Sora brought the fist up to his chest, his hand balled up because of the pain. He exhaled a soft breath through his nose, trying to get the pain to go away. It was awful that it was affecting him so much already, when he had so much he needed to do the rest of the day.

Sora ate through about half the food on his plate before he had to stop, his chest aching too much. He grunted softly, letting the fork rest on his plate for a minute. He shut his eyes and furrowed his eyebrows, at the same time lowering his head and allowing his free hand to become a fist. He hated how this pain was slowing him down.

"Thanks," Sora said with a soft nod, taking the food out of Kairi's hand. It looked delicious, and when he took his first bit of egg, it confirmed his suspicions. It was great food, but anything Kairi made turned out great. He lowered his fork to get some more egg, hungry but taking it at a regular pace so he wouldn't strain his chest.

Sora fought the urge to stretch out, knowing that it would only hurt worse than before. He headed over to the couch and sat down slowly, a soft grunt leaving him at the throbbing of his chest. He wished that he could sleep again to make the pain go away, but he now remembered why he had to be awake: he and Roxas needed to search for Smith.

Sora nodded slightly, still a little too tired to figure out why Kairi made the suggestion. Regardless, he set his hands on the arms of the chair and pushed himself up, exhaling a quiet, long breath at the awakened pain in his chest. Sleeping upright certainly hadn't helped with that, but he knew he couldn't do anything about that now.

Sora brought his hand away from his eyes, forcing them open and blinking a few times when he saw Kairi in front of him. "Yeah, sure," he said with a faint nod. He had been hungry earlier, before he had fallen asleep. Before Kairi had forced him to take a nap.

Sora brought up a hand, rubbing at his closed eyes as he tried to awaken himself quickly. "What's up?" he murmured, his voice showing the sleepiness that he still felt. He was going to try and shake that off quickly though; something told him that he needed to be fully awake as soon as possible.

Sora felt the skin against his forehead, that being the first thing that woke him up. He also heard the spoken words, and they slowly registered to him. He knew that he had to fight this initial grogginess and wake up, since somebody had just told him it was time to awaken.

Sora exhaled a soft breath through his nose, unresponsive to Kairi's gentle call. Because of his exhaustion, he was pretty out of it, and he wouldn't wake up that easily, not that he knew somebody was trying to wake him in the first place.

During his time asleep, Sora was fortunate not to have any dreams or thoughts to distract the restfulness of the nap. Of course, once he awakened, he would recall everything that was happening and feel compelled to get a move on.
