The problem with this, specifically the racism, sexism, etc. Is people spend way too much time (in my opinion) worrying about what other people do. Am I saying that I support any of these things? No. However, I am saying that in what point in history has anyone ever responded well to anything along the lines of "you are wrong for doing/thinking 'x' "? It is incredibly hard to change someone with words alone, and in my experiences the person has to WANT to change and initiate that change on their own. Even so, who is to say that attempting to change how a person thinks is the right thing to do? That would be like trying to make them "better people". Which if you think about it, is a gigantic load of BS, and I say this because who are you (not literally you) to define what is right or wrong? You can have your beliefs, morals, etc, but pushing that onto other people doesn't usually end well.

Not saying you are doing any of this, but I have a hard time reading these series of posts and just not saying something. Crypt has every right to believe this is a privilege thread, in the same sense that Princess Daisy has the right to think that Crypt is out of his/her/*fill in your gender here* mind. They are neither right nor wrong.

Also about the people avoiding certain things and that being part of the "problem". I am a firm believer in people doing what is best for themselves. For example, I try to avoid any discussion of feminism with people on this website because truthfully I think that "humanism" is more fitting (I should clarify that I don't discuss it because I really don't want to step on people's toes and then they think I am an ashehole because I don't think a certain way >.>). I don't care if you are a man, women, etc. Equality is important to me, and having it labeled as only ONE of the genders seems a bit off to me. Not to mention how badly exposed I have been to the ridiculous amount of feminist extremists that are on the internet. I am more or less referring to those who are like
male babies shouldn't be breastfed because it turns them into privileged scummy men down the road.

    EFF THAT MAN
Now if you are all for equality, and fair treatment (which sadly won't ever 100% happen, for anyone) then by all means go for it.

Back to my point, if someone was to avoid a certain subject because it makes them happier, less stressed, not depressed, and actually function better than they would normally....whats wrong with that exactly? I've always found that pointing out each other's problems is the biggest waste of time, and biggest act of hypocrisy that could probably do. In a forum situation such as this, we are better off not aggressively labeling/casting judgement on each other. I'm by no means perfect, none of us are. One thing is for sure though, we do not need to be reminded of this.

If none of this made any sense whatsoever / is too off topic / etc, I apologize. Perhaps I shouldn't post with a headache.

I don't see the problem, somebody had a question and it was answered.

Everyone has low self-esteem every now and again. There is nothing wrong with that at all. In fact I can guarantee you that probably 80% of the people on this forum not only know how you are feeling, but can relate as well.

No not at all. But that sounds amusing in the least offensive way I can say that.

Thing is, if someone is going to troll, someone is going to troll. It's best to just not care about what they say, instead of trying to adapt around not giving them "ammo", if you know what I mean.

Annnd this is where the rice lord chimes in.

Thing is (at least from what I understand), I thought the whole point of this "fill in whatever you think/feel you are" (or nothing at all, doesn't matter) for the gender option was to show that hey, some people are this way, others aren't. Its not like a debatable topic, considering that I could literally say "I am a female, despite having a man's body" and if somebody says something against that, they are considered to be a ******bag. Thus the blank space (random example tho, I am as manly as it gets).

I listened to the entire podcast while browsing on my iPad, granted there is a lot more screen room but I have done it on my iPhone 4 as well (and that screen is effing tiny).

Err, what? Can you explain this?

Strictly through codes? Probably but I don't think anyone has attempted it before. But if one could extract the subtitle files and reinsert a modified version then I can only assume that would be a more permanent way to do it, however I haven't the slightest idea how one would attempt to do that.

Well that's just it, they are merely empty words. I can't for the life of me think of a single person that took the pledge seriously in any way whatsoever. I'm not just talking about when I was in high school/middle school (where nobody cares about anything), it was just a "say these words just because" type thing, which in reality makes it meaningless. I'm not saying kids should say the pledge in school, but saying something without putting a single shred of thought/care into it is for the most part the same as not saying it at all.

The only time I've EVER seen someone even acknowledge that it was important was in 7th grade when a girl in my homeroom class refused to do it (she was a Jehovah's witness), and people were like "wtf is she doing". But it stopped there, after the first time, nobody cared. I suppose this is just another reason to eliminate it all together because if nobody actually cares, then why do it at all. It keeps people from feeling awkward, and it will just be another eliminated ritual.

In fact more about pride in one's country, I can't really think of anyone in my age group that actually gives a crap about anything involving the country unless they have something to whine about, or there is some hot trend (unfortunately that is more or less pointing towards terrorist attacks, which once they are done and over with, the people who weren't directly involved stop caring if they ever did in the first place). That thought in of itself is a sad one to behold.

My guess would be the cable.

    I mean we know this:

    • The dots are actually "attached" to the image, meaning we can all see them
    • It isn't just your browser, so it has to do with something that is displaying the image itself
    • My GPU, monitors, and cables are all fine (proven since its attached to the image)
I mean the only things I could think of are: GPU, monitor, cable, or for whatever reason you have a really stupid virus. Which I wouldn't rule out btw.

    EDIT:

A good thing to do is try this in order of "least" impacting to "most".

Try a different port on your GPU, if that doesn't work
Try a new cable, if that doesn't work
Try a new TYPE of cable (assuming you have one)
Update the drivers on your GPU
    Scan for viruses

and only after you've tried all the basic stuff would I start asking myself if my gpu is breaking or not.

Look, INSTANT Ramen isn't actually supposed to taste like the best thing you've ever had. Learn to accept that and you will enjoy it more.

That being said I don't eat Ramen much anymore

Hilariously enough, if I were to vote for some Kingdom Hearts character to be in smash, it wouldn't be Sora. I could probably think of 10 more characters from the series that are actually more interesting in terms of character development and how they fight.

    But that's just my $0.02
