Only thing I'll say about this is that permanent stat boosts can get out of hand really quickly. Growlanser II and III, bless them, have serious issues with snowballing permanent stat growth that can trivialize the entire second half of the game if you know what you're doing. It's definitely a tool in the toolbox, but I can see why some people would do without, depending on the game. I myself don't avoid them, because I like to tinker and there's only so much you can do to resist dominant strategy. I give all my stat boost items to Sora in KH tho, none for Donald and Goofy. They don't need the AP their skill lists are like a third the size of mine :|
Terra's my favorite because I like hitting hard with single strikes. Plus I actually liked his exclusive magic better and find him to be more fun as a mage. I actually developed a dedicated mage build for him that I think works better than most would realize. Quake is nothing to sneeze at.
I totally forget what Terra's dark style was called but that was my fave by far. Sry, critical addiction to DARKNESSSS. Such a pain to get to though, since he'd go into Blade Charge if you so much as looked at him funny.

That's fine, but what I'm saying is KH takes so many liberties with their traits and roles in the story that they effectively have more in common with the unique, KH-exclusive cast than any Disney offshoot. The difference is plain to see in worlds where another version of Mickey appears, such as Timeless River or Symphony of Sorcery.
I like most of the new ones, they added interesting effects that changed up the combat a little bit. And their effectiveness against Unknown is of course a plus. Of those, Zantetsuken and Gravity Break are probs my favorites, the former for kill potential and the latter for overall usefulness.
Ehh... Yeah I guess? But you're assuming a certain personality type and maturity level. Idk, all I know is what has worked for me, but my relationships are obviously gonna be a little different 'cause I'm weird.
Mickey and Yen Sid aren't actually affiliated with the Disney worlds though. Maleficent's a better case, but in that case there's still Cid, Leon, Yuffie, Aerith, and Cloud to consider.
