thrown once again, this time dissipating as it hit the tree. That left one just her target as she faced off against it.

While this heartless wouldn't be as easy as the last two she had just defeated. Smaller heartless tried to jump on her as she readied for battle. Instead of allowing them to get in her way again, Aislinn wrapped herself in a small barrier as she charged passed all the heartless to face her singular target. with her rush attack she managed to slice at the Invisible once before she danced around him, dealing a combo of hits in quick succession, trying to bring down this thing as quickly as she could. It was not falling this heartless as quickly as she did the other one, but that was because she did not have the energy to perform another attack such as she had previously again. While her attacks were still strong, she did need a bit of a break from the heavy hitters to reserve her energy. Soon even this one fell to her blade. Spinning around she surveyed the battle ground once more. Slowly more and more people were joining the hell hole that would be this battle. She silently wished them all luck in their own fights as she was forced to turn her attention back to the heartless. They wouldn't stay off of her for long. She needed to be ready for the next wave of attacks.
