Sora nodded once, knowing that luck had nothing to do with this. Smith was very dark, and he had powers that could manipulate if they could find him or not. Sora knew that, must likely, he and Roxas wouldn't find Smith unless he wanted to be found. Namine already had her eyes on Roxas, so she met his eyes when he looked at her. She felt as if her eyes expressed the words she couldn't say, such as, Be careful, or, I love you. He already knew those things, because unfortunately, they had to go through this same goodbye yesterday.
xP Yeah...it pretty much rocks. Oh, and want to do a time gap in the RP? The girls and Riku in Kairi's backyard, Smith attacks, and takes the girls?
Sora nodded, his hands in light fists by his sides. "Then let's head out," he said, starting towards the doorway where three of his friends stood. Tracking Smith down wasn't going to be an easy feat, but he and Roxas were determined to track him down before he caused any mayhem. Surely that determination would help them.
Oh well, it was worth it. xD This plot is seriously AMAZING. If I wasn't doing it in a fic, I would say we should do it in the RP. ;3
Sora glanced at Kairi once more when he felt her gaze on him, but if he allowed his gaze to linger on her, then he would never leave. He looked to Roxas, his eyes finding a pair identical to his own. "Ready?" he asked. They had work to do, and neither of them would rest until they found Smith and defeated him.
Except that I was very tired and had a headache. xP
Namine came into the doorway as well, it being wide enough for her to stand next to Roxas. She noticed that Sora and Kairi seemed to have been having a moment, and she wished that none of them had to interrupt it. After everything they had gone through, they really deserved peace. Of course, Smith didn't care about what anybody "deserved". Whatever was left of Sora's smile faded, the brunet looking from Riku to Roxas. He nodded once, seeing the seriousness on his friend's expression. He glanced at Kairi once more before he pushed himself up off the couch, stiff but not in too much pain compared to what he felt earlier when he was eating breakfast.
Last night, I went to bed early, but then I started thinking about my KH fanfic and about the plot so much that I came up with a new component of...
Sora felt a faint smile appear on his lips, the brunet never getting tired of hearing those words. He gently ran his thumb over Kairi's cheek a few times before he opened his eyes, moving away from her and at the same time taking back his hand. As much as he enjoyed this moment with Kairi, it needed to end.
xD So, guess what?
Sora took in a soft breath, his hand staying on Kairi's cheek as they both sat there in the silence. He was about to break that silence, though, but he didn't think it would spoil anything since he was going to say something they both liked saying or hearing. "I love you."

After a few more seconds, Sora pulled back from the kiss, though he allowed his forehead to stay against Kairi's. He just wanted this moment to linger, even if he did have to leave. Actually, he was surprised that Riku or Roxas hadn't come in and told him that they needed to get going yet.
Why the "..." ? xP
Sora kept his hand on Kairi's cheek, feeling her kiss him back. Now that he was so close to her, he was really wishing that he didn't have to go. But in order to protect her, so that he could be with her in the future, he needed to hunt down Smith. She wasn't safe as long as he was out there.
That is good. xD

Now that he saw them, though, he wanted something else. He gently closed the gap between them, his lips meeting hers in a kiss as he shut his eyes.

Sora shifted his gaze to the ground, knowing that neither of them wanted to face another goodbye. He would see her later, though, unless he and Roxas found Smith. "Kai?" he called without thought, lifting a hand and setting it on her cheek.
I finished Chapters 2 and 3, read The Horse And His Boy (Narnia series), and I watched Prince Caspian. =)
