I actually find stuff like this to be pretty cool.
+1
I played hearthstone too many times.
Not trying to be "that guy" but if a company known for putting exclusives on sony consoles, puts exclusives on sony consoles, that shouldn't be much a surprise at this point. There is a reason that people buy consoles for exclusives, because they want to play them lol. Not trying to turn this into a console war (because both fall before the mighty PC) but if you want to play games like this, buy a ps4 instead.
Thanks guys <3 Well, at least according to my doctor / the various tests I have to take, the main problems I suffer from since the accident are: Seizures (which I take meds for, obvs), pain (which I get treatment for every 3 months via injections into my head/neck), and memory/the ability to concentrate like a "normal" person. Now don't get me wrong, right after the accident happened, the worst part was the seizures hands down. Mine aren't the "generic" kind where i end up having convulsions (to put lightly, I don't flop around like a fish), but rather I suffered from (not fun) hallucinations/losses of time. These were triggered by stress, fatigue, etc like normal seizures. Unfortunately however while I remained conscious during these seizures I would tend to get very...angry? I am very ashamed of it, but if you take a look at my attitude a few years back (when I wasn't on medication for my seizures, we didn't find one that worked at the time). While I was conscious (moments before I would "lose time"/hallucinate) I was very angry for seemingly no reason, my posts reflected that very well. Lol just ask staff. To explain the whole "loss of time" stuff... Imagine you were sitting at your computer playing a game, and you are under stress from your day, the game, and having the injuries I have. All of a sudden you "snap" back into consciousness and you are either not where you remember you were, or time itself has moved by a significant amount. Sometimes I would essentially be a zombie for 30 minutes at a time, however most of the time it was just small bursts going in and out of consciousness. This was scary as fuck and extremely stressful at the time. Luckily the doctors are suppressing pretty much all of the triggers that causes these seizures. The injections keep the pain from my injury pretty much non existent until I need my next round of injections, the anti-seizure meds (tegretol in case anyone is curious) do the rest. EDIT: the reason the loss of time / hallucination combo was really bad was that: sometimes when I would think that I came back to consciousness I would just be hallucinating and I was still in that "loss of time". This is really hard to describe, so I'll just give an example. One my worst episodes was when I was laying down in bed and I thought to myself: "hey I should go to the bathroom", so i got up and went to the bathroom, by the time I was there I "snapped out of it". I was in my bed the whole time, I never got up. Then that process repeated itself for like 30 min to an hour. You could imagine how much of a toll that could have on your mind. Explains how I was an emotional time bomb pretty much. I feel bad for my friends/loved ones during that time. Dealing with me must have been hell on earth. tl;dr I thought with my current "treatment" that I was normal again, apparently not. Not that normal matters, but yeah you get my point.
Many thanks, I really appreciate it. I can keep you guys updated if need be. Right now I am pretty "okay", mostly because I know I need to focus on school (literally no other option than to dedicate a % of my energy to that, you guys can probably understand). But yeah, when I hear more about this I'll be sure to post about it here. Thanks for the support.
Nobody uses barrier anymore scrub, heal or bust.
Don't talk about urself like that m8.
So I'm hella bummed out. Rant: Spoiler So I go to the neurologist a lot because I was in a realllly bad car crash a couple years back (some of you know this). Today's appointment was supposed to be fairly routine, alas this was not the case. My doctor ended up giving me a neuropsychological evaluation (a smaller one tho), and unfortunately I didn't do so hot. Now one thing you guys be saying is "well Lux, bro, you have brain damage isn't this to be expected". Well yeah, it is, a few years ago. Not now, I thought I improved a lot and this test (along with my doctor) seems to think otherwise. Now don't get me wrong, my seizures have vastly improved (in fact they want to take me off the seizure meds slowly to see how I react as medication like that destroys your liver), but god damn this made me feel like an idiot. It really makes me wonder what kind of future I have ahead of me if "memory and concentration" are huge issues for me (according to the doctors, which I to an extent don't agree with). To anyone suffering from these issues as well, I don't mean to disrespect you by using words like "stupid". If you have this, it isn't fair to you and I am sure without it your potential would be far greater. That's the thing tho, I feel like this is shooting me in the foot. In this day and age especially, two incomes in a family tend to be the way to go. What if my future "career" won't happen because of this (I bring up the family thing because I don't want to be dead weight to my family in the future). Damn man this all just blows. AND on top of that I need to get more testing because I apparently did poorly. The only upside from this is I could apparently get more (yes more) money from my insurance company which hasn't even happened yet. The numbers they gave were ridiculous(ly good) in the past so maybe they will be better. However, that makes me feel bad. Its like "here is a sack of cash because you have no hope of ever making it yourself, sorry for the accident bruh". Sorry for the rant khv, I guess it beats me making fun of A-dog. Gotta let the feels out, ya dig?
Chrome > Look at you plebs, thinking otherwise. Pls
Yeah then it isn't really a good example for this particular subject.
Pretty sure this isn't what they mean, plus I can't exactly tell from just looking but that doesn't seem to be on a high difficulty. I could be wrong, but even so that's just the case of AI being strong enough to kill a boss. The point that was being made was more of a comparison. Sora > Donald and Goofy. However, Sora (much like any controllable character) is powerless without the person actually playing. Comparing the two is the very definition of unfair. If they were both AI, that would be a different story and chances are Sora would be stronger in most cases because well, duh, main character.
LOOOOOOOOL
I explained all of this already, I don't know why you feel the need to tell me things that (obviously, otherwise how else would I have explained them) I already know. Depends on the quality/file size man. If its bigger/higher quality it'll take longer to upload.
It should be mentioned that specs, in terms of pushing videos out are only really important for the speed that it will take to edit (which is important). For example, Amaury's specs make me want to cry, strictly because I have been exposed to better. If you can handle really slow rendering, etc. It doesn't "really" matter, as long as you are making LP's on consoles.
It should be known that Roxio products (at least their capture cards) are notoriously meh
I'm hoping it worked out, I have some unfinished projects on there. Spent sooooo much time on that map lol
Money, from what I understand. Which is why I offered. The server kicked ass, and I totally don't mind paying to keep it running. She said she would look for the files, or ask Synk for them if she can't find them.
Two guys used exclusively apple products which I really don't recommend, and sadly the rest of us just built our computers (I know that isn't the answer you might be looking for but that is what happened). In reality if you have the money, all it takes is a several hour session (could take a while if it is your first time, but really it is just plugging things in) to build a computer. This is by FAR my highest recommendation. It can leave you room for future upgrades, it is 100% personalized, and it has the potential for being very cost effective. Plus, the main perk of building your own machine is that you get to pick and choose EXACTLY what you want. If you are just interesting in gaming for example, prioritize most of your money into a graphics card, whereas a lot of video editors may choose a better CPU or more RAM. Take a look at some tutorials on youtube (there are plenty of them), and just kind of get the feel of if this is something you are willing to do, because if you do, it will be soooo much more worth it. I've already built several computers for myself and a couple for some friends, and I haven't gotten a single complaint from any of them (or myself lol).
Better computer = faster editing Better internet = faster uploading Desktops > Laptops If you have ever played with legos as a child, or plugged something into an outlet, you can build your own computer. It's literally that simple And what leads to a great LP (or anything in the entertainment business) 9 times out of 10 is the person not the stuff.
