Akin simply walked along with the others. He listened for the footsteps, waiting until enough people had passed that most had gone past him, and then he gestured for Gale to follow. The guardian saw no point in a blind man leading the group, and he didn't want to be right at the back, but he had heard what Eon had said, and if the goddess was to be carried at the back of the group, then he would be one of the people to help protect her. The man said nothing, keeping his wits about him and trying to be aware of the noises surrounding him. It would be hard to pick sounds of ambushers among the group that he was with, but if he'd managed to differentiate between allies and enemies outside, he was sure he could do it inside. Banner coming soon I swear As Calor heard Travis' words, the great dragon let out a sigh, causing a puff of smoke to appear before them. He shouldn't be surprised by Travis' actions at this point, but somehow he always thought that the elf's common sense was one day going to kick in. He knew that Travis had no fear, but fearlessness did not mean that every instinct told him it was a brilliant idea to leap out of the sky into a lake; that was just his pact partner's personality. Flying down expertly so that he didn't drop the bow and arrows, he landed nearby his elf friend as he climbed out of the water, and upon seeing the others, Calor instinctively shifted his position so that he was between Travis and the newcomers. You are just a fledgeling at one hundred years, Travis. You are only a tenth of my age, and if you keep pulling acts like that you won't live to make it to that, Calor spoke to Travis, using the mental link forged between pact partners. Turning his attention towards the newcomers once more, Calor decided to address them. "We protect these parts, keeping them safe from all who would wish them harm, welcoming people that come peacefully and eating those that do not. What town are you from? I've never seen you before, and I have been around here for many years" Calor asked, his tone a little protective but not overly aggressive.
Glen's post was nowhere near as dramatic as Karina's. Upon seeing Karina pass out, the boy didn't know what to think. Was she really that bad in magic, or had the black demon secretly cast some kind of death magic? No no, she was still breathing...was magic really that hard? Holding his keyblade forward, he shrugged off the thought and prepared to cast a spell. He focused on the image of the fireball, the feeling of it flying through the air, and then he channeled his magic and cast a spell! And a puff of smoke was all that came from the end of it. Looking at his keyblade with a confused look on his face, Glen shook it a few times. No dice, it was busted. Maybe it took some kind of dramatic event, some kind of adrenaline rush or something. Running straight at the black demon, the keyblade warrior raised his keyblade and pointed it at the demon point blank range. "FIRA!" he screamed, but nothing happened. "GOD DAMNIT YOU STUPID KEY" he shouted angrily, hurling his keyblade at the ground. As he did so, it unleashed a mighty fireball that exploded in the area around it, knocking Glen off of his feet and away from the demon. (Physical Immune) Black Demon: 107/500
In a completely boring and non-creative post, Glen struck the final blow and ended the existence of the creature formerly known as the Blue Demon. It really chose the wrong group to mess with, behold the might of spam. (Magical Immune) Blue Demon: 0/500 (Physical Immune) Black Demon: 205/500
"Oh, so I should be equipping other abilities instead. Right. Well, I would do that, but..." he said as his body became engulfed in a golden glow. Floating up into the air, the sheer aura of power radiating from Glen caused debris that I swear had been there all along to start being pushed away, shaking on the ground as it went as though there was some kind of earthquake. "Then I can't do this!" he shouted, before flying down towards the Blue Demon, rocketing into it with the force of a great typhoon. On impact, time seemed to slow down, and the demon fell down onto the ground and began flashing yellow; Glen had triggered its stagger gauge, and damn was it a hard-to-get one. "Hey! That's cheating! How did you get more CG than I did?" Glen asked, genuinely shocked. Just a little more and he'd have it. Releasing a flurry of attacks, Glen attacked with all his might, filling the remainder of his CG gauge and enabling the use of a single, powerful, victory-ensuring limit. Right as Glen was making progress, Stratos dashed through all ninja-esque, making even more progress. Damn, teamwork sure was a powerful thing, why hadn't he tried it before? Ah, of course, because that would require getting along with everyone; something he didn't do particularly well. "I don't have anything nearly as flashy as that....unless..." Glen said, voice trailing off. Maybe he did have a super flashy move, but first he needed CG. Thankfully, he almost had enough! Using the power of the warrior, he delivered a single, powerful strike to the blue demon. (Magical Immune) Blue Demon: 140/500 (Physical Immune) Black Demon: 227/500
Continuing the steady flow of attacks, Glen swung his keyblade faster and faster, before parrying one of the Demon's attacks. He then responded with his own attack, but the demon actually had the sense to move out of the way. That was new, he'd never seen an enemy do that before. But why fix what wasn't broken? This was the attitude he went with as he struck once more. (Magical Immune) Blue Demon: 187/500 (Physical Immune) Black Demon: 227/500
With a three strike combo attack, Glen pounded the absolute crap out of the demon before him, each hit impacting the heartless/creature/thing harder and harder. There was no stopping, there wasn't enough room for error to hold back, so those things were going to have to outright die. AND DIE THEY WOULD! (Magical Immune) Blue Demon: 211/500 (Physical Immune) Black Demon: 250/500
As Glen watched the fireballs sail past him and bombard the other demon, he couldn't help but think of it as spectacular. In a world where music seemed to be a huge thing, fireworks just went with it naturally, and that was awesome. Attempting to help with the fireworks, he pointed his keyblade at the black demon and yelled out "fira!", before a single ball of flame was shot at the demon. However, Glen had the other to deal with too, so he turned his attention back to that one and swung for all his might. (Magic Immune) Blue Demon: 235/500 (Physical Immune) Black Demon: 295/500
Glen stood there, stunned for a moment. Was that Kaida that had just attacked? All he'd seen was a blur of movement, moving faster than the speed of sound....that couldn't have been Kaida, when had she surpassed him in speed? Shaking the thought off, Glen ducked underneath the attack from the Blue Demon, before flipping over and kicking it as his legs came over, then lunging forward and stabbing the creature with his keyblade. (Magic Immune) Blue Demon: 246/500 (Physical Immune) Black Demon: 330/500
So, it appeared Stratos was now also trying to do some flashy crap with his own physical barrage. That just wasn't allowed. Glen had been inactive for the most part in the battle of a thousand heartless, and damnit he was going to be useful this time! Keeping this in mind, the keyslinger whacked the demon full force, knocking it back once more. (Magic Immune) Blue Demon: 292/500 (Physical Immune) Black Demon: 353/500
Not wanting to be outdone by Karina, Glen stepped up his attack pattern. Acting faster and hitting harder, the boy began raining blow after blow with his keyblade as he struck the blue demon, parrying the attacks as they came at him and counter-attacking. In his eagerness he got scratched by the thin, razor sharp claws, drawing a little blood on his cheek, but he did not stop, continuing his assault. (Magic Immune) Blue Demon: 339/500 (Physical Immune) Black Demon: 377/500
Glen was becoming better at anticipating the demon's attacks, now swiftly dodging them as they retaliated and responding with his own strike. If he kept at this pace and nothing stupid happened, then they would surely fall quickly without too much fuss. (Magic Immune) Blue Demon: 389/500 (physical immune) Black Demon: 377/500
"Thanks" was all Glen said in response to Base saving him. He had to make sure to not be so careless and leave himself open. One wrong move here and it was all over for him, and that would suck. Carefully he approached the demon that was immune to magic. "Oh I don't know about that, Base. I mean, so long as he's watching them it doesn't really matter what part of them he's looking at, does it?" he asked, slashing at the demon once again. As it went for a counter-attack, Glen parried with his sword, before striking it once more and then jumping back, giving a bit of space between it and him. (Magic Immune) Blue Demon: 403/500 (Physical Immune) Black Demon: 411/500
As Stratos told them of the weaknesses, Glen began formulating a plan. After a few moments, he had it. His brilliant strategy, his monumental plan that would enable victory; hit the things until they died. It was a stroke of genius to be sure, all it took now was execution. Leaping forward, Glen struck the Blue Demon with a fantastic display of force, before his sword started glowing a dark shade of purple. Quickly, Glen took advantage of this and slammed his weapon into the Blue Demon once more, using Poison Edge on it. (Magic Immune) Blue Demon: 451/500 (Physical Immune) Black Demon: 458/500
Caleb was shocked at Crybex's lack of attempts to defend himself, but even moreso when he seemingly vanished. Surely he hadn't gone down so easily, this had to be some kind of trick. Sure enough, it was, indicated by Zavion attacking him. As Crybex was revealed for a split second, Caleb swiftly summoned a regular blade and flung it straight at him, the blade soaring through the air at the target. If Crybex was going to play this game, they had to end him quickly. As he ran forward, he readied his swords and hurried towards Zavion. He wasn't sure why the boy was able to see their opponent, and quite honestly he didn't care so long as it got the job done, but if there was some way he could tell them where Crybex was hiding then by Sapphire he was going to use it. Dane raised an eyebrow. "You know, I'm hearing a lot of excuses, not a lot of things getting done. Ah well, a promise is a promise. Okay, in order to teach you one of the most powerful techniques I know, I'm going to need three things. I need a dead rabbit, I'll need three logs, and...." he wondered, thinking of the third thing. An idea formed in his head. "You remember that guy that calls himself Beuce? I need that guy's arm" he stated, walking alongside Samsara who was now carrying Alisia. That ought to buy him some time, and it would surely be funny. As the undead fell, Hunter considered striking a victory pose, but right as he was about to he felt physical pain inside of his heart. He fell forward, clutching his chest. Not just one, but several Hunters were all killed..by him. The only thing Hunter feared...Deity Hunter. He had betrayed them all, killed their kind. He would pay, but first Hunter had some experience to get. If he levelled up enough, then there was a chance he could critically strike and 1 shot Deity Hunter. He pushed past Gwen as more enemies spawned. "Outta my way Ginger, I have some clones to avenge" he stated, somewhat grimly. He looked at his opponents for the semi final round. They were spirits of fallen RP characters. There was Karina, from LVD1, Unibertha the bipedal behemoth, from SOS, and lastly there was Snow Villiers, who had migrated from Rienzel's Fate RP just to fight in this one battle. Readying his blade, he ran at Karina. If she even poked them once, they were all dead;he knew that Karina had gotten so strong she had punched the strength cap and broken that too, so her power was quite literally infinite. Thankfully, speed stat was still a thing, so as Hunter reached her he swung his blade at her quickly, cleaving her in half much the same way she had to Kross that one time in SOS.
Equipping absorption for Hunter
This was ridiculous. There was talking unicorns, a magician with the power to turn people to stone, talking barbie dolls and now Thomas was in love with a jar of dirt. He sighed to himself. He wasn't much of an alcoholic, in fact he rarely ever drank, but he felt like he needed one. In response to Thomas, he hung his head in sadness momentarily. "Why is the rum always gone?" he asked, sighing once more. He readied his blade and then attacked Ken, determined to not make this post filler as he used Quick Blitz. Caleb used Blitz on Ken!
Spoiler: Cite - Not a short post, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED "Perhaps another could prove to you what true justice entails. I summon thee, Hunter." It was these words that had an undesired effect. For you see, Crybex did not specify which Hunter, and so the multiverse could only assume. As he spoke the words, the clouds above parted and a single beam of light appeared. From that beam of light came several figures, descending slowly from the sky. There was Final Fantasy Hunter, who had just finished defeating the final boss of his respective game, there was Black Mage Hunter, who had just gotten a pentakill and destroyed the enemy's nexus, Australian Hunter, who had just gone on a mass murder spree ending the lives of many kangaroos in a semi-trailer truck, then of course Chef Hunter was there too, for every dramatic scene needed food and refreshments. Any great defence needed someone to ensure things were in order, and so Officer Hunter was descending aswell, followed closely by Crybex's only hope; Lawyer Hunter. Slowly, these Hunters of legend descended from the sky as a chorus of angels sung announcing their presence. Then, halfway down, they realized who they were singing for, and the beam vanished, causing each of them to fall on the ground with a loud thud just in front of Crybex. All at once, the Hunters stood up, but the summoning was not complete. Officer Hunter cleared his throat not once but twice, for he knew that something was not right. On cue immediately, the area immediately around them turned into something different. A courtroom appeared around everybody, with Officer Hunter on one side of the defence and Lawyer Hunter on the other. And yet they needed a judge, so with a puff of smoke and a quick "what the actual fuck" Judge Hunter appeared in...well, the judge's seat. Judge Hunter slammed the gavel down, demanding order in the court, or at least as much order as they could possibly have. "We are here to determine whether or not the...the...the light fanatic guy is guilty of killing all those people. Wait....you say he already killed them? AND WE MISSED IT?! I SENTENCE HIM TO DEATH!" Judge Hunter shouted. That would have been the end of that, were it not for one person in particular. "OBJECTION!" Lawyer Hunter cried, pointing straight at Officer Hunter, who had a confused look on his face. "You can't object to the judge's verdict!" "Objection! I can object to whatever I like!" "I make the rules here, you just try to make it sound like your client is innocent!" "Objection! We make the rules, you just make it sound like you know what you're talking about!" "I have made my decision. He killed without us, so he must be killed!" "Objection! He's never without us, not as long as we think about each other, for we are all together inside our....where is kingdom hearts us?" "That doesn't matter, we're doing this trial without hi-" "OBJECTI-" Lawyer Hunter began, before being cut off. "ENOUGH WITH YOUR DAMN OBJECTIONS, I'LL OVERLOOK IT FOR THE MOMENT OKAY? NOW CONTINUE WITH YOUR DAMNED DEFENCE" Lawyer Hunter took a deep breath. His ploy had worked. Don't get him wrong, he loved using that word, but it had actually had a purpose. Don't give me that look, I'm being serious here. "My client here is guilty. We know that for a fact, these beautiful piles of ashes speak volumes about how guilty he is, so I ain't even gonna try to defend that. But killing isn't illegal, at least it shouldn't be. Killing is a work of art, a thing of beauty. Seriously, we've all killed someone at some point in our lives haven't we?" Lawyer Hunter asked, causing a widespread giggle to go throughout the participants. "Bloody oath I've killed people. I murder the lil' buggers and chuck 'em on the barbie with me kangaroos, then I eat the lot of 'em" Australian Hunter responded. "If I don't kill people, how else will I get my ingredients?" "When people enter a RP illegally, that's breakin' the law, so I have to kill them. It's my duty as an enforcer of the law" "How else am I meant to get AP?" "Well yeah, I'm an adventurer, I have to complete my quests. If something exists, somebody probably wants it dead" "I suppose I do sentence people to death a lot.." "My point exactly. Death is a way of life, if you don't kill people there's something wrong with you. Myself? I'm just a sick ******* who finds the screams of orphaned children burning arousing, but what normal person does not? You see, my handsome and absolutely awesome brothers, there are people in this rp and many others that are just plain stupid, and lets be real here, when was the last time you met an intelligent NPC? Those people that got lasered? They just stood there, doing nothing because they dont' have someone rping them. They were just a waste of space, doing nothing but taking up our time" Lawyer Hunter said, making an expert defence. He would have continued too, but time was running short; their summon gauge was almost out. "was that supposed to be a short joke?!" Black Mage Hunter exclaimed, clearly outraged. Yes, yes it was. But you can't do anything about it, because the summon gauge is completely empty. "Damnit Crybex, y u no level summon?!" Lawyer Hunter asked as the courtroom vanished. The beam of light came from the heavens once more, but this time it was red. The red beam hit the Hunters immediately, but rather than sucking them up as was initially planned, their roleplayer decided it was far more amusing to have them all vaporised by the beam, all becoming engulfed by the searing laser and dying instantly, only adding to the ash piles of the NPCS. Once the beam had vanished, a small sign flew out from the clouds, thrown by the almighty Deity Hunter himself. The sign stabbed into the ground, landing right in front of Caleb. Then multiple signs followed the same procedure, landing in front of each of the people fighting Crybex. The sign said five simple, easy to read words; Crybex made me do it.
You should be saying sorry for lying, for I hear no horribleness in this recording.
