Skadi wasn't entirely comfortable with how things had gone. They'd been accused of being murderers, and while Skadi wished she could deny it, she'd seen the fairies that had suffered and died with Thea's explosion of magic. On top of that, they also had the mouse king's army to deal with again. It wouldn't have been as bad if she hadn't been grouped with Thea. Skadi didn't hate Thea, and she didn't entirely fear her but...there was still that lingering feeling of worry that she might lose control once again. The ice mage wanted to call out to Thea and tell her to just use her magic, that they were in serious trouble if she didn't, but could she do that knowing that feeling of fear that had overtaken her completely just a short while ago? She made the decision. She was scared that Thea would lose control again, but if she didn't use her magic then the battle would be hard fought. The risk was one they had to take, and if Thea was scared of being unable to command her magic properly the chances of her screwing it up only increased. "Thea! Just use your damn magic!" Skadi shouted, reassuring her friend but not quite sure it was the right idea herself. As she did so, she launched a icicle at the first mouse army member listed in their group because there weren't any numbers to distinguish between them. Spoiler: Olympus Coloseum "Challenge accepted!" Hunter exclaimed in response to Gwen's post. He didn't respond to the whole 'it's Beuce you idiot' thing, and why would he? Clearly she wasn't talking to him, for he was not an idiot, and it was rude to interrupt a lady while she is attempting to kill something. However, she had made a remark on the kill count, and at that Hunter allowed himself a sly smirk. "I had more than you in Bloodlust, and unlike you i've actually killed a named npc in this rp. So, you got some catchin' up to do" the man responded. He dodge rolled out of the way of Stratos' attacks, abusing the invincibility frames like an absolute boss, and quickly got to his feet. Normally, he would have tried to attack Stratos, but the information bar specifically said to attack Dante. Not Beuce, no there was no Beuce there. Hunter wondered where he'd gone, what RP he had made his way to. The more he rambled on in his post, the more lengthy it looked, and therefore looked far more impressive and awesome, so ramble he would, on and on and on, until he had gathered enough words to create the illusion of good writing. Had he accomplished that? Not quite, so he continued rambling in his narration. It was rather cool, being able to do this, but it was time he actually did something. He re-equipped his bloody chainsaw, causing it to appear in his hands once more as he started it up. Running at Beuce, he raised it above his head and swung it down at him, sawing straight through the aeroza shield and bringing it down upon the white haired fool. However, as it connected, it bounced back and simply disappeared. For a brief second, Hunter was confused, but then he remembered; there was a rule against killing other peoples' characters. Well, death wasn't an option anymore, that sucked. Using his lustor strength, Hunter stepped forward and slugged a punch in Beuce's direction, hoping to at least get through the aeroza shield once again and maybe do a little damage. Spoiler: Great Forest Abridged Audrey could take no more. Her mother was being beaten right before her, and Alisia wouldn't help. She had to take matters into her own hands, she had to stop Dane herself, she had to become someone far more powerful than her. Audrey had to embrace her destiny, for she was the child of prophecy, the legend passed down from generation to generation. Getting up and stopping her tears, Audrey leaped over and summoned a kingdom key as she flew past her mother, decapitating her in a single stroke and placing the head in a glass case filled with some kind of strange liquid. She turned and looked at Dane. "You'll never seperate us ever again. Now mother and I will become one" the little girl stated. Hurrying over to a small log for dramatic effect, the little girl climbed onto it, pulled the case close to her, and then leapt off of it. What was only about a metre in height felt like it took forever to hit the bottom. Normally, she would have had only a small bruise, but it was somehow enough of an impact to shatter the case. Audrey clutched the head close to her, and then looked up in time to see Dane leaping at her with his scythe raised, attacking out of desperation. Using one hand, the girl held up her keyblade and somehow blocked the strike because logic. She watched as Dane opened his eyes, and saw the shock on his face. For there was no longer a little girl standing there. No, the girl had doubled in size which was just ridiculous, had grown long, silver hair, and now had this sexual aura which caused all women to be drawn to her naturally. However, she was still in her normal clothing, which looked stupid as hell, but the sheer badassery made up for it. To complete the transformation, her keyblade began growing in size and length, becoming abnormally long and changing its appearance to look exactly like the fenrir keyblade. The no-longer-little-girl opened her eyes and looked at Dane, smirking. "Good to see you, Dane" Audreyroth said, knocking her opponent back with her keyblade. Spoiler: Great Forest - Audrey As Audrey was still shouting and crying, Alisia backed off a little bit. She couldn't believe it; she had thought Alisia was her friend, why was she doing this? She was going to try once again, but she felt her arms being restrained. Alisia told her to be safe, and then turned and started leaving. A distraught Audrey began furiously squirming, trying to get out from Samsara's grip. As she saw Bartholomew, she couldn't explain why but her fear only intensified, giving her a huge burst of adrenaline. Trying once more to escape, she succeeded and dove forward, grabbing onto Alisia. Her friend yelled that she couldn't stay any longer, that she had to escape, and through tears Audrey simply refused to let go. "So you are going to run away while she dies? You're going to save yourself instead of her? I thought you were my friend, but you're just as bad as he is!" Audrey screamed as she was pried off of her and found herself grabbed by Samsara once more. Spoiler: Great Forest - Dane and RIP Juliet (kinda lengthy) As the fight progressed, Juliet's body began radiating an aura of both light and dark. Embracing it, she entered a new form; the form she had used when she had wielded the x-blade. It wouldn't last long, and she knew that, but hopefully it would be enough. She took off, much faster than she had been before, and swung her keyblade at Dane, who attempted to block it but whose scythe was dislodged because of the sheer force behind the girl's attack. She then brought both her hands forward and fired a beam of purple and yellow energy, light and dark magic in one. The beam hit Dane, who began yelling out in pain as she continued her assault. She rushed forward and raised her keyblade up above her head, prepared to deliver the killing blow; and that was her mistake. Laying on the ground, Dane was genuinely surprised at Juliet having the advantage, but she'd left herself open. Seeing his opening, he took it, thrusting his hand straight into Juliet's chest. The effect was instant, Juliet staggering backwards slightly as Dane got up. He continued pushing, beginning to extract the excess darkness within her. The girl was weakened, which made her an easy target. Within seconds, her form reverted, unable to sustain itself due to the lack of energy, and Juliet collapsed onto the ground. All the excess darkness was gone; she wouldn't be able to use any magical abilities for a while, but it wasn't enough. No, she had to pay. Continuing the extraction, he began shifting the balance inside of the girl, causing her to scream in pain as the lack of balance her body was so used to was slowly being removed. It would be like nothing else she had ever experienced, no pain could compare to it, and yet Dane continued. She began screaming louder, twisting and writhing around as it went on, all the while Dane's sadistic grin widening further. Eventually, the doom counter hit 0, and suddenly there was no more screaming. Juliet's body turned much darker before turning into complete darkness and simply vanishing, leaving nothing but a black cloud of vapour behind. Standing up, Dane stretched out his arms and yawned. He wasn't tired, rather the opposite; after extracting so much darkness from a person, he felt rather energetic and healthy. "Well, that was anti-climatic. Hey, next time why not make the counter hi-" he started, before realizing only one of the two people he had been interacting with was still there. Alisia had tried to run away again. She'd taken advantage of his bloodthirsty nature and run, even after he made the effort to try and convince her it was a bad idea. Well, the time for games was over, she needed to know the consequences of her actions. He found her in no time at all. She wasn't particularly quick, but he was moving much quicker than normal due to the adrenaline pumping through his veins. Without a word, he grabbed her by the neck and lifted her up into the air, before turning around and walking back to where Audrey was. Audrey was a mess, she was held there by Samsara but the soil around her was damp from all the crying she'd done. Dane threw Alisia onto the ground with no effort made to protect her from harm, ensuring that she would have to look at Audrey. "You see this girl, Slave? This girl trusted you. She sought safety from you, she thought you were her friend, and how did you repay her? You killed her mother. You might think it was me, but whose spell was the one that killed her? You betrayed her, and now you're going to do it again. You think you'll never be like me? You're right, you won't ever be. I'm a fighter, I'm a survivor, I'm the guy who has a choice in the end. I would've given you a little more freedom, maybe made you not kill people so much, but after I was being all nice to you you betrayed me too. So, consequences of your actions, doom her" Dane stated, pointing at Audrey. He waited for a moment, and he saw the hesitation in Alisia. Swiftly, he kicked Alisia in the back, knocking her forward onto the ground. "I gave you an order!" he yelled angrily, his usual half-assed attitude completely gone at that moment. He waited until the doom counter appeared, then watched it tick down until it got to 5 before holding up a hand. "Alright, call it off" he said simply. He needed Audrey alive. If Gexln had used darkness, and Juliet had used light and darkness, there was no telling what Audrey could do. Maybe he could make her something better than either of them had been. Once the doom counter had vanished, he held out his hand to Alisia, trying to look as calm as possible. He waited until she accepted it, then he simply backhanded her across the face and let her fall forward. Kneeling down, he glared at her. "You think that after what you did, that I'm ever going to help you again? I'll keep you alive for now, but that's it. You can be beaten half to death, and I'll let them do it, but the moment they try to kill you I'll stop them. I want to watch you suffer, I'm going to enjoy the pain you experience. Whether Xander's here or not, you're going to pay. Speaking of which, he's a dead man now. Next time I get the chance, I'm going to kill him, and right before I do I'm going to tell him that it's all your fault. That if you'd played nicely, he'd be alive. You thought things were bad when I destroyed your world, you thought your life sucked when you became my slave, but you haven't seen anything yet, Slave. By the time I'm done with you, you'll wish that it had been you that was killed by Doom" Dane hissed, before standing up and walking over to Samsara. "As for you, I'm going to guess by you being back here that you failed, but that's okay. At least you did something useful by keeping that kid under control, and at least you didn't try to stab me in the back. You did well, Samsara" the shadow reaper congratulated.
Spoiler: Hunter? Hunter paused. Was it early enough into the RP to have a dramatic reveal? Probably, but damn he was going to do it anyway. He cleared his throat. "Well, there's a good reason for that, Ginger" he stated. He reached down to his pocket and unzipped it. All at once, plenty of things began falling out, ranging from something as small as a paperclip he was planning to turn into a house, to something as deadly and dangerous as a bazooka. "I have a permit for that, I swear" he said, zipping up the pocket once again. He began pulling every zip he had on his clothing; why were there so many? What was with this game and zippers? At last he found the right one. It was disguised as a strand of hair in the very center of his head. Grabbing it, he pulled it down and unzipped it, and as he did so the costume he had been wearing fell onto the ground around him, and out of it stepped a different Hunter. It was Bloodlust Hunter. Gwen hadn't been the only one to escape the day it died. There Hunter had been, fading away into a dusty archive, when the clouds had parted and Deity Hunter had extended a hand. He had opened his eyes to the wall and taught him everything he knew. Once he'd become a master, Bloodlust Hunter made his way to LVD2 and found LVD2 Hunter being vaporised repeatedly. He'd offered LVD2 Hunter a proposition; let him take his place, and LVD2 Hunter could go on vacation and not have to worry about the rp anymore. Being the lazy turd he was, LVD2 Hunter accepted the offer and the switch was made. "You may now applaud" he stated, giving a mock bow. However, his grand entrance was to be short-lived, as they were teleported away to the next battle. The finals. As Hunter saw their opponent, he let out a small gasp. "Holy crap our final boss is Dante!" he exclaimed. Spoiler: Gexln Gexln had gone to one of the many now-abandoned worlds. He hadn't cared where he'd gone, but he needed to practice. If his fight with Dane had taught him anything, it's that he had gotten a little rusty over the years. He and Liam were sparring with each other, Nobody against Battle Bunny. Liam had transformed his body into a pure white version of Dane, and the two of them were going at one another again and again. Gexln had to fight, he had to win, and he had to become stronger than he ever had before. Lexcifur lived, but he wasn't the same. His son hadn't been the same since that day, since the day he had his heart taken from him and he was lucky to have escaped with his life. He wasn't going to let Xero die, he wasn't going to let another loved one be taken from him, not while he still drew breath. Spoiler: Flashback He could still hear the words that man had spoken as he'd read out Lucifer's sentence. Sentenced to death for the crime of attempting to steal the eternity stone and attempting to murder Sapphire. Gexln knew that it was a serious crime, but to have his old friend kill his only son? Surely there had to be another way. Lock him up for a while, chain him to a post and give him lashings, but murder? No, that wasn't allowed. He wouldn't allow it. Pushing his way through the crowd, Gexln ignored their looks of shock and confusion as he pushed to the front. Sapphire summoned a sword, and instinctively the Nobody leaped forward, summoning his keyblade in his left hand as he swung with all his might against the goddess herself. "Sapphire, you can't do this!" he shouted, his voice a mixture of rage and hurt as his keyblade collided with her sword. She wasn't listening, wasn't stopping. "He's only a kid! What the hell is wrong with you?!" he exclaimed, taking another swing only for it to be blocked once more. She noticed now, looking right at him. "If you intefere any more, you'll be sentenced as well..." she said as she summoned two wolves of darkness, the creatures standing before Sapphire protectively. "Don't make this any harder than it already is...please.." she continued, the hurt obvious in her voice as she spoke. Gexln was shocked. After all they'd been through, after their time fighting alongside one another and saving everyone, she was not only going to kill her son, but threaten to kill him too? Something had changed about Sapphire, and it wasn't a good thing. He did back off, however. It was a stupid fight to pick, attacking Sapphire openly with her creatures there. He backed into the crowd, staying near the front but far enough away he couldn't reach Sapphire from there. "Lucifer Senka, do you have anything to say as your final words?" Sapphire had asked. Gexln had stood there wanting to scream out to Lexcifur. Prove your innocence, tell her there has to be another way, do something! he thought desperately, but his son made no move to defend himself. He saw Sapphire sigh as she raised the sword. Right as Gexln was sure Lexcifur was dead, his son moved out of the way of the sword, causing it to break one of the chains as Lexcifur moved out of the way. A glimmer of hope appeared in Gexln's heart. His son was out, his son could escape. Sapphire questioned what Lexcifur was doing, to which he retorted with a rhetorical response. He'd then used the chain around him to yank the sword out of his attacker's hands. The Nobody of the Dark could stand by and watch no more. He stepped forward, intending to help, but the wolflike creatures weren't going to let him. Gexln fought against them, lashing out at them with his keyblade, but soon enough his attention was caught by a scream. Looking over at Lexcifur, Gexln's eyes widened as he saw his son's arm laying on the ground, seperated from its body. This motivated Gexln to fight harder, his son didn't have much time! Plunging his keyblade right through one of the wolves, it disappeared in a cloud of black vapour. He did the same to the second, dispatching it easily, but before he could do anything more a bright light came from Lexcifur's body. It shone through the area, illuminating everything and causing Gexln's skin to feel a light burning sensation. Once the light subsided, Zavion had stepped in and grabbed Lexcifur, before taking off. Gexln turned and looked at Xero, who seemed to be freaking out. Why hadn't she done anything? Why had she let their son be killed? Gexln wasn't stupid, however, and he decided not to confront her over it. He had fled the area, never looking back, and vowing never again to trust Sapphire. Perhaps it was that day that caused the darkness within his own heart to start growing stronger. The betrayal of a friend had left a hole within the Nobody, and he had filled it with hatred and distrust. And now, because of that, he was struggling to control it. He was brought back to his senses by Liam leaping at Gexln with the scythe, swinging at him. Gritting his teeth, Gexln pushed the creature back. He wasn't going to lose Xero, he wasn't going to lose anything ever again, he would make sure of it.[/center] Spoiler: Dane and Juliet Dane had ignored Lucien almost completely. He had heard his words, and to an extent he agreed with them. But if he killed Juliet, it would seriously piss off Gexln. And if he pissed off Gexln, then just maybe it would set things right in the world. He had stepped right past Juliet and attacked her with a pulse of darkness, extending from the palm of his hand, knocking the girl back. "Relax would ya? I'm a professional" Dane stated. He turned and looked at Alisia. "Monster or not, I want you to use that little doom spell of yours on her. Set it for....I don't know, ten minutes? Yeah, that sounds about right" he said. The murderer waited until he saw the timer appear above Juliet's head, before allowing himself a smirk. This would be fun. Juliet stood up and readied her keyblade. If Dane had fought her father in the past and was still alive, then he was powerful indeed. She would have to take this battle seriously, but she hadn't had much practice fighting actual people for a very long time. She launched a dark firaga at Dane, before hurling her keyblade at him in a strike raid fashion. Dane laughed. Oh, of all things to use, she'd picked that. "Come on, surely you can do better than that" he taunted, guarding against the attacks easily with his scythe. He took a step forward towards Juliet and began channeling his dark magic. From the end of his scythe a dark purple ice crystal flew up into the air, before shattering in mid air and causing ice shards to rain down upon the area. Juliet acted quickly, blocking most of the shards but getting hit by a few of them, the magic digging into her arms. In a flash, Dane was in front of Juliet. He lashed out with a kick, sending the girl rocketing forward and skidding along the ground. The moment Juliet got up, she raced at Dane. The two engaged in close combat, scythe vs keyblade. Despite everything, the girl managed to get a few strikes through, landing several good hits on the shadow reaper and causing him to flinch each time. Dane decided to step things up a little bit as he saw what the doom counter had reached. He attacked with his scythe only to be met with a parry, before he thrusted his hand forward and delivered a point blank dark firaga straight into the girl. The impact sent her once again backwards, but she recovered quickly. Taking him on head on, close like that probably wouldn't work very well. She cast a quick cure on herself, before launching a string of thundaga spells at Dane, who countered it immediately with reflega spells. The two mages began flinging spells at one another, Juliet favouring thunder magic and Dane utilising a combination of reflega and dark thundaga. Eventually, Juliet got the upper hand, and rushed forward, landing a solid blow on Dane's shoulder and creating a deep cut there. Dane didn't like this one bit. He reached forward and grabbed the girl, tossing her into the air. He pointed his scyhte at Juliet and his smirk was even more obvious than before. She'd done exactly as he'd wanted her to. From the end of Dane's scythe came a fireball. It flew towards Juliet, but as it got to her it began rapidly increasing in size and darkening in colour. Upon impact, it engulfed the girl in a tremendous explosion, searing every part of her body and knocking her down. He had used Dark Mega Flare, and damn he had used it effectively. Juliet was down, injured and sore, but still alive. She only had one hope. There was one form of magic she hadn't used for the 300 years she'd been away for, but she didn't have much of a choice; she'd have to use Chaos magic. Spoiler: Audrey Audrey nodded slowly, still terrified as Alisia offered to finish the story. She sat and listened for a moment, finding it very hard to focus on it, when Alisia used Doom on Juliet. "What are you doing?!" she cried out. The tears that were building up started flowing now due to what Alisia had done. "STOP IT! STOP THE SPELL! PLEASE ALISIA!" Audrey screamed, begging her friend to stop the doom counter. Even if someone as scary as Dane had told her to do it, she had still had a choice, still did have a choice. The little girl was crying and screaming out of fear and worry, but would Alisia listen?

Caleb used Blitz! As Skadi sat there crying, Silvia approached her and healed her to the best of her ability. She also apologised for not being able to do more, and at this Skadi shook her head. "That's plenty, thank you Silvia" she said quietly. She was shaking slightly as Silvia hugged her, she wasn't cold in the slightest but all the emotions within her was making it hard for her to concentrate. She turned her head slightly and looked over at Thea. Alisia shouldn't be yelling at her, it wasn't her fault, but the ice mage couldn't find it within herself to go and comfort her. She wanted to, but she was afraid. Thea had brought up memories for Skadi, terrible memories from the night her parents died. Spoiler: Well, didn't see this one coming That night had been the worse of Skadi's life, there was no doubt about that. The fear, the sorrow she'd felt that night, it was absolutely terrible. She didn't remember exactly how it started, all she knew is she'd woken up sweating and panicking after a nightmare. The nightmare had involved her parents death, and given how close she was to them, well it wasn't exactly a pleasant thought. It didn't take her long to realize that she had more to worry about than the nightmare, as she could smell the smoke and see the flames caused by her house being on fire. She remembered running through the home, screaming out her parents' names but not hearing any response, could still vividly hear the sounds of her cries as she feared the worst, and yet she clung to the hope that they had made it out. She'd gone from her room upstairs down to the living room to see if they were there, but there wasn't. All she found there was a woman, a witch adding more fire to the mix and laughing. She knew the woman; she was a criminal, a murderer, Yana Aegrum. The witch turned and saw her, but rather than attack her, she walked up to the girl and started cackling uncontrollably in front of her face. Filled with fright, a young Skadi Wynter began sprinting away as fast as her little legs would carry her, up the stairs which looked as though they could give way at any moment, the cackling simply echoing in her mind and causing her to move faster. She made her way to the window in the bathroom. Yana wasn't following her, but Skadi could easily hear her yelling things up the staircase, telling her all about how her parents were dead and soon she would be too, before letting loose that wicked laugh once again. It wasn't true though, her parents were dead, they couldn't be. They got out, they had to have. Squeezing through the window, Skadi leaped from the top floor and fell down to the ground below, screaming and having tears flowing down her face as she landed. Both her legs had broken from the impact on her frail body, but as people crowded around Skadi, she began wailing even louder, but not for the pain. While the people there were hugging her and telling her everything was okay, she knew immediately that everything was most certainly not okay. Her parents weren't there, they were dead. They weren't far away though, and she could see that easily. She saw the charred bodies in the window near the front door, so close yet so far from where she was. What she guessed to be her mother's body was leaning against the window, arm stretched out desperately as though it were trying to reach her, and next to it was Yana Aegrum, holding her father's body and moving it around as though it was some sick, twisted puppet show. After that, she had stayed with her aunt, who lived in a home not too far from her old house. For a long time she had been depressed, for a time even longer than that she had been deeply traumatised because of it, but eventually with the help of Caleb and Gaius, she had overcome it. She'd all but forgotten it, knowing her parents had died but not remembering the specifics of it. That was, until Yana had come back. She had stirred up the memories, caused Skadi to re-live the sorrow she had felt but still not remembering every little detail. However, the flames that Thea had made...the speed at which joy had turned into fear, it had brought it back immediately. "Silvia...how can one person cause so much pain?" Skadi asked quietly. She would have sat there a while longer, waiting until she was emotionally stable, but the nutcracker mentioned it was no longer safe. As much as Skadi had loved her parents, she wasn't about to throw away her life to go be reunited with them, though there was always a voice in the back of her mind saying that it would be best for her. Standing up, the girl began walking away from the area, hoping to leave the memories behind with the melted snow.
As the man in white held out the notes for the party to see, Glen thought about why the notes were so important to them. There was the obvious they'd promised Mickey, but was there more behind that? The keyblade wielder thought of his homeworld, of the loss of his father, and then how he had reacted, thought of the reveal of Karina's past, the fact she too had no home to return to. As bitchy as Karina was, he didn't think anybody deserved that kind of pain. Stopping Vanitas and his allies was essential, and it wasn't going to happen without the book, which they needed Mickey for. "Those notes are essential for a better future, so yes, they are that important to me" he replied to the man at last.
Skadi was laughing and very much enjoying herself, extremely happy at that moment in the midst of their snowball fight. She couldn't remember the last time she had enjoyed herself this much, couldn't remember the last time she had smiled so much. However, that happiness was not to last. Thea was enjoying herself, but soon enough her fire magic got out of control, and immediately the area around became engulfed in flames. As the snow melted rapidly, so did Skadi's happiness. The snow, one of the few things that could get a genuine smile out of her, started vanishing, turning into liquid immediately and beginning to evaporate. Frantically, Skadi began using her magic. Hyperventilating, the girl began firing ice shard after ice shard at the fire in a futile attempt to put it out. Her magical power wasn't strong enough to douse Thea's entirely though, and soon enough the flames had gotten rid of most of the snow. Panicking now, tears began to well up in her eyes and slowly make her way down her cheeks as the girl knelt down on the ground in a stronger effort to put the flames out. Flames licked her arms, dancing up them and causing a searing pain to go throughout Skadi's body, but she would not stop. She began yelling now, screaming for Thea to stop, but to no avail; all the snow vanished. A few moments later, the fire was completely gone, but so, too, had the snow around, and with it Skadi's joy. She simply sat there, stunned. Despite the physical pain that she was going through, the emotional pain was far worse. She knew Thea hadn't done it intentionally, she knew that she had difficulty controlling her magic, and this lessened the blow slightly, but it was still very much there. The burns would heal, but they would never completely heal; the burns were far too severe, but Skadi could care less about it. She simply sat there, sobbing in the pool that had once been the snow she loved so much, unable to say or do anything.
Spoiler: Great Forest - Dane's part As Dane wandered over to Alisia, he stopped next to Samsara. He would have normally laughed at her for the fact that it seemed Alisia had developed a spine and told her off, but surprisingly there was something that interested him more than making fun of somebody. The crystal that Samsara had shown, he'd seen it before. "Where did you get that?" he asked. He didn't even wait for a response, continuing to speak. "Oh dang, how did I not see it before? Your old appearance, the angry looks, the outright bitch, you're her kid aren't you!" Dane exclaimed, genuinely surprised. He was referring to Ananta of course. A couple of hundred years before, he'd stumbled across a world full of people like Anadi, people that had those crystals, and he'd tried to destroy it. He'd failed, purely because of Ananta's bullshittery, but he hadn't been nearly as strong as he was presently, and he'd also just gotten back from destroying another world. Still, he'd always been meaning to go back there and finish the job, but maybe now he didn't have to. He opened a dark corridor. "Samsara, I'll admit I've been lying about teaching you so far. It's kinda funny how gullible you are sometimes, you know that? But I'll be completely serious with you here; if you go through that corridor to that world, and kill the green haired woman that seems to run the place, I'll teach you my most powerful spell; the one I use to destroy entire worlds" Dane said, giving his proposition to Samsara. He figured he should probably try to calm Alisia a little. She claimed to be defenseless, and in a sense she was, but there was no stopping her from dooming him and running around other people; in fact he was surprised she hadn't done it already. He walked back over to Alisia and sat down on a conveniently placed log and motioned for her to take a seat next to it. "It's okay, I don't bite. Besides, if you're standing up all the time how will I get you to do other things?" he asked, being nice in his own way. He sighed. If there was one thing he hated, it was having to be nice to people. But when you had someone with the ability to kill you outright, well there wasn't much of an option. "You hate me, that much is obvious. I can't blame you, I hate me too. I'm an *******, but It's just so much fun. You think you know all about me though don't ya, think you know exactly how my mind works. I don't just kill for the fun of it, Alisia. Believe it or not, I don't enjoy it as much as I claim. Don't get me wrong, I love it, but there's a reason behind it. It all stems back to my mother, you see. Yeah yeah, laugh all you want, big evil murderer has mommy issues" Dane said, beginning his explanation. "I wasn't always as fantastic, as powerful, or as destructive as I am, kid. True, I was born like this, but there was a time that I wasn't as into it as you might think. As a child, I was always trying to cause pain, always causing suffering, just like I am now. And then I met her. One girl, out of everyone else in my homeworld, dared to approach me. She didn't see me as this raging lunatic, she only saw me as a scared and lonely little boy who didn't know any better" the shadow reaper said casually, as though he'd told it a thousand times before. "Her and I, we got to know each other good. Really good. My mother? She didn't like it, not one bit. She pretended to get to know the girl, then she tortured her beyond what your tiny brain can possibly imagine. And she made me watch. The girl, she called out to me, not telling me to save her, but rather not to. She would rather die and have me not give into my natural instincts, than save her and embrace the darkness that flowed through my veins" Dane stated, his face looking for once incredibly serious. "So I did. I stood there and watched, and dear old mummy didn't like that at all. She killed her, right there and then. Kinda did me a favour, too. You see, that girl had created a small spark of light in me. Tiny, microscopic, but it was there, burning me all the same. Someone like me, they can't have any light in them, or it burns, so when she died the light went with her. Now, I should've thanked her, right? Wrong. The light might have gone, but the bit of restraint preventing me from taking my revenge went with it" "I know what you're thinking. That's when I killed her. Ha, you really don't know me. Why would I do that? Nah, I didn't kill her. I attacked her, beat the living **** out of her, yeah, but she lived. I wanted her, I still want her, to live. I chained her up and gagged her, put a drip pumping the things she needs into her veins, and left her. She's going to stay there while I go around and murder everybody" Dane said, smirk no longer barely visible but blatantly obvious. "She would've wanted me to murder everyone, yeah? So, I'm doing it. But I'm not just murdering them, I destroy their world's core after it, finishing off the entire world in one hit. I've done it a heap now, and I'll do it again. World after world, until there's only one left; mine. I'll go back there, I'll kill everybody on that world, and then mother's going to move. She'll be put next to the world core, and I'm going to use every single bit of darkness in me, every negative emotion you can think of, and use it in one single, final attack, obliterating the world core, my mother's hopes and dreams, her mind and body, and myself as well" he spoke, now standing up. "So you see, my little slave, I might do horrible things, I might be a real ass, but there is a reason behind it. Hate me all you like, but once I was just a scared little kid, just like you are right now. Next time anybody threatens you, doom them and kill them, because if you don't fight back, you're going to be used for your entire life and you'll never get anywhere. I'm your master, you're my slave, but that doesn't mean that I want you to be sad. Sad people give in easier and die, and can't have that can we?" Dane asked with a slight chuckle. Spoiler: Great Forest - Juliet, Dane, and Audrey Juliet had remained as quiet as she could this entire time, making sure that Audrey was safe the entire time, but after hearing Dane speak of murder and trying to pin the blame on his mother, she could take it no longer. Turning around, she motioned for Audrey to stay there. "Relax and just wait here. I'll go talk to him, and I'll get him to stop" she said, ruffling Audrey's hair a little as she spoke. "I was there when Chaos went down, remember? He'll be easy" Juliet said with a small smile, reassuring her daughter. She then turned around and stormed over to Dane. "Hey! You think just because your mother treated you horribly that you can justify killing everything and everyone? The hell is wrong with you?" she asked. Dane raised an eyebrow. "How much time do you have?" he asked. This only annoyed Juliet even more. "And now you try to joke about it? You're seriously messed up" "And who are you to call me messed up? You brought your child to war" "My name's Juliet Senka. I brought my child here to keep her safe, safe from lunatic murderers. Although I can clearly see that it wasn't the best idea, given that one of them is standing before me right now" At this, Dane turned to look at Alisia. "See? She gets it" he said. The name she'd given sounded familiar. Where had he heard it? Senka...senka....ah! "You're Gexln's kid!" he exclaimed. Juliet froze. "How do you know my father?" Dane allowed himself a smirk. "I'm the guy that gave him his darkness, and I'm the guy that's going to take it away. Right when I kill him, that is" Dane stated. In a flash, Juliet's keyblade was summoned and at her side. "You'll have to go through me first" she challenged. Audrey was scared. Her mother had left her and gone to confront Dane, and that thought was terrifying. Audrey hadn't seen him fight, but she knew that he liked killing, and she knew that he was capable of fighting; the man he'd killed had looked pretty tough. The little girl sat there, whimpering slightly a distance away, worried sick for her mother, for she believed that Dane was going to kill her, and that only made things much worse. Audrey felt very much alone. Spoiler: Cite Des Cloches - Caleb After their efforts to attack Crybex failed, Caleb found himself held near the others in a binding spell. Crybex then proceeded to give a speech about keyblades and how he wasn't going to kill them right at that moment, but instead would follow them around always threatening to kill them. That didn't sit right with Caleb, nor could he think of any reason why it would. "I have a better idea. How about we send you to whatever hell hole you came out of instead?" Caleb asked. He held out his hand, and rather than the usual light glow around his hand, one of darkness began flowing around it. Surely this would get Crybex's attention, and stop the others from being hurt. Once the darkness had vanished, a new weapon was in his hand. It was Gexln's blade, Darkness' Sorrow; a weapon that had the element of darkness. A weapon such as that would surely have an impact on their opponent. Keeping this in mind, Caleb leaped at Crybex and lashed out at him with the blade. Spoiler: Olympus - Hunter As Snow started hitting on Gwen, Hunter began preparing his assault. He planned out every possible outcome of the battle, and there was only one way he could win. Losing was not an option, not after he'd tried to hijack Hunter's gir- *****. Hunter's *****. That's what it says there, nothing else. After Gwen had done her turn, Hunter sprang into action. He and Snow began trading hits, punching and kicking each other in the most epic action fight scene ever. "Leaping Gerbil punch!" "Steel guard!" "Crouching Alligator slam!" "Steel guard!" "Overpowered Rabbit Crotch-jab!" "Steel gua- OOF" Snow shouted out, before be crouched over in pain after having his manhood assaulted. It was now or never. Hunter had one chance, and one chance alone to end this. "SPINNING DODO KICK!" he yelled. Snow prepared for a kick to the head, and ducked down a little lower. Pulling out a chainsaw from his inventory, Hunter started it up and brought it down on top of Snow. "Steel- THAT ISN'T A KICK" was all Snow got out before he was cut in half. Stupid Snow, he should have known that wasn't a real move. Everything related to dodos had died with them, and what kind of a move name was Spinning Dodo Kick? Talk about obvious. "And that's what you get for hittin' on Ginger" Hunter shouted, before spitting on his corpse.
Oscar nodded in response to Samuel. "It doesn't matter who they send after us. I've seen some of their best soldiers, and they aren't anything special for the most part. I should be able to handle whatever they throw at us, and even if I can't, we've just got to make it to Moredoor right? Get there, circle round to Corvus, explain things to the king, then we'll be free as birds" Oscar said, walking along the path. "Don't worry about things, Samuel, your big brother's got it covered" he added reassuringly. He wasn't entirely convinced they were okay himself, but he had to act as though they were. He knew his brother well enough that he had a bit of a hunch that he wasn't as calm as he looked, and telling him the truth of the matter wouldn't help in the slightest. If they made it to the Happy Mountains, which wasn't difficult given how close to Sharox it was, they could get more supplies for the road ahead, maybe even convince somebody there to help them. It was their best hope, and at this point probably their only one. As Vex prepared to take another swing at Precious, to try and dislodge his grip on Xera, he felt all the magic in his body simply stop. Coincidentally, that was at the same time that another man walked in and claimed to be the leader of the rebellion. Vex was sure the two were related, so was Precious apparently. After Precious and Eldridge had left, Vex glanced towards Xera to make sure she was alright. She wasn't acting any different to usual, but after the way their enemy had been strangling her, there wasn't much doubt that she'd been affected. "Never seen you let yourself get caught like that either, I guess this day's full of surprises" Vex said in a fairly neutral tone. As Kari asked why they were fighting Precious, Vex began to walk out of the bar. "Same thing that's been happening for the last week, people thinking I'm the leader of some mass rebellion and trying to bring me in. Kinda gotten used to it by now, but people don't usually take the blame for me" Vex stated. It was strange that someone else had claimed to be the leader, especially given the crime for plotting such a thing. It would probably end up in the man getting killed. He'd die a hero, death in glory and all that crap. An idea formed in his mind. "Xera, that guy claimed to be the leader of the rebellion, but both of us know that's a lie. I've got two questions for you, but only the answer to one of them means much. What do you think of actually startin' up the rebellion people have been accusing me of starting?" the man asked, simply standing in the doorway now. That was the less important question; Vex had already made his decision. Now for the more important one. "And how well do you know the castle? Cause we're going to break a guy out of prison" Vex said with a smirk, already walking out and following Eldridge, having an idea of what Xera's answer would be.
After contemplating an evil plan yesterday, I discovered a way to achieve true domination. I will make your ears bleed, and sing so terribly that you will be forced to yield. The only way to stop me from ever singing Reflection again is to give me 1 crown and 450 munny, and only that! You have one week to make your decision.
After Glen's spectacular accident with his fireball explosion thing, he felt he couldn't go wrong with his spells; if even a failure turned into a success, he would quickly become the best mage of them all! Pointing his keyblade at the physical immune demon, he aimed like a professional marksman and fired. It missed. Well, that sucked, it turned out Karina was a better mage than him even while she wasn't conscious, and that was just embarassing. However, it did explode as it reached the end of its range, doing some damage to the demon.. (Physical Immune) Black Demon: 34/500
Caleb took the hit reasonably well, angling his body so that the magical flying boomerang sword of death barely scratched him. Thomas, however, hadn't taken the hit so well. Apparently, Thomas understood how a sword could come back like that even less than Caleb did; pretty impressive given it made no sense whatsoever. "Don't just stand there staring, we have people to save" Caleb called out. Taking a step back, Caleb spun around and hurled a potion at Thomas with full force, hoping to heal him and get him back on his feet but part of him honestly wanted to see the guy fall out of the tree and maybe knock some of that ego off of him. Skadi found herself feeling exceptionally happy once she had progressed through the mouse hole. It was snow, and lots of it. Skadi loved snow, she always had, she just didn't see it very often. So, the moment it was suggested that they dance for the fairies to help them get out, Skadi felt the need to join in. She began twirling and dancing, very much enjoying the moment. There was a small part of her that was wondering how Clara had figured that dancing was the way to get the fairies to help, but that part of her was overriden by the part that was having fun. After a few minutes of dancing, she stopped, making a small snowball and tossing it at Thea playfully. It was then she noticed that Mizuki hadn't joined in on the dancing, in fact she had just plain refused to do it. Making a big ball of snow, Skadi threw it at Mizuki, causing it to hit the girl as Skadi laughed a little bit. "Oh lighten up Mizuki, just enjoy it and we'll be fine"
