I know nothing of Pnach files , I only know of Emuhaste sadly.
The sad part is I still haven't played MGR , I need to play it because It looked amazing but I picked DMC over it which I don't regret cause DMC was really good , the best thing In a game is when you underestimate it and then you get surprised , though the opposite of this happened to me with gta 5 , I expected way too much and It gave me far too little.
That'd be a a bit harsh on the wrist having to carve a whole scene.
What emuhaste version are you using and what PCSX2 version are you using to emulate FM? and which FM the completely english patche xeeyamo version or carey's patch or the regular with japanese text?
Which Kingdom hearts do you have? KH 2 FM is Japan region , do you know if you have KH2FM , are you sure you don't have KH2 NTSC/PAL ? What are you playing it on PS2 or PCSX2?
Haha , Exact same way I joined up as well , Before I used to just scavenge the code vault before realising there was a whole forum to Join up to..though In recent years I've been extremely inactive but this isn't about me.
