"Trust me if I could choose what I could remember I would certainly choose to remember the location of the castle over the stupid blue birds with yellow eyes. But unfortunately my mind doesn't work that way and my memories aren't all there still." Cerdic sounded slightly annoyed that Mora had to comment on him not remembering it. He was fed up enough with his lack of memories surrounding the entire event, especially when the ones he seemed to remember felt rather useless to the entire situation. At the very least Mora did know where the castle was to take them to it. Mora could lead them there but the question was left to them, did they all want t go? Cerdic wasn't so sure if they did all want to go, but Daeni seemed scared of the idea of splitting up. "Well... if we split up we would get more done, but Ria is still out there. We were lucky last time Mora caught them by surprise, but will we get so lucky next time? And if they do show back up here we don't want them doing any more damage to the extractor right? Perhaps it is best to split up. I mean someone has to go to Nocte Arce right? If it makes you feel better Daeni, wait here with Alder and Chrono, I am sure between the three of you, you can defend yourselves. Mora and I will head up to Nocte Arce and try to be sneaky about it. Perhaps we can get there without Ria noticing and then it will be fine. Just go over with me again everything you remember about that area Daeni and we will go from there." Cerdic suggested. He didn't know how well people would take his suggestion but he had to try, right?
"It's nice to meet you too." Thea smiled as she held out her hands and started making small fireworks in her hand and cute designs. Suddenly the fireworks connected into a dragon shaped ribbon that weaved between her figures. She giggles as she made the display for the three brothers, happy to have a new audience to show off her magic to. She paid next to no mind to the man who walked in the door as she continued to make friends with the three boys. Her tricks got more elaborate as she did them, creating small butterfly's and such, nothing ever venturing far from the palm of her hand though, knowing the flames would hurt others if they touched them. Tinarah was so distracted that she hardly noticed the conversation behind her or the eyes that looked at her. However she suddenly heard the word kitten and turned around and looked at the older boys. "There is a kitten? Can I see it? We have to go now anyways right? Please will you take me to see the kitten? I bet it is so cute and fluffy!" Tinarah begged before looking at Gavin and Zephyr. "Can I go. I promise I won't be too long. You don't have to come with me or anything. I promise I will be back before it is too late and then we can do our jobs. I just want to see the cat. Is that okay?" She asked them knowing that while they were her equals, they still tended to treat her like a child and would be mad if she just ran off without asking. At least by asking she wouldn't make them mad.
It didn't take long for Aria to be at her side, hugging her. Tinarah gave the other girl a light hug back at first, but when Aria stated she missed Mika too, her suspicions were confirmed and tears flowed more freely now. So much loss... why Mika? Why did she have to die twice? Mika might have been lost and confused but she was super sweet and helpful. Like Aria, Mika had always tried to help her adjust and calm her during that first week with Master Choma. The times had been hard for her and Mika never gave up on her. Gero clearly dismissed Tinarah and before she stepped back in line with Aria, she glanced up to Stamatis. She tried to gage if he had any reaction to her story. If he was upset, or looked at her more fondly, or anything that told her that the bond she had with him before was still there, even with this Stamatis as Gero had promised it would be. Through teary eyes however she couldn't tell much and the Council had turned their attention to Glyde by this point. Turning around Tinarah finally walked back to the line, though standing a little further back, wiping her tears with her sleeve. She didn't want anyone looking at her while she cried. After what was a rather stupid conversation and debate on whether or not Glyde's question was justified, the council then turned their attention to Torrin, who clearly wasn't taking this whole situation all that well. As he talked about the war that was causing the civil war in his realm. The same war that the other Torrin spoke about, the one that he was finishing. Tinarah flinched a bit at the comment and looked up at Gero wondering if he was worry like she was. Perhaps she was just being too paranoid, but Tinarah was still finding it difficult at this time. Tinarah now wished that she didn't have to be in this room anymore, listening to this anymore. She couldn't do it. She couldn't face this and stay as strong as she wanted. She took a few deep breaths, looking inside herself for something to calm her, but the tears still ran, even as Take started to speak. The points Take made however only made Tinarah's paranoia even worse. Perhaps Torrin right now had no intent of bringing back the war that apparently the Realm of Light started. At this point she was as paranoid of anyone bring that war back, not just Torrin. While Torrin was horrible in the other realm, over all the war and what it did to the people, how the Realm of Light lost the first time and was losing in the other realms war, she didn't know if they could win, especially with how things were now. Unless the Light Chaser was collecting Light in order to win any future war, but that... She knew the balance between the two were important, it still worried her. Her thoughts were racing as Nini rubbed against her leg trying to comfort her. Picking up the cat, Tinarah glanced at Choma before taking a step closer and whispering to him. "Can I leave now?"
With one last wave and goodbye, Aislinn departed from the world. They were almost done now, their exams were over and it was time to find out if they had what it took to become keyblade Masters. This was not how she had thought things would go when she was swallowed by darkness protecting her home, but Aislinn wouldn't turn this down. This is what she wanted, this is what she needed to do in order to protect her family properly. Her world had warriors, but no one could combat the heartless without a keyblade. If she became a master, perhaps she would stand a chance at being able to stop the heartless. Stepping out of the portal, Aislinn found herself stretching her arms and seeming to be getting used to her human body again. "Well that was interesting." She commented to herself before looking over at the other group that was starting to come back and giving them a wave. "Hope it all went well with you guys!" She called out to the two boys that she had worked with previously during this exam.
After having had a talk with Chrono, followed by the much needed bath, Tinarah found too soon the time came to meet with the council of masters. She didn't know if she was ready to face them, or talk to them. She at least knew that she wouldn't pass out on them this time, but that was only a small comfort as being around only a few people had made her uncomfortable thus far, made her miss the time back with other Stamatis in the quiet castle surrounded by a wooded area. When Choma came to get her to go to the meeting, he found her sitting on the bed meditating much like Stamatis taught her to. She wasn't as into the meditating thing as Stamatis was, but she had, over time found that it helped with her nerves, even slightly. Following the others Tinarah stuck close to Choma as they lined up in front of the council. Tinarah barely offered a glance up before turning her gaze to the floor. She noticed Stamatis and felt bad, she could see that he might still be a bit hurt. It made it even harder to be here as all the masters looked down at them, but given her journey so far, she felt like they were all looking at her. Whether that was true or not was up for debate, but that didn't stop Tinarah from shifting uncomfortably, fidgeting with her sleeves a bit as Master Gero began addressing them. As the talk turned from the Light Chaser to his absence, Gero brought her up, and Tinarah took a step back a little as she glanced up. She wasn't fond of being called out as she had been. What was worse was that he was motioning her to step forward, asking for her story. There was a moment of hesitation before she finally took a step away from the line of people she had been brought in with, not quite sure if she would call them her friends at this current time. "From the very beginning?" Upon receiving a nod from Gero, she cleared her throat and tried to think of what to tell them exactly. She had been over parts with Take, she should have known what to say or do, but now with all the pressure on her, her mind was falling blanket as she stammered to get the first words out. "W-well... I... You see... We were in a world and I tried to go off and defend the world from darkness and all that. And well... I tried to save the man who brought me out on the boat to fight the heartless instead of looking after myself. I was knocked in the water and passed out.... I think... I don't really know... It was all a blur and-" Tinarah stopped herself, taking a few deep breaths and centering herself, using more techniques that Stamatis had taught her as she touched the necklace that he also gave her. Exhaling she started speaking again, a little more calm this time. "When I woke up again a young man brought me to The Light Chaser. He healed me, warmed me up and dried me off. He healed a scar on my wrist..." Tinarah held up her arms to show the scarred wrist and the one that was healed, before lowering them and adjusting her sleeves again. "After that he brought Aria to me... At that time I thought Aria was dead, so to see her alive it was a miracle. He then promised to send me home but said Aria couldn't come with me because she was repairing the world... or something like that. I took his offer to go back to the others, I was going to tell them Aria was alive and try to lead them to her, but when I reached the other side of the portal I found myself on a foggy bridge. After a while of walking, Chrono," Tinarah turned to her brother for a moment. "found me. I was panicked and he was trying to calm me down, but I insisted that he take me to the others so we could save Aria. He got mad that I wasn't calming down and... he threw me off the bridge, to what I was sure was my certain death." There was another pause where she touched her necklace again as she drew the strength she needed to continue, not from the necklace, but from in herself, the necklace she just found helped calm her thoughts. "When I woke up next, I was in a bed. A boy said he found me on the street and dragged me to his home. Somehow I wasn't hurt either. A stayed with me for a bit, he was going to get his father to help me find my way home, but before he could, the heartless came. The world was lost. A and I ran, but his parents had to buy us time. Then there was this chasm. I managed to jump across, but when I turned back... A was gone. The ground he was standing had fallen into the chasm and I was left on the other side with a keyblade wielder that I had never met before, that I now know as Uncle.... well Master Fost. He brought me somewhere safe and promised to help me find Master Choma. However when we found him... it was, but wasn't Master Choma, this one was still a student and he was a lot younger." Tinarah looked back at her master and shuttered when she remembered the looks the younger version gave her, like she was some strange broken object. "Upon seeing my reaction Uncle Fost brought me to a friend... Master Stamatis. According to him I was outside my own timeline. He agreed to train me until I was strong enough to go back. The only problem was that I was unable to wield my keyblade ever since I had met the Light Chaser." That part made her uncomfortable enough that she glanced up for a moment at the other masters to see how they reacted to her own weak nature. "I trained with Master Stamatis for five years after that, with only the occasional visit from Uncle Fost during that time. While I was never able to summon my own keyblade again, at one point in which I was pushed to the limits, I managed to summon my brothers. I had used it for the rest of my time with Master Stamatis. At the end of the time training with him, he tried to send me home, gave me this necklace that he poured his own magic into. Between his magic and my own magic I should have been able to get back to my right timeline, however the place in which I reappeared, it wasn't my timeline." This was the part that it was starting to get hard for Tinarah to talk. She felt her throat close up a bit as her voice grew softer and more distressed. "The world I found myself in was Eventide, but not the one I had seen in my timeline. This one was dark, most buildings destroyed, and there were hordes of heartless everywhere. Too many for me to fight off on my own. Torrin managed to find me though... or an older version of him at least. He helped fend the heartless off as he took me back to a safe place in that world, the mansion there." "According to Torrin I should have been dead, and many of my friends had already died in a war between the light and dark realms. Master Stamatis, and Uncle Fost were among the list, as well as Take, and Aria..." Tinarah glance back at the beautiful young woman who had always been there for her, her fist clenched as she tried to force herself to speak more. "Mika was alive however, a queen of that place, Torrin was its king." As she said those words it hit her that Mika wasn't at this meeting either. At this point it was likely that she wasn't in the castle at all, but Nini was. Mika never left Nini behind. Tinarah glanced around at everyone in the room, maybe she just missed the girl? Panic was written on her face when she didn't see sign of Mika. "M-Mika provided me clothes and a place to stay, Torrin however had to go attend to the war that they were still fighting." Tinarah tried to continue, finding it harder to speak suddenly. She was forcing herself through the rest of the story at this point. "I... I trusted Mika, and assumed what they were doing was restoring light, so I offered to help Torrin fight. After all I wanted to do something Master Stamatis and Uncle Fost could be proud of me for, even if more than anything I wanted to return to them and train. Torrin set me on a training routine, claiming that I couldn't use my keyblade for it attracted more heartless and made them more aggressive. I trained with him and his men for a month, hardly having time to myself, getting ready to help with the war. However when the time came and the enemy was cornered. I found a group of keyblade masters were who we were facing. They spoke of experiments that Torrin had done to his friends, the darkness he wished seen brought to the world. When I tried to question it, tried to question which side of this fight my friends, Masters and Mentors where on... He knocked me out. When I awoke I was in prison, Mika there to break me out. She was convinced that the darkness wasn't bad and I was just locked up to keep me safe, but she didn't want this life for me so she took me and we ran." Tinarah was nearly in tears at this point as she continued on, looking around to see if she could spot Mika again. "Torrin caught us.... He murdered Mika... his wife. When I tried to fight him with my... Chrono's keyblade, it shattered with just a single swipe of his. To answer my questions from before about the experiments, he called this... this creature. This heartless monster that was supposed to be my brother. While it recognized me, called me sister, it wasn't Chrono. I think... enslaved to Torrin it was suffering. He threatened to purge my light as well, however without putting me in that form. Chrono, it seemed was the only one to survive his experiments, if you could call that surviving. He however wanted me to keep my form, but was going to deal with that later. He locked me up again, and that is where I met Ge- Master Gero." She hoped the council would know the rest from there, but for the sake of covering everything, she took one last deep breath to finish her story. "I don't know exactly how long we were down there, I stopped counting pretty quickly, but Master Gero tried to help me summon my own keyblade. After not being able to do it, I decided to starve myself rather than bare Torrin's heir. When he came down to confront me about it... somehow I managed to fight him off, in one last stand my keyblade came to me and I froze Torrin long enough to get Master Gero out. He then made a portal for us to return home. I assume you know the rest from there." Tinarah didn't think what happened in the portal important. She didn't even know if anyone else would have been able to see it, it could have been a delusion in her starved and possibly sick state. When she was done speaking she spared one last glance up but as she did she showed the silent tears that had been running down her face ever since she started talking about Mika again. "S-she isn't here and isn't coming back is she?" Tinarah's voice fully cracked as she looked down at her hands that were currently gripping the hem of her shirt, her knuckles white as she stood still central not knowing what to do now.
Speeched at him? Well that was an interesting term, but Tinarah wasn't going to question it too much. She had a feeling she knew what he meant. Stamatis was fond of talking if you would listen, offering advice, especially if he knew that you didn't want to talk back but needed help. She smiled a little at that comment, the thought of her master. She knew the one that Take would have met was not the same as the one that taught her, but still, unlike Torrin, their personalities seemed to line up rather well. Moving closer Choma asked about what had happened in her room before and that was something Tinarah had been trying to avoid talking about. She knew the melt down she had would be concerning. However not telling him anything would just worry him more. "It... well the girl locked the door and I just reacted badly. I panicked." Tinarah admitted. "I tried to run off but the door was locked and I didn't know what to do. Sorry if I worried you." It was an awkward thing now and she didn't know what to say. He asked what she needed, offering more food but Tinarah shook her head. "I think it will hurt my stomach." Tinarah admitted. Soon Choma started feeling guilty, claiming he failed her as a master. It reminded her of Stamatis when he felt bad about not getting her home when he had wanted. "It's... Okay..." Tinarah tried to comfort him but didn't really know how. "Master Stamatis and Uncle Fost took good care of me in your place.... Everything was fine until... well they tried to send me back to you when I was strong enough and it didn't work." It was a vague explanation, but at least she tired. "He never hurt me. He actually healed my wrist." Tinarah held up her one hand. It wasn't that she thought the Light Chaser was good, but she didn't want Choma to worry.
So she had to go get her violin from her brother eventually. While she wanted to get her violin, she wasn't going to rush back for it or anything. "Thank you for getting it for me. That violin... means a lot." Tianrah told him, not going into detail. The last time she spoke of her mother.... well she was training with Torrin and none of those memories were all that pleasant. The thought of Torrin wanting to name his heir after her mother... especially when, if Tinarah was correct in her assumption, it would share the same blood line as her mother, it made the topic difficult again. She had gotten better with talking about her mother while with Stamatis, that comfort she had gotten disappeared with Torrin. As they spoke Take mentioned music being something Stamatis would be into and Tinarah looked curiously at him. "You know Stamatis then?" She asked as he continued to tell her it was okay if she didn't adjust right away. Tinarah shifted a bit. "I... haven't been around anyone my age since I left. It was always just me and Master Stamatis. Even when Uncle Fost did stop by it was only for an hour or two." It was probably being in prison that was bothering her the most but she didn't want to talk or reflect on that part. As they continued their conversation, Tinarah heard a voice behind her and jumped at first. She relaxed a bit to see it was Master Choma standing there with Boreas. The other man still made her uncomfortable but he had saved her life so she knew that she needed to at least pretend to be okay around him. Looking back to Choma, Tinarah tried to smile, but it wasn't much of one at all. "My stomach hurts less today. I have a bit more energy today.... but I could have said that yesterday until.... everything." She said softly. She wasn't truly feeling horrible until they fell out of the portal and into the water. A little dizzy, sure, but she was still functioning at the time. Her mental health was probably still questionable, but she wasn't about to bring that up to Choma quite yet... or at all. She needed to train and get stronger. She didn't want to be benched because Master Choma was too worried about her and wouldn't let her do anything. "I think the rest helped... and the food. The food really helped." She looked back at Take as to say thank you for her breakfast. She would have to properly thank Atmos later.
Giving the chief a slight nod Everette looked back to the town hall. "Thank you very much Chief Yolvun I will make my way up there as soon as I meet back up with Conrad and Samuel." After all Everette was a little paranoid about being late coming back after he was so strict telling the other two that they had to be back on time. Venturing up to the river outside of town would not be a good example. "It was a pleasure having you guide me, I will ensure we do our best to figure this out and help restore your town." With that Everette started to stroll back towards the town centre. Thea smiled and nodded at the boys. "Yep! I am a mage with Divine Rose! We are here to help your town so you guys don't have to be locked in here all the time. It must be boring being in here isn't it? Having to play with those little plastic blocks and all. They kinda look boring. And why do they have a bunch of dots on them anyways?" The crouched down next to them to get a better look at the domino's that the boy was putting down. "Oh! I am Thea by the way!" She stated as she lit a small fire at the tip of her finger and spelled her name in the air, the red flames lingering for a moment before they disappeared.
Frowning Tinarah watched him try to move his hand and not have too much success in it. She lifted her own hands, placing them in such a position that she would play violin. "Yeah... I would hate losing the use of one of my hands. Sorry that happened." If she was there could she have even stopped it? When she was twelve probably not, perhaps now... but how many other people were around. There was no use feeling guilty about it, and surprisingly she didn't feel as guilty as she thought she would. Being around people her age and friends again had been confusing to say the least. She had thought when she got back things would go back to the way they were when she left, but Tinarah hadn't seen Mika or Aria since coming back. She had spent the most time talking to a boy she didn't talk to before much, and hadn't said a word to her old master. On top of that with the meltdowns she wasn't doing too well on this whole adjusting and going back thing. "Did anyone get my violin back? I honestly don't remember much of yesterday... but I remember Stamatis came... then the Light Chaser. I think he might have hurt Master Stamatis, and I want to see him, but he always played piano with me so I want to play him one of our favourite songs." Tinarah explained. "Though maybe... Did Master Choma worry about me?" She asked. She worried he didn't even notice, after all he hadn't been her master that long, but if he had noticed and worried about her, maybe she should visit him first, after all he remembered her, Stamatis just had a feeling he might know her. It hurt to think about. She wanted to go back to where she knew she was loved and cared for, but right now her mind was still filled with questions and doubts. She tried to keep the worry off her face as they turned from the kitchen, focusing on Nini instead to keep herself occupied. Maybe Take wouldn't notice, or wouldn't care, but it was better than facing her own thoughts. The facts of what happened scared her, some parts hard to talk about, but what was worse than that was the thoughts and doubts in her own mind, since none of those were facts. She had nothing concrete to hold onto and that was what tended to push her further back into herself, close herself to others. While talking with Take now, she knew she was already down that path, and didn't know if it was better that way. If she was just going to leave again, perhaps she shouldn't open herself up to others only to hurt them.
