Caleb listened to Xander as he spoke. An entire homeworld destroyed..how was that even possible? The only way Caleb knew of that that was attainable was through Chaos and Omega, but they had been taken out centuries ago. He would know, he was there. "He could have the power to destroy several worlds at one time, and could have several hundred people fighting alongside him, but it won't matter. I've seen some horrific things, and I'm not going to let them happen again. He can throw whatever he likes at us, but I'll keep people safe. I'll keep them alive, I'm not going to let any more people die to him. Just relax and prepare yourself for the battle ahead, because the one thing we know is that it's going to be a hard fought one" the guardian responded. Dane gritted his teeth as he felt the heat gaining ground on him and his attack was blocked by Avi's mirror. "Save it for someone that cares" the shadow reaper responded to Samsara, before being blown back by Avi. Straight into the tornado. He didn't have much of a choice. After building up the threat, after making the attack stronger, he had no choice but to dispel the magic or be burned alive. He did just that, the energy required to dispel it equal to that required to cast it in the first place. He looked up at his opponent now, eyeing him carefully. Avi didn't seem to have much offence, but his defence was nothing to laugh at. Those mirrors were a huge problem. This battle seemed to be dragging on for an unnecessary amount of time, and Dane didn't like it. He cracked his knuckles and then lifted his scythe behind his neck once more, just resting on his shoulder. "You're not half bad. Course, that means you're not half good either. I've got a deal for you, mirror boy. If you're willing to concede and leave here, I won't chase you. You can go back to whatever loved ones you have and tell them you succeeded or some crap, I don't know. That's the first option. Second option is this; you can stay here and try to stop a man who has single handedly destroyed entire worlds on his own, and if you win then that's lovely and you can tell your goddess everything's saved, but if you lose...well, lets just say you'll be wishing you were on one of the destroyed worlds rather than being captured here" Dane offered. As Hunter's blade connected with Beuce, he could see it in his opponent's eyes; he'd won. Beuce was actually quiet, something that was very unusual for him, until he called Stratos over. Hunter allowed Stratos to pass by him and say goodbye to Beuce. There was no point in trying to dog shot him or take him by surprise; for one thing Hunter couldn't attack during a cutscene, and for another Stratos was probably surprised enough by the fact Hunter wasn't wearing any clothing. Beuce faded to ashes, and as he did so Hunter allowed himself a cocky smirk. If there was going to be some absolutely bs move or stat increase his enemy was going to use, it would come now after his ally had died. And if he did, Hunter would be ready to avoid and counter it. Hell yeah, bring on the plotmod!
Hunter landed on the ship before the others had arrived, but unfortunately the mission objective hadn't been released at the time, so he had simply sat down and waited. As soon as the mission objective had been stated, he had seen two of the dragon balls spawn around the area, but that was wrong...could the rp creator not count or was he just blind? Turns out the answer was neither. As he stood to start looking, he saw that the third dragon ball spawned where he had been sitting; he'd blocked its respawn zone and delayed it. Bending down, he picked it up as Renju flew over. "Well crap, that was easier than I thought" he said, thinking out loud.
Spending my point on anti-mage!
The moment Hunter was able to post again, he had been prevented by his RPer. Damn lazy Australians. He decided to continue the attack, dashing towards Jeice who had still not actually done anything to defend himself. How did this guy get on a team? Was he the team's human shield? He must have been, that's all he was good for. Flying straight towards Jeice, he then got a little above him and raised Krillin above his head to deliver the final blow. However, his attention was caught by Galia's gerbil. Wow, that was a cute pet, might make a good miniature scarf. He narrowed his eyes as he actually started to give a **** about something else. It was him. The legendary Ginger Gerbil. His kryptonite, his bane, whatever you wanted to call him. All at once, Hunter's heart started racing. If he was here, it wouldn't be long until his entire race had come here. He had thought he had escaped the gerbil overlords when he'd fled Wasillyshin, but evidently not. They'd found him, he was screwed. He lost consciousness, dropping Krillin and plummeting out of the sky, slamming into Jeice as he did so. He regained consciousness a couple of minutes later, in this small crater in the ground. He got up slowly and turned around to see Jeice, beaten horribly and unconscious for the moment, but still alive. That was impressive. "Hey Baldy, looks like everythin' wor-" he began to say, but he heard no protesting, no complaining or making excuses about his loss of hair. His eyes scanned the horizon, but there was nothing he could see other than that small rock on the ground a few feet awa- Wait, that wasn't a rock. That was a crumpled up body of a human. Krillin had died! Dramatically, Hunter collapsed onto his knees. Spoiler Once his dramatic cry was over, he bent over and picked up Krillin's body. "Bald man..you were a noble weapon. You were an adequate meatshield, and nobody can ever take that away from you" Hunter said, grim tone to his voice. However, Krillin began moving and escaped Hunter's grasp before standing up. He was fine. With the defeat of their opponents and Krillin actually being alive (damnit), there was only one thing. "To the dragon's babies!" Hunter exclaimed, launching into the sky as the gerbil had seemingly vanished, and flying in the direction Ginyu had gone in.
As Hunter was knocked off of Stratos, he chuckled a little bit at his reaction. He stood up proudly, before turning to look at Gwen. "Dante's right, it is showing. I don't think that's meant to be there, you should see a doctor about that" the man stated. He made his way over to Beuce before high fiving him. o/ However, Beuce was still his enemy for this round, as was Stratos. Between himself and Gwen, they could probably beat them given how heavy Beuce was breathing, but where was the fun in that? You want to turn people against each other. "Stratos, look at your party member, then back at me. Back to him again, now look at me once more. Unfortunately, your party member is not me, but it could be. All you have to do is remove your clothing and listen to my words. Let me get inside you...of your head. Allow me to come...over there and tempt you to the dark side. Let me show you my meat...that won the prize for best-cooked steak four years in a row. Look at my penis...Okay that one was actually dirty. Sue me. Wait what this is a children's site? You can actually do that...? Uh..." he said, coughing, "please don't actually sue me" Hunter said, the nudity beginning to influence his speech patterns. He then decided against recruiting Stratos. Not only was it probably not going to work, but even if it did there was a good chance they couldn't move on without beating him, and last time he checked friendly fire was on. Or at least he hoped it was on. He'd never admit it, but Gwen wasn't too bad of a shot with that cannon, and the thought of being beaten by a girl wasn't a nice one. "Welp, I tried" he said simply. He stepped towards Beuce and equipped his sword once more, before swinging it aimed at the man's torso, attempting to finish off the exhausted warrior. As the tornado continued increasing in size and power, Avi tried to stop it by unleashing ice pillars at it. As the ice shot towards the tornado, Dane turned to Samsara. "Can't remember. You can't seriously expect me to remember something from six hundred years ago can you?" he asked, shrugging his shoulders before he took off. He opened a dark corridor and stepped through it, appearing to the side of the tornado as he released a few firagas. The firagas hit the ice but didn't stop it completely, simply reducing it in power as it hit the tornado. The tornado slowed down ever so slightly, but it was still quite threatening. However, it did cause an eruption of steam to appear, and amidst the steam Dane dove through the tornado, flames burning his skin as he appeared on the other side and, with a wicked grin, swung his scythe in a wide arc once again at Avi. He had to be quick. If he didn't take down Avi or get out of the way in the next minute, he would collide with the flames once more, and that was something he wasn't eager to experience. Caleb had followed Xander and had simply stood nearby him as he waited for the others to return. If they'd been back, it would have been a relief to see Juliet and Audrey safe, but at the same time it would bring drama and probably put them in danger with confronting Dane, so to an extent he was glad they weren't back. Xander warned him about Dane and the confrontation that was coming. Did he really think Caleb didn't know how dangerous he was? "I saw him in the castle too, Xander. We will take him down, don't worry about that. I have fought more threatening things in my life, so together we will overcome him. As for Alisia..well, she'll be safe, but i'm not going to make sure she's okay. That one's for you, because you're not going to die this battle. Nobody is, except for Dane, you'll see" Caleb responded simply.
As Hunter had yet again forgotten the colour value for this specific world, he landed a few solid strikes with his Krillin Blade on Jeice. However, his opponent was so powerful that he hadn't reacted at all. Perhaps he had simply stopped being controlled, perhaps the roleplay creator had gotten lazy, or maybe..just maybe, this was some incredibly smart plan of his to catch them off guard. "Bald man, we will not win this way" he stated. He flew up high into the sky and looked around to see where Galia and Renju were. Both of them were, conveniently enough, located within the vicinity that his voice would reach, so he could probably yell and they would hear. "We need to defeat these people quickly to go and grab the dragon's balls! His children are on the line, and it will be us who will be held responsible for being defeated. Wait, did I say us? I meant you. You will be responsible! Let us group up as my entourage and destroy these people. Why fight 2 on 1 when we can fight 6 on 3? The odds are far better for us grouped up!" Hunter boomed, failing math as he made his announcement. 2/3 posts for Hunter.
Hunter's jaw tightened a little at the appearance of the Ginyu force. It appeared that the world had found a way to counter him. To defeat an entourage, one must use their own entourage, and that was exactly what Ginyu had used. More importantly, he had been assigned to fight an Australian. These guys were the stuff of legends, they were as close to gods as any mortal could come. Although, it appeared this one hadn't acquired his golden glow that made him invincible to everything but barrels, so for the moment Hunter knew that he hadn't hit his peak strength. Nonetheless, the battle would still be hardfought, even with someone as powerful and spectacular as himself. Turning to look at Krillin, Hunter held out his hand. "Bald man, take my hand. I have a strategy which will inevitably defeat the opponent we are facing, however you must trust me completely to do it". He waited until Krillin took his hand, and then Hunter made his move. Using his sheer strength, he dragged the small man along as he flew at Jeice. Swinging him around so that Krillin's bald head was facing towards his enemy, he used Krillin like he was a kind of blade, slamming his ally into Jeice. Jeice was knocked back, seemingly caught off guard, and Hunter appropriately angled Krillin so that he was now laying horizontally down, in the same way that one would hold a cannon if they could lift one. He had done the impossible; he'd turned cannon fodder into an offensive killing machine. 1/3 posts for Hunter and Krillin vs Jeice
I know it hasn't even been two weeks (close enough though), but after a little discussion and thinking on my own, I would like to request joining back into the rp. However, I will not be partaking in the current missions as I stand by what I said about them and still have no desire to be part of them. that being said, I am more than happy and would very much like to join back once the current missions are completed. I do have reasons for why I want to join back, and if anyone wants to know them then you'll have to send me a message either here or on Skype. Also, please refrain from adding me back to the group chat as I feel that is the best way to prevent myself causing problems with people. EDIT: Screw it, throw me in the chat I guess :/
Code Name: Gexln Full Name: Lucas Daniel Beaumont Date of Birth: 7th November. Age 26 Photo I.D.: Here Personality: Serious, sarcastic to an extent, tactical, and likes to think things through a lot. Has a menacing side to him, which he will only show when he is prepared to do anything to get what he wants. Absolutely despises those with powers. History: Spoiler: It's a big one As a child, Lucas Beaumont was interested in two things; detective stories, and superhero shows. At the young age of six, Lucas was advanced for his age, showing phenomenal growth intellectually, and reading books that were intended for much older people. His favourite was detective books. There was just something about the idea of mysteries being solved that nobody else could solve, the idea of putting away criminals behind bars in such a spectacular fashion that it left all who knew of the mystery in awe. When he wasn't reading, he was watching television. Usual comedies and action shows were alright, but it was the shows about superheroes that interested him. The way it showed them using their powers, the way it showed them protecting others; it really made Lucas enjoy watching them. He found himself wishing they were real, wishing they actually existed. He got his wish pretty early, at the age of 9. The Smiling Butcher. That's what the police had called him. A man who had telekinesis, and whose preferred method of killing was rumoured to be holding people against a wall, and cutting them in neat pieces, using his telekinesis to hold all of it together and then arranging the pieces in the shape of a bloody, happy smile. Lucas left to go to school, and came home to the carcass of his dead father and his mother being violently raped. He heard her scream and tried to run for the door, tried to run for help, but he didn't make it before the door telekinetically slammed in his face. He would never forget that afternoon. The butcher had continued on with what he was doing, utilising his telekinesis to keep Lucas' eyes open while he did it. Then, when he had finished, he cut the woman's throat, letting her bleed to death before cutting her and her husband into pieces, again all while that 9 year old child watched on in fear and horror, unable to do anything but kick and scream, held against the wall by an unseen force. Once it was over, the Smiling Butcher just left the kid alive, knowing that he was broken emotionally. Most kids would have given up, some may have tried to kill themselves, fewer still may have tried to go after the man there and then, but Lucas did none of those. Even as a 9 year old, he was tough. He stopped his sobbing, and began to research the Smiling Butcher. Over the next four years, he would put pieces of evidence together until he'd figured out who the man was and what his motivation for killing was. Two days later, the Smiling Butcher was brought in. Behind it was a 14 year old boy who wore a grim face, yet the flicker of satisfaction was there. He'd seen the superpowers he had wanted to, and he'd wished he hadn't. The day his parents died was the day all hope for people with powers doing good for the world went with it, and the day that their killer was brought in was the day Lucas was set on the path for greatness. He continued working as a junior detective, helping the police with solving crimes as he built up a reputation, and then at the young age of 18, he joined the government as one of their most promising investigators. Lucas didn't slow down though, in fact the amount of criminals he was bringing in rapidly increased. And then there was William Velt. He was wanted for murder, theft, and vandalism. People said he was a large man with huge muscles and possessed some kind of strange power. It reminded Lucas a little of his parents' murders, and so he took the case. He tried for a while on his own to solve the case, but this one proved to be beyond even his capabilities. So he found help. Kytheria Orenstien was her name, though she preferred to be called Kye. Her methods weren't always the most suitable, but her way of thinking was truly unique; in some ways, she reminded Lucas of himself. Together, they solved the crime. Apparently William hadn't had any powers, he had just tricked people into thinking that. Though to find that out, they'd had to go through many, many of his lackeys. Three years later and Lucas had solved many more cases, and was highly recommended as an investigator. Soon enough, he would probably be the head of that department, but he wouldn't be happy then. No, he wouldn't be happy until every last one of those with telekinetic and telepathic powers were dead. They were a stain on humanity, and though it would sometimes seem they were doing good, he believed that in the end the only way to truly advance would be to kill them, for power corrupted people; he knew that better than anybody. Area of Study: Not a scientist, but a government official. Was sent to keep an eye on the scientists and keep them focused, or at least that's what he claims. He was really sent there to monitor those with powers, mainly, and to weed out any possible traitors. Employee Title: Investigator/Undercover agent Weapon(s): Beretta M9 (standard handgun used by US armed forces) Has a vicious looking dagger. Special Gadgets: Has a small chip that was placed inside on the inside of his skull that prevents any form of telepathy being used directly on him. Note that this does not stop abilities that don't directly affect him (for example, if someone used an illusion so that EVERYONE saw them as something else, he would see them as that something else just like the others affected, but if someone was directly making him see someone as something, it would not work). This is achieved by speeding up his brain's processing of things and heightening its activity, allowing him to focus even whilst being manipulated by telepathy, though it does completely nullify mind reading. Strengths/Abilities: Has a high IQ, high enough that he could easily pose as a scientist if he so chose. Also is very good at hand to hand combat, and is pretty good at telling when someone is lying to him. Level of abilities: 1 Abilities: Telekinetic push/pull Weaknesses: While he is a threatening man normally, if someone is found to have powers, he will do anything and everything to apprehend or kill them; leaving himself open at the same time. Hobbies: Reading, reflecting on his recent actions, and doing things that get a reaction from others. Other: Is Kye's work partner. Side: He believes he is on the side of Good, though that depends on your perspective.
Tom was a little bit offended that there wasn't even a word of thanks from either of their two guests. Although, he hadn't treated them as nicely as other guests, so perhaps that was the reason. Or maybe...maybe he just didn't hand out enough bandaids! That was it! Samuel had obviously been upset that he didn't have enough to completely cover his shoulder, and that meant that his brother had been annoyed aswell! Damn he was a genius. It almost made him wonder why the other mercenaries made fun of his intelligence. He hurried away from the boys, determined to find more bandaids and right this evil. Oscar made his way into the little hut. He wasn't particularly tired, but his little brother was right; they needed sleep. He didn't completely trust the mercenaries; how could you trust someone who was willing to take a life for money? He himself had once been one of those people, and many traits from that particular job had stayed with him, and if he was someone else he wouldn't trust himself at all. He didn't have anything against killing people, but he tried to make it people who truly deserved it. Murderers, people who abused others, anyone who took everything and gave nothing, though if he was given the right price he would overlook his morality. He was just like them, just like the other mercenaries, and he would never forgive himself. It was this reason he fought so hard to keep Samuel safe. He was all he had left. His little brother was more precious to him than he realized, and how did Oscar repay his kindness? By dragging him into this mess. He was the reason that his brother was in danger, and he was the reason their parents were dead. Hell, not just their parents, but the entire damn town; he just didn't quite know how to break it to Samuel yet. He'd been trying for years, but he'd never found the moment nor the words. Oscar got up and walked to the door before opening it and simply sitting outside, blade at the ready. There was no sleeping with these thoughts, so he may as well make himself useful.
So, apparently the enemies were not in fact enemies. Well, that made calling them enemies a mistake. Upon teaching them the ability to fly, Hunter nearly laughed. He could fly naturally, the fools just didn't know it. Now that he had been taught how though, he could do it without raising suspicion. Leaping up into the air, he soared upwards, only to begin descending rapidly and slamming into the ground. Apparently his ability to fly without assistance had been negated, but why? He couldn't see his weakness anywhere, so what was happening? With a sigh, he decided to actually use his new ability. He flew upwards and simply hovered in the air. "Oh, look at this, I must be a natural. I've never before flown in my life, so I'm just that good" he said, attempting to cover up his experience with a completely legitimate-sounding excuse. He then flew after Gohan and Vegeta after being told that's what they were supposed to do.
As Tom listened to Samuel's explanation, the brute stood there with a dumbfounded look on his face. He was sure Samuel was speaking words, in fact he could even understand some of them, but as for what the whole thing meant....he had no idea. Something about infection and blood and bandage....infection, bandages, blood...ah, now it all made sense. Tom knew exactly what Samuel wanted! He reached into his pocket once more and pulled out another pack of band-aids before handing them to Samuel. "If you wanted more bitch stickers, all you had to do was say so!" he exclaimed with a friendly grin on his face. However, it appeared that in order to recover completely, Samuel needed to sleep. In their village, sleep was for the weak, so they didn't have many beds. Although, there was that one bandit that had died...that would have to do. He gestured for Oscar and Samuel to follow him, before leading them to the home. Swinging the door wide open, it revealed a very plain, small room. It only had one bed, but there were blankets tossed on the ground that would be able to function properly as a bed. "You may stay here until nightfall, but then you must leave. We are needing the house for storage of important things" Tom said, still keeping a friendly tone as he spoke.
I'm all for this. I submitted a bunch of questions for the KHV podcast, and I was going to submit more but I'm not sure of what I've asked and what I haven't. It'd be a really useful feature for people that want to ask questions, that's for sure.
It did.
Vex shot a glare at Kari. Was she stupid or something? Sure, the more people they had there at that time the more likely it was they were caught, but had she forgotten why they were there? They were going to start a revolution, an uprising. How were they meant to do that without people to fight for them? "If you're asking about those rumours, you're wrong. I haven't started a revolution, I haven't recruited rebels or anything like that" he stated simply as he walked to the doors. He held his axe close as he leaned against them, listening for voices. He didn't hear anything, but that didn't mean there weren't any guards on the other side. Though, if there were there wasn't many, he would've heard something for sure. The mercenary turned his head and if one was paying enough attention, they could see small sparks dancing along the axe blade. "but I'm sure as hell about to" he stated, sporting the cockiest of grins as he kicked open the door. Behind the door there were four guards, simply sitting there. They were the group of people assigned to this particular section; beyond them layed the dungeons. With a roar, Vex dashed forward, swinging his axe with ferocity as he engaged the guards. "Your majesty, I'm here for information on a missing person" Gaius requested. It was a slim hope, asking the king himself, but it was the only one he had. He'd come this far, he wasn't about to turn back now. The king of Rivelle sat in his throne. Tall and well built yet with a gentle face, he was a true representation of royalty. The king cared about each and every one of his subjects, as he always had, and the fact that one of them had come to him for help did not surprise him. Someone requesting something from the king was a daily occurrence, and rejecting their request was, sadly, just as common. More often than not it was somebody asking for money or a home to be built, maybe even a certain family be forced to do something different...but as uncommon as it was, at least those were situations he might be able to do something about. A missing person though..the chances of him being able to assist with that were very slim indeed. However, he still had to try. "What is their name?" he inquired. "Samantha Ryan. She used to work for you, many years ago. There's probably some kind of record of her work, but that isn't what I'm after. I need information on where she was last seen and when" Gaius responded. The king leaned forward slightly as he thought about the name. It was certainly familiar, but he couldn't put a face to it. He couldn't even remember the position that Samantha had held though. He turned to look at the guard to his left. "If you could, I would like all records of Samantha Ryan" he said. The guard took off immediately, running down the hall towards another room. The king looked back at Gaius. "Might I ask your name?" he asked. "Gaius Ryan, your highness" "Gaius, I cannot promise you results. Though the name is familiar, I do not recall from where I have heard it. We hear about missing people every week, and seldom few are ever seen again. There is no guarantee that any information we might have will help you, but I can promise you this; I will do whatever I can to assist with your search, within reason of course" the king said. He saw Gaius nod his head, before hearing the sound of frantic footsteps coming down the hall once again. The guard had returned, holding a small book in his hand. The big mercenary that Oscar and Samuel had been following suddenly had a confused look on his face. "Ice...pack?" he asked, clearly having no idea what was going on. He thought for a moment. Medical attention, ice used to numb things. "Oh!" he exclaimed, reaching down into his pocket and pulling out a small box of band-aids. "You mean bitch stickers!" he said proudly, holding the box out to Samuel. Oscar rolled his eyes. This man had tried to intimidate them before, but he was much too friendly for the stereotypical mercenary. Perhaps the others were like him, that would explain why it was called the happy mountains. Oscar turned his attention away from the man. "You two have fun, I'm going to go for a walk" he started, before being grabbed by the shoulders and pulled back by the cheerful mercenary, who now did not look so cheerful. "I let you in, I did not give you permission to enter. You can have your supplies, you can rest here, but only under my supervision. The last stranger we let in broke several pots, kicked our chickens, and took our things. It's what we get for leaving our doors open all the time to strangers, though we no longer do that. Do not worry though, so long as you keep to the rules you will be fine" the man said, before releasing Oscar, who rubbed his shoulders and had a clearly unimpressed look on his face. "Relax. You are safe with Tom" Tom said, friendly grin on his face, which Oscar found himself wondering how long that would last.
Caleb walked through the town with the others, trying to find some sort of cave. He wasn't just after a cave though, he would have accepted anything that would help them find the hero at that point. However, as much as they wanted to find the hero, they just simply could not find anything that would help them. As Xander said he was going to the castle, he became very eager to assist him. He'd made the decision earlier that he would stop Dane, and knowing how dangerous he is he had allowed Juliet and Audrey to go with the madman. He had put them in danger. If anything were to happen to them he would never be able to forgive himself. "The sooner he is dealt with, the better" he said. The warrior would follow Xander back to the gummi ship and go back to Disney Castle, and then he would confront Dane. "Please, you still think I need your help?" Dane scoffed. As if to demonstrate his point, he held his scythe in front of himself, placing it firmly on the ground and leaning on it slightly. "You know what they say, fight fire with fire" he stated with a slight smirk on his face. Now lifting it up, he swung it in an arc as he used a little bit of magic. As he did so, a small gust of wind appeared and began spinning rapidly, working its way towards a complete tornado. Not finished, Dane then unleashed a dark firaga and fired it straight into the centre of the tornado. The pillar of wind would have normally been unaffected, or so he presumed, but this wasn't the first time Dane had manipulated his own magic to give it other properties. The pillar, with all the debris and twigs and branches in it, caught alight, becoming a flaming pillar of wind. Avi's attack hit this pillar and only added to it, increasing the intensity of the flames that were now going towards him. As Gwen's post rudely made false accusations of her and Hunter's rpers coming to a decision on who was going to win (it was all Gwen's rpers idea, Hunter's had left the decision to her), he allowed himself a smirk. He had won. He knew he'd won. Upon dealing, he had rigged it so he would get the better hand. Yes he'd cheated, but hey it was either he cheated or he lost, and Hunter was a very sore loser. That being said, he still didn't think she would actually go through with it. He watched as the censor bars got smaller and smaller and then finally disappeared, and Hunter figured that was probably what had just happened to any dignity that Gwen may or may not have had. Well, the sight was certainly unexpected. He didn't mind what he saw, in fact he wouldn't mind it if it happened a lot more, but there was no way he was going to admit that. Stroking her ego? Since when did he do that? However, as she asked if she could put her clothes on once again, Hunter gave her a pat on the back. "Nah, not yet. Skimpier the outfit, the higher the tankiness on women, everybody knows that. You're legitimately invincible right now" Hunter said. However, he had cheated and felt just the tiniest shred of guilt. More importantly, if he did something nice maybe she'd be more likely to get naked in the future. One could always hope. He bent down and took off the remainder of his clothing, before standing there proudly. He even removed his censor bar, he was just that confident in himself. "Y'know Ginger, you don't look half bad naked. I've seen worse. Hell, if you weren't standing next to someone as perfect as me I might even find it attractive" he stated. Wait a minute, that was sort of a compliment. Why did he give a compliment? DAMNIT RPER! His ally had been KO'd though, so all attempts to get into the pants of Gwen would have to wait. His enemy had been left open, or at least in Hunter's eyes he had been, so there was no time to spare. Stark naked, he simply ran at Stratos. "The power of nudity compels you!" he cried out, jumping up into the air and latching onto Stratos' back without any clothing on whatsoever. If he was going to take down his enemy, he would have to do it with style, awesomeness, and above all else; a complete lack of defence.
After everything was done, they'd finally completed their objective. They had the pieces, they could perform the spell, and set everything right back in that world. However, just as they were about to cast the spell, Yen Sid had appeared in the doorway. Glen had to restrain himself from asking how the almighty sorcerer had escaped his stoney prison. If the Mickey in that world wasn't the one they were after but was instead him from another time, it was possible that this Yen Sid was also him from a different time. Though, that being said he was still Yen Sid....which meant... "We were practicing our magic in here and it got out of hand, and Mickey was trying to teach us a spell to clean it up. In fact, he was just about to show us it so that we'd know. Speaking of learning though, I have a question for you, mister Yen Sid. I read in a book a while ago that there is a spell someone can only cast if they are truly powerful, that it's a spell that should only be used in the most desperate situations. It turns the user to stone, making them immune to all attacks and time itself, but it never mentioned a way to cure it. Surely nobody could know how it worked without witnessing it themselves, so my question for you is this; How can a spell such as that be undone?" Glen questioned, eager to hear the answer.
A city of life, a city of peace and tranquility. The elven city seemed peaceful enough, and if King Jedediah's attitude was anything to go by, there were few worries. This both pleased Akin and made him very uncomfortable. This city hadn't been taken by the empire, and they had just come from a fully orchestrated assault. Their pursuers would not stop until they had captured the goddess, and so they would never stop, for Akin would never stop protecting people. He had failed once, he would not fail again. Yet, as he thought more on the friendly nature the king had displayed, a wave of guilt overcame the guardian. Had they not gotten out as silently as they had thought, they would have led the empire straight to not only the goddess, but one of the few establishments unaffected by war. "If it isn't too much to ask, King Jedediah, I would prefer to stand guard outside with your soldiers. I wish I could accept your offer of drinks and wine, but I could never forgive myself should something happen to this place because of us" the man said simply, turning around. He made his way roughly to where he recalled them first encountering the guard and stood there, his attention focused on the sounds of his surroundings, waiting for any intruders that may come his way. Some people would say he needed rest, that someone that worked as hard as him had more than earned it, but Akin would rest when every member of the empire lay dead. Especially Ares. As Akin left, Gale followed. He had made sure to bow as best as a Griffon could when in the King's presence, before going after his friend. The creature made his way over to Akin, and took his place beside him. Akin, no danger will come to these people. I will ensure their safety, you may go rest, Gale said telepathically to his friend. He felt the hand of the warrior stroking his head and saw him shake his head. No words had to be said, for Gale had known exactly what Akin would respond with. Gale knew that nothing he said would convince Akin to go and get some sleep; he and his guardian friend had that in common. And so, Gale simply sat lay on the ground next to Akin, and the two protectors stayed there, enjoying the company of the one friend they each had and just daring someone to attempt an assault. Calor ate the food quickly, swallowing the dead animals whole. Once he had finished, he looked at Travis as he left. "Don't get into trouble Travis!" he called out. He then sighed as he looked at the others. "Children and their curiousity will never cease to amaze me. That boy has the attention span of a goldfish, but the heart of a dragon. If he learns to maintain his need to do whatever his foolish mind screams at him to do, he will make a fine king one day. Unfortunately, this does not mean he has rescued any princesses, though if ever we hear of one needing assistance, I can promise you we will help immediately" Calor said, answering the question that Travis had so rudely ignored. The great dragon turned slowly to face the elven city. For a dragon to spend so much time at the city was unheard of really, except for Jedediah's dragon. The gold dragon was a dragon Calor had often found himself looking up to, something he could say about very few creatures. Perhaps one day he would be as powerful and important as the gold dragon, but that day would not come for a while. However, he could not keep dwelling on it or he would never reach it, especially not while these people that had given him food were there. "Have you ever been to Inel'Cinahe? It is a truly spectacular place. King Jedediah would welcome you with open arms I am sure, and there would be many more people that would be willing to pay you a high price for your future hunts than there would be at your small city. It would be a good business investment to get to know merchants wherever you can, I would think" Calor said in a matter-of-fact tone, before stretching and then crouching down slightly. "I should get after Travis. The only thing that matches his bravery is his love for testing it, so he somehow finds himself in more trouble than you would think. I trust I will see you in the city, and if I do not then I hope you travel safely!" the dragon said, before leaping up into the air and spreading his wings, causing a strong gust of wind to sweep through the area. He then flapped them a couple of times and took off, flying to the gate. He would circle the city for a while to ensure no unwelcome people were there, and then go to find Travis, but he would circle quickly; who knew how long it was before Travis picked a fight with someone on some childish dare?
Dane nodded in response to Samsara as he held up his arm. From his arm extended a shield of pure darkness, holding strong against the ice bombs fired from the elemental griffin. "Okay okay, you take down that guy. I'll go grab the other one" he stated, turning his attention towards Avi. Racing over to him, he was about to strike with his shield until the boy fell into the bush. The second his skin touched the bush, he had vanished as though he hadn't been there at all. What sorcery was this? Well, the only way to counter a magical bush was to destroy it entirely, everybody knew that. From his scythe came a dark flame. Not a dark firaga, but more a stream of flames. The flames engulfed the bush, burning it to ashes in mere moments, however Avi was unharmed. What the hell was with that? This guy was interesting to say the least, with all his magical bullshit. "Nowhere to run now" he said, a wicked grin appearing on his face as he lunged forward and swung his scythe at Avi, intending to cut him straight down the middle. Caleb watched as the phoenix had bombs set off all over it. Eventually, it was weakened to the point that the physical exhaustion was evident. It was breathing heavily, sending hot gusts in their direction, and the flapping of its wings were slower. It was all but finished, and Caleb would be the one to finish it. He flew on his keyblade glider high into the air, he hovered above the creature and cracked his knuckles. This was going to take a bit of effort. The swordsman drew upon the reserves of magical energy and every bit he had left in his body. He formed an image in his mind, the dimensions and weight coming naturally to him. From above the phoenix a giant sphere of light appeared, and from that sphere of light emerged a giant greatsword, one that equalled the phoenix itself in length. "I will not falter!" he yelled as the sword plummeted down, stabbing into the great flaming bird and slicing straight through the center of it, cutting the creature clean in half. Caleb then released the magic, causing the weapon to simply vanish as though it had not been there in the first place. After the deed was done, Caleb flew down and landed back on Cite Des Cloches, breathing ridiculously heavily and simply sitting on the ground, the loss of energy easy to see. Hunter was sitting down in his underwear. He was in the most intense battle of his life, in the ultimate showdown of ultimate destiny. Wait, no he wasn't, he was just playing cards. Looking at Gwen with a fierce gaze, Hunter opened his mouth to speak. "Go fish" he said in the most intimidating, serious tone he could muster, causing a gasp to come from the watching crowd. Gwen didn't say anything, and he knew he had won. He maintained that thought pattern until he heard a low mumble of laughter from the audience. He'd been playing Go Fish the entire time, instead of playing texas hold 'em, maybe that's why he wasn't winning. Clearing his throat, he let slip a sly grin on his face. "How 'bout we make this interesting? If I lose this hand, then you get to pick anything from my inventory and take it. Anything at all, and I can't complain about it at all. When I win, because men are superior and will never be beaten by a lowly female, you have to strip down to your underwear so we're on an even playing field. Then we play one more hand, and whoever wins that has to remove their underwear; and the censor bars will be disabled" the man said, the grin never getting smaller the entire time he spoke.
As Glen was waiting for a response, he suddenly got an unexplainable itch on his back. He tried to reach it, but he just couldn't get it. Taking a step back as he like, leaned back to try to reach it, he accidentally bumped into Beuce. All thoughts of the man in the suit as well as the itch vanished immediately. "You know, this conversation seemed interesting but its starting to feel like it's dragging on for days and it's boring the crap out of me. How about we take a trip back to that lake of the women that turn things into gold and see if we can't learn how it's done?" he asked.
