Not allowing generated pokemon is pretty silly. There is no advantage to using legal generated pokemon. edit: I agree with everything else though, theyre basically just smogon's OU rules.
But that doesn't matter. How I obtained them is irrelevant, I am openly admitting that I genned them. The point is that they are legitimate pokemon that do noit break any rules. They are legitimate even down to the trash bytes stored in the nickname data.

But what if I bring my as far as you know legally bread perfect IV and EV pokemon to the 3DS tournament? Im pretty much guaranteed wins if you use non perfect pokemon right? thats the flaw here
Im confused now. When you guys battle on the actual games, are you planning on using teams that you have IV bread and EV trained with the right moves? Or just random mons you've caught and trained throughout the game?

What im trying to say is that you can decide to play the actual game for your specific battle in the tourney, using your legit pokemon, or use a simulator with slider-made pokemon. its simple.
Nobody said you have to pit your team of imperfect pokemon against pokemon made with sliders. Why are you assuming that? Nobody said you have to use YOUR team on the simulator. The point of the simulator is so you can make any team you want, so we would both be using slider-made teams.

I personally think it would be a whole lot easier. I'm all for the experience of playing on a DS, but showdown just takes all the boring parts out and lets you go straight into the battle.
theyre not technically hacked pokemon though. what i want to use are pokemon with perfectly legal stats, moves, abilities, etc. pokemon that you could breed to get but dont because you're lazy.
aw poop. i dont have any competitive mons on my file and do NOT feel like breeding. are genned mons ok (legal genned mons of course, this means that theyre exactly as they would be if you bread them)
